SAP Authentication on IPHONE/IPAD

Hello,
Is there a way to view analytics on iphone and ipad through SAP authentication Business Objects Explorer (Polestar)? I am able to view analytics with my enterprise credentials, but I get the follwing error when I use with my SAP credentials (PS_10001_invalid_credentials_logon). I am able to logon on successfully with both credentials through my PC browser.

请问是否是windows的什么设置相关？
补充，有一条机器操作系统是WINXP，是可以成功用IPad连接的。另外一台是Win server 2003 sp2，就是提示上面的错误。

ISE 1.1 'Change password on next logon' fails on iPhone / iPad

Hello -
We're in the process of implementing an ISE 1.1 server for Guest Wireless Access / BYOD at our company and ran into an issue with authenticating from iPhones / iPads when the account is set with 'change password on next logon' (it's a local account created on the ISE server - not AD). It fails and displays 'unable to join network' on the iPhone. The ISE log shows a '5411: No response received in 120 seconds'. We're able to authenticate from Windows devices and are prompted to change the password during the authentication process. Has anyone else encountered this? If we uncheck the 'change password' box we can authenticate from iPhones & iPads without any issue but we need to have a way for users to set their own password.

I am encountering the exact same issue in our lab environment, but with AD accounts (We would like customers to be able and connect to the dot1x network with their AD credentials, and based on machine authentication they will or will not get restricted access).
Just to be clear: the change password functionality works perfect on laptops, but on ipad/android we just cannot connect to the dot1x (PEAP) network when the "change password on next login" checkbox is on.
Anyone else who can shed some light on this?

How to get iphones / ipad user agent for internet access

Hi.
We recently setup some wireless, and I'm wondering how I can get iphones and ipads connected to the internet without prompting for a username and password. Even if it does prompt and we put in our domain credentials, things don't work.. it's like it heavily restricts access. However if you put DOMAINNAME\ in front of your user name, then it seems to work.
Without making static IP reservations and attaching those ip's to no authentication in IronPort... isn't there a way to assign these devices to a policy via their user agent string? Problem is finding that string amongst different versions of iphones and ipads.

SSLSoapClient
AppleWebKit (does not seem to work)

Also do you guys know if the custom user agent field can accept wildcards? Problem is, every version of iOS for iPhone 1, 3G, 3GS, 4, and iPad 1 & 2, or ipod touch (various generations) all have variations in their user strings. If I could just do a blanket statement for like *iphone* , *ipad*, etc.... that would be easier.
So are there any wildcards or txt masks that can be put in and interpreted in the custom user agents field?

Authentication for Shared iPad

I have a retail cusotmer that is interested in using shared iPads for thier store employees and securing the environment with ISE. Is there a way to authenticate both the device (certificate) and the user (AD username / pw)?
My understanding is that this is the concept behind EAP-Chaining available in AnyConnect 3.1. Will this feature be implemented in AnyConnect 2.x for mobile devices?
Any alternative suggestions on solving the business use-case would be appreciated too!

IPhone/iPad can't forward attachments via Exchange ActiveSync

We're currently moving from Exchange 2003 SP2 to Exchange 2010 SP1.
Most of our mailboxes are still on EX2003, however most of our services have been moved to EX2010.
Services such as mailflow; EAS; OWA; etc...
A week or two after cutting services over, a lot of our iPhone/iPad users started to experience the problem where they couldn't forward emails that contained attachments from their iPhones. They get a "Cannot Send Mail: An error occurred while delivering this message."
We did some initial testing with .txt; .doc; .pdf and found that most attachments would not go if they were bigger than 100KB.
We checked our EX2010 Exchange ActiveSync Mailbox Policies to see if there was a default maximum attachment size set.
There was none, so we set it for 40MB.
We also updated the refresh interval to 1 hr, however we still can't seem to forward emails that contain attachments.
Any solutions or suggestions would help.

This is what worked for us:
Environment:
ActiveSync configured on Exchange 2003 SP2 running on Windows Server 2003 SP2with IIS 6
Issue:
Email message with attachment (regardless of attachmentsize) sent from a mobile device(smartphone, iPhone, iPad, etc.) remains “stuck” in mobile device’s Outbox, but NOT in Exchange account Outbox
No error message(s) displayed on mobile deviceor on Exchange server
NOTE:NO problems receiving/opening/reading Incoming emails that have attachments on a mobile device
Fix:
Go to the %SystemRoot%\Temp( WINNT\Temp or WINDOWS\Temp)directory on the Exchange server:
Click on the Security tab and add Authenticated Users
Grant AuthenticatedUsers the following permissions:
Modify
Read & Execute
List Folder Contents
Read
Write

Proxy exceptions on safari / iPhone-iPad config utility

Is it possible to setup an 'exception to proxy' in either Safari or via the iPhone-iPad configuration Utility?
I can have either everything proxied or nothing proxied using the wi-fi networks setting for my connection, unfortunately as this is a corporate connection, I have to keep switching the http proxy setting from manual to off.

Due to the absence of proxy exception, I spent hours trying to use proxy.pac. I set up an IIS server, set up a proxy pac. For Safari and iTunes worked fine, however for mail and other applications (SoundHound operates etc ...) did not work.
My environment has an aggravating factor, because the proxy requires authentication and the proxy does not support it. Every time I open Safari, it requires re-authentication to navigate.
I hope apple in iOS 5 increase support services for corporate and implement NTLM , Kerberos TGT for single sign on.
If you guys got some information regarding, please let me know.

NTLM proxy authentication and the iPad

We have bluecoat proxies using NTLM authentication to access the internet.
After entering your credentials, the iPad hangs until a time out error occurs.
Recording the conversation at the proxy reveals that the iPad does not respond to the challenge hand shake.
My question is: How do I configure the iPad to make it work?

Sorry for not replying, but I continue to forget the get the snapshots at work. If I recall correctly, here are some steps:
In "authentication" layer, in the "Source" column, create a combined object and add the following users agents to it: "iPhone", "iPad", and "MobileSafari"
Select that conbined object in the source
Set it to authentication and set auth type to "Proxy IP"
Go back to proxy management, under the "Configuration" tab, go to "Authentication" and then select your IWA Authentication Realm.
Edit that, in there, there is a setting for "surrogate refresh time", set that to some large number such as 8 hours or so. Remember, if you don't set the surrogate setting, it will work, but you will run into random cases where specific session does not contain a "user agent" that matches the ones you created in step # 1. The surrogate setting should resolve that conflict.
The rest of the rules are related to your actual normal ACL to restrict the mobile devices from going where they should not.
I may be missing a step or two, forgive me, as I'm pulling this off of memory, but I will do my best to remember when I'm at work to get the details instructions on how I did it.
PS: your mobile device should point to the proxy, or if you have WCCP set, then that's a different case that I did not test the mobile device under that scenario. However, you will need to type in your credentials as well in the mobile device under the "Proxy settings", remember, when your "Domain" policy dictate the the user password must be changed every xx days, you will need to update your password in the mobile device at the same time.

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

We already Installed and configured sap integration kit and every thing works fine. My question is as of now we connected our sap BW Dev system to BOBJ but we would like to connect to BW Prod System to same BOBJ System. What are the steps we need to follow to do this.
Can we just add the new logical system in entitlement tab of sap authentication in BOBJ 3.1? and import the roles and login to BOBJ USING THE Newly added SYSTEM Credentials. Thanks in Advance.

I can call out but all incoming calls are going directly to VM with no signal that I missed a call or have VM. I can send/receive text messages from other iPhone/iPad/iTouch users, I am assuming this is really "iMessage." Is it apple software?

I have spent hours on the phone with Apple and AT&T. I went thought reset, on/off, etc, etc with both companies to no avail. Each company pointed fingers at the other....as being the source of the problem.
Problems: Suddenly ALL incoming calls were going directly to VM with no signal I missed calls and/or had VM. I was also unable to receive all Text Messages...Oddly, I could send text messages to anyone (even non-apple users but I could not receive their responses)........then I when I got home I started receiving text messages from other apples users ONLY. I assume now - iMessage kicked in and I could text (send/receive) other iPhone/iPad/iTouch users ONLY. ....yes, I could still (send) text messages to my husband's blackberry (he received my messages fine) but my phone would NOT receive his text respones.
Finally, I googled the problem and found this community where other people have had the exact same problems! One person said he "turned off 3 G" which was the solution for him....so I did the same and VIOLA! My problem solved! Nevermind the fact that I pay for 3G and cannot use it....so here's my question, if 3G is the problem on my phone is this an APPLE issue or a NETWORK problem? Do I purchase a new phone and slip in my same SIM card and hope the same does not occur or do I get a whole new SIM card and phone? What is the long term resolution to this problem?
I am happy however to find that my problem is NOT an isolated incident and wish Apple or AT&T had told me this is not so uncommon because I thought (based on the baffled response from Apple) that this has never occurred before. Where is Steve Jobs when we need him?

My Actual Question
What would the Flash/Flex community like to see / have when rendering to iPhone. I'm not Adobe so if you make a suggestion to me and I like it - its added yesterday. I can do anything when rendering so use your imagination!

That was my first path actually. I wanted to just take the byte data from Flash or event simple meta data. But the problem in that is that not all devices support Flash Player, so the IDE is not accessable under all circumstances.
I have class builders (I can send a manifest to it and it will spit out my Actionscriptcode, I've ran it on 100s of files at times)... this helped me to get a better understanding of syntax relationships between code. That being said... I can parse some PHP and Javascript into Actionscript, but I'm not working on the opposit to apply Actionscript logic within PHP and Javascript - to be honest I'm about 40% complete on that one.
FYI: I can render MXML live - at runtime and compile actionscript live - at runtime. Try it out.

Cannot connect SAP Business One with iPad

Hey all,
I am new to SAP Business One. And i am exploring SAP Business One Mobile Applicaiton for iPad.
I've tried to follow the step to set up my both SAP Business One and iPad but failed.
The message "Connecting to server" keep loading and after few minutes show me "Tje request timed out (-1001)"
So am I did something wrong? Or miss out something?
Please advice with this problem.

But it's is failed again.
As iPad doesn't really need a mobile phone number, so i just simple key in a number for both SAP B1 and my iPad. Is it any problem?
Another question, I've tested my connection for B1D1, but failed, following is the error message.
com.sap.b1i.adapter.dia.exception.ConnectionFailedException: Connect to Business One failed.
(-107) Unable to connect with the specified username and or password
Anything i miss out?
