SAP BW : Problem with precalculation job on WebTemplate depending on user

Hi experts,
We have a problem with the precalculation job on WebTemplate. When we schedule this job with a specific user, the job run normally and precalculation is done on step 3 :
Step 003 started (program RSRA_JOB, variant , user ID E0126831)
Start package ZBWP_SCHEDULE_TEMPLATE
- Start setting ZBWP_WAD_001 with variant -
Precalculation: initialization started
Precalculation: processing started
Precalculate data (fill DataStore)
Processing data provider DATAPROVIDER_1, query ZBWP_IS01_001
Processing data provider DATAPROVIDER_10, query ZBWPM_016
Processing data provider DATAPROVIDER_11, query ZBWPM_016
But when we change the user to a technical user (like BATCH or ALEREMOTE which have the profile SAP ALL ), the job don't do any precalculation in step 3 :
Step 003 started (program RSRA_JOB, variant , user ID ALEREMOTE)
Start package ZBWP_SCHEDULE_TEMPLATE
- Start setting ZBWP_WAD_001 with variant -
Implementing settings finished

Hi,
Try to trace the log files in RSRD_LOG and also check files in C:TEMP.The precal server trace files will be stored in the subdirectory of C:TEMPBWAnalyzer .

Sometimes this service hangs and a minus value (such as -83452 sec) appears in the column "Next run".
What can I improve?

Problem with database job

Good day.
I am trying to help our DBA figure out the problem with the database job that I created. It runs perfectly in the database which we use for development purposes. However, when we put the job in the production database, we encountered some problems.
The first problem we encountered was this: after the job executed at the scheduled time, the NEXT_DATE field for that job becomes 00/00/0000.
After our DBA tinkered with some parameters in the db config, the next problem we encountered was this: the job executed every minute even if the interval specified is for it to execute once a day, everyday.
We still have not resolved any of these problems. I am just doing a workaround, a manual one, just so we could proceed with our processing.
Btw, we are using Oracle8.

Using Toad, I got these parameters pertaining to db job:
job_queue_interval=60
job_queue_keep_connections=FALSE
job_queue_processes=8

Problem with the job "JOB SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_NONE_R3_STAT"

The "JOB SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_NONE_R3_STAT" is listed as one of the standard SAP housekeeping jobs. When we run it in our systems, it finishes without an error in SM37 but we see the following error in the application log SLG1 :
Determination of component from SCR (CCMS system component repository) failed :
The system cannot determine the components for which the component collector is to be started. The cause is missing data in the CCMS System Component Repository (SCR). Either the SCR has not been filled or it contains no information about the components that write statistics records.
It says it requires user CMSREG to be created and background method dispatching of the CCMS Monitoring architecture must be activated in RZ21 > Technical Infrastructure
Do you know what benefits this job has? Does it make sense if we have Solution Manager? For Accounts where it is done, how much work is involved in setting up the SCR?
Please help in solving this issue.

A user with specific, greatly restricted authorizations is required to monitor remote systems for the monitoring architecture using CCMS agents. We recommend that you create and use the user CSMREG for this purpose. CSMREG is also used to register a System Component Repository (SCR) with a central repository.
The CSMREG user must be created in all monitored systems; it is not created automatically.
Procedure
       1. Choose CCMS Configuration Alert Monitor, or call transaction RZ21.
       2. Choose Technical Infrastructure Configure Central System Create CSMREG User.
       3   Enter any password for this user. You require it, among other things, for the installation and registration of CCMS agents.

Problem with execute job's in schedule

I have 88 job in workspace shedule, and a need to run them, but when I run together, I get the following problem with more than half of them:
"ERROR: Internal error.BIService could not be acquired! Submitting job Tasa de Asignacion to Event Service for Retry Processing. {3}"
I was thinking of separating, but I do not know when it ends as a block and make another start.
is possible to do this?

this error message shows that the jobs are failing and again put for retrying in the queue.
We can set a job limit which will ensure that only some number of job will run....I can give you further details if you can specify the version and also the error which is causing the job to fail

Problem with Jabber and file transfers WAN - LAN-Users - a solution!

I read a lot of messages about problems with file transfers between iChat-Users, if one (or both) are behind a NAT.
I had this problem to and found an easy solution:
My situation
iChat-Server behind a Netgear ProSafe FireWall. I opened the needed Ports including Port 7777 (the Port for the iChat-proxy (proxy65).
The iChat-Server is configured to host the domain "server.ourdomain.com" (as an example).
This address can be reached from the LAN and also from the WAN-side.
From the LAN-side the DNS redirects to 192.168.1.1, from the WAN this domain redirects to our official IP-address (the WAN-IP of the FireWall).
I tried nearly all kinds of mentioned solutions, but nothing helped.
The really easy solution is: I just added our official IP to the "Hosted Domains" in the iChat-section of Server-Admin.
After that change, the transfers are made via the proxy65 of iChat-Server. The transfers are shown in the log /private/var/jabberd/log/proxy65.log.
I think, that the other posters who also have this kind of problem are working in a similar setup (domain name of server is used from the LAN AND the WAN-side with different IP-addresses (LAN-IP & WAN-IP).
This solution will only work, if the WAN-IP is a fixed address.

I Scheduled Background Jobs in RAR 5.3 ,But the jobs status showing from past 7 days as " Running " Please help me regarding this issue.its very urgent ,because of this problem My SOD report delayed for this month.
Every month it is taking 2 to 3 days to complete the jobs, But this time it is taking 7 day ,so i terminate the jobs and asked Basis team to restart the bg job service to stop the jobs of RAR
Previous months we are using same verient ,But at that time RAR 5.3 with SP13 and 2 threads,Now they changed as per below detals.
I am using RAR 5.3 SP 15 with 4 threads.

My Background Job is Adhoc , This is not the first time doing ,every month i am doing this activity for SOD report (13 BG Jobs)and other reports,last month they updated SP13 to SP15.Now i am facing this issue.once BG Job Service restarted all the jobs running properly ,Why like that.i need root cause for this.

Problems with background job

I have problems when creating a job that is supposed to be run once in background. I use the common steps as described below. My problem is that the report is executed twice.
- First it is executed synchronously when the job is created
- Then it is executed in the normal job step as I want it to do
I don't want it to be executed the first time because it creates data!!!

1. U are right.
2. It will happen if we use SUBMIT.
3. As per the help documentation,
    it will run the program in separate session,
   ( as soon as submit statement comes)
4. and run the INITIALIZATION event.
The VIA JOB addition also loads the program accessed in a separate internal mode when the SUBMIT statement is executed and the system performs all the steps specified before START-OF-SELECTION. This means the events LOAD-OF-PROGRAM and INITIALIZATION are triggered and selection screen processing is performed. If the selection screen is not processed in the background when VIA SELECTION-SCREEN is specified, the user of the calling program can eidit it and schedule the program accessed in the background request using the function Place in Job. If the user cancels selection screen processing, the program is not scheduled in the background job. In both cases, execution of the program executed is completed after selection screen processing and the system returns to the calling program due to the AND RETURN statement.

Other workbooks work fine. I've already created a new precalculation server but it didn't help. Has anyone an idea what could be the cause or why this just happens with this workbook?

Hello All,
When you have an issue with a single workbook, try to open and re-save this workbook.
This is probably happens with Chrigu. Someone opened the workbook and save again.
Also, another tip.
Open BEx Analyzer -> Click on "Global Settings".
Check the option "Repair workbook while execution" -> click "Ok"
Execute and save the workbook.
This should solve issues with a single workbook.

Filenet Archive to SAP Migration - Problem with DMS_KPRO_CONVERT2

Hi there
We seem to be having an issue with a Filenet RFC to SAP Content Server migration.
We run the report DMS_KPRO_CONVERT and eveything seems to run fine.
When we run DMS_KPRO_CONVERT2 to move the files, we seem to pick up an error:
File /saparchive/DV2/username (where username is my username) cannot be opened
In looking at what is happening, it seems to save the file to the filenet archive exchange directory as the username (with no file extension) however it seems that the system has problems accessing this directly to check the file in to the new repository again and fails.
If I manually check out the file and check it into the sap content server, there is no problem so it doesn't seem to be an issue that either the SAP content server or the filenet server is not accessible.
Any ideas what the issue could be?

I recently replaced Nokia E60 with Nokia E90. Pairing and phone calls work fine. I have a problem downloading phone memory phonebook to the SAP B67876125 from Nokia E90. I can only see the SIM phonebook. This problem did not exist with the Nokia E60 which downloaded the phone memory phonebook with no trouble.

I think that your problem is because N900 is very new device and Parrot should/will make firmware update for MK9100
in case to be compatible with your new mobile.
I have Parrot 3200LS and after installing the newest firmware everything about conection with N900 is fine,
except this - I can only send contacts to Parrot one by one.

OWB 11.2.0.1 SAP LOCATION: Problem with separate FTP Server connection

hope somebody can help me. We are working on a BI Project by our Customer with a Exadata Machine.
The Goal of this project is to have the DWH on the Oracle Exadata machine.
At the Moment we have the Development System on a separate Server with OWB 11.1. and are to get stuck because we can't work with OWB 11.2 with the problem we have.
Separate for the coming Migration we set up for testing a machine with OWB 11.2.0.1 (Exadata is productiv system, so not available for testing)
The SAP System of the customer is on a separate physical Machine as the FTP Server.
The new possibility from the OWB 11.2 SAP Location allowed choose between different transport type, also for a separate FTP Server.
We took FTP as Transport Type and we input the FTP IP Adress, User etc.
The Inputs are all correct, we have also check if its possible to connect the FTP server via fillezilla, via cmd -- all works fine
But OWB 11.2 show us by test the connection this Error:
ENV0032: Location SAP_TEST is invalid. Check that you provided the PASSWORD or+
valid values for at least one of the set of mandatory parameters+
HOST_LOGIN_HOST+
I know that seems as if some is not ok with the password or the other parameters.
But all inputs are correct and the password doesn't contains any special character.
Also the connection to the SAP system works fine with OWB 11.2 but not with the FTP System.

Print job problems with AEBS - jobs don't print until another job is sent

I have been experiencing an anomaly with my printer not printing the last page of multipage documents since getting our AEBS with Gigabit Ethernet. Before getting the AEBSs, I had two Linksys routers that were performing well, but would crash regularly. I recently purchased two AEBS router to replace my two Linksys routers. I have the latest AEBS, and an older AEBS M8799LL/A sometimes referred to as the UFO or Crow’s Nest. My printer is a networkable HP Color LaserJet 2550n.
When the Apple Tech Support person could not get this printer to work when attached to an Ethernet port, they suggested that I attach it to the USB port. I finally got it to work with our Macs, and Windows XP running in Parallels using Bonjour. What we noticed right away was that the printer was taking longer to respond than when we were using it as a network printer under our previous Linksys network. Another thing that happened was that frequently a print job would not appear to have been sent (spooled?) to the printer so we would issue the print command after waiting a couple of minutes and end up with two copies of what we were printing. Yesterday I was printing a basic 5 page text document from Pages and the last page did not print. So I created a document with just a ‘.’ and sent it to the printer. Out came the last page of my five page Pages document and the document with just a ‘.’. The AEBS does appear to be somewhat more stable than our Linksys equipment, but getting printer to work properly has been very frustrating.
Is anyone aware of what might be causing this problem. At first I was blaming Windows, but it is happening very frequently when printing basic documents in Mac OS X 10.4-Tiger. Any help would be very much appreciated.
