SAP Homepage customisation: Sercice not showing after transporting
Hello experts,
we have a very simple portal role in Dev system (role was copied from SAP ESS role) where added transaction iView. In the backend this is configured using PTARQ tcode and configuring a custom subarea and a custom service.
This all works fine in Dev system and it also works fine in Qual system.
However, when we do the same transport (portal role export import + PTARQ normal transport request) into Prod system, then the subarea is NOT shown, instead a record working time iview from the sap standard is shown.
PCD location etc should all be OK, because, IT IS working fine in Dev and Qual system.
Would really appreciate if someone could point us into the right direction of how to resolve this please.

Hi,
Can you check the back end service configuration . And also check the service which maintained in back end are pointing a PCD location is standard one or custom one.
Because this type of issue happened only wron PCD location has maintained only.

If you are running the report with a local report service (running on your workstation), the value of desname should be the name of your default printer.
If you are running the report on a network application server based report service you need to specify the name of a printer that is accessible to the server on which the report service is running. Make sure that it is specified in a way that the server can recognize it, e.g. \\printserver_01\HPLaserJ4210.

SD Card not showing after Mountain Lion Update
This matter has been discussed for some time now in

SD Card not showing after Mountain lion Update
Since the update to Mountain Lion, the SD slot does not show up in Finder.
Someone gave a fix using the killall in Terminal, and that worked only once. I have not been able to get that fix to work again.
The only saving grace for me is that my SD Card us is always from my Nikon camera, and Nikon ViewNX 2 software is able to see and read from the card.
Killall may have worked partially in that I no longer get the error message telling me that I have removed the SD card improperly, and need to dismount it first.

Then you should hava posted all the troubleshooting you already accomplished.
Does the card show up in System Information? Or is that another one of the "basics" you've already looked into?
Does it show up in Disk Utility? If so, have you tried formatting it there to determine if it is a formatting problem? -
SAP B1 Client is not showing any company after installing Windows 7
Hello experts
By installing Windows 7 on a computer which had Windows XP installed before and trying to re-install SAP B1 client on that computer, company list is being displayed as empty. This is only happening on this computer as it is the only one which has been upgraded to Windows 7, SAP client is displaying all companies if it is run in other computer. So the issue is only affecting this computer.

ALV Title Not Display after transporting the Programme from DeV to Qlty

i developed one ALV report with two screens, i transported the report from Development server to Qulaity server.
in Development server report are working fine but in Qulaity server after transporting the TiTle of ALV not display , plz give me some hint , below is my code to display alv title
DATA: alv_grid TYPE REF TO cl_gui_alv_grid.
DATA:alv_grid_ref type ref to CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.
DATA: layout TYPE lvc_s_layo.
layout-grid_title = 'Daily Material Reports.' .

I m using ALL METHOD alv_grid->set_table_for_first_display method for display alv .

Hierarchy Analysis Authorization does not work after transport
Hi Gurus,
I am facing a issue in hierarchy analysis authorization in quality system but the same authorization works perfectly fine in development.
All hierarchy authorizations works in Quality except for this one. I found one old sap note describing this as program error but this note is not applicable in BW 7.3.
I have checked the table RSECVAL, RSECHIER and authorization is active so everything looks good. Please advise if anyone faced this issue after transporting hierarchy auths to other systems

What I understood from your description is that you have same role+AA in Dev and QA, which provides access in Dev for all the nodes for said hierarchy but in QA, same role+AA provides access to the same hierarchy for all the nodes but one. Try to create a ZTEST analysis authorization in QA itself with access for the problematic hierarchy node and see if it works ? This will rule out the case if there is a difference in hierarchy in DEV & QA.

Free space not showing after shrinking BootCamp Partition
I gave a lot of space for the windows 8 bootcamp partition because I thought I am going to install Lots of stuff on it.
After 3 months I found out that my lion partition is almost full! And I have 100 GB of free (Unused) partition on my bootcamp partition.
So I shrunk my bootcamp partition (in windows) by 60 GB. I plan to expand my lion partition in OSX so then I restarted my mac.
Next I went to disk Utility and found out that I can't expand my lion partition with the free space. Until then I realized that lion and windows have different file systems (oops.) so I decided to expand my windows partition back to normal.
Then I went back in windows and found out that the free space is not showing in disk management! What should I do next??
The free space is showing on top but when I right-click the windows partition the "Extend volume" option is greyed out.
PS I dont care about the mac partition now. Did some cleaning with CCleaner and freed 10 GByou should have asked first to get some ideas? I would have recommended Paragon CampTuneX which is designed to resize those partitions for you.
You want to have 20-30GB free space for any OS. If you were using an SSD, at least that much or even more.
I have no idea if iPartition or gpart can help you now. -
Web template with HTML framset not working after transport
Hi,
I've built a frameset which consists of two web-templates (role-menu and content area) those two are combined together using plain HTML which does not acontain any web items (uploaded via WAD). This works fine in development. After transporting to our QA environment all the templates have been transported with concode 0, but the frameset does not get loaded. I always get an "Error loading template ...". The two templates which contain web items work fine when used stand-alone.
When looking in transport connection I see the following message:
"Object ZWF_WEB_FRAMESET (Web Template Name) could not be collected for object ()"
I also see the same behavior on another transport of a template. Nine out of ten ar fine, but one, all are exact copies - only the query used is different, does not work either. The query that is used has been transported and is working.
Has anybody an idea what could cause this?
Is there a way to regenerate templates (like RSRT for queries) ?

Values in collection are not showing after submit
Dear all,
I have a collection based on a query.
After inserting a value in the collection and submitting, the record with the value is submitted to the database.
But my collection does not show the value, how can i have my collection to show the values inserted/updated?

Equipment Number not showing after created through IE01
Hi,
We have created a Equipment through IE01...after it system shows a message - Equipment XXXXXXXX and asset XXXXXXX created...
But when we want to see it through IE03 or in master table EQUI (or in all equipment related tables), this is not showing...
Also system showing information - Express document "Update was Terminated" received from author "XYZ"...
Pleas guide..No....not using User Exit...
But in SM13, this is showing an Error in Status column...

Check mark not showing after importing in Image Capture
The check marks will show right after importing photos to a hard drive in Image Capture. However, after unplugging my iPhone and plugging it back in to import new photos, the check marks are not showing up for the photos I have already imported. One way I was successful at getting the check marks to show was to select another folder to import to and then select the folders that contain the imported images.
CDs don't contain artwork, you can either add the artwork manually or (if the album is available in the iTunes store) you can have iTunes download it automatically from there. Itunes music not showing after accepting user agreement?
I recently moved my itunes music to a new hard drive on my computer without any issues and it had been working fine for the last month or so but after starting up my computer today itunes has updated it's user agreement terms. After accepting the user agreement terms itunes started up but is not showing any of my music. I have the latest Itunes version 11.0.5.5 installed which was updated on the 17/8/2013. I also noticed today that Itunes has created a new itunes folder in the old location so I suspect that it is reading this library instead. How do I change the settings in itunes so it will show my music and artwork in the new location?

Changes not showing after successfully building up.
Hello everybody,
I am new to the forum and also a new novice in Flex.
I have written an application. I have a page called
SchedAppointments.mxml, well, after writing the code and building
the project successfully the page was displayed successfully as per
requirements. After that, I made certain changes in the page
(SchedAppointments.mxml), then saved it and build it successfully
again. Now the problem is that the changes is not showing in the
browser. What I am viewing in the browser is exactly the same as I
saw before making the new changes.
Can anybody tell me why its happening?
