SAP Buyer's list

Hi,
How do i update the SAP buyer's list? Is there any transaction for this? There are certain buyer's who are no longer working with us and hence we need to update the list to the current. Please reply

Do you mean to say "Purchasing Group"
You can add/delete the Pur. Grp by doing SPRO > Materials Management >Purchasing > Create Purchasing Groups,

Hi there!
So I was looking at the most recent version of the SAP IDM Connector List, and I don't see BI or BOBJ. Can anyone provide best practices information on connecting / working with these systems? We are considering leveraging AD for Authentication and Authorization.

AFAIK there is no direct provisioning from IdM 7.2 to BO. In my current project the BO access rights are delivered via AD groups. BI is just an ABAP system.
It was possible to map the BO access rights agains BI-privileges. But AD was chosen as that enabled SSO-login to BO.
Your BO/BI/authorization-folks should know how the mapping of access rights works.

How to do a Search help on SAP structure field listing custom table data?

i have a SAP screen (Trans KE52) that they want to have a drop down (search help on).
The drop down should list values from a custom table.
How do you do this?
The values to be displayed are NOT from a structure table but from a transparent table. i believe I will need a search FM to do this but not sure how it is to be done.
Any one have ideas?

Hi Scott,
You need to go to SE11 and look for a searh help that match your requirment or build one.
In case you are going to develop one, in the definition tab of the search help look for the selection method and put in the input field the name of your transparent table.
After that you must specify the fields that you need to appear at the list and the one that is going to be selected for your field. This step you have to do it on the search help parameter grid.

Changes in SAP b1 price list is not reflecting in webtools

Hi,
I have 5 price list in SAP B1 and it is synchronized with web tools so i am able to generate sales orders for a customer with same price whether from B1 or web tools. Now I have defined 5 new price list in B1 and changed default pricelist on customer card in SAP B1 and synchronized. While generating Sales order from webtools I am still getting the old price list. Any reason for this?

Are you logged into the commerce site as someone from that Business Partner?
You might have a force an update of that BP to Web tools, by simply changing some data then changing it back. Sometimes changing the pricelist on the BP doesnt trigger the synch to notice that data has changed, and it therefore is not queued to be synched.
So on the BP Master Data, you can add a space onto the end of the name, and then immediately delete it, thereby causing the "OK" button to change to "Update". This will force the BP record into the queue to be synch'd and the next time the synch runs it will synch that BP, including it's new pricelist assignment.
Also, just to double check that the items whose pricing you are testing do actually have special prices on that pricelist. Sounds obvious I know, but with so many items it can be an easy detail to miss.

From SAP Menu Hit List

Hi all,
This is my first post, so bear with me. I'm creating roles in ECC 6.0. I've been given a list of tcodes that need to be added to these roles. The way I've been told to do this is to click on 'From SAP Menu' and then find every single instance of where this tcode is located in the menu. I then click on them one by one, hit find next, and keep going until they're all there. Then it takes me back to the main Menu screen. I then hit 'Collapse Menu' to clean up the Role menu.
My question is, what is the quicker way of doing this? When I click on 'From SAP Menu' and then type in a tcode to search for, there's a button that says 'Hit List." That brings up a separate box that gives you a list of how many times that transaction is found in the SAP Menu. Is there a way to import that list into the search screen so that all instances of that tcode are marked to be inserted into the Menu list?

Hi Kerri,
If you are given with the list of tcodes to be added, then go to Menu.
Click on the "Transaction", Enter the transactions given to you and once you are done with this, click on "Assign Transactions".

Italy SAP spesometro customer list error

Hello
The customer list produced from SAP(tcode ITVCL) is send electronically through the “Agenzia delle Entrate tools”.
The file is errored out as some customers dont have "Street Number" as their address is in POBox. The Italian authorities have “Street Number field” as mandatory.
the message is as below
Quadro FN - Operazioni con soggetti non residenti Modulo 106
FN002 - Denominazione / Ragione sociale - Se indicata la denominazione, la
città estera, il codice stato estero e l'indirizzo estero della sede legale sono
obbligatori
Did anyone come across this issue. i checked all SAP notes and couldnt find any useful information.

Not Able to see SAP systems in List of Available SAP Systems for Crystal R

Hi All,
We have installed Crystal reports 2008 and SAP integration KIt client software on my machine. I am trying to create Crystal reports based on the BI query and I could see SAP Connections in the 'Create new connections list' but not able to see any SAP systems in the list of 'Available SAP Systems'.
How to Add SAP systems to this list.

1. Define an environment variable (user or system) with the name SAPLOGON_INI_FILE . This variable should contain the path to your saplogon.ini file including the file name eg. if the saplogon.ini resides in the folder c:\windows the variable should contain the following value c:\windows\saplogon.ini
2. Open your saplogon.ini file using Notepad and go to File->Save as. Choose All Files in the field Save as type and DO NOT change the name of the file. In the field Encoding make sure that UTF-8 is selected.

SAP Query: ABAP List Only

hello friends,
how do i hide the "Output format" box from the UI of my SAP query?
i would just want a query that would automatically have an ABAP List output without users having to choose other layouts (meaning the "Output format" is not seen on their end)?

however, i would want my users to see the selection screen, but not the Output Format window (where you can select a variety of layouts).

SAP PM - Task List Formatting

Dear PM Gurus,
I have a Task list in WORD format.
I copy and paste in IA05 (long text).
But , when i print preview from IA06, i dont get the same format I pasted from my word doc, instead it defaults to normal text.
please see attached docs.
1st : Is the word doc i copy and paste in IA05 long text option with columns.
2nd : Is the print preview format i m getting from SAP without any table formats.
Is there any way where i can get the same format as in word from SAP print preview.
PLease guide me on this...

If you don't have the possibility to go for an ABAP solution, then you could attach the Word document to the reference object of the maintenance item and indicate in the task list, that the technician shoud open the reference object and print it from the attachments.
It's quite simple, because you can store a link to a network drive & the technician can open/print the document needed.

SAP ADOBE PART list -Can we disable parts and make it a single PDF

SAP came up with this New ADOBE spool technology .
I have used and generated this PDF spool using FP_JOB_OPEN but PDF is shown as PART LIST by default.
Is there any way we can disable this?
Because my user wants to see all parts in a single PDF (Single Part)

1) You cannot get rid of the Incoterm on the Auctions object without writing custom query
2) If you want to default some inco-term as none, create that, remove the rest and have that defaulted using Auction Templates

Auditing SAP Application - users lists

Hello everybody,
i am trying to find a way to report a list of users that have the following authorizations:
u2022     access to administrative tasks
u2022     access to batch input administration
u2022     access to monitoring tools and logs
u2022     access to promote to production
u2022     access to table access
u2022     access to user management
It is obvious according to SOx compliance (security purposes) that this access should be restricted to a group of users. So i have to retrieve the data of SAP application to solve my wonder.
could anyone tell me what should i do? which authorization objects and values should i use to create each report?

SAP Query:Error 'List is wider than 255 characters '

Hi all,
i m new in SAP Query.
one query is already done.
one change is come out.
requirement is - Add one extra column
when i m going to add one extra coulumn and test it then message is come out.............
List is wider than 255 characters (generation not possible)
Message no. AQ255
Diagnosis
You attempted to define a query where the line width of the generated list is greater than 255 characters.
You define the line width on the Title, Format screen which permits a maximum width of 255 characters. However, when defining statistics and ranked lists, you can implicitly increase this value, since the lines cannot be broken up. This is the case here. An implicit increase in the width of the list would result in a list wider than 255 characters. For this reason, the query cannot be executed.
Procedure
Check which of the statistics or ranked lists is responsible and modify it so that the resulting list width is no greater than 255 characters.

There is limitation of 255 characters .. can we extend that .
When we check by editing program in sq01 it show only 255 character limitation .

SAP PM Task List

Dear Experts
I have the following client requirement
In the Instrumentation Department there are many Transmitters of different ranges(0-200, 0-300,0-10 etc). They will calibrate those equipments in the following manner
let us take an example of transmitter of range 0-200deg
First they will give the value of 0deg to the transmitter and check the output. it must be in the range of -1 to 2. next they will give the value of 25 deg and check the output It must be in the range of 23 to 26. In the same manner they will check for 50deg, 75deg, 100deg. Like that they will check for different equipments of different ranges. So How can i map this process in sap for calibration process. I am new to sap So I am requesting to help me.

Create MIC in QS21 for 0 deg, 25 deg, 50 deg, etc., such as wherever you want to check the reading. Keep description appropriately which shows the input degree. Maintain the lower limit, upper limit & target value for that MIC. MIC should be as Quantitative.
Create Task List (IA01 / IA05) separately for different range equipment & mention one operation as Transmitter Calibration and assign the desired MIC to that operation. Mention Inspection Point as 300 in Task List header.
Create Calibration Order type by assigning Inspection type 14 to that. OR use PM06 order type
Create Calibration Order in IW31 & assign the task list created for that transmitter
While releasing, Inspection lot will be created. Record the results in QA32.
Note: There are many threads discussed about calibration process. So, search in google as "Calibration".
