SAP BOE 3.1 Installation

Hi Experts,
I have installed SAP BOE 3.1 on Windows 2008 server. I am not able to open CMS and Infoview in IE8. Is BO compatible with IE8?
I would also like to install CR2008, Xcelsius, Integration Tool Kit, Live Office and Widgets. Is my order of Installation right?

Hi,
We are running IE 8 and there should not be issue with IE 8.
Yes the order is ok. Make sure you also install latest Service Packs and Fix Packs for the siad products.
What error message you are getting when you access CMS or CMC and InfoView?

I can confirm that in SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 the Integration Kit is integrated in the main product and that there is no separate install for it.
I believe you should be able to access the manuals for SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 on service.sap.com.

Is there anything latest on SAP WAS J2EE server installation on Windows Vista. In SDN download section I see SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version available with Vista compatibility.

The problem with J2EE is the support status of the used JDK. Sun does not support 1.4.2 under Vista/Windows 2008, technically it works.

After SAP GUI 7.10 installation over WIn Server 2003 Ent. + SP2. When I try to open new link or window with right click in IE7 this process starts but cannot display anything in new window. At the same time link is correct. Could you please help me?!

FSL 0001 error in SAP NetWeaver '04 SR01 installation

I have a problem while I'm installing SAP NetWeaver '04 SR01 installation Abap system, central installation.
I hace Oracle 9 and Windows 2003 Server. I'm installing locally. I'm installing from the hard disk (D:) and the drive E is the DVD Drive (but i'm not using it)
The installation give me the following error:
FSL-00001 System call failed. Error 267 (The directory name is invalid.
) in execution of system call 'GetTempFileName' with parameter (E:/), line (328) in file (synxcfsmnt.cpp).

I have been experiencing the same problem exactly for the last 2 days.
If you did not find any solution yet, here is the solution that worked for me perfectly.
if you are installing from your hard drive, check your cd/dvd drive if there is any cd or dvd in there, if so remove it and re-install the central instance.
YOUR CD/DVD DRIVE SHOULD BE EMPTY, all the way your installation
It should work.

You are right Eyal, CRM5.0 is only available in ramp-up for the moment. It means that only customers which are taking part to a ramp-up program have access to CRM5.0 actually.

can i add a Splash Screen to the SAP B1 DE Simple Installer ?
if yes how to do it.
when i deploy my addons i want the installer to accept an installation serial & install the addons only if the serial key entered in valid.

Hi Ketan,
You can add as many screens as you like in the simple installer. You only need to open the generated project and add you screen as the other steps already there. To desing your screen you only have to manage with .NET windows design.

Im installing SAp Gui 7.10 and after running .exe file im getting the following error.
This SAP patch cannot be applied. Either the installed components are already on the same patchlevel or the components the components to be patched are not yet installed at all.

请问, 如何才能在SDK中通过SAP的登陆方式来登陆BOE ?
如果无法做到,那我该如何通过SDK代码来编写一个JSP文件来代替OPENDOCUMENT的功能(必须使用SAP用户的登陆方式, 其他登陆方式不能满足我的某个特殊需求)??
