SAP customer ID

Hi
I've some issues with the SAP addon installation. When contacted SAP support i was asked to provide my comany's customer ID.
Is the customer ID and the Installation number the same.?
Please let me know how to find the Customer ID

Hi,
No, Customer ID and Installation numbers are different.
You can check your customer ID by below way:
Go to http://service.sap.com/notes
Go to tab Keys & Requests.
There click on Permanent License Request. On Left Hand side There is Customer box (In box you will find customer name along with customer number in bracket)

We're facing some problems after a reconfiguration of some things in Solution Manager. We have SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0. Have made two days ago the installation of the latest SP, but not the kernel yet.

I´m faccing with the same error... I installed the solution manager Ehp1 and it have SPS20 applied which correspond to ST 400 level 20 (SAPKITL430).
When I am in transaction SMSY in section Systems and I press the button "READ SYSTEM NUMBER" is shown an error message that says "SAP customer number unknown for installation" the details of help says:
Diagnosis
Installation number &V1& that is assigned to some system(s) in transaction SMSY is not assigned to an SAP customer number in table AIINSTALLATIONS.
Procedure
Please check the log of background job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT for errors.
So, when I entry in that job log I found this error:
No customer numbers maintained in view V_AISAPCUSTNOS   | AI_SC_EN   | 106
Then I went in table/view V_AISAPCUSTNOS and inside does not contain any data!!!
All the notes I found were related to lower versions and so I could not implemented the snotes corrections!! Any notes for my release that are related with this problem?
Joao Cesar what you did for solve this problem??? You didn´t mentioned!! You only mentioned that you implemented some notes.. but which ones?!!?

Partner functions for SAP Customer Master

I am in the MDM solution definition phase for SAP Customer Master at one of our Cients place. The requirement is to set up a central master data scenario where creation & modification of any customer record will be done via MDM. The following components of Netweaver are in the landscape - SAP MDM, EP, XI.
I need clarification on the following points -
- Is it possible to set up the partner function in MDM, if so, how?
- Need to replicate the standard SAP functionality where the system can be configured to create Ship To, Payer, Bill To automatically when a Sold To record is created. Is this possible? Are there any work arounds?

Partner Function comes under Condition Technique in SAP ECC.here some config has to be done.
For mapping it in MDM, First create a Qualified Table - Partner Function.Determine the Non-Qualifiers and Qualifiers.Then as said by Suresh, u need Java API stuff to complete this task and frontend being EP.

It can be done using EP as front end and Java API to dertermine the partner based on the account group.

You are not recognized as a user in the SAP customer notification system

Hello,
we are in OSS registered as CCC. I am able to send notifications from our SolMan to OSS with components(instalations) which are registered under out SAP customer number(our SolMan instalation etc.).
When I want to sned notification for our customers to OSS but with component of our customer(he has another SAP number, his instalation) then I got an error message
You are not recognized as a user in the SAP customer notification system:

Message no. DNO158
Diagnosis
No address data exists for this logon user in the SAP problem notification system.
The function you activated could not be executed.
Activated function Diagnosis
Send notification to SAP The notification was saved, but could

reflect the SAP version.
Check for changes The system cannot compare the notification
with the current version at SAP.

Hi,
There are several types of customer blocks (search for "block" in table KNA1) each of which have a check table associated with it. For example, table TVFS contains billing blocks (KNA1-FAKSD), table TVLS contains delivery blocks (KNA1-LIFSD), TVAST contains central order blocks (KNA1-AUFSD), etc.

SAP Customer Exit - Customer Namespace (i.e. /ABC/)

Hi ABAP Experts,
The question I would like to ask is when taking advantage of a SAP customer exit, can you assign the work to a customer namespace (i.e. /ABC/) ?
The problem seems to be that we want the majority of our custom development in our customer reserved namespace i.e. /ABC/. Yet, to activate a customer exit, the ABAP code follows the old "Z" standard. For example, customer exit EXIT_RMMR01RS_003 has the include ZXM08U03. To activate this exit, one would create the include ZSM08U03 and include customer code. Unfortunately, the include ZSM08U03 can't be assigned to a package with /ABC/.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i dont think so. the reserved name spaces are for specific vendor products, while exits are for all customers.so exits would not be able to use a reserved name space.. but within that exit ZXM08U03 you can create another include using /ABC/ name space

Multiple SAP Customer Numbers but i want Single SAP Customer Number

after patching solutionmanager 7.0 from 12 to 17 follwing error occured,
solution manager is switched from Single Customer Number to Multiple Customer number. but why ?
Now i must Create new RFC Destination for Mulpiple SAP Customer Number otherwise the Maintenance Optimizer won´t work.
Can I switch it back to Single Customer number.
any ideas ?

Logon with your S-user and enter service marketplace then go to profile and in authorizations there you can see your customer number under which you have different installations.

Sap customizing template to FI-CA and PS-CD

We had activate FI-CA and PS-CD components in SAP ECC 6.0 EHP4. The system have already 200 and 210 Clients before of the activation.
We do not find the SAP delivery Customizing and sample customizing in those clients, it is only in client 000.
I need to copy the delivery customizing to other existing client. Although I have checked note 337623, I still don't understand exactly what should i do?
What is the procedure to copy it into other clients?
Any advise or any guide documents?

I do not understand how apply this solution in my system. We have ECC 6.0 EHP and we do not need create a new client. The client were already before FI-CA and PS-CD activation.
I read the sap note Note 859893 - SEM-BCS 6.0: Activating the SAP delivery example. How I can use the report UC_CONTENT_ACTIVATE to activate FI-CA and PS-CD components? What is the activation BOM?

[Ask] SAP Customer Message Costly?

Gurus,
I'm curious about one thing, especially after reading Solution Manager service delivery platform.
Is it that you should be careful when sending message to SAP?
What I mean by 'be careful' is, is it that when you send message, asking a question to SAP Global, using, for example component BC-DB-ORA, you get charged of it?
What I'm pretty confused is, customer paid SAP for enterprise support. So which message, under what circumstances will be charged to customer? And if it is 'chargeable message', will SAP inform you first about it?
Employees in my company said that all message except component xxx- will be charged $250.
Well, is that true? And just how free can we get support from SAP?
It'll be nice if solution manager is used as service desk, then when there's problem, for example from end users, it'll be sent to SAP, and SAP give recommendation. As part of the service of course.
Can someone light me up about this Customer Message price scheme, please?

As always with SAP licensing, "It depends".
Most customers of SAP also pay for a support contract. Generally, the support you get for free and the support you get for fee is spelled out in your contract. For standard support, you get virtually unlimited messages with SAP for free, as long as the subject deals with standard functionality (they won't help you with custom programs, or at least they won't do it for free). And yes, my experience is that they always tell you when you will be charged. I never heard the $200-per-call-for-non-xxx-messages deal, but I have always been blessed to work under an ongoing support contract. Basically, the contract supports any module for which we own a licence.
You really need to talk to your SAP Account manager. He can tell you in layman's terms what your support contract (if any) covers.

What is the RDS for SAP Customer Service (CS) Module

I am about to implement SAP CS Module (Customer Service) within my ECC 6.0 EHP 6. But I do not have the Budget (over 100 000 Euros) to run a classic implementation. SAP Custom Code Maintainability Service - SAP AG only

As an Enterprise support customer I have a quick question on Custom Code Maintainability Service
We have previously requested this service from SAP and they have generated and gave us the report.
My question:
Is this service ONLY being done by SAP, or are we (as customers) also allowed to run this service ourselves?.
When I look in the services available I cannot find the service to create and run myself. I am currently putting in some serious time to set-up the custom code life cycle management (CCLM). As part of this I would also like to run the service and generate the report myself, as I have done with some other service like TEA (Transport execution analysis)
I have no problems with using CDMC (Custom development management cockpit) and to generate reports there, but it would be nice to actually run the service and generate the report ourselves.
