SAP Exam-C_TADM51_04

Dear all,
Im interested in doing C_TADM51_04 (SAP WEBAS for Oracle) and want to know what is the difference between the Associated level and the Professional level in the exam/ certification.
Because I found that for this course also we have to follow the same book set for the professional level course. Hence what is the difference between the exams and how you evaluate level?
Also please let me know what the pass mark of this course is as well. Please let me know the details ASAP since I have to ready for the exam soon.

I gave certification in Java with Netweaver 7.0. This consist of EJBs, java and webdynpro.The qs they ask covers from the course books only.they dont ask direct questions. The qs they ask simply check ur hold on the subject.
So in my opinion:
1)Do we need to memorize the books or with the overall idea about area can we pass the exam--
if you have an overall idea its beneficial but you should go through the books atleast thrice and practice simple appl if possible.I mean u shud hv idea of each and everything that is mentioned in the course books even if u dnt hv practical exp.
2) If you are working in SAP and have some hands on exp then i dnt think there is need for training but if u dnt hv ne idea then do attend the training.
3)About the qs they basically give u a long list of choices and u have to chose the appropriate one. It can be single or multiple choice.In our case for multiple choice qs they didnt told how many to chose for eg.chose 3 or smthing like dat.It was jst given chose multiple and there were upto 9 options in some qs.So this thing made the exam a bit tough to score.Rest if you have an idea of whatever is in the course list you can easily farewell in the exam.

it is not there, rather than going on simulator exam, do the pra ctice execrises throughly which are given in sap siemens books it will help to clear the exam very easily.donot waste time on searching in google for simulator exam, i am giving this advice as a friend.

1. ABAP
2.Java
3. Oracle
Do we have cutoff for each section in order to pass this exam?
or the total of three section is 70%.

SAP most unproffessional with certs --plz beware before taking exams

SAP is the most unprofessional when it comes to certifications...One of my friends had to resit the ABAP exam after scoring 82%..reason being the system didnt store his exam results after the exam was over due to some technical problem , he says the exam invigilator was present in the room only at the start of the exam,at the end of the 3 hrs exam my friend was the only guy in the entire SAP office(exam centre)... of course if some one was still there in the exam centre to at least show them the results may be he would have passed....
I dont really think its my friends responsibility to save the results or show someone the results at the end of the exam, i think taking a picture would be against copyrights..
And then SAP emails him saying , he has to retake the exam for their mistake..I think professional orgs would have accepted their mistake and ethically award the certification to him
A professional ERP leader should have used competitive exam systems and processes which wouldnt cause such stupid problems to the exam taker isnt it?
Who would like to travel interstate and bear the expenses to write the SAP exams with no professional use, except for a label on the resume...No organization thinks that an SAP certified professional is good to directly work practically on the SAP system in real time..
And also remember that you will only get your certification only when SAP pleases to release certifications from Germany, so you dont really have a certificate to say you have passed the exam...
Tips: dont take the exam, if you do -beware of all tech probs you could be faced with during the exam and after the exam.... And you dont have a say-its all what they say is right..

SAP MM Certification - Statements

I saw in some questions to test my knowledge that the questions informs how many statements should be marked or how many are corrects. I'd like to know if the SAP exam also informs this quantity, for example: there are 3 statements corrects. Or the exam only says: Mark the correct answers:

Hello Rodrigo,
If they are multiple answer questions, it would be informed the number of questions that are correct.
You cannot select more correct answers than the question mentioned.
However, you may select less correct questions, but in that case you have answered partially, hence you would get nil marks.

I am Chartered Accountant and having 2 years of domain experience. I have completed my training from a small institute that is not SAP partner. I have very good hold on SAP FI and CO modules and want to appear for SAP FI certification. I DID SELF STUDY AND I AM TOO MUCH CONFIDENT ON THE SUBJECT.

Elgibility for Certification:
You should either complete your training in any Authorized Training Center or Should have experience of more than 2 years(not sure if it is 2 or 3 now) in the said module.
If you dont have any of the above, then certification wont happen in India.

I took this exam about a year ago.
There is still a great block of questions concerned with the "Basics" of ABAP (Example: Which statements are allowed to modify a sorted itab? INSERT = yes, APPEND = no, because sorting could be violated).
A good knowledge of the basic concepts of ABAP-OO are of course useful. In our exam nothing was asked about Bsp, and only a single question about WebServices.
I can highly recommend the following Weblog by Thomas Jung as (additional) preparation for the exam.

The cut-off is 70% for passing the exam (guess that's true for all SAP exams).
Last remark: one of our junior consultants which had no experience with SAP before (but had a good knowledge of Java) passed the exam (after 3 months preparation) with 82%.

But could you please tell me why I didn't receive Certification ID as Hard Copy " I mean as baseness card" ?
because I got from Oracle institute an Certification Card when I passed the Oracle Exams.

The Certificate (hard copy of A4 size) from SAP is the only document that we get after certification.
There is nothing like a business card.
That is the reason you can ask for a logo from SAP which you can put on your business cards/other media.

THINK BEFORE DOING SAP CERTIFICATION

I am amit..
having 84% and 75% in highschool and intermediate
having 70% in btech mech
having 6 years of automotive experience
having passed certification in PP with 60%
STILL NOT A SINGLE INTERVIEW CALL(only two introductory call from recruiters) for interview after 4 months of certification..very pathetic condition
i have also left my job as i found studying difficult during job and institute said me there are lot of jobs for fresher..but now when i have done it after donating 250000/- rs to them..they even not entertaining my mails and saying to me that you are not patience..
days are passing and no call from anyside
SAP certification in india has no value if considered alone but if done with previous SAP experience then it will be beneficial..
Freshers in sap (even they have certification) will get no jobs..its clear..
You can get job in SAP certification as a fresher when
1. you have jack in a company
2. Your luck is bright
DO SAP certification
1. When you are in that SAP field( i am forcing on SAP word ) in which you are doing certification cuz everyone wil ask you in introductory call that have you worked earlier in SAP After that their technical questions which you have to pass
2.Or you have sure jack..
Its not worth the money..your life will be toooooo hard after this certification..better will be stick to your job and invest this money in MBA or business somewhere..

To answer your questions,
As I enrolled with SAP Education partner for the training and certification, I received the SAP authored and published books. These books are divided based on each week's training goals and concentrate completely on the clear understanding than just clearing exams.
I happened to ask institute as well as the trainer if they can share some dummy questions/ mock test papers, but all of them replied that questions will be based only and only on the books. All I am supposed to do is study religiously, which I did not but yes, I gave the best of mine.
I would like to note here the method of examination held by SAP because it may shed a light on some false claims of portals/institutes/organizations/individuals about providing SAP "so called" certification dumps.
Exam is held in presence of a proctor who is an SAP employee. He/She carries out a thorough check of attendees identity. The questions that appear on your screen are fetched nearest SAP exam server (I am from India so in my case the nearest servers belonged to Singapore). This server has bank of 1000+ questions related to a module and are fetched into the examination session created by you at random, so there's no guessing as to which question you'll really face. Sounds too dramatic, I know, but yes, that's how it is.
Now to answer your second question.....
The biggest help I could take from SCN at that moment was regarding, how to tackle the whole issue of coping with examination stress. I belong to modest means, so a lot of money was at stake for me. There are already very well written documents on SCN about do's and dont's on making it though training and certifications. I'll not go into that one because, It's altogether a different ball game and people with more than 3-4 certification have shared their experience (mine's just one) which I think is more elaborate and well... experienced.

I have taken the certification exam last year through sap teched 2007.
Now this year i want to take the exam only but i dont want to attend teched this year.
I have gone to pearson vue site to register for the exam. However while registering it is asking for Pearson vue test ID.
I dont know which is pearson vue test id?

If you gain experience as a SAP consultant for 2 years (i think it is for 2 years) the company which you are employed with, can authorize you to write the certification exam
You will take or may take exam along with some batch which has just completed SAP Training From Siemens or may be any other reputed institutes
So the paper and pattern is same
Suppose if in that exam center if there are 25 persons taking SD exam (say 20 from Siemens and 5 directly by experience) there may be 5 to 7 set of questionners
So your friend may not get the same set of qns but someother in that exam hall will have exactly the same set of qns as you are getting
But SAP exam assesmentwise is the same for both siemens trained freshers and the experienced people like you
Absolutely on Basics and standard business processes defined by the standard SAP and you can expect qns also from the screen shots which will be nowhere written in any material and that will test how familiar that you are with that screen
