Hi All,
I am getting an error while installing data services client 4.1 Sp1 on server.
SAP HostAgent was not detected.
Though this is an optional pre-requisities it does not allow me to install and the next button is disabled.
Any help will appreciated.

As per the trailing screenshot, error while installation is not due to the failure of the SAP HOST AGENT, it is due to the failure of the SAP Business Objects Enterprise.

Bluetooth was not detected

Hello,
I have a lenovo G640, windows 7 home. Bluetooth used to work perfectly but now it keeps saying the device was not detected. Have checked the lenovo site to see if I could uninstall and reinstall but they do not have this model in their options display.

Get the laptop checked by Lenovo. Can be an issue with hardware.

I have read this while testing my battery with HP tools dignostics:
Secondary Battery: a battery was not detected, but your system supports a second battery. You may want to purchase a second battery to extend your battery life between charges
What is meant with your system supports a second battery?
I think this 'your system supports a second battery' should have been said if my computer supported two batteries insereted simulataneously.
However, if this 'your system supports a second battery.' only means if the first battery got to its critical level, then I could shut down my computer, and then replace it with the second one which is fully charged.
As a result, I would be saying that my system supports a second battery, a third, fourth, fifth, and so on. I don't need to say my system supports a second battery.

Then, for my laptop which only supports to insert on battery at the same time. Then as long as the secondray battery will not be inserted along with the primary battery at the same time, then my system and my computer don't support secondary battery. However, they support only one battery inserted. I have an older Kodak which they have stopped supporting and I have to take out the SD card and put it in the card slot to download pictures. I read other threads where this solved similar problems for others. Some have a separate card reader but I just use the one on my imac. Wish it was more convienent to get to it though.

When I'm trying to program my xc7k325t_0 on my Kintex 705 evaluation board, I get this error message:
[Labtools 27-3123] The debug hub core was not detected at User Scan Chain 1 or 3. You must manually launch hw_server
with -e "set xsdb-user-bscan <C_USER_SCAN_CHAIN scan_chain_number>" to detect the debug hub at User Scan Chain of 2 or 4.
To determine the user scan chain setting, open the implemented design and use: get_property C_USER_SCAN_CHAIN [get_debug_cores dbg_hub].
Here are the TCL Console messages:

I have tried finding solutions to this, and that this error is because of the following:
the clock connected to the debug hub is not free running clock or active
the debug hub User Scan Chain setting is 2 or 4 (It is a 1 by default)
It seems that there are no debug cores in my design. What should I do now? I am still a beginner, so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

From which port are you taking the clock? Can you try using System Clock and let us know the results?

Are the things are same like the OEL? Most things, yes.
Becoz there is no root in Ubuntu directly and the command is also different $su -iThere is - simply the security model is a tad different as a desktop o/s does not have a sysadmin dude, whereas a sever o/s does have.

It is a bunch of popup windows with a next and cancel button - all you need to do is read the text and change the defaults if needed. Anybody can install Oracle software. And how often do you install Oracle s/w? Definitely not every second day.
The important bit is not the installation itself - but how you administer the database.
Finally, wat abt Kernel Parameters, Will the parameters are same for all Distros?Mostly. Cannot speak for all distros, but the ones I've worked with use the sysctl command to set kernel parameters. As distros are based on a specific Open Source/GPL Linux kernel, those kernel parameters are the same. sysctl uses the config file +/etc/sysctl.conf+ - so that will also be the same across distros.
A distro does not mean something radically different. Underneath it all, it is the same source code. The differences come with what that kernel ships. What drivers are bundled? What Window manager? What versions used (stable, experimental, etc). What software packages are included.
If you are going to use Ubuntu, then I suggest installing XE. It is free. It is great for experimenting. You can create database instances. You can destroy them. You can use rman for backup and recovery. You can write your own database create scripts. You can sudo as the oracle o/s user, manage and monitor and kill processes. Etc.

I've gotten 3.1 installed by running the setup .exe file from the DVD via Windows Explorer. Everything seems OK except the graphics/resolution. My NVIDIA card isn't recognized and my resolution options only go up to 1280 x 800.
The Window 7 Performance Information and Tools shows this:

Right click on your device under Portable devices and click on Uninstall and when the uninstaller box pop ups select delete the driver and click OK. Now click on Scan for hardware changes on top of the page and see if you get apple mobile device support driver under USB Devices and if not then disconnect your device from the computer and try to connect it to a different USB port and check also open control panel and select Apple Mobile Device Support from the List and Click on Repair and check. If still the device is not showing under USB then uninstall the following services from your computer.
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if unable to uninstall ignore and move to next)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Restart your computer once after the uninstallation is completed and then download latest version of iTunes from http://WWW.apple.com/iTunes/download
Locate the iTunes setup file and right click the file and run the installation file as Administrator and let the installation complete.
Then check if your device gets deteced in iTunes and if still the device is not detecting in itunes then go to device manager and see under Usb if you can see Apple Mobile Device Support Driver and continue with the step. 5 of above given link in my previous post. And if still thedevice is not showing under USB then right click on your device under potable device and click update driver and first check for updates automatically and see under USB if you see the driver now and if not then go back to device under portable device select update driver, let me choose driver from the list, Have disk, browse file in the following location " C://Program Files/Common Files/Apple/Mobile Device Support/Drivers and select usbaapl file and install the same (if you can't find the driver on above location then look for the driver in Program Files(x86) instead of Program files and if you can't find usbaapl then look for usbaapl64 and complete the installation and then restart the computer and check if your device get recognized in iTunes.
Note: when installing the drivers keep the iTunes closed till the drivers installation is completed.

What could be the possible reason why the layout/reports cannot import successfuly in report and layout import wizard?
I tried to import new layout/report (crystal report) using report and layout import wizard but after the procedure has been done, the layout/report was not imported successfuly. There's no problem if I will overwrite the existing report but when it comes to new report, this problem exist.

What connection you are using in the CR. Is that ODBC or OLEDB.
OLEDB connection would be preferable.
Can you paste your query what you have used in the CR.
Do you able to browse and choose the CR file in the Report and Layout manager.
Did the file is in your local system.
Please in which step you are not able to import the file, what is the error it showing on the screen

The audio device supported by this device was not detect

Ok, i'm having massi've problems with this card, i think it just hates me. I'm running Windows XP SP3 Home, SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum and it's not going too well. I have had it installed for a year now, Had to put up with EAX Console giving me a mediasource Error. Sound Mixer worked at this point. Then i decide to reinstall it, deleting all traces of it (installshield files too), i disabled my onboard sound (i had no idea it was enabled) called AC97 Audio or something in the bios. I restart and re-install. All seemed fine, until i double click the Creative Volume control and find the Error you see in the title now. I have a look on Sound and Audio Devices on Control Panel and it says 'No device found' on the first panel. On Recording and Audio the first 2 boxes are grayed out, but the Midi one has SB Audigy [0B00] or something similar. It's been plaguing me ever since i got it. Every application except diagnostics tool gives me the Error in the title. Also, instead of the classic Ping that windows gives through my speakers, i get a beep from inside my computer. It won't let me press the play button on the Sounds section of sounds and audio devices. I would deeply appreciate any help. Thanks

UPDATE: I ran dxdiag and the sound section tells me that a sound card wasn't detected.
UPDATE: I changed PCI Slot, still same problem.

Did you know that using the erase feature for stolen iPads can fail? Mine did and was not detected for 10days.

Thursday(day 1):Had an iPad2 wifi only which I rarely used, stolen.
minutes later, pulled up findmyphone on iCloud and put a lock on iPad and then erased the iPad.
Sunday(day4) : I noted websites opened on my iphone that I had not opened.
Monday: Spooked, I went to genius bar was informed that it would have been wiped since the thief had been hooked to wifi and thus the iPad would have been erased.
Sunday(day 11), my iCal has been deleted totally from all my devices (iMac, iPhone, MacAir)
Monday (day12): I go to genius bar with Time Machine backup drive and some magic is worked to recover it. The conclusion was that the thief of my iPad wiped it out. And, " there are always ways to get into the iPad if they really want to with firewalls etc....". And I needed to change my iCloud password (which the first guy did not suggest and stupidly I did not presume I needed to do).
Monday: (day 12) Password changed. OK, done.
Wednesday (day14): I open my photo stream on the iphone and see screen shots of websites dated from as recently as day 10! These of course showed up on my iMac and my iPhone amongst my own photo shots. Talk about feeling violated and failed.
Moral of story: Can not trust that the erase feature works.
Change every single password you have as there is not assurance that a track has not been made.
And, do not have more than one user on your device: such as your spouse as their stuff could be compromized too.

The pages panel is not the place where you see this information. You can customize the Links panel to show all sorts of things, including the page number, effective and actual ppi, and whether the link is OK or needs updating.
