SAP-BW Properties not available in Crystal & Missing Context Menu

Dear experts,
Creating a crystal report on a SAP-BW 3.5 query we have the following problem:
In SAP-BW query we defined a restricted key figure with property 'Calculate single value as Ranked list (olympic)'.
Within SAP-BW it works correctly; in Crystal Reports we see the key figure without the defined property.

Could anyone give us an advice to solve this?
We tried to solve this problem within Crystal reports using u2018Calculated Elementsu2019 and got another, more serious problem.
According to Crystal Help and documentation the way to insert a calculated element such as a rank is to click onto an element in a dimension and chose u2018Calculated Elementu2019 -> Add.
Our problem is we donu2019t see this entry within the context menu! Due to the fact that we need this functionality a quick answer to this this question would be highly appreaciated.

Spy menu only showing some items and properties not available

I am having some issues with the spy menu. In order to try and fix my issues I built the menu from scratch again on one of my pages. Everything works now on that page and when I upload it to the server, it is all there.
However, when I then copy and paste the menu to all the other pages and upload the the server, the submenu doen't show anymore. When I go and troubleshoot it and highlight the menu in its entirety and click properties, no properties will show. On the working page, this ation delievers me a properties bar where I can + or - menu items. Why is this? As this must be why the submenu is not showing either?
The page where everything works is this (See sub menu under coaching clinics) http://www.golifecoaching.com.au/go-beyond-registration-test but on every other page on this website, this submenu disappears.
Can anyone help? I am tearing my hair out and don't fancy having to build the menu from scratch for every page. There has to be a better way.
I use CS4 and this is my menu;

Disclaimer: I am new to coding in general and this is my first attempt to help someone.
I think the properties bar with the + - has to do with the javascript coding that is generated when you create a new tag, and it is located near the bottom of the page just before the closing body tag.
looks something like this:

var MenuBar2 = new Spry.Widget.MenuBar("MenuBar2", );
</script>
so dont forget to copy that over too. Also, check the CSS that is associated within each page and make sure they are all in the same style.
P.S. Have you considered using a template for the menu bar so you dont have to copy it over each time?

Adapter Specific Message Properties not available in SP 15

But i am using SP 15 and i am not getting this option in the file to file adapter. Can u please tell me the why its not available.

Hi,
Try reloading SAP BASIS software component version of SP15 only (check ) into repository.This might enable that option in the ftp/file adapter.

Eclipse IDE: missing context menu "JPA"

I want to try out the Generate Custom JPA Entities* feature but the context menu option JPA is missing. I have only JPA Tools (Hibernate tool plugin). I have already installed Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse. I am using the latest Eclipse Java EE IDE (20120216-1857).
I navigated to the project properties dialog, and examined "JPA" settings
Platform: Hibernate (JPA 2.X)
JPA Implementation: Hibernate
Connection: MyOwnConnection
Annotated Classes must be listed in persistence.xml is checked.
Source Folder: src

What perspective are you using? The alternative to context menu is to access via New > Other...

Acrobat X Pro - Windows 7 - Missing context menu

Hi, so I just installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro on a Windows 7 computer and noticed how the context menu "right click" for "Combine PDF files" are missing. Open with Adobe Acrobat X however is there, but when selecting two or more PDF files, this option isn't there anymore. It was before installing Acrobat X from Acrobat 9.3.
I tried regsvr32 for ContextMenu.dll as well as the ContextMenu64.dll, since this is a 64bit Windows 7 computer. I also tried removing the entry from registry. When I ran the regsvr32 again, the registry entry came back. So the registering of the dll seems to be working.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is to restart the computer. Would that be necessary? Or is this option removed from Acrobat X?

do the following to see if you get them back
register the Contextmenu64.dll (if on a 64bit system)
located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat Elements
Open a command prompt as an administrator
type:
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat Elements
hit return
type:
regsvr32 Contextmenu64.dll
hit return
check if these context menu's have returned for supported files.
I had the same issue and this worked for me.

SAP-Exit option not available in Query Designer

Hi,
I'm trying to create a variable in BEx Query Designer that is processed by a SAP-Exit . But I don't have the option "SAP-Exit" in the drop down menu for processing type (from SAP-Help: In the variables editor, choose the processing type SAP Exit from the General tab page.).
Am I missing any rights? Any ideas where the problem might be or is this just not possible at all and I have to use a customer exit?

Hi, I think I didn't explain my problem right:
I'm trying to use a variable in BEx Query Designer created by SAP that will be processed by a SAP-Exit. How can I add a SAP variable in BEx? I thought I have to create an own variable and assign "SAP-Exit" as processing type . But obviously this is wrong as I don't have the option for processing type "SAP-Exit". Any ideas?

Interesting, are you looking in the correct place for the compiler options? Compiler options aren't going to be located under "FPGA Target Properties" as you mentioned previously (sorry I missed this in your first post), rather those options are located under the "Xilinx Options" category when you create an FPGA build spec for compilation.
Right-click on Build Specifications » New » Compilation, then select the Xilinx Options category and you should see a window like this.
Can you confirm that you are looking in this location?

Additional Properties not available

Hello,
I have a problem with SAP Design Studio 1.3 SP1. Normally if you select a CHART component the ADDITIONAL PROPERTIES view appears where you can customize the CHART. But in my case the ADDITIONAL PROPERTIES view is empty there are no options available. How could this be? I hope somebody can help me.

Hi Fabian,
I come across this issue often in Design Studio 1.3 SP1.
Try this..
- Click on the Chart component
- Uncheck Additional properties in the View Menu
- Now click on the chart or any other component
- Re-check Additional properties again in the View Menu
It might sound very silly, but this is what I do to get the issue resolved.

It doesn't matter what you remove, it will doubtless be important to somebody.
Look at the venting people have done lately on the removal of such things as the little note region content displays, the loss of general floating windows and other "minor" things.
Removing the whole environmetn might be no big deal for Person A, but completely unnacceptable to Person B. Heck, I've even seen complaints about the display of two channel strips in the parameters - "Can't we have the option to go back to one?"
Managing features in a large, heavily used professional application is very difficult, because whatever you do will be disliked by a certain per centage of your users.
Even a certain percentage of users would probably not like engineering resources directed into fixing some of these long time obscure things that many people never encounter, and would instead like a shiny new Trance Gate plugin, or vintage console saturation in the mixer, or Melodyn-u-like functionality in the arrange page, and so on.
Ultimately, we have no control, all we can do is vote with our wallets, and send feedback, and voice our opinions on forums like this one, and hope the next version will contain the things that each of us value the most...

Entire drive not available when finding missing folder

I keep my photos on an external hard drive so I can use Lightroom on my laptop and desktop computers.
I just opened up my catalog on my desktop, and as expected all of the pictures as flagged as missing (since the desktop mounts the external drive as a different drive letter than the laptop). I right-click on the folders and select "Find missing folder", however the dialog that comes up only allows me to select folders in my user directory on my C drive. There is no address bar, and none of my other drive partitions or the external hard drive show up as selectable options.
Here is an example of what I mean..

That's an LR bug which I think only affects Windows systems, and is caused by having too many icons on your desktop (no, I'm not kidding). Workaround/fix is either clean up you desktop a little (or a lot), or you can start typing the path to the external drive in the Folder box at the bottom of the dialog box and all will be revealed.

LR 3.4.1 (windows) Print properties not available after reinstalling printer

after re-installing the printerdrivers, I cannot open the properties windows of the printer (HP B8550) in not one of the printer modes, does anybody know what to doe en how to do it? It words fine in other programs such as Word

I should add some additional information: the import within LR results in 2 copies of a folder being created on the disk, but only one of them showing in the Folders Pane. For example, images in the folder <20110601> are imported into a new folder <2011-06-01> which LR creates and is shown in LR in this folder name, while the original folder (<20110601>) remains on the disk, still containing the original of the images, as placed there by PhotoMechanic.
I do not understand this action, nor how LR is choosing the format of the name of the new folder it is creating.

How can I "Save Picture As" from a website - the option is often not available in the right-click menu?

I'm a recent (and generally very satisfied) convert from Internet Exploder. I notice in Firefox, when right-clicking on website images, the available menu options vary and often don't include the "Save Image As" option. Then, using IE, the same image is easily saved... How can this important-to-me task be accomplished as consistently in Firefox?

Thanks. I've seen (and understand) the "save image as" option but that option does not appear for all images. When I then open the same page in IE, it does offer the "save picture as" option, and to my knowledge has never not offered that option. Why is it not consistent in Firefox like it is in IE, or maybe more to the point, how can I make it consistent in Ffx?

Automator will NOT workflows created from Desktop context menu

1. Right Click on desktop
2. Select: More > Automator > Create Workflow...
3. Create a workflow in Automator
4. Save workflow
Workflow remains unsaved, no error message is displayed..

SAP Authentication not available

Hello together!
on a BOE-System (XI 3.1, SP3, FP 3.5) is the SAP Authentication for the InfoView- and the CMC-logon not available. I think the problem is that they haven't installed the SAPJCO correct or did some other mistakes during the installation and configuration process. Until now I tried the following because to install and configurate the system new is not really a opportunity:
check if in the CMC the SAP Authentication is enable
check in the web.xml if the authentication.visible is set to true
copied the sapjco.jar into the Tomcat55\shared\lib and Tomcat55\common\lib
copied the two *.dll from the SAPJCO to the windows\system32 folder
set the classpath
redeployed the Apps: InfoViewApp, InfoviewAppActions, CmcApp, CmcAppActions, PartnerPlatformServices, SAP, OpenDocument and dswsbobje
run the partnercafinstall.bat
and restart the tomcat and the Server Intelligence Agent
Btw the Integration Kit for SAP works - it's just the problem with the missing authentication method.
Another question depending on that problem (maybe) regards the BW Publisher: There is a role for publishing content, this role have the essential rights and the role is added to the corresponding SAP system folder under the SAP structure in the CMC. But if you want to piblish a Crystal Reports report as a BW-User that is a member of the role but is not imported in the CMC you get the error EAS 30001(An error occurred when synchronizing folder hierarchy for role) which means that the user does not have sufficient rights to publish reports. If I put the role to the administrator group everything works fine except that the reports creates a folder structure SAP\2.0\*SYSTEM\New Object11552\New Object11553\REPORT*. Why are the folder "New Object11552" and "New Object11553" created and what's the problem with the rights?
I appreciate any hints what else I can do - because as I mentioned above a complete new-install is not really a opportunity.

yes, the SAP Authentication in the CMC is available and I'm able to import SAP roles - that works absolutely fine; it's just that users can't select the SAP-Authentication method for the logon.

ok, that was also my idea that it is important that the sap user who want's to publish content is imported in the cmc - but because of the problem that the sap authentication is not available at logon that's currently not possible. So, I think if this problem is solved - the problem with EAS 30001 is also gone.

you're absolutely correct - that was the problem! Thanks Ingo! Could you explain what are the steps I have to do to translate the description of a role in transaction SE63 after I created the role in the transaction PFCG or do you have a link with the HowTo for me?
