SAP CRM 7.0 u2013 E2C Setup CRM via Email Toolset - Not Working

I am trying to implement the scenario mentioned in the SDN blog.

However I am stuck with the Rule modeler, due to lack of documentation for scenario I am trying to implement.
My requirement is to invoke the Services I have maintained.
1> user will send "?" in subject line and they should get back links to the services they are authorized.
2> user will click one of the services and the service results is send back
So in rule modeler, what can be possible action and condition? Do I have to maintain any rules or Policy for the scenario I am trying to implement? I am getting the error "Resolution of rule AC00200136 for task TS00207914: no agent found".

    Background :-
    Each Product in SAP CRM has a location address .
    Address has an attribute STR_SUPPL2 . This standard field is also a Query Parameter in Product Search Query.
    When we use this Query Parameter STR_SUPPL2 , Search result in an Error Message with no result .
    Technical Analysis :-
    There is a Query Parameter named ST_SUPPL2 in the CRM Product Search ::ProdAdvancedSearchIndObjects .
    When we use this Query Parameter an Error message Appears .
    Search criteria LOCATION_ADDRESS.STR_SUPPL2 in scenario CL_COM_PRSEARCHSCENARIO_LOCAT not included in tool/filter    LOCATION_ADDRESS    STR_SUPPL2    CL_COM_PRSEARCHSCENARIO_LOCAT

    I tried to find out the cause .Its mainly because SAP has coded in such a way to allow only few Location Address parameters in production search .
    This can be viewed in the class :: CL_COM_PRSEARCHTOOL_LOCAT~DO_SEARCH .
    There is a related OSS Note (1018099)  as well ,but its valid for few Fields only .
    We are already on CRM latest SP .
    Client Requirement :-
    Since STR_SUPPL2 is part of standard search criteria and my Client requires to consume this field in Product Search and Result .
    Please if some one can help here .
    MY DOUBTS :-

    Should this be resolved by SAP and Shall i open an Incident ?
    Query 2 :-
    What BADI should i use if i need to write my own custom logic to implement search based on this field STR_SUPPL2 ?

    But looks like after Implementing the Enhancement Spot , I have to Take care of the Complete Product Search myself  .This is not the intension here .
    Reason : CL_CRM_PRIL_ADVSEARCH_BASE~GET_RANGESEARCH_RESULT
    CALL METHOD me->do_searchengine_search (Ignores all other Location Query Paramaters)
    CALL METHOD me->do_database_range_search
    I just need to enable 1 standard Field :: STR_SUPPL2 Seachable .

    I have maintained the  customizing in the technical profile (default) and I have assigned it to theh business role sales_admin.but it's not working

  • Changes made to the order in SAP CRM 7.0 is not transferring into ECC6.0

    Hi SAP CRM Experts,
    Could you please provide me the solution for the below concern?
    When the changes are made in SAP CRM order ,the synchronization is not taking place i.e., those changes are not replicating into ECC6.0 and the other way round is working fine(from ECC6.0 to CRM)The order is not editable in CRM and giving the message as "Document is being distributed; changes are not possible" and BDOC status as " After qRFC step (intermediate state)" and in the in bound queue (SMQ1) and it is showing as "running" after a while it is clearing but the BDOC and the orders messages are still the same.
    Would appreciate for the quick solution.

  • I can attach an image to SAP CRM WebUI but was not able to view it

    Dear Experts,
    I was trying to attach an image document to SAP CRM WebUI through cl_crm_documents (Method :- create_with_table) by passing the binary value.
    I receive a string value for the image from IOS team and I convert the same to Xstring and binary in the code. And pass the binary value to the method "create_with_table".
    And I could see the document gets attached. When I try to open the same. The image looks like a small cross bar(i.e :- As if we try to open an unsupported file format.) Though I tried passing both jpeg and png files.
    On the other hand, when I try to attach the same image manually in WebUI. I could view the attached image perfectly. Please find the below code snippet I have used.
    Help me out in getting it resolved.

    Thanks for the response. If you go through my code snippet I have given, I have already mentioned the mimetype as "application/pdf" for pdf document and used the same in my coding. It still doesnt help out.

    We are testing SAP CRM 7.0.
    In T-cd:sproxy in CRM system, the Software Component Version SAP CRM ABAP 7.0 doesn't show up.
    We'd like to see the web service definitions for CRM Service Processing,
    but can't find them such as "ServiceOrderCRMCreateRequestConfirmation_In"(described in ES Workplace)
    to create Service Order in T-cd:sproxy nor T-cd:SE80 Repository Information System>Enterprise Services>Service Definitions.
    (We found the web service definitions of SAP CRM ABAP 5.1 there, but not SAP CRM ABAP 7.0)
    The support package versions are as follows:
    - SAP_ABA : SAPKA70106
    - SAP_BASIS :  SAPKB70106
    - PI_BASIS : SAPK-70106INPIBASIS
    - BBPCRM : SAPKU70006
    Could you please advise us what's required to find Web Services SAP CRM ABAP 7.0?

    You need to download SWCV "SAP CRM ABAP 7.0" in your CRM system from service market place. Also download PI content for SWCV: "SAP CRM ABAP 7.0" and import them in ESR.

    Can anybody tell how the communication station work in SAP CRM?
    For example if the service agent has performed the service at the field or customer location and uses the mobile client device to confirm the service, how does the data gets synchronised with the CRM server? How the connection to the communication station work?

    Hello Swathi,
    Commstation sits between your mobile client and CRM server and acts as a channel of regulating  the data exchange.
    On your mobile client, the application data is saved in IDES and when you need to sync that data with the CRM server, you need to run Conntrans.
    Conntrans first connects with Commstation(which is a separate system) and then commstation allows conntrans to sync the data with Server. Commstation is basically a system which hosts a SAP CRM Transfer Service(a COM+ application).
    On your client system, the first thing that conntrans does is initialize this transfer service on commstation and then the further data exhcnage takes place.
    Commstation also doesn't allow CRM to be loaded with synchronization requests from several client machines. Imagine 1000 conntrans users sync the data with the same CRM server at the same time. Now you don't want the CRM server to be unnecessarily loaded with such sync requests. To limit this data exchange wherein only several(lets say 10) clients are allowed to sync the data via conntrans at 1 time, commstation comes in handy. As and when 1 conntrans session finishes and resources are deallocated on commstation, another client system can sync the data.
    In the dcomcnfg->COMApplications->SAP CRM Transfer Service, right click and check the properties. Resource pooling is handled via this COM application on Commstation.

       I have a requirement where I have to pull the data from MSSQL server and send it to SAP CRM.
       What are the different options avaiable with or without adapter to send data from MSSQL server to XI?
    As per my understanding I have following options:
    1. JDBC driver.
        MSQL ---> JDBC adapter ---> XI
    2. Create webservice for the XI outbound interface (Sender interface) and call it from MSSQL stored procedure.
       MSQL ---> SOAP adapter ---> XI
    2. Create webservice for the XI outbound interface (Sender interface) and call it from a .Net program.
      MSQL ---> DotNet application --> SOAP adapter ---> XI
    Which option is the best?

  • Submenu button like GoTo.. on CRM PCUI screen is not working for one user

    We have CRM Service scenario implemented with PCUI screens. For one particular user, GoTo button does not work on her PC. When I login as her on my PC then it works. So something wrong with her PC or Internet Explorer. What should I look for?

    Hi Manish,
    It means you are getting a JavaScript error. It will be seen on the left corner of your browser. Please compare your IE setting with your colleagues IE settings. This should solve the problem. Incase you still get the problem then try to refresh the screen. The problem should not be there.

    I was earlier OBIEE developer, recently started working on CRM On Demand Application. I tried writting SQL script in CRM On Demand Report PROMPT same as I used to write in OBIEE. Below is the sql statement
    Subject Area Used: "Service Request History"
    SQL Statement: SELECT CASE WHEN 1=0 THEN Account."Account Name" ELSE 'ORACLE' END FROM "Service Request History"
    Output (Error): State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 27004] Unresolved table: "Service Request History". (HY000)
    However, same kind of SQL used to work in OBIEE,
    Subject Area: "Service Request History"

    Output: ORACLE
    Please let me know why CRM On Demand is not giving output same as it comes in OBIEE and if possible solution to the problem.

  • Jre-setup.exe /L 1036 does not work

    I tried to use "jre-setup.exe /L 1036" to let the installer displayed in French. However, it did not work. I am using Windows XP and the locale is English (Canada).
    The installer only displayed in French when i change the locale to French on the PC.
    Isn't the command " /L 1036" supposed to let installer displayed in French regardless what the locale of the pc is set to?

    I think some developers really got some wrong concepts here...
    I have a English version of windows, but my locale set to Chinese for some of the programs I use. This does not mean that I want Java or any of my other programs in Chinese, and I certainly do not want the calendar to be. Recently I installed OpenProj and found a lot of parts including the calendar on the Gant Chart were in Chinese due to JRE taking my system's locale settings. This is all still ok, except for the fact that there is no way to change the language setting. Suggested solution by Sun is to just change the system locale in windows. This is of course not acceptable. Correct solution should be: JRE gets the default setting from the system, but is able to override it with an option.
    For those of you who face the same, here is a quick patch which hardcodes the locale instead of getting is from the system:
    -This has been done on File version 6.0.50.13 of Java.dll
    -Close all programs using Java
    -Open a hex editor and open "Java.dll" in "program files/Java/bin" or whereever you installed Java, and go to offset 0x6BD0 (if you have a different version of Java.dll), you can very likely still do a search for the hex values below and find the correct place)
    -You will see following values: FF 15 A0 10 32 6D 8B F8 FF 15 A4 10 32 6D 57 89
    -Change them to: 68 09 04 00 00 58 8B F8 68 09 04 00 00 58 57 89
    ^ ^ ^ ^
    -You can change the values indicated with ^ to the locale you want JRE to take, please check the link below for all locales.

    Remember to swap the bytes in the values above ie: 0x0409 (en) -> 0x0904.

  • SAP CRM WEB UI : Toolbar not displayed properly

    One of my client's is facing an issue with the toolbar display on CRM Web UI. For example, if he opens up some activity on Web UI, the toolbar is displayed vertically in an uneven format as shown in the image attached herewith:
    Does any one have some idea about rectifying it? I have checked the personalization settings and this problem occurs only for one user.

    Try to debug method IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_BUTTONS and see how the button and the seperators are placed there.
    May be the seperators are disturbed in the button table.

  • SAP CRM Pricing - Tax is not determined sometimes

    Hi Experts,
    we are using BADI: CRM_COND_COM_BADI to maintain to determine the taxes for every kind of possible business case. With the search values added to strucure CRMT_ACS_I_COM we search in condition table CNCCRMPRCUS00002 for the correct tax that has to be applied.
    There is a weird case I have to comment. In old service orders it can happen that no tax is determined. But if I use the same data and create a new service ticket the tax is determined. I have looked into the trace for pricing and get for the old service order the error:
    'No search carried out (the key field contents remain unchanged)'
    So my problem is what is that key field? We want that everytime the taxes are determined again but I dont know where to start for searching.
    Anybody knows this problem?

    Hi,
    within the determination of a condition record from a condition table the fields assigned in the access sequence are considere as key fields. If there is no change to the key fields of an access sequence throughout subsequent executions of pricing the pricing engine will not trigger a search for a condition record again (due to performance reasons).
    It is hard to guess why the condition record is not determined. Typical reasons are reguirement formulas, which prevent the condition from being determined or missing key field values, e.g. there might be use cases in the creation of the pricing item, where a certain attribute value is not (yet) known and hence it is not passed to the pricing engine for the determination of a condition.
    What happens if you trigger an update of the conditions / pricing for this item in the already existing document?
