When I open a query in the ad hoc query designer I get several error messages like "Variable State has been used outside the reusable components." I don't what this means or how to fix it.
"State" is one of the variables used. And there is a error for every variable that is used.

It states that:
You cannot integrate variables into the query directly.
However, you can use variables in reusable structures, or restricted or calculate key figures, which are used in the Ad-hoc Query Designer

My iPod touch wont let me buy anything, i've beem using this account for a couple of years and now it says that this is the first ime this id has been used on my device... it's not.... and to sign in and answer security questions. i cant remember the answers to the questions. How can i fix this without making a new account and losing all my stuff???

I bought my ipad in us, and has been using a pre paid card in purchasing applications. Now i already went back to bahrain, i am trying to purchase apllication using my bahrain credit card but it cannot get through as the default country is USA.
I tried to change my country but a message says i have a store credit balance and must spend it before changing store. But how i can spend it i only have 8 cents left?

I just got this message and sent it to [email protected] per instructions on another post. the link leads to a page asking for Apple id and credit card information.I got a similar email. It's obviously Spam. The double period afetr the first sentence and the otherwise poor grammar are dead giveaways even before I checked out the link embedded. -- I didn't click on it, just hovered over it to get the url. Someone I entrusted my computer to for repairs decided to keep it. all my personal information was on the computer. the peron has been using my credit card information o make ourchases from the apple store. If I do not have a credit card on the account on my iphone, I am unable to updatw it or my ipad. After persuading the apple store people to delete the last credit card info, I had to put aother credit card on the iphone to be able to update the software and thevapps. now that card is being used by the person o download war games on the new card. I cannot find any of his downloaded games on any of my devices. I am close to giving up my iphone and ipad. the last time i called the apple store, theynwould not give me the IP address of the omputer the games were downloaded to. they only gave me the name of my ipad. anyone could name thir ipad according to the name on mynipad. I have found the Apple store less than friendly about security matters like this. Is the credit card registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? Hello, thank you for your prompt answer. I did have an idea that Home sharing might be the answer but could not quite figure out how to do it. I have enabled home sharing in my iTunes account, put in username and password, clicked on creat etc. But the homs sharing icon doew not appear in the left side of iTunes. So I got stuck. Any further ideas?

My icloud account is not verifying it says check my mail witch I have done and I get a message say your iPhone for has been used to set up and Icloud account but still can not use the icloud can anybody help me.
Be sure you are checking the email account that you used to set up the Apple ID you used to create the iCloud account. Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox. The email you should receive looks like the image below. When you get it, click the Verify Now link.
If it still isn't there, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email. -
I just got a new MacBook Pro, and I tried to bring across my files from my last mac using time machine. After it was done copying I can't find my files anywhere but the space (about 130gb) has been used on my hard drive. Does anyone know how I can get to them? I did change my user name from 'user' while it was copying, could this have something to do with it?
You don't want to do that by copying.
Your best bet, by far, is to use Setup Assistant. If your Mac is running Snow Leopard, see Using Setup Assistant on Snow Leopard or Leopard.

HT4413 Migration Assistant for a brand new mac that has been used already?
My dad bought a Mini but has been using it for a few months but didn't transfer anything from his old Mac. All his address book entries and files are still on his original Mac. Can Migration Assistant still be of help to transfer over the data without erasing what he's accumlated on his new Mac? Is it going to write over his email for instance?
Thanks!Migration Assistant is not the tool you need to use at this point. Instead you should manually copy the data you want from the old computer to the new computer. If both computers have Firewire ports then use Target Disk Mode - Transferring files between two computers using FireWire. Boot the old computer into TDM and the new computer normally. You should then find a disk icon for the old computer's drive on the Desktop of the new computer.
Before you do any of the described file copying below be sure you have quit Mail and Address Book if they are now open except where directed.
For Mail you open Mail and select Import from the File menu. Check the top option to import from Apple Mail. Navigate on the old computer to its /Users/username/Library/Mail/ folder and then locate a folder named "Mailboxes." Select the folder and click on the Open button. Select the mailboxes you want to import and click on the Import/OK button. This will import the old mail to a new set of mailboxes in Mail under a mailbox named Imported. You can then move the old mail to wherever you want in Mail.
For contacts locate the /Users/username/Library/Applications Support/AddressBook/ folder. Copy the entire folder to the new computer to the same location on the new computer.
Last, navigate to the /Users/username/Library/Preferences/ folder and copy these preference files: com.apple.mail.plist and all beginning with com.apple.AddressBook. Copy them to the same location on the new computer. -

I have some foreign songs that I am importing into itunes. When a song called "04.公路 塵埃 北合起." gets imported, it comes up in itunes as "04.§Ω∏Ù π–ÆJ •¶X∞"
Now I don't know a lot about different text encodings, but from what I've read on the forums is that the problem is that the tags that are encoded on the srcfiles are not unicode. I have tried the java application "UnicodeRewriter" recommended elsewhere in the forums, but both the commone Chinese ecodings, viz Big5 GBK etc.
Is there a way to cut a world from (eg a chinese glyph) and somehow find out what text encouding has been used?Sorry, that question wasn't very well phrased. I'll try it again.

I have an onWorkflowActivated, followed by an ifElse condition and a log to history.
In the IfElse, each branch has a code segment, that trys to update the status column in the list that the workflow is attached to.

add the following code to the workflow.xml file (under the MetaData section)
