Hello Fabrizio,
to install the SAP CRM Groupware Connector you need two components.
1. SAP Mapbox which is avaliable on the DVD 51032269 - BS 2005 SR2 Java Components. But I think that you also get the newer "MAPBOX Support Package 12 for CRM 4.0 640" version form http://service.sap.com/patches.
2. Get the latest Version which is currently "Support Package 12 for SAP GROUPWARE CONNECTOR 4.0 " directly from http://service.sap.com/patches. Here you can use the search for "groupware".
Please check all the notes avaliable in the Component CRM-MW-GWI. There's are Groupware Integration Guide at http://service.sap.com/crm-inst.

Could not lcoate the Microsoft Entourage Office Synchronization Tool

I have gone through the posting history and seen this error documented and resolved, but the solutions did not work for me; so I thought I'd lay out my situation to see if anyone could address the issue.
I have a Blackberry Curve (8300) and I am trying to synchronize it with my MacBook Pro, running OS X ver 10.4.11. I am trying to synch with Microsoft Entourage in Office 2008 for Mac.
As recommended in past postings, I have updated to PocketMac ver 4.1.25 and updated the drivers to ver 3.1.3B. This is the latest software on the Blackberry site, and these versions are claimed to address issues with Entourage 2008. I restarted my computer after doing the installations. I also pulled the battery out of my Blackberry and put it back in to reboot the Blackberry.
I have also set my Blackberry and computer to the same timezone as stated in the PocketMac release notes, and I have tried synching with Entourage running and not running, and I have also tried synching with my Blackberry in Mass Storage Mode and not in Mass Storage Mode. With all this, I still get the Synchronization Tool error.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Ahah! I figured out the solution. First of all, thank you to all the people who read my message and at least considered my problem.
My error was that I had opted to sync with EntourageContacts, Calendar, etc. instead of Entourage2008Contacts, 2008Calendar, etc. Apparently there is a difference. For me, I didn't see the 2008 option because the window size was small and I needed to scroll to get to the 2008 option. Bonehead move, but I'm glad it's fixed, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done this. Watch out for it.

Https call from SAP SOAP client tool

Hi,
in order to call a webservice via https using the SAP SOAP client tool, I've done the following:
1. The Client cert field filled with my personal certificate from IE (pcert.pfx)
2. The Trust store field left as it was (cacerts file of the jre).
When calling the service I am getting
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found
Very likely this is caused by setting 2.
Could anybody advise how to get an X.509 certificate of trusted root CAs? Any chance to export from IE or would one have to get that from a CA? File types required are ppfx or p12, which is strange since these contain private keys.

Hi Rene,
You need to include the full certificate chain in the p12 file. i.e. private cert and root CA cert. IE will not export the full certificate path with the private certificate unless it was imported into IE with this flag set. You could use Firefox to generate the pks12 file. It will include the full certificate path.
This private certificate (p12 file) should then be added to the truststore in XI.
Also, .p12 (pkcs#12) file format defines a file format commonly used to store private keys with accompanying public key certificates - not just private keys.

          I am new to SAP widget. I hav installed "Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers" from eclipse.org and now when i was trying to install SAP Widget Developer tool.zip add-on as stated in the SAP Enterprise Widget Development Guide

Hi,
The newest and default version of Eclipse is Galileo which is version 3.5.x
According to the Widget development guide, widget developer tool covers Eclipse 3.3.x (Europa) and 3.4.x (Galileo).
The problem is solved by downloading one of those versions from http://wiki.eclipse.org/Older_Versions_Of_Eclipse and installing widget development tools.

for Installing and Starting SAP Widget Development Tools as an Eclipse Plug-in
I am very new to it, So I was following Step by Step procedure.
On the 16th step I am getting an error:
AP Widget Templates (0.12.0.1167) requires feature "org.eclipse.gef (3.3.0)", or equivalent.
I had download the SAP Widget Development Tools.zip file from https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/downloads?rid=/webcontent/uuid/b03b6544-c741-2a10-8999-ed04eb2b2c71
While unzipping the eclipse-SDK-3.3.2-win32.zip, there were two errors:
The System cannot find the file specified &
The file name or extension is too long.
I ignored them and continued the unzipping.
Please guide me as to how we can solve this error.

Hi Ankur,
This happens sometimes because of the Eclipse that you use. Download the Eclipse JEE Version. When you go to eclipse.org and try to download eclipse you can do a comparision of the versions there, You download the version which supports all the web features.

Check the above link you will be able to see the package details. Please download this Java IDE for EE developers and try installing the SAP widgets foundation then, If you are facing any problems in installing the plugins thru local archived site please let me know.

         This is the error I am getting when I open WebDynpro Page of Content Administration.

Calendar synchronization does not work anymore

Hello all,
I am trying to fix a problem with my calendar synchronization.
I had been synchronizing with Lotus Notes for several months and recently ran into some problems that seemed to originate from a specific note in Lotus. I attempted to fix the problem by identifying the last note encountered and removing it. This only moved the error to the previous note in the log.
I then tried to see if resetting the synchronization options in Desktop Manager would help kick start the process again. This did not change the outcome.
The next step was to reset the Blackberry calendar database and options from the desktop manager and try and start from scratch again. This time there was no error but there was no synchronization either. Further digging showed that there was no rim.log file and no Notes log file created. I know the Desktop was communicating with the Blackberry because the desktop logo was showing on the device.
I then tried restoring my calendar so I could get back to the original problem. After the restore I was still getting the new scenario of no synchronization not the original problem.
I set up synchronization for memos from the device to the desktop using the ASCII export just to see if any synchronization would work. Memos came down fine and I now had a rim.log file produced but still no calendar synchronization.
All of the above was done using Desktop Manager 4.3.(?). I have since updated the desktop manager to 4.7 and I am getting the same results. The last thing that I have tried was resting the calendar again and resending my service books, still no synchronization. This is a wired synchronization and all of the calendar options say wireless synchronization = no (I don't have a wireless option that I am aware of on this phone).
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

You may try rebooting the device to check if it works. If this did not help, you will have to re-setup outlook account on your device to get it worked.

Outlook Calendar Synchronization Failed

I'm a desktop tech at my local hospital and I have a doctor that cannot sync his Palm Treo 680 with his outlook calendar anymore after his profile was rebuilt..
I've been trying to get this syncronization to work for over a week now =(.. to no avail.. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, tried installing it on another PC and I've tried almost every fix I can find.

I saw this solution and he doesn't have any events that span overnight but he does have reoccuring events with no end date.. his defense was that it was working before and these reoccuring events with no date were there..
could an update have come out that changed this issue for outlook?

Yes the ABAP query transports the whole Infoset.
Goto Transaction SQ02
Goto Environment -> Query areas -> Select teh Standard area.
Select Environment -> Transports -> Import radio Button
Check the Overwriting allowedand teh remove the check for Test Run
Select the Transport Infosets and queries radiobutton
Fill in the Infoset and teh Query with the corresponding names and the Import option with Transport Request Number

SAP - LDAP synchronization doubt

I have setup SAP - LDAP synchronization on WebAS 6.20 with Active Directory on W2k3. The mappings are default what SAP suggested me along with its standard schema extensions. When I run the RSLDAPSYNC_USERS, I m faced with 2 problems here,
1) I have selected When users exists both in AD and DB it should compare the timestamp and update the values accordingly. If user doesn't exist in Active Directory then Create it .
For this I created a user JLIN ( Jason Lin )in both active directory (created manually from AD - MMC ) and SAP using SU01.
On sync it throws error :

This means that it is not able to recognize the user JLin in Active Directory as the same user as JLin in SAP. Any idea what could I be doing wrong ? When the user is created in by SAP into AD ( i.e. if jlin did not exists ) the sync etc happens perfectly well . Any pointers on this ?
2 ) On the other hand, we have 2 sets of users to be synchronized, one in active directory and the other in SAP. Since these systems are governed by different sets of userid policies the userid for a user in Active directory may not be same as that of SAP. So we need to map these userids for synchronization. is there a way to specify in SAP / Active directory which Active Directory / SAP user they map to ?
What we want to achieve is When a user is deleted / disabled from active directory he should be deleted / disable in SAP too.

I didn't find any way to do that so I deleted the folder but with that when I try to install server components I get error failed ,roll back.

Try:
rpm -q -a | grep B1 | xargs rpm -e
And then try reinstallation.
If it works, next time when you uninstall B1 on Linux, please use the uninstall.bin located in the installation path, typically opt/sap/SAPBusinessOne. You can find the instructions in the Administrator's Guide (HANA version), which is in the product package \Documentation\SystemSetup\ and also in the Packages.Linux folder.

Hi,
Please go to SCAL and then Public Holidays and then change and then inside the screen select the public holidays that have been wrongly assigned and then click on change now ur public holidays class and rest details comes up so change as per ur requirement.
