Hi All
We working on SAP Fiori and our SAP UI5 is hosted on Gateway SAP UI5 is of version 1.12.5 .
SAP Gateway SP - 7
SAP ECC SP - 8
Let us know if there are any information or note avilable which talks about Firefox supported by SAP UI5 1.12.5.
Please let us know if there is a note which talks about browser support versus UI5 development kit library version .

Does firefox browser support 128-bit SSL?

I am trying to access a bank i work for who just upgraded their system.

Firefox supports 256 bit since 2002 in Firefox 2, so 128 bit is no problem.

If websites complain about 128 bit encryption not available then that can be caused by the "U;" that is no longer present in the Firefox 4 user agent.

You can see the current user agent on the Help > Troubleshooting Information page.
You can try to add "U;" via variations for the user agent setting like posted below via the pref general.useragent.override to see if that works.
If you update Firefox then you need to adjust the Gecko (rv:) and Firefox version to reflect the currently installed version.
Some examples (Vista is 6.0 - Windows 7 is 6.1):
* Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; U; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1

SAP Netweaver browser support for Windows 7 OS

Hi,
can anyone provide the SAP Netweaver Portal browser support matrix for Windows 7 OS?
I could see SAP NetWeaver 7.00 Browser Support For End Users and Admin Functionality in case of Windows XP and Vista but not for Windows 7. Where can I find this information? Does SAP provided any info on this?

Add-ons contain a range of compatible Firefox versions, and Firefox honors the listed range by disabling the add-on if you are trying to run it on an unlisted version.
I'm sure Yahoo! will update its toolbar eventually, but not every add-on maker supports beta versions of software.

Browser support for SAP Netweaver 7.3

Hi All,
Just wanted to know what all browsers are support by SAP Netweaver 7.3 bcoz its mentioning it supports all the major browsers but I could not find the versions of it as well as do we have to do some extra work to make it compatible with different browsers

Support Firefox browser please

It would be nice if you supported the Mozilla Firefox browser for downloads.
It does not recognize that I have accepted the OTN license.

Follow up:
May not be Firefox. Internet Explorer is giving the same error on multiple machines.
Unable to download InstantClient because "Accept" button is not recognized.

Sap fiori app, is it mobile app or app works in mobile browser, for receiving notifications

is fiori app is a real mobile app, or is it purely application that works on mobile browser.
we have installed sap fiori client from google playstore. configured sap fiori client with fiori launchpad url, so we are able to access the fiori app.
if we want to develop fiori mobile app to work like news app, for e.g. a notifications should be received to the mobile user, even without mobile user explicitly opening the sap fiori client app. e.g. incase of news app, when the mobile user gets notification, then clicks on the notification, this opens the news app.
can we achieve/develop sap fiori app, which can send the notifications to mobile users.
our customer wants notifications like "Your leave request approved" to their employees on their mobile, as soon as the leave is approved by manager.
currently our customer can see only when they manually launch fiori launchpad from their mobile.

On which version of RHEL OS, is Firefox 35+ browser supported?

I have different flavours of RHEL installed, and want to Install Latest Firefox on all of these. So, I need the information, that on which version of RHEL is Firefox 35+ supported?

Firefox does not support specific versions of the hundreds of Linux OS's out there like those mentioned at http://distrowatch.com/ but rather your OS install needs to meet the minimum package version requirements at least.

WebStart support for Firefox Browser using Java Linux AMD64

I am trying to setup a Firefox browser to use Java WebStart (jnlp).
I am running Java Linux (AMD64)
but I have no <JAVA_HOME/jre/plugins directory and no libjavaplugin_oji.so file with the Java installation.
1) Can I download libjavaplugin_oji.so plugin somewhere?
2) Will it work in Java Linux (AMD64)?
3) Can Java Linux (AMD64) be setup to operate Java WebStart Technology?
If so, How the h--- do I do it?

I have the same problem. Downloaded the 64 bit jre and found no libjavaplugin_oji.so in it.
Then downloaded the 32 bit jre and did the soft link and still no work.
Has anyone made the 32 bit jre work on the 64 bit linux?

Tableview problem on firefox browser

Hi,
We faced with a problem while using firefox browser on linux client.
The problem is browser cannot send selected item index into the BSP
application in OnInputProcessing event, but we do not have any problem
with IE7, on the same process. We are running on 6.20 with patch level
58 on ABAP stack. Anyone faced with this problem?

Xcelsius Dasboard / SAP Portal / Firefox

Hi at all,
I've got an issue with the combination of our Xcelsius Dashboard that use the new direct connection too our BW-System and Firefox as the presentation layeru2026
- If I open one of my dashboards via IE all will work fineu2026
- If I open one of my dashboards via Firefox the dashboard will not appear. After the progress bar the only thing I get is a blank screen...
Does anyone of you know the reason for this issue?

Hi Alexander.
You could check if your Firefox is blocking popups i.e. blocking a possible variable popup for the underlying Bex Query. You can also test adding parameter &XC_MODE=X to the end of your link to the dashboard thus running the dashboard in the so called stateless mode without variable popup.
I've had some issues(context menus etc) with regards to Firefox and SAP EP but dashboards work ok(running them in stateless mode though).
Also check the browser support for your SAP Portal SP -level.

SAP- FIORI communication with peripherals ?

Does SAP-Fiori can communicate with external peripherals like Bluetooth bar code scanner, RFID scanner etc .?
Like instead of entering the serial numbers manually can SAP-Fiori provide an interface where we can get the serial numbers of the material directly from an external device.

So far, there is no functional restriction but when HTML5 features are added to SAPUI5 which are not available in IE8, there is not necessarily an alternative solution created by the SAPUI5 teams.

SAP Fiori for CRM 7.0/CRM 7.02

Hi All,
We are planning to use SAP Fiori and Gateway as a Standalone Server and with CRM 7.0 and CRM 702 which is running since 3 years.
In the first box we will install Latest Netweaver with Addon of SAP Gateway, but we are confused with the Fiori part.
Question: Is Fiori supported by CRM 7.0 and CRM 7.0 EHP2?
2. Is there any backend component which has to be installed on CRM Server?
I have gone through the scn documents and still not clear.
Can anyone help me in clarifying my doubts?

I recently installed Fiori for SAP ERP and from that I can confirm that Fiori contains two parts:
one backend part and one frontend part.
According to note1931218 - General Information: Fiori for CRM you need EHP3 for CRM 7.0 (SP-stack 04 to use latest SP (SP02) for Fiori).
You can also find some release information in the following note:
1959305 - Release Information Note: SAP Fiori transactional apps for SAP CRM 1.0
If you go to http://service.sap.com/swdc choose "Browse our Download Catalog", you can choose "SAP Fiori" and then "SAP Fiori for Suite" in the main area of the browser.
the backend part is the one called "FIORI CRM APPLICATIONS X2".
the frontend part is called "UI FOR SAP CRM ENHANCE PACKAGE".
That's about all I know about the Fiori for CRM and I'll hope you can continue from here.

Firefox browser continues to hang and sometimes crashes when trying to load more than 10 bookmarks in tabs. Please help with my request as I would like to choose which tabs will load webpages and have all others stopped.

I have thousands of favorites and Firefox is my web-browser of choice. Sadly I'm backed up on what bookmarks I have stored and if the websites are still active or not.
I cannot load more than 15 bookmarks it seems at once as my PC is trying to load all the web content for each page in the new tabs.

I have High Speed internet connection with the provider Rogers.

My PC supports Windows 7 OS which I have as a multiboot alternative when my PC starts up.
I have continually waited and it says Firefox is not responding and I may be able to see the multiple tabs opened in my browser but cannot navigate or access them.
I have read on various sites that users have had as many as 1500 bookmarks load at once in tabs in the Firefox browser version that are outdated.
I have not been successful with just loading 50 bookmarks my goal is to be able to have 500 tabs loaded in firefox with webpage loading stopped on all of them. I will choose reload for about 10 tabs at a time to view webpage content and then close and move on to the rest.
My ultimate goal is to clear up the Thousands of bookmarks I have piling on for the past 6 years and some are duplicates or similar page sites.
Their is no Firefox 3rd party addons that I could locate that would allow this. Only to restrict the number of tabs loaded by giving warning messages when limit is reached.
Please assist me as it will greatly help me with finally deleting and re-organizing my Favorite and frequent websites in my Browser of choice Firefox.
The email is generic for privacy but it is valid please respond with methods on how I can achieve my request or suggestions on how I can modify my browser or PC settings to allow this. Thanks Firefox Administration Team.

Firebug is notorious for causing problems like you described.
Disable it when you don't need it or install it in a 2nd Profile. Then you can launch the 2nd Profile separately to use Firebug and not affect what you are doing in the 1st Profile,

Application not working in the firefox browser?
