Go to NWA>Configuration>Infrastructure>Java System Properties, Click on the Applications tab and search tc~pi~tools~dirmig~wd & Start Application as shown in below screenshot.
I am not sure but you can try this if it helps.

F1 Help content are displayed in english instead of the language logged in

Dear all,
The SAP version is ECC 6.0 unicode system.
we have imported chinese language and we logged in to SAP using chinese as the logon language.
when my end user press F1(perfromance assistant), the help contents are getting displayed in English.
We need the help contents also to be displyed in chinese.
Do I have to perform any other imports or any other steps to be done.
Kindly help me in this issue.

For Chinese, Help is English..
Generally Help is in English or German.
If you need any specific language u need to install SAP Help in specific language on the application server and do help configuration in the system.

Read SAP table content through VBA why Chinese characters display as '#'

I meet a problem . I want to get sap table content through RFC in excel VBA. now i have solve it . It can got table content . when i change a new system , it can get table content ,but chinese characters display as '#' ( it works well in sap 4.6c Chinese characters can display , when upgrate to ecc 6.0 it can't works well )

Hi Chirs,
I am facing the same problem but i am using c sharp and this is a windows application.
I tried to change the CodePage attribute by simply setting connection.codepage = "8040";
But i get an exception.
attempted to read or write protected memory.
I cant seem to change this. What should i do. Also do we have to set this at the point of connecting to the Sap system or when i'm calling the RFC. I tried both instances but none worked. Could you please help me out.

Hi, when your installing inforovideror any object from BI content you should know the infoprovider belongs to which component eg: purchasing you should know the targets to install from bi content. you get many document related to purchasing in scn:

But you can create the IF THEN by using ( ) in the forumla builder:
Reqt: IF A > B THEN B + C ELSE A
Formula: (A > B )* (B + C) + (A <= B ) * A
Each expression in the ( ) is evaluated as True or False and accordingly outputs 1 or 0.

Unable to see SAP Help files properly

Hi,
I had downloaded some SAP help documents (.chm) files. I am unable to view the contents. The tree view in the left side is coming but when I click any of the topics, 'Action Cancelled' message is displayed in the right side pane. I am using Windows 2000 Professional with Service pack 4. But when I run the same thing on a machine with Windows XP, its showing the contents properly. What can be done in Win 2000 to sort out this problem?
Can any one help me out.

I found the solution for the help file problem.
The following is the registry entry one will be required to make in order to view the help file properly. This is because of a windows patch which is targetted at closing the loopholes thru which a malecious code can attack the system. So use it carefully. The path I have given should be replaced with your own where the actual files are placed.

SAP Demo content

Hi BW Gurus,
I working on SAP Demo content and i want to load data from the csv files which stores in the Application server. I didnt find the csv files the home directory to load. Can you please forward all the demo content csv files to my id if u are having it to my mail id [email protected]
Please help me i need to give the demo to the client for all the application areas which are there in the demo content

Link from SAP help pointing to a wrong site

Hi,
We have a link to the site [REMOVED BY ADMIN] in the following SAP help page:

But this site contents are of different category. The reason could be [REMOVED BY ADMIN] might have been hacked. Just wanted to inform this in this forum.

The only way this can happen, assuming you have truly published the site, is that you have not spelled the url correctly. It must be exact in every detail, including capital letters and punctuation. So double-check exactly what name you gave your site inside the iWeb app and put that after web.mac.com/lsikesimages/
Also you can mount your idisk on your destop (Go > iDisk > My iDisk), navigate to Web/Sites, and make sure there is a folder called "bluemetrodesign" or whatever in there.

Downloading SAP-Help

Well, perhaps it is a repost, but I searched the forum and didn't find a suitable thread.
In the past I downloaded some PDF-Files from SDN, SAP-Help and so on, for example the "SAP NetWeaver Developers Guide - Running an Enterprise Portal" (Mai 2006). It includes all the chapter content from SAP-Help.
So I can search in the PDF and I have it full text indexed with some other Guides. As another point I can read it offline in train and at a customer, were I don't have access to the internet.
During the last months I recognized that many PDF documents become older and older but I cannot find new versions of it. So does anyone know a suitable resource to find these guides (extracts from Sap-Help) or does anyone have a trick how to create a PDF or something similar from Help-Entries?
I already tried out some web-page download tools, but they all haven't worked as I want: no pics, download of first level only or download of really toooo much(!) contet. I don't want to install the complete Help-Entries on my notebook, because Disk-Space is low and I only need some extracts (for example the chapter Running an Enterprise Portal).
Perhaps there will be a "create PDF"-function as it is at SAP-notes? Does anyone have informations if there is something like this planned?

The link was not completely useful.
There aren't many PDFs online at the moment, download with a web capture tool doesn't work at me (I tried really a lot tools) and I don't want to install the complete SAP-Help for NetWeaver from the Installation DVDs (more than 2 GB, I think).
Sorry for double post, but I am missing a move thread function
Next time I will look in all boards if there is a suitable forum.

Issue with creation of custom layouts using SAP Help Documentation

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to create a home custom page layout (using web dynpro) in Composite Environment. The default options available in CE are not useful for me. I set out to make a custom layout using the following this SAP Help Documentation: [ Creating a Web Dynpro Page Layout (SAP Library - Using the Portal as a Frontend)|https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/docs/DOC-102846]
I have followed the instructions and followed all the steps, yet I fail to see the application in CE. The custom page layout is not displayed neither in options and is not available any where.
