SAP e Impresora Epson 880+

Hola a todos, estamos configurando un formato de factura preimpresa, cuando lo mandamos a la impresora Epson 880+ las letras salen muy grandes, queremos que sean mas pequeñas, ya intentamos moverle a la configuracion de la impresora pero en cuanto mandamos a imprimir algo regresa a su configuracion original.... de letras enorme, ¿Alguna sugerencia?

En el menu archivo>diseño de pagina>boton impresora, debes elegir la impresora epson 880
luego en el layout de documento que estas imprimiendo debes cambiar el formato de todos los campos (tipo de font) a un font que se llama "draft 17" o "draft 20", asi se soluciona el problema.
las otras ltras son graficas y se imprime com graficas, con este cambio ahorraras tiempo de imrpesion.

Driver SAP impresora HP Laserjet Pro P1102W

Hola, buenas tardes.
Alguno posee o conoce de donde se puede obtener el driver para instalar en SAP la impresor HP modelo Laserjet Pro P1102W.
He entrado a la página de HP: http://h71028.www7.hp.com/enterprise/cache/37011-0-0-0-121.html pero no he encontrado nada.

Prueba con el HP LaserJet series, este probablemente te funciona, sino intenta realizarlo con los genericos que ya tiene SAP.

Printing problem with printer EPSON 1070+

Hi ,
I am printing Document using SAP smartforms on EPSON 1070+ Printer. The device type used for task is EPESCP.
Page foramt I am using is DIN3.
When print is taken on specified printer it is printing all content of document in one font and not in the font which has been attached part of text.Document is display properly(text in different fonts) in print preview,but output on actual printer comes differently.
What should be done to correct problem ?

Hi Amit,
Have you checked by printing Word document on same printer??...
If the right part of the paper still left blank, then margin setting of the printer in windows has problem,
Otherwise check it in SPAD only.
Also check your Margin settings at printer.

Epson printer utility

I'm trying to use the aligning print head utility for my epson 880 printer. When I click Page Setup from the file menu, my printer manual shows that I am suppose to see a utility button icon in the dialog box. But I don't! Where is this icon??

Hi zez,
Welcome to the Discussions.
Are you sure it says Page Setup and not Printer Setup? Go to System Preferences>Print & Fax and click on the Printer Setup button. Highlight the 880 if you have more than one printer and the Utility icon is at the top.
Just go to yourharddrive/Library/Printers/Epson/Utilities and drag the Epson Utility icon to the Dock. That way it's always just a click away.

How Can I Network My New Printer?

My trusty Epson 880 printer finally gave up the ghost and I replaced it with a very basic Epson Stylus T20E sold here in Thailand. One of the immediate disappointments is that I could not print wirelessly, as I had with the Epson 880, using my Airport Express. The printer shows in Airport Express, but I keep getting a message about a communications error. I've pretty much given up on trying to get it to work wirelessly and now have it plugged in via USB to my iBook.
I also have a Mac Mini and without the wireless connection have not been able to print at all. The USB cord is not long enough to reach it. Since the two Macs are networked, I thought that I could perhaps use the Airport Express network connection to as a conduit to the USB connected printer on the iBook. I have print sharing enabled on both Macs, but even after identifying the T20E as a shared printer, when I try to print something, the app, in this case TextEdit, I get the beach ball and have to Force Quit the app. Why shouldn't this networked connection work?
Let me add two things. First, the Mini is running Tiger and the iBook is running Leopard. I wouldn't think that should make a difference. Second, I have not installed any drivers for the T20E on the Mini --- since this is a new model, they certainly wouldn't be there already on the Mini running Tiger. I would have thought that since I am networking and since the drivers are on the iBook, which is connected to the printer, it isn't necessary to have the drivers on the Mini. Are those valid assumptions? Should I install the drivers on the Mini? I should also add that when I was trying to troubleshoot the problem with getting the printer to work with Airport Express, I could see the T20E in Bonjour.
Transferring print files between the Mini and the iBook with a thumb drive is a real step backwards and any suggestions on how to use the network to reach the printer attached to the iBook would sure be appreciated.

Is there any way you could use Ethernet to network the printer(s)
and computers so they'd have an address similar to an IP address?
If there is an Ethernet port on the printer, as many have, this may be
a way to see if networking can be done in a suitable configuration for
use in your local network.
One would think what you have tried, using one computer as a printer
base and sending the print order to it, and have that do the work, could
do the job; but for some reason, or lack of compatibility, it's not doing it.
Could a different brand of wireless print server work with the printer you
have, where the AirPort wireless does not? A second question would be
something to the effect: would the Mac then work with that other product.
These are things I do not know; but understand the frustration in all this.
Are there any other possible printer drivers which could allow for better
compatibility with a printer to get it to be used as a wireless printer with
the AirPort base station? Gimp or GutenPrint open source, or perhaps
some shareware source of drivers may have something. Trial & error?
I have one printer that appreciates the AirPort Bonjour connection and
another that just can't figure it out; so the printer I wanted to be wireless
isn't and the one very close is. The portable computer can use it, too.
Well, that's an unfortunate situation; and maybe there is a workaround
which does not include having to get another printer. A list of printers
which were compatible with wireless printing over AirPort had been
available at some point; I saw one a few years ago. There must be an
updated list available, perhaps through Apple Support documents...?

Hi,
Incase of dot matrix printers only limited printers are supported by sap b1 like Epson - FX890,Citizen ProDot 30,Epson FX880.
Refer note:724904 for instructions printing in sap b1using dot matrix printers.
More over you have to set the alignment(as often it gets changed).
And as most of the dot matrix use continuous printing sheets,it would be a tedious job to make the PLD alignment.
Whereas in case of laser printer you can easily do the alignment as it would in A4 size.
I suggest you to go for laser printer if it is affordable by client.

No me permite imprimir via RDP

Saludos a todos!!!
Quisiera saber si me pudieran ayudar con este problema que se me esta presentando con SBO, desde las estaciones de trabajo via Terminal Server no me permite imprimir, solo me deja imprimir por las impresoras EPSON LX-300, del resto me da el siguiente error "The printed page could not be ended", la aplicacion corre bajo Windows Server 2008 Enterprise R2.

Te comento algo quiza te sirva de ayuda. Estamos pensando trabajar atraves de terminal y para eso hicimos unas pruebas de impresion bueno ami si me funciono bien pero me comentaron que con las impresoras USB hay algunos problemas para la impresion atraves de terminal, pero ya es un tema del terminal.
Como te comento a mi me fue bien imprimiendo en una HP 1020 USB, al parecer con modelos recientes, el tema esta como te comentan en agregar los drivers al servidor.
Por otro lado yo tengo problemas con el Addon BBP de Peru cuando me conecto via terminal me sale un error con este addon y no lo carga. Pero en el servidor su funciona normal alguien me puede ayudar por favor (El servicio terminal esta en un Servidor Windows 2008 R2)

PROBLEMAS DE IMPRESIÓN

Hola. Mi impresora EPSON no me deja imprimir documentos en PDF. Me aparece un mensaje preguntándome si la impresora está disponible. El caso es que el resto de documentos, incluyendo fotografías me los imprime perfectamente. Al tratarse de una impresora nueva pensé que algo fallaba y contacte con el Servicio Técnico. La impresora está bien. Me dicen que se tratar de permisos, derechos o incomptabilidad de mi portátil.
¿Alguien puede ayudarme a solucionar este cuestión?.

Entiendo que imprimes desde otras aplicaciones tipo Office archivos de texto, por ejemplo, no?
Los PDF los puedes abrir con el programa Acrobat Reader instalado? Desde este programa mandas a imprimir a tu impresora?
Aparece esta, su nombre, en una ventana en el cuadro de impresión?
Llegado aquí, comprueba las opciones disponibles, al pulsar sobre la tecla Imprimir, da algun mensaje u error?
verifica que está bien instalada una versión reciente de Acrobat Reader, desinstala antes la que tengas, si lo vas a instalar de nuevo u otra más reciente en el Panel de Control.

Si esta es la mala política, usted es responsable en la tienda para probar que la impresora está funcionando. Parece que lo que usted está tratando de hacer es vender y conseguir el dinero para los productos en mal estado y después de evadir la responsabilidad de la garantía. Usted hace la venta y se obtiene el margen de la venta por lo que es usted responsbility para cumplir con la garantía. Yo no compro la impresora para Epson i compré a usted pensar que usted es la mejor manera, pero ahora me doy cuenta que estoy equivocado. Voy a apreciar que alguien en su departamento de la satisfacción del cliente se toman el tiempo para responder a este correo y explicar por qué si yo compré directamente a usted, no para epson u otro distribuidor que tengo que iniciate este proceso complican directamente a epson para obtener la nueva impresora.

EPSON LQ - 2180 ESC/P2 : print setting problem from SAP b1 8.8 PL 19

Hi All,
we are SAP Business One Customer, I have created Crystal Report and using Printer : 'EPSON LQ - 2180 ESC/P2',
I have selected Same Printer in Printer Option
Orientation is 'Portrait'
Paper Size 'US Std Fanfold'
but print out comes in Vertical Format, we want to print it in Horizontal format
I Tried many times in Landscape and Portrait format but print comes in Vertical format.
I have checked some following conditions:
1. If printer is in 'Portrait' format then test print is OK..
2. If Crystal Report is in 'Portrait' format then test print is OK..... directly print from Crystal Report
3. whenever I take print out from SAP B1 for same Crystal Report with same setting but print comes in vertical format.
I am attaching Print Setup screen print with this mail, pls kindly find the attachment.
Pls give me feasible Solution as soon as possible.

when you say S-Account, this account is needed when we use the SAP Portal. Contact your SAP Partner to get your S-Account. regarding the note i will quote it here
1535606 - Printer preference setting for the Crystal Layouts
Symptom
Print Crystal Report layout does not consider Business One (B1) printer preferences changed by user before printing.
In order to enable B1 to make print preferences changes in application the Crystal Report Layout must have ticked off the "Dissociate Formatting page Size and Printer Paper Size" option in page setup.
The following preferences are enabled for the Crystal Reports Layouts:
1. Orientation: "Portrait" or "Landscape".
Note! In case the report is too wide to fit on rotated page, error message is returned.
2. Document Options: Duplex printing (Print on both sides).
3. Paper Options: Paper size.
Note! The options Custom Size will not be considered by B1.
Note! In case it is not possible to print on some paper size error message is returned.
4. Paper/Quality: Print Quality/Printer Resolution, Paper Source.
5. Color Options.
Note! Crystal does not resize the report to fit the selected paper or format.

Epson LX-300+II with sap

Dear gurus,
                     I had setup epson LX-300+II with sap with following parameter
                                  Device Type :EPESCP9 :EPSON ESC/ P 9PIN PRINTER
                                  host spool Access method : G:Front End Print with Control Tech
                                  Host Printer:_Default
                   there is a page format which is assign to EPSCEP9.
Print successful. but it will no print Table and box on the page...Please solve my Issue.....

My guess would be that the device type definition is missing the print controls that you need.
I don't know that particular printer type but try to look into the device type-dependent print controls defined in txn. SPAD and see if it contains the controls to draw a box etc. If not, then you will probably have to copy and enhance the print control set.
Hopefully you do have the detailed manual for the printer...

Problem in sap script check printing with EPSON FX890 printer

I am trying to print a check through F-58 using a script.
We have a new EPSON FX890 dot matrix printer, But when I fire a check the the formatting of the check is not proper. The alignment is never the same as given in the SAP script. this could a problem with the printer set up and configuration in SAP. Could anybody please give me some inputs on what needs to be done. its Urgent. Can anybody give me what needs to be done and also guide me with Print control commands in SAP scripts

Hi,
Here is some steps you should follow for scripts printout.
1. Validate the drivers used in SAP (Tcode SPAD)
2. Are you printing through a print server or directly to the printer
3. If it is througha print server like windows, you should validate to have the right driver installed for that printer.
4. Validate on the printer the default setting. If the script doesn't sent the proper font or setup, it will print using the last setup sent to the printer.
So if somebody used work and print a specific document with different setting, some time the setting stays for the SAP report.
To validate the setup of the printer, just turn off and on the printer before sending the SAP form. That should help to see if the setup has been changed by another program.
I hope those simple steps will help to solve your problem.

Aperture 2.1 not printing to Epson Color 880

After upgrading to 2.1, I am unable to print any photos to my Epson Stylus Color 880. I never had this problem with version 1. This is very frustrating. Can anyone help me?

I also have an R380 and was having the same problem. i downloaded the latest printer driver and now I can print; but the prints come out darker than the previews and I can't get them any lighter. I never had this problem with Aperture 1. This is the first Apple product that I've had this many problems with
