SAP Authorization errors

Hi Experts ,
When we run the WEB- I report created on bex query which has characteristic variable of processing type Authorization and ready for user input.
The error we are getting as " error getting levels for hierarchy (Dimension) : Unknown error.
Some time we get error as " Supplied XML is not valid "
Some time we get error as " Error in MDDatasewBW.getcelldata :Unknown error.
those error are coming when I choose value for the user input prompt in BO side.
Please help me to resolve this.

The details are
SAP version: 710 Final Release Patch 8.
BO version XI 3.1 Patch level 1.7
The qurey run fine in BEx and give the data set which user is authorized to see ..
in BO we are getting this error.
If we do not slect any value in user input prompts it work fine in BO , but of no use we have to selcet some of value for user input prompts ...
Senario is : One user has access to global level data having * Authorization on Region
other user have restricted accees to data ( only for 2 region )
in BEX it gives right result
in BO it give error as meantioned.

No Authorization error in executing a planning sequence

Hi,
We are using BI 7.0 Integrated Planning.
We have implemented Mark Bernaud's file upload solution. We have used a planning sequence that uploads the file and stores it in a cube. Using it, we are able to upload files without any problem when executing with a SAP User Id which has all the authorizations (the user id has SAP_ALL specified in its list of profiles). Now, we have a requirement where we need to execute the file upload using a user id which has limited authorizations. When we are trying to execute the file upload with the userid that has limited authorizations, we are getting the following authorization error.
'You are not authorized to execute sequence PL_SEQ_FL_UPLOAD'
where PL_SEQ_FL_UPLOAD is the name of planning sequence we are using. We have also included the authorization variable in the filters being used as suggested in one of the blogs but this didn't help.
Could anyone please let us know the authorization objects to be added to the user id to enable access to this file upload.

The objects you suggested were already there. We have successfully traced the error by switching on the trace using ST01. We found the reason for the error to be that display authorization is not provided for S_RS_PLSQ whereas execute authorization is already present for that.

User requests that Authorization issue is resolved and Bid # appear for Procurement Coordinators. This problem does not happen for Commodity Managers

Please do the following steps.
When you are using the Internal ITS,you need not run the report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES.(only SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT )
ALso pls check the foll:
-->activate the services through SICF tcode.
> Go to SICF transaction and activate the whole tree under the node Deafult host>sap>bc>gui>sap>its.
>Also maintain the settings in SE80>utilities>settings>internet transactuon server-->test service/Publish.
Table TWPURLSVR should have entries for the / SRM server line as well as gui and web server.
Could you please review again the following steps ?
Did you check that ICM was working correctly (TA SMICM) ?
1-Activate the necessary ICF services
With transaction SICF and locate the
services by path
/sap/public/bc/its/mimes
/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
2- Publish the IAC Services
With Transaction SE80 locate from
the menu Utilities -> Settings ->
Internet Transaction Server (Tab) ->
Publish (Tab) and set On Selected
Site = INTERNAL.
3- Locate the Internet Services SYSTEM and WEBGUI.
Publish these services with the Context
Menu -> Publish -> Complete Service
4- Browse to http://<server>:<icmport>/sap/bc/gui/
sap/its/webgui/! and login to the
webgui.

Authorization Error in Integration Repository

Hi,
I have authorization issues with Integration Repository(IR) in XI 7.0 Server. While logging into IR, i use the PISUPER id which works fine. But if i use other id it throws authorization error.
I am using client 710 and have created an id with relevant roles to login to IR which failed. Then i created same id on 001 client and could logon to IR with that id. This means that while logging into IR, it points to 001 client and not 710 that i am using. Thus i need to use 2 different ids: one for IR that points 001 client and other for logging into SAP system on 710 client.
I referred the below thread which tells the same.

Can someone explain me about this.
Also can i use the same id for logging to IR and SAP system?

Yes i know that users and roles are client dependent. But my problem is different.
I hav created a new client 710 which is copy of 001 client and also performed the post steps as per SAP Note 940309.
The problem i face is while logging to Integration Repository. I have id PISUPER on both the clients 001 and 710. But for logging to IR it accepts the logon credentials of 001 client and not of client 710. I understood this when i changed the password of PISUPER on client 710.
As per my knowledge, for logging to IR it should use the user master record of client 710.
Kindly help me on this.

Authorization Errors from BEx queries

We are developing Crystal reports on top of BEx queries. We are working on BO XI 3.1 FP2.8, Crystal Reports FP2.8 and SAP Integration Kit FP2.8 and SAP BW is BI 7.0 Suppport pack 5.0. How can we display the Authorization errors that are returned on BEx queries on the Crystal reports.
If i run the Crystal reports and if it comes back empty, there can be 2 reasons one no Data and second no proper authorizations. We want to display a mesage to users to tell them the report is empty either becaus of no data or Authorization error.

Unable to access or view data with no authorization error

Hi Experts,
Appreciate your guys help. I am ID administrator where by some of our user ID unable to view data/ display report for the some of data even the appropriate authorization already assigned to the user. However when we check in the transaction SU53 - authorization checking no error shown!
There is a case whereby user report that his ID (e.g. SAP ID = ABC) unable to access a transaction or infotype data for example HR infotype masterdata,upon checking there is no authorazition error (checked insu53), when copy the ID (ABC) to another new ID (ABC1) with no changes on the roles, the ABC1 ID able to access the said transaction.However, when copy back ABC1 to the ABC (naming conversion only), the ABC ID still unable to access the transaction with no authorization error. the
main problem here is the original ID is not working, but works fine if it is copied to another ID name.

Background: We had taken 1 year Netweaver subscription which expired in november and later on, we renewed it for next year.
Problem: We have to download the license key form SAP market place. But after login, when I click on "Request permanent license key" link, it shows me 'Authorization Error!
Currently you do not have authorization to use this function. To request the authorization, please contact one of the administrators at your company'
Can any body tell me what would be problem? Or what to do next?

Hi Chandan Mahajan,
Even though you have valid OSS ID, access in SMP, You need need necessary Authorizaiton to request License keys not all users by default can request it.
Gain the required authorizations and then request license keys.
To know who can give acess:
Goto -> SMP -> MyProfile -> Display my Super-administrators -> One of those admin should be able to grant the required acess.

Accordingly get the required role assigned to the user you are using there.
Unlock the user if it is locked
Reset the password and provide the new password in the login settings
Give a try again

Pisuper Authorization error, I can't logged with any user on Int Builder

Hi SAP Guru's ,
Please help me as i new in SAP XI . I am unable to logged on in Integration Builder with any user i tried pisuper, sapuser but still got the same error "Authorization error, unknown username or password" . I check with T-Codo SU01 but pisuper does not exist so i create one user and assign him SAP_XI_Developer , SAP_XI_Configuration etc but still i am unable to login so kindly requesting you to please help me as quickly as possible.
even though i am unable to logged on user management with any user. PLease tell me the step by step configuration of how to setup each and every part of XI.

Hi,
Whenever you create any Transaction Code, you need to attach an authorization Object to it. As per the role (e.g. Developer or Administrator ) you need to attach the Authorization Object to it.
Execute Tocde: SE93 -> Give you Tcode and in the edit mode assign the authorization object : S_DEVELOP, S_GUI as a basic minimum authorization object. If you are still getting the authorization errors, you need to get all the authozation objects from the BASIS Administrator and assign it to you Tcode.

Authorization errors when access to Integration builder design

HI ALL,
I am roger,
i have XI system, i can open http://localhost:50000/rep/start/index.jsp
and the the display content is fine. but when i click the 'integration builder' or 'integration directory' link, it prompt the username and password, then i input my username and password, the error
'Authorization error; unknown user name or incorrect password' occurs.
i can access the NWA using the username and password and my account has the SAP-XI_administrator role. i don't know why i can't access the 'integration builder' or 'integration directory' , what cause this problem?

I was able to login to XI Administartion page, from administartion page, when I go to Directory tab, I get authorization error, what userid I need to use to login to XI administration and drill down to directory tab
