IW28-Create PM order with Notification List
    Result Recording
    QE17-Record Result for Inspection lot
QA11-Record Usage Decision for Inspection lot

    Hi Kent999
    Process :
Equipment Calibration will be planned as a single cycle plan and scheduling will be done using Scheduling Parameters.
Calibration order will be created through dead line monitoring functionality and system will generate Inspection lot. Based on the master inspection characteristic parameters and sampling procedure inspection lot will be processed. Results of the testing will be recorded and valuated. System will provide an indication whether the parameters are with in the acceptable limits and usage decision can be taken for acceptance / rejection of the calibration.
Maintenance order can be confirmed, technically completed.
    Steps :
u2022     Create task list with Inspection points & MIC
u2022     Create Single Cycle Plan for Test Equipment -- If applicable
u2022     Assign the Task list with Master Inspection Characteristic
u2022     Schedule the plan using the scheduling parameters -- If applicable
u2022     Using Dead line Monitoring function Schedule the Plan -- If applicable
u2022     Release the Calibration Order Generated by the system and Check the Inspection Lot.
u2022     Process the Inspection Lot and Record the results
u2022     Confirm the operations of the calibration order.
u2022     Valuate the results and take Usage decision, automatic technically completion of order.

  • Calibration status for equipment

    Hi,
I want to know the calibration status of equipment.i.e anytime if i want the status i should get it.is there any standard functionality for this.?

    Hi,
Through User Status, you can check the current status of the Equipment i.e., whether the equipment is available or under calibration.
If you want to see no. of times, the particular equipment calibrated, go to IW39, give the Calibration Order Type & Equipment No and select all the options (In process, completed, etc.,), so that you can list the orders created.
    Regards,
    Maheswaran.

  • Requirement in equipment calibration

    Dear All,
I have some requirement in the equipement calibration as given below.
    1)  Next call date should be less than 1 day for the next call . Means if my cycle time is 1 month, and start of cycle is on 15th then next plan date should be 1 day before, next call should be on 14 of next month and further moving ahead it should be on 13 on the next month and so on. Is it possible in standard SAP or any custom development.
    2) Next call date should be based upon the UD date. Means if my cycle time is 1 month, and start of cycle is on 15th. Now in this case if i completed inspection lot processing on 20th then next call should be calculated based upon the UD date and it should be 20th of next month.
How these two scenerio can be handled.
    Regards
    Amit

    Hi Jogeswara,
    Thanks for the updates.
Just want to ask you another query that, in case of fixed date scheduling
system will generate the call on fixed date of each month. e. g every 15th day
of each month in case of monthly schedule. But if I started the schedule on
31st then system will generate the next call on 30 of next month and it will
call on 28 in case of Feb month and then it will continue to generate calls on
28th date only. But my business requires to generate call in the
    last day of the month.
In this scenario how to handle the situation.

    Amit

  • Work Status tables missing

    Hi All,
We have two tables in our production system SAP dictionary whose
database table entries are missing. SAP Note # 33814 does not make a

for object key while trying to delete dictionary entries
could you tell me why these generated tables are missing from oracle database?

    Please advice.

Hi Raghu, Not sure why the tables got deleted from the underlying database, but those can be recreated using Database Utilities(transaction SE14).

    Hi,
The problem is that the SAP table doesn't support this kind of "dynamic binding" at the moment. The SAP table can contain any one of several controls in each cell, and these controls have several possible properties to bind to. So currently you have to "tell" the table what you want to bind to.
    You have several options:
    1. The easiest option, if you can create a typed dataset in design-time, according to what your webservice returns, then do that... and then put an instance of it on your portal component, and bind your table to that typed dataset (using the designer property grid). This should create a default ItemTemplate with all textViews in the cells, and the texts will be bound to the columns.
    2. Write code in ItemCreated Event handler of the table. This event will be raised for each row in the DS. There you can tell the cells to get the data from the content. Remember that you'd have to create the cells according to the number of columns and set the content of each cell to be what control you want (like TextView) and then fill the properties of that control.
    3. If you know the Data structure, but don't want to or can't create a typed DataSet - First define the columns using the designer (right click the table, select "edit columns"). Then in the event handler (from "2") just set the property "text" of each TextView which is in the content of each cell (use the Cell's property "TableCellContent" to get to the TextView control)
    4. Don't use databinding and create the table contents completely manually (See here -
How to modify cells in a table?)
One last thing, here's a link to some more explanations about DataBinding in SAP controls:
    https://media.sdn.sap.com/html/submitted_docs/PDK_for_dotNET_10/Programming%20with%20PDK%20for%20.NET/SAP%20NetWeaver%20.NET%20Controls/Data%20Binding/Complex%20Data%20Binding.htm
If you choose a solution and need more help, just ask.

  • Populating a load-status table from SQL*Loader

    Hello,
I am using SQL*LDR to load a table and once I'm done with this load I am supposed to populate a status table which will capture the 'SYSDATE', and the total number of rows I loaded in the other table.
    Can anybody help me?
    Thanks

BTW, the load-status table would take the error-record-count as well as the load-count?
    Sorry missed that earlier!

what is the main use of the message status table in abap?

    hi venki,
'NAST' is a transaparant table. It is the table for Message
status. It consists of applicationof message conditions,
    message type, message language etc.
1)To know the status of a message we need this field
2)To print the status code in the Script are.
    3) by creating internal table field type while creating the

  • Error QE503- in QE11 transaction (results acquisition) for Equipment calibration

    Hi Gurus
I'm working on QM-PM environment to set-up a Equipment Calibration process.
I've defined a  routing for Equipment, and I've linked few Quantitative Inspection characteristics to the PM Order Operation.
When I run IP10 to schedule the Maintenance plan defined for the equipment, the system create fine a Lot Inspection.
When I try to set the inspection result using QA32/QA11 the system isssue the Error  "QE503-Enter a valuation for this qualitative characteristic"
rather Inspection charactristics are defined QUANTITATIVE !!
    Where is the error ??
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Claudio

    Hello ,
Whenever you are working in QM/PM environment , your using inspection point as well as define sampling procedure in task list so that inspection lot created w.r.t equipment. Now because you are using inspection point w.r.t equipment i.e. 300 then definitely you check and if not maintained then maintain the inspection point valuation in QM customizing in plant level settings.
Before UD it is required to put the valuation against the inspection point and then post the UD.
goto QM---> Basic setting---> Plant level---> Define inspection point valuation.
Now, as you said this is related to MIC, please provide the screen shot of Error message. If any assignment is there then system will provide you the MIC number for which it is required.
Another, check whether you selected the correct task list or not. i.e. same Grp but different grp counter. it may possible that mistakenly you selected the another grp counter.
Check all master data first, and then go to customizing part for correction.

  • Geographical attributes are stored in SAP equipment/functional master data?

    Hi gurus,
I Need to Understand how the  typical geographical/spatial attributes are stored in SAP equipment/functional master, and how they are stored. Is it through enhancement with customer fields or through classification?
Please through some lights on this
    regards
    Krish

You can create new tab's using User exit : ITOB0001 or use of address(Ctrl+F5) search  term field 1/2 .. you can use to store the geographical/spatial attributes or via classification as PeteA mentioned.
    Thanks
