Hi XI Experts
We have scheduled the job SAP_BC_XMB_ARCHIVE<CLIENT> in our XI system but it is being cancelled.
Job logs are showing that "Unable to generate job, archive run0; area 0 - 99. Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE".

  • Client copy cancelled in postprocessing phase

    Dear experts,
    could you please suggest me:
I've copied client from QAS system to DEV system with SAP_ALL profile. All tables were imported successfully. But during postprocessing phase process was cancelled due to rdisp/max_wprun_time. Program SBDLS30020100611215008 was terminated. I decided to start BDLS manually and have done it. But I don't understand is that all? Are there any postprocessing actions which I have to do? What is the status of my client? Is it ready for work? I see in scc3 that client copy cancelled. How can I avoid this error?

    Hi,
Yes, you are right, if you were performing a remote client copy then post processing(SCC7) is not required. And for your query about restarting a failed client copy, pls refer to this link.

  • Client Copy  canceled

    Hi Guys,
I scheduled a client copy job. A few minuites after the job started from SCC3 it shows client copy canceled. SM21, System Log displayed the following message:
    Database error 25153 at EXE
I need to run the client copy.
Please, what can I do to resolve this problem?
    Cheers,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
Please check your PSAPTEMP tablespace status. Open BRTOOLS from SIDADM login or ORASID login and go by options.
It will show you tablespace status. If you find its running out of space please add some space into it and re-execute the client copy.
BRTOOLS --> 2.Space management --> then "continue" and it will give you option as "Show Tablespace".
Hope this clarifies. Should you have any more query, please let us know in the forum.

  • Client Copy- Cancelled

    Hi,
I am doing a local client copy with SAP_ALL profile on ECC 6.0 (Kernal 700 Patch- 133). After creating a new client, i started the client copy with sap* user with SCCL t-code.
After some time, the client copy got cancelled and  it gave a SYSTEM_CORE_DUMP in ST22.
    "Error in the SAP kernel.
The current ABAP "SAPLSDBI_DYNSQL" program had to be terminated because the
ABAP processor detected an internal system error."
Do you think I have to upgrade the kernal to patch level 185 for this error or it can be solved by some other ways.
    Please suggest.
    Regards,
    Jitender

Do you think I have to upgrade the kernal to patch level 185 for this error or it can be solved by some other ways.
Kernel upgrade is not required only for this activity, as you are allready in 133. First of all check the space at file system on OS level and remove the core dump, then run the check db and see the space available on database, then perform a test run and at last execute the local client copy

  • Allow client to cancel scheduled reboot

I am scheduling a task to run some maintenance scripts and then reboot. I would like to have a warning popup on the client giving them the option to cancel before restarting their computer.  If they didn't respond within a specified amount of time, the scripts would run and the computer would reboot.  Any suggestions?

Have you tried applescript? There a command line tool to trigure an applescript. You could use a command like.
    try
        with timeout of 2 seconds
            tell application "Finder"
                set answer to display dialog "This computer is about to be rebooted" buttons {"Reboot", "Cancel Reboot"}
            end tell
        end timeout
    on error
        set answer to {button returned:"Cancel Reboot"}
    end try
and then pipe the results into an if then command.

    Hi,
    First clarify:
Are you able to login into client 600?
Do you want to login into 600, already deleted client?
do you want the root cause, why this was cancelled?
What wil happen if it cancelled in between?
I would suggest you to have a brief detail about Client deletion in client maintanance.

  • I am trying to load a website on my computer when this "client certificate" pop up comes up- I click continue and have also tried cancel but my page will not load. Please help?

    help!

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.
Sometimes the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request an optional client certificate. Safari treats the request as mandatory. In that case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.
The first time you were prompted for a certificate, you may have clicked through a dialog that requested access to the Apple certificate in your keychain that is used to secure the iMessage service. In that case, you may be able to regain access to the site in Safari by doing as follows.
    Back up all data.
Double-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    com.apple.idms.appleid.prd
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Paste into the search field in the Keychain Access window by clicking in it and pressing the key combination command-V. An item may appear in the list of keychain items. The Name will begin with string you searched for, and the Kind will be "certificate."
Delete the item by selecting it and pressing the delete key. It will be recreated automatically the next time you launch the Messages or FaceTime application.
The next time you visit a site that prompts for an optional client certificate, cancel out of the prompt. You may have to do this several times before the server stops asking.

  • Linux client can't cancel print jobs in print monitor

CUPS print server on Mac OS X server 10.4
    CentOS 4.4 linux client
    - Mac OS X server and CentOS linux client on different authentication sources
The CentOS 4.4 linux client is configured for CUPS printing and pointed to the Mac OS X server CUPS print service.
The linux client can successfully print to available printers servered by the Mac OS X server.
The linux client has a print monitor. Normal user on linux client cannot cancel print jobs thru this print monitor. Selection of print job and pressing the 'cancel' button do not effect a cancel. Admin user on Mac OS X print server can cancel the job from the print server.
Is authorization required for a client to cancel a CUPS print job on the client?
Is same authentication setup required for both client and server?
    Thanks,
    -Neil

    Hi,
From the Desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  Into the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter.  Browse down to the print spooler service, right click it and select Properties then click on the Stop button.  Now browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS and delete the job inside this folder - You may need to click a prompt to gain the appropriate authority to open the PRINTERS folder.
Restart the computer and you should find the document(s) have been removed.

  • Posting of cancelled Invoice after posting date is over

    Hello Experts,
I am stuck up with a situation and as such seek your help.
A invoice was generated and the subsequent accounting document was also cleared. Now after the posting date was over, someone cancelled the invoice by T.code VF11 and as expected it didnt get posted .The document flow showing is as per below :
    Order - open
    Invoice - completed
    Accounting Document - Cleared
    Cancel Invoice - Open
Now, the business and their audit policies do not allow the client to cancel the invoice in back date ( within the posting period).
What are the options do we have to tackle the situation.
    Joy

The issue has been temporarily addressed by changing the posting date.
However, now the client wants us to make an ABAP development so that no user is able to cancel the invoice after posting date is over. Now for that I have the following issues. Can someone please help me out in this.
The basic process details I am following is as per below:
For Transaction Code VF11 (i.e for Cancellation of Invoice) , when the invoice number which is subject to cancellation is provided, the System should search in VBRK table for the following :-
1)The System will at first search whether the entry exists or not. If the Entry is not valid then it should give an message u201C Document xxxxx does not Existu201D.This is in line to the existing practice.
    2) If the Document number is valid then it will go to the billing date field and  will fetch the value from the VBRK table . Then it will match  whether the value fetched (i.e. this Invoice date)  is in present posting period or not. The system can find the posting period from the table V_T001B.
a.If  the  Invoice date lies in the present posting period then the system will allow the cancellation document to be saved. This is in line to the existing process.
b.If the Invoice date lies beyond the present posting period then the system will not allow to save the cancellation of the Invoice with a pop up message of u201C The Document number subject to cancellation do not lie within the present posting periodu201D .
Now We have looked both the tables, from VBRK we will get Doc# and Billing date(FKDAT) but when we select Posting Date from table T001B( Permitted Posting Periods) there is some issue.
    1.  What will be the condition for selecting records from T001B table.Since there is multiple key fields
        RRCTY (Record Type) ,
        BUKRS (Posting Period Variant) ,
        MKOAR (Account Type or Masking)
        BKONT (To Account).
So, to get unique record what will be the value of this key fields. Is there any relationship with VBRK table ?
    2.  Which field I have to consider as Posting Date or Period. Because there are many fields related to Posting period.

  • Exchange iOS calendar sync 4 cancellations & accepted meetings

Using corporate Exchange 2010 servers for calendar and email me and my co-workers experience the following annoyance.
When a meeting in outlook is cancelled and this is accepted using the windows client, the cancelled meeting is still shown in de ios calendar. It is noted cancelled using strikethrough, but it still clutters my calendar. As my calendar is a battlefield these cancellations make it hard to see which meetings I do have... How can I change this behaviour?
Similarly for accepted meetings, these (with cancellations aswell) remain unprocessed in my ios calendar tray while I allready accepted or rejected the invitations using outlook in windows.
I'm referring to ios because I have this problem with both my iPhone (4S on ios5, no iCloud sync for calendar) and iPad (2 on ios5, no iCloud sync for calendar).
Result: cancelled meetings have to be removed manually on iphone en ipad, invitations in outlook have to be processed three times (pc, iphone, ipad).
My questions: is this behaviour recognized? (i.e. is our Exchange setup different or is this a general problem).
Any tips/hints how to solve these bugs? or should I try to accept them as features...
    Thx!
    Mike

Having same issue with following equipment:  PC (standard corp issue laptop), BB (Blackberry phone), Tablet (Blackberry Playbook tablet)
    Here are the steps:
    Send out 3 meeting invites
The emails shows up on all 3 devices, PC, BB, Tablet
Before you open the email and accept/tentative/decline that invite...all 3 devices show the 3 "unaccepted" meetings on the calendar
Then accept meeting invite #1 on the PC, accept meeting #2 on the BB, and accept meeting #3 on the Tablet
After the acceptance all 3 meetings they show up fine in the calendars on the PC and BB...no problem here.
But only meeting number 3 which was accepted on the Tablet shows on the Tablet
The problem is that the other 2 meetings which were on the Tablet before being accepted, are removed when accepted.

  • Cancellation of Billing document

    Hi,
We cancel the invoice in VF11 with reference to the invoice/billing document.
Now the invoice is created on for ex: 01.01.2009  but the client will cancel the invoice on 02.02.2009.
Can we make any settings so that the invoice is cancelled on 01.01.2009.
If we cancel system will take sy-datum as cancel date otherwise we can enter the bill date in Vf11 at the header and cancel also.
But can we make any settings so that cancellation also will be done at the same date as of invoice.
ie if invoice is created on 01.01.2009 if we cancel on 02.02.2009 the cancelled billing document should automatically have bill date 01.01.2009 and accounting data also need to be posted on 01.01.2009.
Is there any standard functionality or User exit where we can implement the same.
    regards

    Hello Saju,
As far as I know, the standard system behaviour is that the billing date
(VBRK-FKDAT) of the invoice cancellation is always taken directly from the original document.
Do you have your own coding in following copy control?
In the level of invoice type (Transaction VOFA), every invoice type has
    its own cancellation type.
==> VOFA 'Billing: Document Types' for example: billing type F2 invoice
        Cancell.billing type 'S1'     Invoice Cancellation
        Copying requirements '  '  <        Here
Or have you made use of userexit  "USEREXIT_FILL_XKOMK1" (Include RV60BFZA) to make VBRK-FKDAT=sy-datum ?
Please refer to note 112385 for some information.

  • RMI client side callbacks

    Hi all,
I have an RMI server and a number of clients that run on different machines. What I need to do is, implement the "observer" pattern. i.e.
in my case, not only the clients call the server, but also the server
must notify the registered clients when its state changes.
For that purpose, I suppose, that my clients must also be RMI servers.
My first question is, is that true what I suppose? Is there any other
way to implement asynchron client side callbacks with RMI?
My second question is, if it must be done so (clients are also RMI servers), how can I implement this? Server needs client interface jar
file, ans client needs server interface jar file at compile time.
(Important: I do not use any HTTP server from which I can load _Stub
    classes at runtime)
I don't like this architecture at all and therefore think that there
may be better solutions. One solution may be to poll the state of the
server from the clients periodically, so that there is no need for
callbacks. But that is also not the perfect solution for me.
    Can someone suggest anything else?
Any idea will be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you

    Hello guvener
Some time ago, I did exactly what you are thinking about. Here was the strategy.
    1. There was a server program, sitting (obviously) on the server machine, where rmiserver was running. The server class had only a single public method for the calling routines to call.
    2. That public method took, as a parameter, a transaction request. One possible transaction was, "Here is a message for another client." Another possible transaction was, "Listen out for a message for me." For example, a client would call the server with the "listen" transaction or with a "here's a message" transaction.
    3. When the calling method requested a "listen" transaction, the server would enter a "wait" state until it received a message for that particular client.
    4. To prevent blocking, there were three specific strategies:
    (a) The client would call the server with a "listen" transaction in a separate thread.
    (b) There was a "cancel" transaction that would allow a client to cancel its "listen" transaction with the server.
    (c) There was a "close-down" transaction that would allow the server to tell the clients their "listen" transactions had been cancelled, as it was closing down.
This requires thorough and careful planning. However, once the classes are correctly planned, this strategy is elegant and simple and leads to only a small amount of coding. It's also flexible, without any restrictions on how many transactions a client could request at a time.
Do be careful to synchronize where applicable!
    I hope this helps.

  • Restrict cancellation of outbound delivery if goods receipt exist

    Dear All;
I wan to ask you if i have cross company po-post goods issue  in the supplying plant-post goods receipt in the receiving plant.
the problem is my client can cancel goods issue before cancellation of goods receipt that makes negative stock in stock in transit.
how can i restrict cancellation of outbound delivery if the goods receipt exist
    regards

    Hi,
There is NO stock in transit in case of cross company STO and system will allow delivery cancellation even after GR. The standard design is well explained in the note: 25220 - No stock in transit with cross-company purchase orders
If you want to restrict the delivery doc cancellation, you have to go for development. Please check the BAdI: LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC as mentioned in the thread: Re: How to restrict reversal of PGI after GR is made for a Inter company STO
