SAP function to delete shopping cart (set header status I1040)?

Does anyone know of a SAP function which can delete a shopping cart (set header status I1040)?
We're running the EBP extended classic scenario with SRM 4.0 and SRM_SERVER 5.00.
Thanks,
Brad

I don't know about the OP's reasons, but I've been looking for a similar solution as well. In my case our users sometimes create shopping carts under e.g. the wrong budget code, and the approvers don't always catch this, resulting in an approved SC that we can't change or delete but equally can't use.
I'll check out those fcns, thanks for that. From your question it sounds like there's some reason why this shouldn't be done though? Would this be seen as a bad practice? How would you recommend dealing with the above situation?
Thanks, John.

  • GUI tran to delete shopping cart via BDC

I'm trying to find a GUI (not web) tran which can delete a shopping cart (set header status = I1040) and can be called via BDC:
    1. I can enter "/n" to get out of the Easy Access Menu and then run tran BBP_MON_SC in the GUI to delete a shopping cart.  However, is there a way to run the GUI tran BBP_MON_SC via BDC considering it has to be done out of the Easy Access Menu?
    2. Is there some other GUI tran that can delete a shopping cart without having to worry about getting out of the Easy Access Menu?

    Hi,
You can delete form BBPSC04 as well. But all the GUI tcodes need to be run using "/n" only.

  • How to delete approved shopping carts at header level in SRM 5 ?

    Hi All
We are using SRM 5 (Classic Scenario) and we have a requirement in which we need to delete the approved shopping carts at header level. Here we are referring the case where SC lies in approved state in SRM but no PO generated in back end.
We assume that if PO has been created for SC then shopping cart can not be deleted at all.
I have seen advices like deleting approved shopping carts at item level but this would not suffice. As well we have seen that if we delete the SC at item level still SC shows complete value in header.
    Please advise on this.

    Hello,
As far as I know, cart can be deleted at header level when its status is held.
You can try to archive your carts, since item can be deleted.
    Check the archiving criteria here:

  • Deleted Shopping Cart awaiting approval

    Greetings SRM Gurus,
I have a case of two shopping carts which are shown (under monitor shopping cart) as having been deleted, yet they are appearing in the users approval list as awaiting approval.
In the approval list they are greyed out so the user cannot approve them, and I need to know how to remove them from this list.
    Simple really !!!!!
    Adrian

    Hi,
Use Transaction SWWL to delete work items from the specific User Inbox
Another way would be  if you want the workitem to be removed from the approval inbox , then you need to find the workitem id through the workflow log.
Then run the function module 'BBP_PDH_WFL_DELETE' ( exact name i dont remember ) and give the workitem id as input.
Then the shopping cart will be removed from the approval inbox and also necessary changes will be made in the workflow log .

  • Badi when deleting shopping cart from BBPSC04

    Hi,
Does anybody know if any BADI is called when the purchaser delete his shopping cart from BBPSC04. I have tried with BBP_DOC_CHANGE but it doesn't seem to execute it. If not Any other way to add code after deleting shopping cart??
    thanks
    BR

    Hi Jorge,
As Mani said: BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI will help you out... It has two parameters:
    - FLT_VAL (for shopping cart will receive a BUS2121)
    - IV_DOC_GUID (document header guid)
There you can retrieve the document using BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL (FM) with the GUID.
    Hope this helps you out...

  • Trying to delete shopping cart via GUI (not web) tran BBP_MON_SC

In the GUI I'm entering "/n" to get out of the Easy Access menu and then running tran BBP_MON_SC.  I'm then entering a specific shopping cart number and clicking the Start button.  On the results screen if I just click the "Delete Shopping Cart" button, nothing happens.  I was told to try entering the number left to the shopping cart number ("1") in the field left of the "Delete Shopping Cart" button and then try clicking the "Delete Shopping Cart" button, but still nothing happens.  I know the GUI screen layout is a little weird so I'm obviously doing something wrong.  Please note I'm able to successfully delete this same shopping cart in the web tran Monitor Shopping Cart.  Any help is appreciated.
We're running the EBP extended classic scenario with SRM 4.0 and SRM_SERVER 5.00.

    Hi
    <b>Please try this -></b>
<b><u>In the Transaction <u>BBP_MON_SC</u> in GUI login/mode, clcik on field - Created By (User ID) in the General Data section, say TESTUSER and click on "START BUTTON" on top of page.
A new screen will appear displaying all the shopping carts that user has created. Based on the line number in the left-side of the screen, enter that line number in the top left corner of screen in Frame1 and press on "Delete Shopping Cart" button to delete that particular shopping cart...</u></b>
<u>I can easily delete the SC from GUI by this way.. Hope this definitely answer your query and help you as well..</u>

  • Incorrect Buy on Behalf name displayed for Deleted Shopping Cart

    Hi All,
The issue is with the deleted Shopping Carts.
In case of non deleted Shopping carts the Buy on behalf field displays correct value.
I debugged and found that there is a bug in standard code itself.
In class /SAPSRM/IF_CLL_MAPPER~REFRESH, the code is written for non deleted and deleted SC to read the buy on behalf value.
In case of non-deleted the of condition reads the item values and  item guid is exported to patner table that returns the buy on behalf value.
But in case of deleted SC the
the else condition is executed where the requestor id is used to get the patner table which inturn gives us the buy on behalf value.
The difference is with the requestor id (MV_REQUESTOR_ID) in both cases.
In case of non deleted SC the requestor ID is different and in case of deleted Sc the requestor id is the vlaue of one who currently is viewing the SC.
    Kindly help.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rahul

  • Want to delete Shopping cart

    Hi Experts,
There is a Shopping Cart in our system SRM 5.0 which we are not able to view/approve/delete from portal because of some problem. Now user wants to get that shopping cart deleted from backend so that he can order same items using another SC.
Please let me know the way to delete shopping cart.
    Thanks
    Siddarth

    Hi Muthu,
Thanks for your reply but my case is a bit different. Here due to some error I am not able to see the shopping cart from BBP_PD transaction or Monitor Shopping Cart. Because of that i am not able to delete the Shopping cart.
Now I want some FM which can help me in deleting this shopping cart. I tried FMs BBP_PD_SC_DB_DELETE and BBP_PD_SC_STATUS_CHANGE but they can't help. Now if there is any other FM then do let me know.
PS. Shopping cart is currently in Awaiting Approval status.
    thanks

  • Unable to set header status - VBUK-UVALL in USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE

    Hi,
I need some advice in setting header status in table VBUK field UVALL in user exit MV45AFZZ - USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE. I am unable to set this field in this userexit.
I create an enhancement implementation in user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in MV45AFZZ. In my enhancement code, I have a perform statement which is in a Z include program. In my perform statement, I check a condition, if the line item text is not populated, then  I would like to set XVBUK-UVALS to B. In the code, I set the fields as follow :
    XVBUK-UVALS = 'B'
    XVBUK-UPDKZ = 'U'.
After the sales order is saved, when I checked in table VBUK-UVALS, the field is not updated.
Could anyone please provide me with some advice on how I could set the status in VBUK-UVALS in the user exit ? Should I be using another user exit ?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Virginia

    Hi,
Similiar to the statements given by you add following statements.
    VBUK-UVALS = 'B'
    VBUK-UPDKZ = 'U'.

  • Need to delete / clear PO value for a deleted shopping cart item.

    Hi friends
Please help me on below mentioned issue.
I have a shopping cart with one deleted item, That deleted item shows a PO number under table BP_PDBEI field BE_OBJECT_ID in production server.
User want that PO number to be delete or clear from that shopping cart deleted item.

  • Need to delete PO value for a deleted shopping cart item.

    Hi SRM experts
Please help me on below mentioned issue.
I have a shopping cart with one deleted item, That deleted item shows a PO number under table BP_PDBEI field BE_OBJECT_ID in production server.
User want that PO number to be delete or clear from that shopping cart deleted item.

    Hi Sharma,
normally if this PO doesn't have further follow-on documents, should be able to be deleted. Once the PO is deleted, the SC will be updated and in the follow-on document history of the SC you will see an additional remark "follow-on document deleted".
But I guess, this is not what you would like to do.
Without manual database changes you won't be able to delete the connection between the SC and PO.
If you somehow will get authority to the database changes, please don't forget to delete also the relations between PO and SC. You will find it in the tables SRRELROLES and BBP_PDBINREL.

    Peter

  • Attach documents to a shopping cart at header level

    Hello,
I am currently working on SRM 5.0 in Classic scenario. We are going to implement attachement of documents functionality with transfer of documents to ECC.
As far as I know, documents can only be attached to the posts of the shopping cart.
In our case, if for example a requester create a shopping with 3 lines and only attach 1 document to the first line. In case, the approver delete the 1st line (the one you have attach your document) it is quite problematic.
So would it be possible to attach documents to the header of the shopping cart or not? (by implementing a note or is it always by developping a specific program?)
Has someone already had to cope with this probleme and would he/she have advices to handle the issue?
Thanks a lot for your help!
    Regards,
    morgane

    Hello morgane
As per i know i believe approver neither delete the attachment nor update the cart  but he can either approve or reject the cart. However BBP_WFL_SECUR_BADI  may help you to change the SC during approval upon the user settings
for eg. 3 line items may create one PO if all vendors are same or if vendors are unique, it will create a 3 different po. so no concepts of header here in shopiing card.
all sc informations will be transfered to follow on document as per standard.
for eg. if you attach one document into one line item ,this line item document will be transfered to responding purchase order.
    regards
    Muthu

  • Org management (integration with SAP ECC 6) and shopping cart approval

    Background:
We currently use EBP 3.0 - Classic Scenario.
Our current Organisational plan was manually created in EBP, and is not the same as the HR hierarchy in SAP ECC 6
Shopping cart approvals use the workflow WS10000276 u2013 Approval Single Level over Limit, which utilises the SLAPPROVER attribute. The user name assigned to the SLAPPROVER attribute does not have to be the manager of the user. To meet our Business requirements, a fairly flat structure was created at the time we implemented EBP 3.0. The approval level an approver is allowed to approve up to is controlled with the use of roles assigned to a user.  Each of the approval roles has an appropriate value set against the BBP_APPROVAL_LIMIT attribute under Personalisation.
    Moving onu2026
We are just about to move from EBP 3.0 to SRM 7.0 u2013 Classic Scenario - by carrying out a new installation.
Our Business requirement has changed, in that they want the approval of shopping carts to be carried out by the line manager, if that person can approve the value of the shopping cart. If not, for the approval to go up the HR hierarch until a manager with a suitable level of approval is found.
I believe it is possible to create the Organisational structure in SRM from the HR hierarchy in SAP ECC 6. I have tried to do this in our play/test system using - Integration Business Partner-Organizational Management, without much success as yet!
I have a few questions in this area:
    1.     Not all of the users in the SAP ECC 6 HR hierarchy will be SRM users. E.g. In the SAP
hierarchy there are 3 users u2013 User A, User B and User C. User B is the manager of User
A and User C is the manager of user B. In SRM only User A and User C are users. That
being the case, is it still possible to initially create the organisational in SRM from SAP ECC6?
    2.     If it is possible to create the organisational structure as described, then using Process
Controlled Workflow we could use the Shopping Cart BC Set One-step manager approval.
If we did this, what would be the best way to incorporate the approval limit of a manager?
Can this be simply achieved by setting the BBP_APPROVAL_LIMIT attribute in conjunction
with the One step manager approval?
We want to avoid having to use the SLAPPROVER attribute due to the high level of
                 maintenance we currently experience.
Thanks to anyone who can advise me.
