  • Download SAP GRC for ECC 6.0

How can I download SAP GRC for ECC 6.0?

GRC applications comprise Access Control, Process Control, Global Trade Service, Environmental Compliance, Environment Health & Service, Risk Management, etc.
The software license for these applications scales with the licensing organization's revenue or an equivalent metric.
You'll obtain a quotation from your account manager.

  • Guidance for Enterprise Architecture

    Hi All,
I have an experience of ABAP and fucntional in SAP. I would like to shift to career in Enterprise architecture. Could Please anyone guide me to start in SOA.
    Thanks In Advacne,
    Kiran V.

    Hi Kiran,
If you want a career change to Enterprise Architecture, why do you think that SOA is a good starting point? You definitely need to understand SOA because it 'can' be (not necessarily) a cog in the wheel or an enabler of an organisation's Enterprise Architecture.
Surely you would want to start by learning and applying a specific (or several) Enterprise Architecture Framework/s like TOGAF for example?
Get an overview of what SOA is by reading an e-book 'SOA for dummies', it's a free IBM publication as far as I can remember, Google it & download it. Once you have a high level understanding of SOA then rather start with an Enterprise Architecture Framework. You can follow the [Togaf Learning Series|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/weblogs/topic/38] of blogs by Gourav Khare as a start.
Another excellent guide is the [SOA Source Book from the Open Group|http://www.opengroup.org/projects/soa-book/]

  • Product ID for Enterprise Query, Reporting, and Analysis package

    Hi Experts,
I try to install Enterprise Query, Reporting, and Analysis package(CD number : 51033475)
Installation setup asks the Product ID,
How can i find the correct Product ID for this installation,
    Regards

For Partners and SAP, the license id is contained in a word document that is in the Download Manager.
We are also trying to install this package, but it seems only the SAP drivers and not the BO Enterprise is contained in the Service Marketplace file.
Just wondering if you have experienced the same thing.
    Best regards,

  • Bug fix for SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 and MS Internet Explorer 7.00

With upgrading your MS Internet Explorer to release 7.00 and running SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 the GUI controls based on HTML might work no longer properly. To fix this bug it is neseccary to patch your SAP GUI to patchlevel 23.  Download the https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/webcontent/uuid/00ebf59c-4c84-2910-dea9-a40963adc659 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] and run the exe-file on the machine where the SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 is installed.

Unfortenately it still doesn't work properly with this patch. Using Tx sbwp, se80 or pftc you have still the same GUI control problems.

  • Standard SAP Table for PO Header Text and PO Item Text

    Hi,
I want to know the Standard SAP Table where the PO Header Text and the PO Item Text are stored.
    Thanks,
    RK

PO texts are stored in tables STXH and STXL.
TDOBJECT is EKKO for header texts and EKPO for item texts.
Just for future reference with regards to getting text id's etc.
    eg: PO texts.
    --> Go into the PO.
--> Go to the text tab (item or header - depends what u want).
--> Double click into the required text.
--> Click the "GO TO" menu option.
    --> click Header.
and all the info you need is there.
You need to use function module READ_TEXT. Since lenght of text is variable it is stored in binary format and cannot be read via a table viewer.

  • Upload of SU24 Auth. objects in SAP GRC AC 5.3

    Hello,
We are in process of SAP GRC AC 5.3 implementation, and our SAP System is not updated to SU24 (Authorization objects), in which USOBT_C is populated.
In GRC AC 5.3 Pre-implementation checklist, it is mentioned about the above, being necessary.
If the SAP System is not updated to SU24, then what is the other way, to upload authorization objects in RAR Post-Install Steps, after we have already completed SAP GRC Tools ( all the SCA files) install and backend RTA installation?
    Thanks!

    hi
    1. Create file (automated via batch job) from SU24 (report /VIRSA/ZCC_DOWNLOAD_SAPOBJ)
==> SA38 --> Background --> create a variant where you fill out the value for the server + filename (no extension needed for filename) --> schedule periodically
    2. convert to UTF-8 format (how can this be automated?)
--> not necessary ; in my system it is UTF-8 by default
    3. upload periodically into RAR via background job (from AIX based file system !)
--> configuration tab --> upload objects --> permission --> choose system --> leave local file blank and fill out server location (drive letter) --> click background and schedule the job daily. This is not a heavy job, therefore daily.

  • SAP GUI for Java 7.00 or 7.10 for mac os 10.4 or 10.5

    Hi
From which site I can download SAP GUI for Java 7.00 or 7.10 for MaC os 10.4 or 10.5 version
    Regards,
    Harish Shetty

    Hello Harish,
SAP GUI for Java 7.00 and 7.10 are no longer supported and as a result, are not available from SAPs download locations.
You can use SAP GUI for Java 7.20 on Mac OS X 10.5 in case JSE 6 can be installed (requires 64-bit Intel CPU, see [note 1400273|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1400273]).

  • SSO for SAP and Non-SAP applications without Enterprise Portal

    Dear all,
Is it possible to implement SSO for both SAP and non-SAP applications without involvement of EP at all?
I have gone through this link.
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/e5/4344b6d24a05408ca4faa94554e851/frameset.htm">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/e5/4344b6d24a05408ca4faa94554e851/frameset.htm</a>
But I still i am not able to get the precise answer on how to enable SSO for both  SAP and non-SAP applications without EP.
We have decided not to implement EP in first phase of SAP implementation. But we need to enable SSO for other SAP and Non-SAP applications.
A detailed description on how to deal this kind of scenarios will be helpful.
    Thanks.

A client of our's uses <b>SAP Enterprise Portal</b>, and is using the SAP SSO, which is implemented with tickets, and requires the use of SAPSECULIB.  My company provides an application for this client, and our application in hosted in our data center for the client, as a Software as a Service application, obviously across the internet.  Our client, which owns a SAP license, has asked that we support the SAP SSO as a non-SAP SSO application.  The client user's SSO ticket will be created from SAP EP, and then passed across the internet to our application, and we are to use that SSO ticket as an authentication ticket to our application.  I beleive I know how to do this work technically, having reviewed the SAP document named: "Dynamic Library for Verifying SSO Tickets in Third-Party Software"   Specification   Version 2.00  December 2005.
My question is, does my company have the right to use the SAPSECULIB?  Where is the official download and <b>license</b> download, that indicates we can download this library, and use it to support a SAP customer?  We do not own a SAP license.  Thank you for your help.  I have searched many places in SAP support.<b></b>

  • SharePoint 2013 and SAP connectivity / SAP Gateway for Microsoft and Duet Enterprise 2.0

    Hello,
we are investigating the connection possibilities of SharePoint 2013 with SAP.
The basic scenario in our cases involves the transfer of documents and/or metadata from SharePoint to SAP possibly through a Workflow in SharePoint.
From my research the most promising official (no 3d-party) interfaces that can be used are the Duet Enterprise 2.0 and the SAP Gateway for Microsoft.
From my understanding both interfaces allow only the consumption of Data from SAP to SharePoint and not vice versa. Moreover the interoperability of documents seems not be supported. Are CRUD operations from a SharePoint native lists to SAP supported?
Can someone please clarify this topics?
I have found lots of documentation concerning the interfaces but not a clear answer to this questions.
    Many thanks in advance!
    Ioannis

    Hi Ioannis,
It seems that there is no built in method to get data from SharePoint list in SAP.
As a workaround, we can export SharePoint list to excel and then use that spread sheet as a source data in SAP.
