Hope you all are doing great. I want a clarification, What is the difference between BW-HR Mechanism & BW-Other modules (SD,MM,PP etc).

Now when it is said BW HR. It is the development of BW in the area of HR to meet the clients requirements according to the functional specifications .They may be in any area of HR like in the areas of time aspects ,pay aspects, OM aspects and Self Services like E-recruitment, ESS etc.Logical databases have limited applications in other modules but are very useful in HR. Also, you really need to understand the infotype time constraint concept. When you cannot get the information that you need out of the logical DB look at the function modules starting with HR* and RH*. These function modules will provide you with multiple ways of accessing data to save time.

Round up all values in FI & other modules also

Hi Experts,
We have an requirement that, while posing of any document in SAP, via FI like Cash / Bank / Expenses Voucher or any kind of document / voucher (may be coming from other modules also), the Decimal Points should not appear or value should be rounded up to nearast rupees.
Eg. if Amount is 145.32 the posting of the said amount must be 145.00 or 145 only.
Will it be possible to handled in SAP in all module or intially in FI Modules atleast.
Please provide support.

Hi,
Go to SPRO - A/R & A/P - outgoing payments - outgoing payments globally settings - Define Account for Rounding Differences.
You can also define tolerances, The system will automatically will accept the differences.

as far as I know there is no book on SAP Healthcare available.
You can enrole into some training (more infos [in this blog|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/7585]), read the online help at [http://help.sap.com] or at best learn it on the job by finding a company which implements or runs IS-H or i.s.h.med.

Deployment of SAP Internet Sales/E Commerce module

Hi All,
Please let me know whether SAP Internet Sales / E Commerce module comes by default in an ECC 6.0 installation.
Also if yes, please provide me with some guides/documents on configurations to be done in ECC for making the SAP IS module functional.

Hi Lisha,
You will not get SAP Internet sales Software Components while installing ECC, You need to deploy sca files externally.
You need to download sca files from service market place.

Goto Downloads -> SAP Software Distribution Center -> select Search for Support Packages and Patches
try to get below sca files using search key:
eg: for SAP-SHRJAV.sca file search with shrjav

Hi,
Go for SAP HCM. Eventhough Oracle is taking over many companies, SAP still prevails.
My suggestion is that, first you try to get a job in your domain. It's better if you join a company who practices SAP. So that, you can have first hand experience on the SAP HCM/HR.
Then try doing the Certification.
You would have taken certification, if you were a fresher. As such you have 3+ years exp.
Generally for any job opportunity, employer will look for the candidate who is currently working if he is not a fresher.
While you working you can get certification with eLearning. Now so many institutions are offering this. Also, the fees is 50% less.

Integration Of SD With Other Module

Dear All
Plz tell me the integration of Sale & Distribution module with other module and thier impact

The link between SD and MM :-
1. When you create sales order in SD, all the details of the items are copied from Material master of MM.
2. MRP and availibility check related data is also taken from MM although you control this data in SD also.
3. While you create inbound/outbound delivery with reference to a sales order,the shipping point determination takes place with the help of the loading group, plant data, shipping conditions etc. This also refers to Material Master.
4. The material which you are entering in a sales order must be extended to the sales area of your sales order/customer otherwise you cannot transact with this material.
There are many such links between SD and MM.
Now the link between SD and FI :-
1. Whenever you create a delivery with reference to a sales order, goods movement takes place in the bacgground. eg. In case of standard sales order, you create an outbound goods delivery to the customer.
Here movement 601 takes place. This movement is configured in MM. Also, this movement hits some G/L account in FI. Every such movement of good s hits some G/L account.
2. The accounts posting in FI is done with reference to the billing documents (invoice, debit note, credit note etc) created in SD. Thus this is a link between SD and FI
3. Tax determination: In case of a tax determination also, there is a direct link between SD and MM

Complaints Processing
Implementation Considerations
You can process complaints in the following ways:
Example 1: The customer returns the goods. You create a return to process the transaction.
- If the customer wants a refund for the amount, enter a credit memo with reference to the return.
- If the customer wants a replacement product, enter a free-of-charge subsequent delivery with reference to the return.
Example 2: The customer does not send the goods back.
- If the customer wants a refund, you enter a credit memo request with reference to the sales order or the invoice.
- If the customer wants a replacement product, you create a free of charge subsequent delivery with reference to the sales order.
Example 3: The price is wrong.
For example, the discount was forgotten or the scaled prices were miscalculated. You then enter an invoice correction request with reference to the invoice.
Example 1
You sent the customer 100 pieces. The customer sends 30 back because they were damaged during transport. You create a return for 30 pieces and then either a credit memo or a free-of-charge delivery with reference to the return.
Example 2
The customer reports that a further 10 units were so damaged that they threw them away. You enter either a credit memo request or a free of charge subsequent delivery with reference to the sales order or invoice.
Example 3
100 units were calculated at 10 USD per unit for the customer. However, due to a promotion they should have been calculated at 9 USD per unit. You enter an invoice correction request with reference to the invoice and enter the price as 9 USD per unit.
Prerequisites
Process Flow
You decide which one of the above scenarios is most similar to the type of complaint you are processing.
Enter the appropriate sales document, with or without reference to an order or invoice.
You can change the settings in Customizing so that the sales document is automatically blocked for a delivery or billing. This means that the system does not create a free-of-charge delivery or a credit memo until you have had the opportunity to check the goods or clarify the complaint.
Once you have checked the goods or clarified the situation, you can:
- Approve the complaint by releasing the sales document.
- Reject the complaint by entering a reason for rejection in the sales document.
If you do not need any release procedures for credit memo requests, you can also create a credit memo with reference to an invoice. In this case, you do not need either the credit memo request or its release.
Result
Once you have released the sales document, you can create a delivery or a credit memo.
Special Order types
Cash sales is an order type for when the customer orders, picks up and pays for the goods immediately. The delivery is processed as soon as the order has been entered. A cash invoice can be printed immediately from the order and billing is related to the order. Receivables do not occur for the customer as they do for rush or standard orders, because the invoice amount is posted directly to a cash account.
In a rush order transaction, the customer picks up the goods or you deliver the goods on the same day as the order is placed. In the standard system, when you save this sales document type, a delivery is automatically created and billing is related to the delivery.
Basis guys help in configuring the landscape, moving the request, scheduling and maintainence of batch jobs which run in the background, server maintenance. Basis is kind of heart for any project and they work 24*7 continuous.

Infotypes mirror a quantity of connected data records; infotypes are identifiable through a four character numerical string .
You can save the infotypes as time-dependent to enable a retroactive evaluation of Employee data.
The infotypes appear as an entry screen for the user, through which you can maintain infotype records. Infotypes can be processed individually or in fast entry mode.

Data flow form 80 to 85% from sd module.
it is in costing based copa while billing happened in sd.
data like sales qty, sales revenue , Cogm flow to Copa with the help of assignment of values condition types with correct value fileds.
form cost center to copa
through copa assessment some admin cost which is not directly proportionate to production and selling distribution cost will flow to copa.
when u do settlement for production order al the standard variance will flow to copa.
and some the values through FIMM intergration.
some the important data like plan values or actual values for raw material it picks form the material master.
i hope this partial information will clear ur douts.
