SAP CRM 7.0 WebUI: change history is not working

Hi specialists
Our change history is working - but only in SAPGUI.
I found no way to activate / customize it for the WebUI. The corresponding Assignment Block is simply blank.
On the other hand - in the SAPGUI its working like it is mentioned to do.
But it is getting better:
On our test system its working even in the WebUI.
On our prod. system not.
Does somebody of you have any advices/hints for me?

We are facing same problem for change history on webIC except that all changes to
business partner are visible only changes to contract account are not coming in change history.
for e.g if we changed incoming payment method using tcode CAA2 on ISU change is replicating
on CRM but change history is not showing changes made to incoming payment method.
i have already posted question but got no reply's

Change History doesn't work for extended fields in CRM Case

Hi,
I have extended the CRM Case with some new fields but when I change values in any of these new fields, the Change History assignment block doesn't record the old and new values.
Case: UI component/View - CRMCMP_CMG/Header
Change History view : LOGOVERVIEW
Has anyone encountered such an issue? For me it looks like an issue with Standard SAP but couldn't find any releveant OSS notes.

Dear,
I know it's been a while since the question has been raised, but I'm putting the solution just in case someone run into this post.
The solution is simple and does not require any development. In attribute profile that is assigned to case you have to assign your custom developed case attributes and mark the "Log" column as checked (last column).

Business Activity in SAP CRM 7.0 WebUI

Hello SAP Experts,
In SAP CRM 7.0, under maintain activities, I have assigned categories to class interaction log, appointments and tasks.
The same categories have been assigned to some business activities. For example Category Sales Call (001) is assigned to Interaction Log. The sales call is in turn assigned to Transaction Type- Business Activity.
When I log on to web ui, I am able to see this business activity under Interaction Log and create the transaction.
In the same way, when I assign category u2013CX4 (Telephone Call) to class Phone Call to a Transaction Type-Sales Call (0001-business activity), I am not able to see the same in web ui.
The same holds good when categories are assigned to Class Miscellaneous, Letter, Meeting, E-mail etc, are in turn assigned to transaction types are visible in web ui.
Kindly clarify, whether all the business activities fall under APPOINTMENT, INTERACTION LOG, TASK, E-MAIL AND VISIT PLAN in WEB UI.
The other category class, apart from the above mentioned, where can they be used?
If yes, how do I do the customizing which would enable me to see all in WEB UI?

I am facing the same problem. Other than Appointments,Tasks,Email and Interaction record I cannot create any other Activities.
I defined a new Transaction type assigned the category Misc but cannot create the Activity on WEBUI. As Raja suggested I have also assigned the Channel as WEBUI and ICWEBCLIENT but still does not work. Is there any Role specific customization that needs to be performed?
Please let me know if your issue is resolved and how you resolved it.

Getting Interaction center as the default page on the SAP CRM 7.0 webui

Hi,
I have installed SAP CRM 7.0 and done all the basic things. I have assigned Sales Professional and Marketing Professional PFCG roles to my user in SU01. Now when I logon to webui, I am getting interaction center(with all the accept, reject, etc.. buttons) screen as the default screen and I could not locate my sales or marketing professional business roles.
Can anyone please let me know where it went wrong.

No I couldn't see the option to choose the business Roles. I have assigned 4 pfcg roles in SU01 for my user. Also tried with parameter value for CRMC_UIPROFILE=*. But still I could not see the Business roles on the webui page. It is taking me directly to interaction center which is with all the buttons to accept and reject calls.
I have newly installed the system. I believe I have done all the basic things to get into WEBUI. But still couldn't see those assigned business roles on my webui oage.
I have tried this way either. Gone to SE80> BSP Application>CRM_IC-->Execute.......but still it is taking me to interaction center page and not to the assigned business roles.
Please guys let me know where it went wrong.

Okay folks, I'm going to leave this thread here, but let's have an honest discussion on whether this question should have been answered or not?
1) The information requested is found in the release notes for each release. All available on service marketplace.
2) The masterguide for each release of SAP CRM states what's supported and what's required or not and also has note references.
In addition if you read the the thread at the top of this forum that says CRM Webclient UI FAQ - Read this before answering or posting questions then probably this question should not have been asked in the first place.
If you are planning a CRM implementation or need to learn more about a particular release then it's probably a good idea to read the release notes and the master guide for that release. Now that being said this question has been asked a couple of times here, so a search probably would have turned up some results.
I'm making this a sticky so other folks can join in the discussion. We will keep this in this forum for now so we can discuss the behavior expected.

SAP CRM 7.0 WEBUI erroring out while trying to open URL link

We have recently upgraded our CRM system from 6.0 to 7.0. I am currently facing an issue with CRM 7.0 WebUI where I am trying to click on the URL link attached to the activity. When I Click on any URL to open. The link does not open and we get a javascript:void(0) error on the screen.
This issue happens when I access WebUI from client network as well as outside network. I have tried with all browser (IE 8,9,10) to try to analyse the issue but the behavior is not common.

Change User password not working in SAP ME 6.0

Hi,
In SAP ME 6.0 SP01 6.0.1.0 Counter 40, the activity "Change User Password" does not work for me or any other user.
The activity window (Netweaver) shows, but in the top it says "An error occurred - contact system administrator".
This is the output from the default trace file. Seems my user is not authorized, but where do I set this authorization?

Change User Password screen is in fact user self services screen of NW UME and to access it, user must have Manage_My_Password action. Installation and Security Guide ask to assign this action to all roles.

SAPGUI 7.20 PL4: Input history is not working

we're on the way to roll out SAPGUI 7.20 PL4. Now I discoverd a serious bug: Local input history isn't working anymore.
I switched on tracing on SAPGUI to see whats wrong, an the cause is simple: SAPGUI uses comma (,) instead of dot (.) in the generated SQL command for the local MicrosoftJet Database engine. So here is a excerpt from the trace log:

So, I know the bug, I know the case. Whats next step? Is the bug already known to SAP and fixed in the next release or should I open an support case?

Thanks for you answer, but of course I reinstalled it yet (several times). The problem / but shows on every workstation I tested with (Windows XP SP3 32bit and also Windows 7 64bit).
I'm pretty sure the bug is caused by locale setting (we're located in germany). I suppose somewhere deep in the code of SAPGUI is a line like
sprintf(sql, "select foo from bar where fobar > %g", timestamp);
and the programmer isn't aware that there are systems where LC_* isn't set to "C" or something...
Remember, we germans use comma as decimal separator, the rest of the world(?) uses a dot. So if I change the default locale setting on the workstation to use dot (.) as decimal separator, SAPGUI input-history works. But I dont't want to change this setting on >100 workstations (and an don't know if it breaks other software...).
This bug is new in 7.20, with 7.10 we never had this problem.
So I think I will open a support case at SAP.

Mass Change in FBL3N NOT working

Dear All ,
I am using tcode FBL3N to do the Mass Change of the field text (field SGTXT) for all the selected line items.But it is NOT working for reasons unknown. I have searched all the threads in SDN but could not find the solution.
Iam an ABAPER and iam told to find out why the Mass Change is NOT happening. I have debugged the transaction and also searched for all the related SAP notes but could not figure out what exactly the problem is.
Iam NOT sure whether this is the problem from ABAP code or a Functional problem.
In the code the tcode FB02 is being called is this the problem with this ??
If anyone knows the solution plz help me.

Dear All,
The problem is solved.There was an implementation of BTE by the customer in which they were using a COMMIT WORK, which was causing inconsitency to the standard sap functionality (Mass Change thru FBL3N).When we removed this COMMIT WORK,the Mass Change functionality is working fine.

BOM Change Log does not work

The change log for BOMs has been functional since the implementation of B1 in September of 2007. Recently, it appears that the change log is not long keeping track of changes. Has anyone ever seen this before, or have any ideas on how fix this issue?

The maintenance even has been stop by SAP support. The PL upgrade is also unavailable. Maybe you could contact partner around your country ask them about the latest PL of B1 2004B.
if you escalate it to them, I am not sure they will answer.
You need to upgrade to the new version i.e. 2005B. The maintenance is still available.
Anyway, try this query :

To Test ADSUser , when typed pwd wrong too many times, It has locked (checked in Visual Administrator) .
When I unlocked ADSUser , Adobe Interactive Forms working fine .
But when I changed the ADSUser password , now again it is not working .
When we change ADSUser Password , we need to do any other settings ??????

Bookmark and show all history functions not working

After upgrading to FF20 the Bookmarks function button is not working. Star/bookmark this page/import from profiles list don't work. Can see previous bookmark lists in Profile but restore doesn't work. Also when opening history I get the short list but "show all history" brings up same blank library page every time.

ON CHANGE OF is not working for the below case

I had a problem with ON CHANGE OF as below
select * from vbap into gt_vbap where vbeln in s_vbeln.
loop at gt_vbap into ls_vbap where posnr ne '00010'.
   on change of posnr.
   endon.
endloop.
in gt_vbap i have only items 10 & 20 for a Sales Order No so in loop on change of is not triggering because remain line item
is only 20.
can anyone explain me how to solve it

You need not use ON CHANGE OF....
Try using this code:
SORT gt_vbap by posnr.
Get the index of record
READ TABLE gt_vbap into ls_vbap with key posnr = '00010'
             transporting no fields binary search.
if sy-subrc eq 0.
l_index = sy-index.
Read from next line
add 1 to l_index.
Loop at internal table from next line after posnr = '00010'....
loop at gt_vbap into ls_vbap from l_index.
Write your logic in this loop
endloop.
endif.
