SAP CEI: Modify title and customize theme
Hi all,
I have two questions:
1.) Where can I maintain strings? I have to change the default title "SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence powered by SAP HANA".
2.) I want to modify the default theme (sap_bluecrystal). I have added my modification via theme designer and can see it within /UI5/THEME_TOOL
In transaction /n/UI2/NWBC_CFG_CUST I added the following entry:
• Path Filter: SAP_FLP
• Parameter Name: THEME
• Value: <theme_id>
But still the old theme is loaded?
I have tested the theme via sap-theme=<theme ID>@<theme root> - in general theme ist available and could be used..

I found a solution to change the displayed title:
In the mentioned i18n-File contains at first row a SAPUI5 translation-key.
Copy this key, open transaction se63. Click in the main menu on entry "Translation" -> ABAP Objects -> Short texts. Select SAPUI5 Text Elements from the tree.
Next we can select the language an modify the translations.

This means, question 1 is solved. Question 2 is still open. Any ideas?

How to modify title and tooltip text in Content Editor web part
I have inherited a site with a page that includes two Content Editor web parts. The web parts have been left with the default titles (Content Editor [1] and [2]) and mouse-over text.
I want to set these to something more appropriate so I choose the option Edit Page (to edit the web parts on this page). I can move the web parts around (so definitely in Edit mode) but if I click the Edit Web Part Properties the page refreshes but no properties
or options (or errors) appear.
How do I modify these web parts?When you select the edit web part options, the page should reload with the configuration options on the right hand side. This will include several collapsed sections, namely: -
Appearance
Layout
Advanced
If you maximise the appearance one, you'll see a text field for "Title." Edit this to what you want and you'll be able to rename these.
If you can't see the options, make sure to scroll to the far right hand side of the screen. Sometimes on larger resolution monitors, they can appear hidden.

Ripping existing sub-titles and reusing them in new project...
Hi there folks,
I've been given the task of converting an existing NTSC DVD-Video into PAL -- amongst other things I need to remove and replace existing distributor logos, etc.
So I've created all new PAL assets, e.g., the main feature, menus, intro, etc.
The question I have is that the original NTSC feature has a total of four sub-titles sets of which, if possible, I would like to rip and lay back into the new PAL project.
Is this possible? And if so how?

Mac OS X (10.4.9)Many thanks once again Steve, I've subsequently discovered the reason as to why DVDSP refused to acknowledge the double line entries -- or rather how to get around the problem!!
Removing the video asset from the track allowed the subtitles to be imported correctly... Not sure why, but it worked!!

p.s. This particular project began it's life in Encore 2.0 -- oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!! I wil NEVER use that sorry excuse for an authoring package again!! Quite how Adobe have the confidence in bringing it to the Mac platform is something way beyond me... Anyway, apologies for the digression...

Two Macs, but want both to be same (title and everything)
I have two Macs and on one of them I have added titles and put them where I want them to be. How do I transfer all of that over to my other Mac?
Do you mean, you have an edited iPhoto library on one of your macs and want to copy this library to your other mac?
If you can connect your macs using a firewire cable, I'd connect them and mount one of the macs in Target Disk Mode. This way, one mac will be seen as a disk by the other mac, and you can transfer your library by drag and drop using the Finder.

It is not possible to sync two libraries and only to transfer the edit, titles, and ratings. You will have to transfer the whole library.

I am working on an enterprise wiki site collection, and when contributor users try to add web parts they will get the following error:-
A Web Part or Web Form Control on this Page cannot be displayed or imported. You don't have Add and Customize Pages permissions required to perform this action.
So I granted the Contribute Permission level an extra permission which is “Add and Customize Pages”. Now contributors will be able to add/edit/delete
web parts. But they will have extra permissions that I do not want them to have , such as changing the design and customize some page layouts, also they can access the site settings and create site columns !!.
So my question is basically if there is another way to allow users with contribute permission to be able to add web parts without granting any extra permission. In other words to treat adding web parts as normal content such as image, Text ,tables ?

so there are not any workarounds or any custom settings which i can use to implement any of these:-
- To force Contributor users to add web parts without granting them "Add and Customize Pages"
- If i grant them "Add and customize Pages" permission, to stop the ability to access the site settings ?
Please can any one advice on this , as it is causing a lot of confusion,,, and i can not live with the face that Contributor users can access and modify site settings. the other approach will be is that i will stop using web parts. but one of our main reasons
we decide to use SharePoint is the ability to add web parts, especially the Visio & Excel web access web. thanks in advance for any advice .. -

When printing a list in Address Book, how can I select more than the default Attributes and keep them selected when I print again? I want to print ALL information for contacts so I have email address, notes, phone, company, title, etc all on one page. I don't want to have to check off an additional 5 or 6 attributes each time I print out contact information. Is there a way to change the default setting for printing lists, so it is not just "phone," "photo," and "job title?"
I have a user who wants to do this same thing. I did not find any way either to default the attributes to anything other than what you see the first time. Seems like such a trivial thing, hard to believe they do not allow it. I did find a program for this called iDress but I can't seem to download it from any links on the Internet. Not sure if it is free or not, but it was recommended by a link on the Mac support site.

I used Ion Profile Pro turntable to digitize some old records. It worked fine for most of the records, but on five or six albums I get an error message saying "the original file can't be found" and it won't transfer them to my iPod Touch. However, the files are on my hard disk digitized and I can click on them and play them in Windows Media Player. When I go to iTunes, the records (or the CD created from the original records) exits in the iTunes libraries for sale. However, in some cases, the contents of the album offered for sale differs slightly from the original record, or the songs exist on different albums, but not the original album that I had. In some cases minor misspellings occurred on a few titles when they were entered in the ION softwareon my computer. In a few cases, it seemed as if ION did not recognize that there were two or three songs and ran them all together as one and again, my song list does not exactly match Apple's.
I own these songs, but iTunes won't put them on my iPod Touch. Is there anything I can do (short of paying for songs I already own) to get Apple to recognize these songs?You seem to have an iTunes problem, not an iPod problem. Try posting in the iTunes forum.

I am trying to organize thousands of old images in aperture. Aperture dates them all in 2008, when I started this project. When I change the date in aperture some of them hold the modified date and some revert to 2008. Any ideas?
I just tried a test library, re-imported fresh images from a hard drive, and the date changes still revert.
So neither your external drive nor your Aperture library are to blame.
What do you mean test in a different user acct? Would it be a good idea to uninstall and re-download aperture 3?

To test, if some settings in your user account are faulty or preferences files corrupted, it helps to create a new user account from the "Users&Groups" System preferences. With a brand new user account you can see, if something in your current account is causing this.
Should you see, that Aperture is not even working from a new and clean account, I'd reinstall Aperture, and if need be the Operating system. Are you using any plug-ins? -
I am trying to copy many titles of music from my pc to the latest I Tunes. I can no longer copy and paste them like I used to be able to do. I need serious help here. Any thoughts or resolutions? Frustrated

I may be reading too much into things, but is your media stored in a bunch of folders where each folder represents a playlist? If so my script ImportFolderStructure might be useful to you...

My objective is to print photos on on 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper (4 per page). I want to include the photo title and the photo key words.
I am not sure how to go about doing this.In iPhoto, create an album with the images you want to print.
Once created, open the album and select all the images (type Command + A)
Go to the menu View and make sure Titles and Keywords are checked.
Go to the menu File > Print
Choose Contact Sheet
In the lower right corner press the customize button
In the next window that opens, at the bottom of the window change the column slider to "2"
You should be good to go. If OK, then press Print at the bottom right corner of the window.

Modify SAP Email notification subject and content

As of now we are receiving notification emails with standard subject whenever we are receiving workflow items in SAP .
I want to customize the subject and content of the notification...
Eg;
One of our team receiving email notifications for all workflow items [for Idoc Status errors] .. now i want to change the subject and content for this team alone . ..
Suppose if the orders got failed , workflow will assign to EDI team .. they will receive email for this ..
Now i need to change the email subject / append the idoc status in the subject ...
Please help meHi, how did you solve the problem? I have probably the same problem and I am new in this. After payment clarification process in FS-CD the email is automatically generated and send to user. But I do not know where can I change the body of the email. If it is Customizing, or change in some program or User exit or FM?

I got some books from the itunes store and put them into my library. I created a playlist so that I could burn them to cds. It won't even play the book, there are no contents. How do I get the contents of the book?
I'm guessing this is a problem unique to me as there have been no replies at all... Thanks a bunch folks

FCPX is not loading titles and generators and crashes when loading projects that have them already
Hello,
I am currently trying to add titles and generators (and themese too) to a new project in FCPX. However when I click on either the titles or generators tab nothing appears in the select area. However, when selecting transitions, music, effects and all the other tabs they show their respective items fine. I have already deleted my preferences plist which did not do anything, as well as restarted my computer.
Also, if I try to load a project that has titles in it, FCPX crashes. I have attached a few screenshots of what I am experiencing:

What my statement above indicates is that FCPX is not a replacement for video professionals.
Apple definitely has alienated the video professionals with this release of Final Cut Pro. And, if not addressed within the next 12 months probably it will be a good bye to the video professional community.
The application may be a success, but with a new audience. Not with the core of users that made it a current success.
Apple should learn from Aperture, their software that was touted as the photography application for professionals. It is a great tool, but it lost the battle against Adobe Photoshop Lightroom in the Professional community, along ago. It did, because Apple was not listening to the professionals, and was trying to change the workflow of all these pros.
FCPX indeed is a new way to see post, but Apple is not the mighty enterprise to make a whole industry change. Video/Film Editing is older than Apple, and Apple is not the only company in this field providing solutions. Granted, FCP (version 7 and prior) needed some tweaks, but as applications, they are great tools. FCPX, is not there yet. And it should have been named something else. It is not the next version of FCP, is a whole new application.
I agree, calling it a Pro, is an insult.

I'm having trouble getting FCPX to share my entire video, it cuts off the opening titles and starts a few seconds in when I share to my MacBook. It's my first vid so I've done a few daft things like editing the audio after I put the visual together, so had to detach it and re-attach it. Is this the possible root of my problems?

Version 10.0.5 FCPX. Can't send screenshot at present. However on all three versions of the video I have in Projects there is a shaded area on the left at the start. Shaded from top to bottom over the credits and sometimes over the first two or three seconds, this extends to the left and fills the project box before the 00.00 counter and the timeline starts. This only appears when I expand the timeline so I can see the clips I've attached. It's not visible if I just have the timeline and no clips or audio showing. I think it corresponds to the part the export is cutting off. I'm self-taught from tutorials and handbook and it's all new to me, no editing experience prior to the last two weeks.
Couldn't upload to Youtube at all, though it did go to Facebook, but with two audio tracks playing, so export is proving a bit tricky. Also after attempting to share two different versions of the vid an icon has now appeared beside it's name in my Projects next to these two versions showing an audio sign and triangle with exclamation mark. Another version of the vid has the same icon and freezes the computer when I try to open it and is just a black space where the timeline should be. I can't even Move To Trash. I think there may be an audio problem: the main timeline footage should have had audio but was silent, probably a mistake made when it was shot. So I synched audio. However, I think there is audio on the main footage but just unavailable to me. Could be this is messing it up? I'm clearly doing something wrong! Also as mentioned, edited the audio after I'd synched it, so had to detach the synched audio and re-attach an edited version. Could be I went wrong there. I just highlighted, deleted and attached the new audio.
Might download an unexpanded version and see if anything's different. Failing that may go back to scratch, synch edited audio and try again and just not put on start credits. However, could it just be a bug in the software? Would re-installing help?
