SAP class (or FM) populating the list of CATS request to approve by the manager

Hello guys,
I have a problem when I want to approve CATS request via ESS. The problem is that despite the task is being created and is appearing in manager´s UWL, when I click on the task, the CATs list is displaying all CATs request but one subtype. This is what I see in frontend:

What I would like to know is if there is any customizing that filters what subtypes are available to be displayed in frontend, as the subtype that appears in backend and not in front end is new, and I suspect I am missing something.

Of course.
First screenshot belongs to the manager CATS overview in ESS, so this is the request the manager sees pending to approve through ESS.
The second screenshot belongs to backend. These are the request the manager sees after clicking in the task in SBWP transaction.
As you see, in backend he sees one request more (subtye PRES). This subtype has been recently configured and I am afraid I have lost some customizing. My question is if there is some place where you filter which subtypes are displayed for manager approval.
The subtype request triggers a workflow, and approved and posted in backend goes to the right infotype, so there must be some customizing missing in portal.

When I try to log into "find my iphone" under his name on my device I get an error msg involving icloud......he is MUCH better at this stuff then I am BUT he is in school and now I need to figure out how to use the "find my iphone app". PLEASE HELP

It doesn't matter whick account you use to download the app.
You have to sign into the app (or iCloud.com from a web browser on your computer) with his Apple ID & password.
Find My iPhone will only work if it was enabled in the iCloud settings on the device and it was powered on with a connection to the internet

Populating the configurator !!

We have a requirement of
Referencing the current product configuration from the Install Base and then populating it in Oracle Configurature , If any feature code is not populated due to any reason ,then we need to show those reason in the report .
Do we have any stabdard API or concurrent program to this ??
Or any program which does some part of the above requirement !??

If you need to configure the Bill of Material, then you will need to create the ATO Model/Option BOM with Option Classes and Optional components. When you take the order, you place the order for the ATO Model and launch Configurator. If you do not import your model into Configurator Developer and publish the model, then you will get a very basic UI using only the Optional and Mutually Exclusive BOM Attributes. When you select your options, the selections will be visible as child lines on the sales order. After booking the order, you run AutoCreate Configuration Items to generate the shippable configuration item.
If you need to "configure" your BOMs, then you will not be able to avoid this minimal setup listed above. However, your very specific requirement to "populate the complete BOM into my sales order line" intrigues me. I usually have just the opposite requirement. Usually my clients want to use configurator, but avoid populating the meaningless ATO BOM Components on the sales order line. It would be good if you could further expand the issue/requirement you are facing. Perhaps there is a different solution if we better understood.

We are implementing ChaRM with Portal. While deploying we are running into following issue.

class java.io.IOException:The file (/usr/sap/trans/data/GPSK90001B/sktp14_20100806_095633.epa) does not exist on the filesystem.
Any suggestion.

We resolved this issue by sharing the trans file across SolMan and Portal system.

Classes not found for jars listed in manifest

I have an applet whose main jar has a number of dependent jars listed in the manifest. All the jars are signed.
The applet works fine when downloaded from an HTTP server.
Previous to 1.6.14 it would also run from a local directory.
As of Java 1.6.15 and 1.6.16, the classes in the dependent jars are no longer loadable from the local directory. ClassDefNotFound is the reported on the java console. Obviously the class is present, as the application is running fine in JVMs 1.6.14 and previous.
I see that 1.6.16 includes changes for the security baseline, but I cannot find anything that suggests changes are needed to support dependent jars. None of the dependent jars request a specific version of JRE.
Anybody know what is going on?

If you provide a Short, Self Contained, Correct Example someone may be able to diagnosis the problem, as opposeed to guessing. When run as an applet off this site, it works fine.
If you click on the download button, it will place a copy on your local harddrive. To execute it locally double click on your local copy of InstallGUI.html.
When running it locally with Java 1.6.15 and 1.6.16 it will give you a class def not found exception without doing any thing.
When running locally with Java 1.6.14, it will not experience any trouble.
This applet needs permissions to open sockets and store data on the harddrive.
Probably due to the presence of class files that once existed outside of the jars, but are now not thereClose ... the application is made up of a main jar (our product) and a number of third party jars. The manifest for the main jar properly references the other jars, and works in all JVMs before 1.6.15. As of 1.6.15, none of the classes from the referenced jars can be opened.
I found that I can work around the problem by placing all classes into a single jar ... which may infringe on licensing requirements for some of the third party jars we use.

I am running Exchange 2013 and I have an end user who connects to it via Outlook 2010. All was going well till he went to forward an email and he noticed that the From button appeared and auto populated the sender's email address.
I have clicked the Empty Auto Complete List in Outlook's Send messages... still displayed the From tab when forwarding.
I recreated the profile in outlook... same thing.
I created the profile with outlook 2013... same thing.
There is only one user profile setup in Outlook.
(I know the from tab usually appears when you have multiple profiles setup in Outlook and/or when you configure the "From" tab.)
I opened the end user's email in Exch 2013's OWA... what was different here was when I clicked on the email and it opened, it did NOT have the Reply or Forward option... and it displayed as a "Draft" email.
Does anyone have any ideas?

So are you saying that the from button is filling the option with the original senders address (eg the person who sent the message to your user), or that it's filling in the your users address (in which case I don't understand what the issue is, since
it IS going from your user)?

Pre-Populating the JSP file

IM following Validtaion.xml for my field level validations
The problem is...i have a comboBox...and that combo box shoudl get prepopulated on the load ..
When i click a link..for example : from the menu...the call will actually fire the actionTag that is coupled with the struts-config file and will fire a action class.
Now once the execute method is called...i have to populate that combo from the same class which will set the attribute in teh request.
So for the first time...my combo box is getting populated using that atttribute values...but when i click on any button , the populated values are getting lost due to the validation.xml gets activated, and the request attributes are lost ...
Since i have a Validtaion frame work...as when i click the submit button ,the control invokes the validation frame work and looses all the pre populated values..
Is thr any one to guide me why this is happening and how to come out of thios pain full situvation.

LOVs are popped up when populating the items

Hi Everybody,
I have one master-detail block. Whenever an item is selected in the master block, corresponding details are populated in the detail block.
I have 5 text items in the detail block, out of which 4 are attached to LOVs.
I have set "Validate from List" option to "YES" for all the 4 items.
The problem is, whenever i am populating the detail block, before displaying each and every record, the LOVs of the first 2 items are getting popped up prompting to select an item.
I want these LOVs to be suppressed, while having "Validate from List" option to "YES", which is mandatory.
Can anyone help me in this regard..

The items connected to LOVs are non-database items. Those values are arrived from POST-QUERY trigger.
When the cursor is placed in new record.. it is validating.. thats fine..
But, problem is all...while populating the records, when master item is selected!
LOVs are being popped up for first 2 items when displaying each n every record.

Has anyone populated the doc_flow details for an ORDERS05 IDOC?

I am having trouble understanding what needs to be populated in the doc_flow itab of line type CRMXIF_DOC_FLOW_I.
In my case I am trying to populate the doc flow with CONSIP (customer reference contract) details. I can work out what field 'RELATION_TYPE' is and can see that it needs to have a value of 'VONA'. This one is easy to identify because of the 4 character field definition, but I can't work out what goes in the relobj_roletype, relobj_objkey, relobj_type, or the relobj_object_id fields. Can anyone be of help here. I have been trying a number of different values, for example, I populated the relobj_roletype field with 'BUS2000135' which is the object name for a 'CRM Customer contract', but that was rejected and resulted in a status 51 being set in the IDOC.

I agree with you, but you try and get a VAN to supply IDOC related details in the complex data structure format. They can do it but they're not at all happy about it and go to great lengths to avoid, whereas the ORDERS05 is a standard that most already output to.
I can process ORDERS05 type IDOC's okay, although I had to add my own code to process a few segments. Anyway, the orders are being created okay. I did initially have a problem when blocking an item, based on certain checks perfromed in the BADI, but that has now been resolved. My only other problem, which a support message has been raised with SAP about, is to parse back status messages to IDOC. Again, there's a BADI which allows you to add content, but there's a mismatch in parameters between the FM and BADI. I'm sure they'll sort it out.
The only thing left now is to get the item level doc flow to update when pointing to customer reference contract. Again, it's just a case of reverse engineering the data from the IDOC created by the CRMXIF_ORDER_TEST program.

I found many classes for HR in the repository. I think, the most interesting class for me is
CL_HRBAS_PLAIN_INFOTYPE_ACCESS
because I need to read single infotypes and not all records. The problem is: I found no examples for this class.
Can someone help me further?

I know this is a bit late but hopefully it still helps.
In short you would be better to use one of the available function modules (e.g. HR_READ_INFOTYPE, HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION) or to use the PNP logical database statements (GET PERNR, RP_PROVIDE) as Jamie alluded to.
For detailed info on how the HR Infotypes have been implemented using ABAP Objects you can refer to this SAP Library content which explains the decoupled infotype framework

Which classes are inherent in the Java language?

For some reason I just thought of the question this past 2AM.
What classes are significant to the Java compiler? The list I thought of was:
Object -- implements wait() and synchronized
String -- all those convenience idioms we couldn't live without
StringBuilder -- for String operators like "a" + var
Integer, Long, Short, Char -- also for String operators like int i; String x = "abc" + i;
Throwable -- needed for catch clause
RuntimeException -- needed for implicit throw
How about the following? Does javac need to know about these? Or are they all handled by the runtime base classes?

Unable to find "resources/sap-ui-core.js" in the project

I am trying to wrap a SAPUI5 SplitApp application using cordova 3.4.0 and run it from an android device.
After much R&D, the application seems to be running fine but there is a small glitch here...
I'm unable to access the SAPUI5 libraries from the project placed on my desktop [i.e. src="resources/sap-ui-core.js"] in the below script. It gives a timeout network error when I try to do so. But, the project runs absolutely fine when I refer the online library for the resource folder [i.e. src="https://sapui5.netweaver.ondemand.com/resources/sap-ui-core.js"].
Location where the resource folder is currently saved on my desktop after downloading the UI_Development_Toolkit_for_HTML5_Version_SAPUI5_1_16_3_278_MB.zip and extracting the same:-

maybe i can give some information about the mentioned statement [src="resources/sap-ui-core.js"] and your associated problems.
The point is that all files, which are loaded over "resources/*", are served by a special resource-servlet within your Java Servlet-Container. When you have a look at your web.xml, you will see the following part.

When your Java-Server is not running and you are starting the index.html in your browser, you will always getting error messages in the browser console (because your Servlet is not available and therefore can't serve the framework-libs). To fix this, you need to load the framework from a different location in a static way.

In order to learn the details of Authoring Environment ( LSO 300 or LSO 600 ) , what is the best ? SAP class HR270: SAP Learning Solution Overview, seems the only class were Authoring Environment is presented , is HR270 a good class (enough detailed) ?

Sorry - not sure I understand the second half of your question.
Basically, if the test is 3rd party and SCORM compliant, then 'Pass/Fail' results will be passed to the backed ERP tables. If the provider puts results in the 'suspend data' field, you will be able to report on those with a custom report.
If the test is created in the AE using the testing tool, then results should be passed to the backend (pass/fail and test item stats) as long as the test is not a 'self-test' (must be a pre-test/post-test or stand-alone test.) And if you require passing of the post-test to pass the class, then you can inhibit the learner from receiving a qual. Hope this helps.

Data is not populated in List based on custom Query

I want to query the BO and display only certain instances in a advanced ListPane based on a query condition. But when i bind the custom query to the advanced list pane no data is displayed.
1. Created a Bo PersistForcastBo.
2. In Ti screen of PersistForcastBo add a tab QUALIFICATIONS.
3. Two Advanced List Panes are created in QUALIFICATIONS tab
4.fields of second advancedlist pane are bound to respective fields of Bo.
5.Also an absl action script I created which displays data in the advanced listpane on click of QUALIFICATIONS tab.
6.created a SADL Query in the controller and added the fields required for selection.
6.also created condition in the selected parameter
6. In AdvancedListPane added the default set created., but after the querying the Bo data doesnt display in AdvancedlistPane
Can Anyone Please suggest a solution to this.

On click of QUALIFICATIONS tab , Eventhandler gets called . In the eventhandler a Bo action is called first which is a absl script- displayforecast, to get all the data . The data in the list pane is populated due to this script. But when i created the query and binded the default set to the listpane the data is not populated
the Eventhandler is called on Click of Qualifations Tab, first action gets called and then eventhandler that executes defaultset is fired . This eventhandler is the handler created when query->defaultset is created
but after firing this query no data is displayed.
