  • SAP Treasury Reporting for Fixed Term Deposits

    Hi,
We have a requirement for SAP Treasury
    The requirement is
Fixed Deposits Investment in 10 banks. Shall we assign 10 GL Accounts 10 Banks or Single GL account is fulfill the requirement.
If Single GL account is fulfill the requirement, How to get Reports?
Scenario 1: 1 GL Account is assigned to fixed deposits in different banks
How to get Report of Particular bank and Particular Investment
    with regards

    Hi Krishna,
I guess it should be sufficient to have just 1 G/L account for the position of fixed-term deposits, as you can use the standard report TPM12 to report over outstanding position per different Business partner, which is equal to different bank you deal with on a specific date. the advantage of this report is that you can even report over periods, which are in the future, therefore no data is transferred to accounting yet.
    hope this will help you.
    Kind regards,

  • Fixed term deposit cfm

Hai experts i have one issue that is
Am posting  fixed term deposit using the t-code TBB1 system showing on error
(House bank not specified in the flow) at same time fixed term bonds posting using same t-code entry will be pass ,error only come FD CAN U GIVE THE CLARIFICATION .PLS URGENT

    Hi,
basically if you want to post a flow whether it is from FTD or security contract you have to define payment instructions if the flow is customized as posting relevant. So I guess that the flows for the security transaction (if I understand it right with the fixed term bond) are not defined as posting relevant resp. the assigned update types. Please check this setting.

  • Fixed term deposit - Rollover

    Hi Friends,
We are implementing ECC 6.0 FSCM and we have the following scenario to cater :
    - To create a new fixed term deposit from the funds of 3 house banks. Kindly guide me step by step in configuration and to create new FD
    - To rollover existing FD with additional funds from 2 house banks. Kindly guide me with step by step in configuration and manual to do so.
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi,
Once you have status reversed, you cannot do anything further with the transaction.
If you have already posted the flow before reversing, you can post the reversal of those flows in TPM10.
Once you have reversed there can be no longer any postings that can be done to the transaction.  You need to create a new transaction for processing further.
P.S:  There is a separate forum for treasury applications and hence would request you to post there for getting better response.

  • SAP Treasury - Fixed Deposits Product Type 51A

    Hi,
    I have one question.
I invested in Same Bank Example CITI Bank but different  in branches
CITI Bank - Hyderabad 1 crore invested in Fixed Deposit
CITI Bank - Bangalore - 1 crore invested in Fixed Deposit
CITI Bank - Mumbai  1 Crore Invested In Fixed Deposit
    Interest rate is same
    But Maturity Period is Different
In the report, I need Bank Details and Branch Details
At the time of Creation of Transaction - I want to add Bank and Bank Branch Details is it possible
I want to create purchase transactions Branch wise. Is it possible
    With regards
    raju

    Hi Krishna,
if you want to see deals per branch, then these branches need to be represented as separate Business partners (BPs) in the system. as per your example you will have 3 fixed term deposits with their own specific conditions (rate, maturity, etc.) with the branches of CITI (in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai).
    Kind regards,

  • How sap bw related sap banking

    Hello experts,
I have a small doubt, for Sap banking organisation implementating is  sap banking module or simple sap FI module  is being used? How much it is related to sap bw.
    Thanks
    Vinod

    Dear AM,
When i create a query on an info cube,,and when its executed..it instantaneously generates a sequence of SELECT statements which fetch data from the Data Targets..Also for each navigation step in ur query...it generates another set of SELECT statements which fetches the required information..
So the backend retrieval is Generation of SELECT Statements for fetching the infoemation..
The Basic purpose of Cube is
    1. It doesnt over write records.
    2. It store Aggregated Data or Consolidated Data.(Key Figures are set Summaton, Maximum, and Minimun..)
    3. It is a Multi Dimensional Data Model.
    Hope this helps u...
    Assign points if needful..

  • Query on SAP Bank Analyzer

    Hi,
We are presently working on the SAP Banking suite , mainly on SAP Loans Management and SAP Collateral Management. We would now like to look into SAP Bank Analyzer. Can SAP Bank Analyzer be accessed in SAP ECC 6.0 ? If not, request you to clarify if this can be provided as an add-on or is it available in a different platform and if additional licences are required.
Moreover is there any training program and material on Bank Analyzer provided by SAP?
    Shall appreciate a quick response.
    Regards
    Subhobrata

    Hi Subhobrata,
SAP Bank Analyzer has never been part of SAP ECC. It is shipped as part of Banking Services from SAP.
Banking Services is based on a different Netweaver stack (7.1X) than ECC (7.0X). Installation is only possible as separate instance and requires additional licensing.
An overview of trainings for analytical banking is available at: http://www1.sap.com/services/education/catalog/industry/curriculum.epx?context=%5b%5bBANK_ANAL%5d%5d%7c

  • SAP Banking - Issue with Bank statement

    Hi
We are using Banking Services from SAP 6.0. In Account management I am able to create the bank statement and can view in the Bank statement history that the bank statement has been created. However when I double click the bank statement I want to view (in the ALV Grid)I get an error message which reads "FUNCTION DOUBLE_CLICK HAS NOT BEEN IMPLEMENTED YET". Message information

    Message no 501.
Any help on this issue will be appreciated
    Thanks

    Hi,
Given the situation I think its a technical problem rather than a functional and for this you would need help from your basis team. Check the version history of SAP banking and apply the patches if required be.

  • SAP Bank Analyzer in Banking services

    Hi All,
Need some details about the SAP Bank Analyzer in Banking services.
    Thanks,
    Ulrich

    Hi,
SAP best practices are showcased towards this objective in collaborating with different toolsets available to achieve IFRS goal. Bank Analyzer is a solution portfolio that can be recommended to achieve the IFRS goal. Bank Analyzer provides the application for Calculation, Analysis and Valuation of Financial products and supports the Financial and Risk Management processes for overall Bank control of financial products and the targeted architectural strategy for analytical solutions is marked by SAP Net weaver based on e-SOA concepts.
IFRA embraces layer architecture to ETL the Non Valuated Financial data in the SDL, Do the Calculation and Valuation procedures (CVPL/PML), Integrate different applications and consolidate the Valuated Data in RDL and report the desired data in SAP BI.
The changing requirements like SOX compliance, Basel reporting, IFRS give challenges to Banks to go for a software solution (BA) that is open and easily adjustable for all Bank controlling processes. All financial data Consolidation, Consistency, Data exchange across all application is called for. The changing new requirements call for a solution to combine the Revenue generating area (Financial products) and the Operational area (Business support). Hence the architectural solution IFRA in BA will provide the basis for Consistency, Transparency and Data exchange across FA, MA, RM and RR.
Bank Analyzer  breaks the silo reporting by integrating internal and external reporting both in the management of Financials as well as risk and reduce the gap between FA and MA as well as RM and RR. Bank Analyzer   Is a modeling environment which can be understood better when we elaborate the aspects of IFRA.
Firstly FDB provides the Single source of Truth as the core Financial and risk information are concentrated and integrated, secondly the Layer Model suits the adaptability to new requirements and further Strategies like Modularity, Openness makes Bank Analyzer focus on Bank Value chain Performance measurement on all aspects towards success.
Bank Analyzer   has Analyzers to evaluate SAP AFI with Merge Scenario based on Multi GAAP results and Sub Ledger solution with GL integration. SAP Basel II solution, SAP Limit solution
Please let me know if you need more details.

  • Dual "Define Account Determination" under SAP Banking ??

    Hi, all
There are two "Define Account Determination" transaction under IMG SAP Banking:
    1) SAP Banking -> Loans Management -> Transaction Management -> Update Types -> Define Account Determination, which is the same as the one under FSCM/Treasury and Risk Management.
    2) SAP Banking -> Loans Management -> Functions -> Accounting -> General Ledger Update -> Define Account Determination
By trial and error, it seems that the later one should be used in Loans Management. Could anyone tell me under which conditions should the former one be used?
    Thanks.

We use product types under both SAP Banking->Loans and FSCM/Treasury and Risk, but I never realized that the Account determination for FSCM was included in the IMG path for SAP Banking->Loans....  When I learned Loans configuration, I was pointed in the direction of the Account determination under Functions, and never noticed it elsewhere.
I poked around the IMG a little and it looks like you would use the Account Determination under Update Types if you set up your Loans for parrallel valuation - that is if you need to maintain multiple valuations for Loans.  It appears the Account Determination under Update Types appears to be needed for the postings to the parrallel valuation areas.
We don't use parrallel valuation for Loans, so that would be another reason I've not needed the Account Determination under Update Types.
From what I'm seeing in the IMG, I would say that if you only need one valuation for Loans, like we do, then you shouldn't need the Account determination under Update Types - just the one under Functions.

    Shannon
