SAP BRTOOLS first time setup

Hi, I have been post my question couple of times, long time ago, I am really happy if someone give me right answer
I having problem in BRTools setupu2026
1. In Production BR Tools working file, so I have to setup in QA system, I just change init<SID>.sap profile path C:\oracle\BQA\database\initBQA.sap
2. I am not sure where should I changed I just changed only path but when I schedule DB13 its getting an error path didnu2019t found outu2026
My question is how to normal or simple setup for BR tools or Oracleu2026
Please tell me step by stepu2026

Sorry, I could not understand. Why did you change the path? Where did you change ?
BRTOOLS executables will be there in usr/sap/SYS/exe/run folder. You will find exec like brarchive.exe
brrestore.exe ,brbackup.exe, brconnect.exe, brspace.exe etc. When you invoke the command "BRTOOLS" from the command prompt those are the executable actually work for you.
Revert back the changes whatever you made and then invoke "BRTOOLS" from command prompt of database server ( login as SIDADM)

How to go back to first time setup assistant?

Hi, 1st time mac user. I just missed to migrate my PC data to my MBA during the first time setup. As I wanted to keep my mails and it's setting from my PC to the initial mac user account, is restoring my MBA to it's factory setting the only way?

In the end, I did a clean install (factory default) and start all over again.
Since then, I've been pretty much disarray as I found out half of my outlook mails didn't get port over.

IPad 2 7.0.4 randomly goes back into first time setup

I have had my iPad 2 for 2 years now and I've been very happy with it, however last week I installed 7.0.4 and it forced my iPad to go into the first time setup (like what you see when you restore) and I lost all my settings, but I thought it was a one time thing the update wanted. Now, I picked it up and it wanted to go over the setup again, and again it deleted all my settings and apps. No one has touched it other than me, and the last time I used it was to listen to some music yesterday. The iPad had 75% battery when I picked it up and at no time did the battery die on it. This is very frustrating and it all started when I updated to 7.0.4.
Has anyone else see this and if so what can I do to stop it?

Back it up and restore it through iTunes.

Problems with first time setup

Hi to all and please be kind to this new applee. I am vary familar with Windows but not Apple.
I am having problems with first time setup. Choice wifi network ZAJ34 has full connectino bars but requires a password to connect with it. Tried to use "Connect to iTunes" and plugged in the USB cable. Windows7 ran ok and "MyComputer\Apple iPod" shows up in Explorer. All I get to is the screen that shows the cable pointing to the music symbol. I am new to Applie iPod so I am totally lost. I have the Apple iPod touch 8GB Black (4th Generation) CURRENT MODEL.
Operating System - iPod touch User Guide (For iOS 5.1 Software) downloaded, not sure.

Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes. [How? I am not past selecting a network.]
Back up your device. [Do not know how, again, I am not past selecting a network.]
Transfer and sync content to your computer. [Hooked up the USB cable and nothing happens.]
Restoring your iOS device
Connect your device to your computer. [Hooked up the USB cable and nothing happens.]
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices. Select the Summary tab, and click the Restore button. [iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices, is it in Control Panel. I looked in Device Manager and so only drivers etc.

TM - first time setup - no back disk listed

I am trying to setup my time machine for the first time. But when I clicked on the "Choose Backup Disk" option, there were no disks listed. I also had an external disk attached but still was not recognized. Both my internal and external disks were not listed. Does anybody know why this is so? Can anybody help?

Your drive needs to be formatted correctly. To do so, open *Disk Utility* located in Utilities, and select you external drive you want to use. Then select the erase tab and choose the "Volume Format:" as *Mac OS Extended (Journaled)*. Then click "Erase..." (Note: This will erase all data of your selected drive). Upon completing the reformat, Time Machine should automatically ask you if you want to use the disk as the backup drive. If not, then go back to the Time Machine System Preference and select the drive now.

Skype always starts as first time setup

Hello Skype Community,
Quite recently my skype started behaving wierd. Everytime I boot my PC skype starts (as usual). Normally it logs in automaticly, because the auto sign in option is selected however it did not.
When I logged in it looked exactly like the time when I started skype for the first time (setting up a mic, webcam and profile picture etc.). And it seems to do it EVERY time I log in to skype (and everytime my PC boots).
I assume its something with my antivirus, because the problem occured when I changed it (I moved from avast free version to Malwarebyte premium version).
Is there a way to solve it?

The behaviour in the latest Skype 7.8 version has now changed. Skype does no longer remember the last connection status. When restarted manually, it will always start with Online status, regardless what status was set when Skype was closed last time. http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/Skype-forgets-last-online-status-when-signing-in/m-p/4085542#M363164 I have not yet tested how Skype behaves when set to start when Windows starts, but also the Away status might be the new "feature" of the latest Skype 7.8 version.

NB305 first time setup display too big for screen

I just bought an NB305-310 netbook (two, actually, and the first one had no trouble). It came loaded with Windows XP. When I turned it on I wasn't able to set it up right away, when I came back to it, I found the display of the welcome screens and the setup process assistant is too big for the screen, as if it thinks it has to fill a 15" or 17" screen instead of 10". So I can't see to click on the "I agree" box or the "Next" button etc., so can't proceed through the setup.
I already tried restarting it a couple times (by holding down the power key, since Control-Alt-Delete didn't do anything). I also tried using the function key with various keys that looked like they might affect display size but no change. Even the volume function keys didn't change the volume of the setup background music that plays.
How can I fix this?

Try this. Press Alt + Spacebar to open the control menu (which may be off the screen) at the top-left of a window.
Then press M (for Move).
That will enable you to move the window using the arrow keys.
When you get the chance, you'll want to go here and reset the screen resolution to 1024 x 600.
Control Panel > Display > Settings tab > Screen resolution slider

Time capsule not recognized by airport extreme - first time setup challenge

Air port utility not recognizing time capsule. We have airport extreme and time capsule (recent purchase to back up 2 wireless mac laptops and the G5 which is connected to the modem). Modem is conected to airport extreme and I connected the Time capsule via ethernet as I thought the speed would be 1GB and faster than wireless "n." Somehow now the airport extreme does not recognize the time capsule. In the network utility, airport is not listed, only ethernet and firewire. What steps should I take to enable time capsule to back up the laptops wirelessly as well as the G5 (non-wireless.) Thanks!

I would hold the reset button on the back of the Time Capsule for 5-10 seconds and I would wait to connect it to the AirPort Extreme to see if you can set it up. If you can access the Time Capsule with AirPort Utility then I would plug it into the AirPort Extreme and continue your setup.

BlackBerry Z10 stuck "Checking for updates" first time setup.

I have just bought the Z10 and it keeps getting stuck while checking for updates. I have rebooted it a few times, taken the battery and sim card out and then rebooted it a few times with no success. What should I do?

I have the same problem. I just ordered my phone, is new, the setup is not even completed and is stuck for hours now on "Checking for updates". I have a Z10 smatphone and I am really upset! I tried restarting it, remove battery.. nothing helped.. Please give me an idea about what to do!

First time setup

After many years in Windows environment I just purchased the latest MaC Mini and tried setting it up with a new AOC e1649Fwu Monitor(Connects through USB only) and a new Microsoft Wireless Desktop 2000 KB and mouse. Unfortunately the mini does not recognise the monitor. I could guess the keyboard is working because the mini was responding to F1 key, the voiceovers were not in English so could not follow. Not sure whether mouse was recognised. I have the Monitor drivers available but in the absence of a display I could not proceed on the setup and powered off the system by pressing the power on key.
I dont have any other monitor available with me though I have a laptop as well as an iPad. Any suggestions/pointers on how to set up the mini will be highly appreciated.

I do not know how you can install a monitor driver without an active monitor.

First time setup - how to change name...

Here's the deal. I bought my brother in law Macbook Pro and when I bought it the feller in the shop helpfully helped me set it up. At the time I did not know my brother in laws apple ID so I used mine. I used my name too. Now - I worked out hot to register it again with his Apple ID.. BUT he still gets my name popping up from time to time. For example when he makes a movie or slide show he tells me that the slide show or movie tells him that I made it - not him...how to change this name?

Make sure you have changed the name under the Accounts Preference pane in System Preferences. Without deleting the account and recreating it or using some command line fancy footwork, you can't completely change over the name, since your folders will still be under the old name because they were created that way, but you can change the log on name and such from there. Also, make sure until Sharing, you have changed the computer's name if that bugs you too.

Playbook First time setup

I bought a Playbook over a week ago and i have not been able to set it up. At the first attempt the playbook downloaded the software update up to about 143 MB before the internet failed. Since the i have been having the following error "Could not connect to update server (3000) or (2011)" I would like to know if someone else has had a similar experience and what can be done to fix it. First Time Setup Sync

Hello,
I have just taken delivery of my shiny new 3GS but am stuck at work!!!
I want to get going ASAP but dont want to connect my phone to my work PC for the first sync if it will cause long term problems... Does anyone know if it matters which PC it is connected to for the first sync?

No, it doesn't matter. Note than any music you load at work will be erased when you sync at home. If you just want to activate it, go for it, then add your content at home. Have fun!
