I am new to this world of SAP FICO. I have taken training on SAP FICO, but was wondering if anyone can direct me where I can get additional reading materials. I have found couple of pdf files and looking for more.

SAP Academy material not available Arabic language... I think SAP mateiral availabel in both German and English.
If any third party / client prepared or translated the required end user educational material into Arabic with help of Arabic knowl consultants working in ME, you can get from them. But complete no.

Dear,
SAP FICO Functional means functional knowledge, by which one can proceed in terms of functional process with FICO area as well as FICO configuration knowledge.
Whereas SAP FICO Technical consultant may be an ABAPER, who have short of knowledge of FICO configuration and functional knowledge as well and can proceed for technical jobs e.g. reports development, client requirement, system modification etc.

As per module in FICO, AR, AP,AA,GL there is already business process present in SAP database. As of now, many releases have been out in the net especially good sites. I am recommending you the following links, but before you go to FICO be sure that you have a good background in accounting.
As you read that, You will need the glossary of terms to the words used in SAP FICO.

This is not the appropriate place for posting availbility for jobs; BUT, we could still make this a useful thread.
We have many folks post that they've graduated from college and would LIKE to get a chance to learn some SAP, but can't seem to get that initial break.
How did you manage to get picked up on a real project straight out of college? Were you recruited directly while you were still in school? Was this a paid position? An internship? Did you have any SAP training prior to getting the job? If not, did you receive any training after getting the job?
Please tell us more as there are many, many folks on this forum that would love to be in your shoes.
So...
as far as finding sponsorship for H1B visa...
Let me sugest a different way to approach this which is actually allowable in this forum.
If you ask... "What is the best way to get H1B sponsorship for US VISA?" Then you might get some useful answers.
My suggestion is to google "H1B sponsorship SAP",
When you do that, you'll get a bunch of links for job openings from companies willing to sponsor H1B visas.
There are other ways to do this as well.
I have heard (but do not have direct experience) about companies that will sponsor your visa as an "employer of record" (EOR). This requires a bit of explanation. I am a US citizen and use a company (which doesn't sponsor H1B visas) as an employer of record. (In Europe, they call this umbrella corporation, I believe). The way it works, is that I am essentially an independent contractor. I drum up my own business as a freelance consultant. Once I've lined up the gig, the EOR handles all of the billing, invoicing, collections, and payroll. They make sure all of the correct taxes are withheld, etc. I also have access to their insurances (errors & omisions, liability, etc) which is generally required of independent consultants as well as benefits like long term disability, short term disability, life insurance, etc. I used to use their health insurance as well, but now I use insurance that I purchased through the "Obamacare" health exchange.
For the privilege, the EOR takes a percentage of your gross revenues. In my case, it's quite reasonable. In the case of an H1B sponsor EOR, my guess is they take a pretty big chunk.
Anyway, I wish you luck on your search. Please post your resume on an appropriate job board (Monster, Dice, indeed, etc) and LinkedIn for future job search actions.

Starting with SAP FICO

Dear,
Plz guide me on Starting with SAP FICO.
I am engineering graduate & wants to work on SAP FICO.
Completed studying -- Accounting for Non Accountants.
But now i am in a dilemma as for now which topic to start with.
Someone says TFIN20, TFIN22, TFIN50 etc & some says to start with AC205 series Pdf's.
So plz guide me step by step method as to which Pdf book should be started - from starting to end to learn SAP FICO in serial order.
Also do provide me links for the updated pdf's of SAP FICO ECC 6.0.

until you work on it and solve some real time problems you don't get full knowledge in SAP module. so try to work on SAP system.asking for authorized books/links is against the Rules of SDN forum. search for FI & co (separate certification for both) in GOOGLE, SDN. you will get so many links & documents.

You have already started your course and more than that, you have a good interest on the subject. Most probably in few months time, you will be in SCN to give advise to others.
Keep up the spirit and learn with more interest. It will be little hard to get a job as a fresher level since you already have many years of experience in other fields. But never give up. Keep trying and even if its small chance, grab it and shine.

First and foremost important thing is that you should go through the study materials prescribed atleast four or five times. You will be asked questions only from those.
To know the procedure for appearing for certification, check this thread based on the assumption that you would appear for certification in India

If have the desire to learn FICO, first you try to understand the business process in financial terms.
Its not that much tough in financeial side, you try to learn Finace from scratch.

Hi Cabe,
You are correct to guess that its no good to copy juss the program as all the includes and stuff wont be working in your system. The best process would be to do a client copy, but i dont think you will have access to it as it will not be given normally by BASIS guys.
The work around is see what all Z objects( includes etc..) being used in the program which you want to copy and copy them all into your system. That way your problem will be solved atleast to some extent.
