My advise is - If you are fresher to the SAP. Please get domain experience in Manufacture Industry experience.
If you have domain experience - Not having of SAP experience
1. Please Goto Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India - join in I-logic with Satyanarayana Sir. He has been teaching since 2000.Excellent tutor.
2.Complete the course meanwhile join in the sap forums - collect the materials regarding the certifications.
3. Buy a system and install SAP R/3 System and start practicing it.
4. After acquiring of proficiency - Then join in SAP Academy like Siemens.
They charge 3.5 lakhs with one month trainning. You can grasp quickly by the end of the trainning
course.
6. Online training from SAP approved Academy. Costs around 1.6 lacks
7. If working with SAP implementation partners, get sponsorship letter from Company, pay only certification fee and get certified. For these you need to have atleast 2 years work experience and 6months to 1 year with Sponsoring Company

I have just cleared my SAP Certification and I have not received any mail from SAP confirming the same neither have I received any link to download the logo. Can anyone help me with this issue.

SAP Certified Vendor V's SAP Certified processes

Hello Gurus
We are currently looking at some vendors for a voicepicking project at the moment. Some of them are SAP certified while others have been audited by SAP and their processes have been approved. Can you please provide SAPs definition of a SAP Certified Vendor and a vendor that has been audited and their processes approved by SAP. Possibly you can consider the following in your response?
Product compatibility and interface compatibility.
Future upgrade compatibility.
Implications on SAP support.
Any other items that should be considered.
The vendor is quoted as saying:
"We are not SAP certified. We use SAP certified methods for connection to SAP
Information on items such as the JCO, .XML can be obtained from the SAP website.
Thus we use SAP certified methods of connection..."

Once you get that, you can send to SAP Education or Kenneth from this forum - Your certification Number and other relevant details shared on many threads here.

I'm glad you are planning your certification exam. The material codes listed in your mail are actual SAP training courses offered by SAP education. You should be able to find them in the local training catalogue in your country. The SMI210/SMI310 have been offered for several years and only have been updated to ASAP 7 level. The new course ASA380 has been rolled out last year as part of introducing the ASAP 7 to the market. It is ASAP in detail course walking throuhg all the phases of ASAP and focusing on specific deliverables of each work stream in the methodology. The remaining courses are standard SAP training courses that are recommended as preparation for exam (e.g. OCM, E2E, BPM).

business process modelling tools in relation to SAP- There are many modelling tools available but I would recommend ARIS which is mostly widely used. Please visit www.ids-scheer.com
advice on how to break into the BPM career from an SAP perspective. BPM is a very niceh area in conjuction to SAP projects. I hope u are aware of SAP implemenattion phases. BPM is emerging as a must do step before business blueprinting which is the core of any implementation. ARIS can be well integrated with SAP solution Manager and SAP is promoting this in a very big way. there are sucess stories for these which I can share with you.

If you look at the topics covered in SAP Certification, then you will realize that it touches most possible solutions available in SAP Standard for that module, Generally If a person is experienced Consultant, he would have worked on certain scenarios and might be well versed wit it, but most of the times I have seen experienced guys also not knowing certain standard functionality available in SAP which can be applied to optimize the process they are working on, sometimes people even go for developing something which could be done easily by configuration.
Also I would not say that going for certification is extremely important but yes it definitely helps.

How to start preparation for SAP Certification

Hi i am a fresher in SAP Basis wants to start my preparation to clear SAP Certification exam.

If you are in India, please contact SAP Education. They have separate evaluation process, without training you cannot attend unless you have trained with SAP / Authorised Training Center.
Please go through the blogs in Certification / Career space.
Please visit
training.sap.com
Here for each certification exam, you can see the syllabus.
You only need to study what is required for that exam, not the whole SAP basis.

If you gain experience as a SAP consultant for 2 years (i think it is for 2 years) the company which you are employed with, can authorize you to write the certification exam
You will take or may take exam along with some batch which has just completed SAP Training From Siemens or may be any other reputed institutes
So the paper and pattern is same
Suppose if in that exam center if there are 25 persons taking SD exam (say 20 from Siemens and 5 directly by experience) there may be 5 to 7 set of questionners
So your friend may not get the same set of qns but someother in that exam hall will have exactly the same set of qns as you are getting
But SAP exam assesmentwise is the same for both siemens trained freshers and the experienced people like you
Absolutely on Basics and standard business processes defined by the standard SAP and you can expect qns also from the screen shots which will be nowhere written in any material and that will test how familiar that you are with that screen

CRM surely has a good future so you could spend time and efforts in learning more into that on the job.
As for certification, I recommend that you work for more 2 years and go for the Professional certification (ABAP) rather than "Associate". It will be a value addition for sure.
Please search these forums and also take others' opinions relating to CRM / ABAP certifications.

Refer to the materials TAW10,TAW11,TAW12. Those will be helpful.
You can also attend sample tests in SAPdomain.com.
Just go through the F1 help of all the elements on the screen.
That will help you a lot.
Maintain a schedule for what you are preparing and what you want to do in th next days ,that will let you know the status of your preparation.

This was one of the good session...
Especially the features such as;
-- TCP/IP connection control with JMS adapters
-- Empty file Handling
-- Set the various Attributes for Mail attachments via dynamic configuration (intially only subject line was possible)
-- Message Prioritization
-- single IDOC Ack for IDOC Packaging
-- IDOC packaging
-- and many more........................
Even the future indicatioon of IDOC J2EE based adapter will provide new direction to the existion IDOC related scenarios..
One thing that was changed in IDOC packaging is to control it via Sender Communication channel...intially we were doing it either via ECC system or with t-code "idxpw"
Its almost in same way...but from J2EE based adapter perceptive IDOC packaging will be available with Java stack...and will no need to depend only ABAp stack for this feature.

I just finish installation of my ECC 6.0 server. Now i want to change the number of the SAP dialog process. And do you know if there is any calculate formula to use so that i can know how many dialog process i should set for the server?

That depends on the no of users that are going to logon.
For windows based operating system, it depends on the no of processors you have in the server.

While increasing the no of work process, you need to note that per work process, you have to assign 50 MB to 60 MB of memory, depending on the SAP release and operating system.
