Hallo Friends,
I dont know if its the right fourm to ask this question, excuse me!
Can any one please let me know the transcation code for creating the SAP BP.
I actually want to create the SAP BP and then wana display their information through calling BAPI. But I am unable to find the screen to create the SAP BP.
Also please help me in identifying how to find the transcation code.

Hi Marek,
I think there is not one special TCODE to create Business Partners. Thru the menu you'll find the TCODES going to Logistics->Sales&Distribution->Master Data->Business Partner.
There you'll find
V+21 for the sales prospect
VD01 for the customer
VAP1 for the contact person
V+23 for the sales partners
V-11 for the forwarding agent
VP11 for the sales personnel
V+22 for the competitor ....

Tips required for SAP XI online training from SAP eductaion partner?

Hi,
Recently I have registered for SAP XI course through online from SAP education partner. I would like to have some advice/share some experience to me for taking the online course effectively am a working person and will be able to spend only 2.5 hrs daily. SAP Business Partner usage in SD

Need your help!! We want to utilize the SAP business partner

SPRO-SD-BF-Partner Determination-Set up partner determination
1.First determine the partner determination at Customer master data level and then include the partner at the Customer you have created
2. Now create a partner determination procedure,at sales document header level.
3. When you create an order, these partners will be automatically updated in the sales order.

Error when posting Idocs From XI to SAP by Partner Profile

Hi all.
i have a problem. all my inbound IDocs in R3 use PP(Partner Profile) LS_XID.
but i need to send IDoc MATMAS by a diferent PP (LS_MATERIALS).
So, i added a new BS in transaction BD54.
In transaction BD64 re-desing the Distribution Model as follow
SL_130 (R3 DES)
> LS_MATERIALS (XI)
|> MATMAS.
In transaction WE20 define the new PP LS_MATERIAL. In inbound table add the MATMAS IDoc. Later imust delete de MATMAS IDoc from LS_XID list. same as transaction BD64.
My problem is when send the MATMAS to R3. it is still using PP SL_XID, so IDoc get status 56 (EDI: Partner Profile Inbound not Available) in R3.
Why?? Any IDea??

SAP Business Partner

Hi Guys,
As we need to have Vendor mapped as Business Partner inTM, Kindly suggest how to handle the Vendor Master in ECC.
Should we create Vendor as Business Partner in ECC so as to interface with TM. If so, then how can we use this vendors in ECC for creating PO and Invoice Verification, It means that can we extend the business partner to purchasing and accounting level?

Hi Kiran,
The TSP (Transport Service Provider ) /Vendor will be maintained in the Transaction code BP in ECC.
This needs to be done, so that Service POs can be created in ECC, where the Vendor will be the TSP. I am using TM 8.0

when I use the addresses from the BAS in the interactive forms, I have noticed that in the properties window on the buttom I can enter values for SAP Business Partners.
What are these Business Partners? (just out of curiousity as I don't normally work with them)

'Maintenance is only possible via Organization Management'

I normally create this relationship in the organizational model (old transaction PPOMA_CRM and also somewhere in the WebUI). There you can assign persons to organizational units. You normally do this to group your sales reps.

There was a requirement from my client that they need to have a filed "Doing Business as " in BP category ORGANIZATION.
I was not able to find the field in SAP BP. How can I really confirm if this field is delivered by SAP before I say we need to do ABAP level coding?
My lead tells me it is available in CRM. I am working in SAP INSURANCE solutions.

Set territory for busniess partner

I am importing business partners using excel i.e
Administrator ->Data import/export - > Data Import -> Import from Excel -> BP
All the default fields are getting imported properly.I want to import territory of business partner.I added territory in the list of columns and imported it.But the code of business partner is getting replaced by terriotory.The terriotory field is blank and I can see territory name at code.

The Territory Field is not available for mapping in the Excel Import option you are trying. Only limited fields are exposed through this option for import.
You might have to import this data using DTW. DTW seem to be the only option in this case.
Please remember, when you do the field mapping in DTW, you will need to enter the <b>territryID</b> not the <b>Name</b>. Similar to Sales Person code.
territryID can be found in OTER table. Please query this table to get territryID.

SAP Busniess One and legally blind users

I am working with a company that employs legally blind users. As we already know, when you have a windows application, we can use the "Ease of Use" tools to help these users. These tools will include zooming (magnify), and text to voice notification of cursor location, defaults, choices, etc.
If anyone has tried using the voice tool in B1, you will know that it does not readily or properly identify fields and valid values within the application. This leaves this as a mostly useless tool.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions with tools to help blind users navigate B1?

SAP Business One Partner Certification Question

We are going for SAP B1 partner certification. I wanted to check if it is must to DI API calls only. or Can I make queries to db. If anybody has any experience, please let me know.
I am trying to build a general ledger report for B1 by writing plugin to B1. I am using C#.
The question I have is that can I use db queries directly or I need to call DI API's only for the partner certification to clear.

Usually you should try to use the API. But it's ok to use db queries as long as they don't change the data (e.g.: SELECT statements).

Im missing the functionality -read only- at the authorisation to change the Business Partners

I have implemented the same in SAP B1 2005B, what I did is
I have given the Read Only authorization for Business Partner and I have given the Full Authorization for BP Type (under Busniess Partner) Customer and Lead
So, when the specific user logs into the system and open the Business Partner Master screen, the Add option will be disabled for the user and in find mode he/she can find only the Customer or Lead. And after that when he/she chose any BP, he/she can only view.
