SAP Fiori Wave 2 launch page

Hi ,
Can any one show me the pointers on how to get and install newer launch page ? I already have wave 1 launch page for my fiori apps. I want a new improved version.

SAP Fiori Launchpad is delivered in part of UI add-on components.
Please visit What is SAP Fiori in SAP fo Mobile apace.
You can call the Launchpad with this path.

I have recently activated all the standard Odata and Sicf Services required to implement SAP Fiori wave 7 apps.
I tried to access the Launchpad of Fiori, but I am getting a blank page.
When I traced I got the below error in screenshot:
Similar error I get in transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG.
Please let me know the possible solution for this.

Planning to evaluate FIORI.

Need some clarity.
Where need to deploy SAP Fiori for Suite on backend system or frontend sytem ?

Hi Nikunj,
I would recommend going to http://scn.sap.com/community/mobile and reading the What is SAP Fiori UX? page with all of its links. There is a wealth of information there on the whole topic of Fiori.
X1 (aka Wave 1) is the first release of Fiori with 25 apps and a starting point referred to as Launchpage.
X2 (aka Wave 2) is the second release. It changed the starting point from Launchpage to Launchpad with some rather major changes in design, configuration, installation, and features.
SAP FIORI FOR SAP ERP is a reference to applications created for use with SAP ERP (as opposed to SAP CRM, SAP SRM, etc.).

Fiori wave 2 PR hide reject button

Hi,
We have configured SAP fiori wave to MM applications. There is no rejection possiblie we want to jide hte reject button from the Purchase Requisition approval. Tried overriding mm_pr_apv app S3.controller.js and s3.header.controller.js files by removing negative action from .oHeaderFooterOptions.
But it's not working. It looks like the buttons are coming from shared componenets. The above changes doen't have any effect in the app.
Can you please advice how we have remove the "Reject" button from the PR approvals screen.

SAP Fiori Launch Page and Fiori Apps Wave 2

is it technically possible to add all Transactional Fiori Apps of Wave 2 to the old SAP Fiori Launch Page?

Hi Rene,
There were roughly 20 Wave 2 apps which were Back Ported (Downported?) to run in Wave 1 (Launchpage). This was not done with all possible apps, but contained the ones that customers complained most about (squeeky wheel gets the grease process).
Take a look at SAP Fiori for Releases prior to SAP Business Suite 7 Innovations 2013 – SAP Help Portal Page. The Principal Apps are those which were originally released for Wave 1 (Launchpage). They have all been Upported (rewritten) to Wave 2 (Launchpad). Where they reference
SAP Fiori transactional apps for SAP CRM 1.0 or
SAP Fiori transactional apps for SAP ERP 1.0
it is referring to the apps built for Wave 2 (Launchpad) which have been rewritten to work in the previous version Wave 1 (Launchpage). When installing these apps, make sure you get the correct download for your environment (Launchpad or Launchpage).

Fiori Launch Page - blank - no apps visible

Hi experts,
Having a frustrating time trying to configure the Launch Page using Wave 1 apps.
I have assigned the following roles to the user:
SAP_UI2_ADMIN_700
SAP_UI2_LAUNCH_PAGE
SAP_UI2_USER_700
SAP_SRA002_HCM_TS_MAN
When I load the launchpage I do not see the My Timesheet app. What is even more frustrating is that the Chrome Debug screen does not show any errors so I am almost at a dead end as to what the actual problem could be.
Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Most of customers install new frontend server and keep backend server changes as minimum.
You can install new UI components on the frontend server which is NetWeaver 740.

SAP Fiori on portal - Fiori Framework Page not working

We recently setup the portal sandbox version 7.4 SP8 to implement the Fiori Framework Page, after completed the step as what stated in the blog SAP Fiori Launchpad on Portal – Sample Content for Administrators , we encounter the Fiori Launch Pad is not displaying properly when we try to login via desktop (IE 9 & 10/Firefox/Chrome), tablet or smartphone. I have a strange welcome page to connect into Fiori (cf the screen below).
Is it normal ? is there any notes to apply or document on how to persolnalise this page .

Migrate SAP Fiori Wave1 to Wave 2

I would like to ask the following question.
We have implemented an app Fiori wave 1 (Approve Purchase Order), but we want to implement the new wave 2 app, my question is whether it is possible to do so without spoiling what is implemented, it is possible to replace the app we have for the new UI ?

New SAP Fiori Launchpad issues

Hi all,
I want to use the new Fiori Launchpad, but I ran into two issues:
1 - When I try to logon at the new Launchpad, the result is the following image:
Instead, the old Launchpad was this :
2- If I want to set the new Lanchpad URL in the APP 'SAP Fiori client', after the Logon procedure the home page does not appears .

Ok for this information but why is this not configured by default ?
As a customer, all these not standard configurations add a lot to the complexity and to the cost of implementing Fiori apps.
SAP marketing is always telling us that SAP FIORI is a set of plug and play applications.
This is obviously not the case and internally our managers wonder why it takes so much time and money to install "plug and play" applications.
The change of mind between the Launch Page and the Launch Pad is also so confusing...
When will the "Launch Something New" arrive ?
The SAP Customer Experience Group should really try to improve the SAP Customer Experience !

Hi Masa,
The CRM version in our landscape is : CRM 7.0 EHP3
But we have installed below versions in Fiori.
UIX02CRM (release 100) SP3.
GBX02CRM SP3
Please suggest whether we need to uninstall them and install new versions(CRM001-CRM 7.0 EhP3 SPS07).
Also system does not allow to uninstall existing components. Please advice on this.

Fiori Wave 8 Apps in the HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC)

Hi everyone,
I am currently in a project, where we have to install the Fiori Wave 8 Apps in a HEC landscape. Unfortuneatly I have only experience with installing Fiori on an On-Premise System. Are there any guys out there, who have allready installed Fiori Apps in the HANA Enterprise Cloud and could provide some Best Practises or could help me answer the following question:
Does an installation works in the same way like on an On-Premise System?
In my understanding a private system infrastructure in the HEC is nothing else, than an On-Premise-System hosted in the cloud or am I wrong?
Any knowledge would help me a lot.

I personally haven't installed Fiori, but I would agree with your own conclusion in the question.
Installation on HEC should be the same process as on-premise (which is the experience you already have), it just happens to be in an SAP data center, and not a customer data center.

Problems to add title icon on fiori launchpad tiles page

Hi Experts,
I am able to add page title for login page but after login i am not getting that icon, The sap standard one is coming. Please check the screen .
Again i am saying for login page the page title icon is coming properly. But its not coming for home page.

Hi Binod Kumar,
The Login page for Fiori is configured separately from the Launchpad. Configuring Login Screen for Launchpad Designer - User Interface Add-On for SAP NetWeaver - SAP Library makes it pretty clear that the Login page is a customized standard ABAP Login.
As I am not entirely sure what you mean by page title icon, I would direct you to look further down the page I linked here for you at the Extending the Launchpad and UI Theme Designer. Probably Theme Designer is what you need.
I would also direct you to the All Things SAP Fiori which is the Fiori Landing Page with links to most Fiori related content. A search using a custom Google Search will probably get you other Discussions in the SAP for Mobile community where most Fiori content resides.
