SAP HR configuration without Payroll Run !!

Dear Gurus/Experts,
I am facing the following problem with my client.
Here my client is using third party software (Paycare) instead of Sap Payroll. Now the client wants to configure in SAP HR Compensation Management, Benefits Administration, Appraisals, Travel Management and Training & Event Management etc.
Could you pls. let me know what all the necessary configurations I have to do in Payroll without running it.

To make HCM(Comp. Benfits etc.) work with out Payroll run in SAP is poosible. For that you need to have a interface which provide the link in between 3rd paty and SAP . As the Payroll data is availbale in SAP thru the interface than we dont need to run the SAP pyaroll.

According to SAP help you need to implement Organizational management at least in order to be using Personnel Cost Planning.
However, depending on the functions you require you need to implement other HR submodules and integrate with Personnel Cost Planning component. For this integration considerations please check below:

How/ where to change a weekly off to working day, working day to weekly off by maintaining IT0007 is 7-time evaluation without payroll integration

Dear Experts
We are doing Negative Time Management where we record only deviations
But customer has third party time machine which required to be integrated with SAP system
As I know, from the time recording terminal, i should map SAP number to all employees and then get a text mail the details with employee attendance for the respective dates and times. Then, have to create a ABAP report which will read the text file and update clock in/out with date into SAP system. After this we can check employee attendance infotype 2011.
But, Before going for above, time administrator wants to set IT0007 as 7- time evaluation without payroll integration, then maintain data in IT0050 & IT2011
Then run Time Evaluation then the out put will be according to the data maintained in IT 2011. Now the requirement is, time administrator wants to change eg. the day is suppose to be working day for any employee but based on adjustments that day became weekly off, another employee suppose to work but again due to some adjustments that day became weekly off, so how this time administrator can change this and where. This is like, time administrator need to see the total work schedule for an employee and needs to change whichever data and whenever or after time evaluation, he could see the total work schedule as desired.
And also, time administrator wants to change schedule manually for any of the employee during that particular period and view the same.
Please note that, ESS/MSS haven't implemented yet.

I have created a workschedule on wednesday In a year there can be weekly off 5 or 6 times on Saturday or Sunday So in that case there is no need to create three workschedules we can create one workschedule and change the days Again we need to regenerate the workschedules inorder to take 'off's" in to account. that is what iam thinkinng at the moment. Yes there is no need to do anything in IT 007 If there is any change in Shift in that Case User has to change workschedule in IT 007.
If there is weekly off he can select the dates on which day it is falling and generate the workschedule.
for changing shifts he should change work schedule in IT 007
Is this is right approach please throw some light on this
My client requirement was Sometimes there can be weekly off in the company It can be either wednesday off or saturday off or
unday off or it can be any day.

Time Management Status 7 without Payroll Integration.

when do we go about Time Management Status - 7 - without Payroll Integration.
In this case how the process goes on SAP. what do we do in this status. do we record employees attendances in 2002 IT

Hi KVN,
You are using time management status 7 which means that no integration to payroll.Now as far as ur Quotas are considered then please use RPTQTA00 which is just a program and RPTIME00 or PT60 which will run time evaluation and if u want your Quotas to generate in time evaluation then just change V_556A_B in this table to increase so with time evaluation and no generation for Quotas to be with time evaluation.
The client may ask sometimes for few Quotas to be prorated on a daily basis and so on in that case go with TE Quota generation
else RPTQTA00 is ok.So see ur business and use either of it

Off-Cycle Payroll Run with reason Absence.

We are trying to execute Off-Cycle Payroll Run with reason Absence, however the /559 and /560 are showing Zero amount.
We are running it via Offcycle workbench. Would it really make a difference?
Here are the main configurations I have done:
1. We have executed the regular payroll run for past one month (Jan 2010).
2. We have maintained a 10 days absence for next month (Feb 2010)
3. The Absence valuation is configured to generate WT 3000, in which I am able to pull the number of absence hours.
My question is how to I get the per hour rate multipled by number of absence hours AUTOMATICALLY. I am looking to do it with configuration instead of PCR. Any thoughts?
Scenario: Current month (Jan) regular payroll is over, and employee applied for half month leave in next month(Feb). Now, employee wants to take salary for those 15 leave days before going for leaves.

I am not sure, if this functionality can be achieved without a PCR.
I guess you need to write a PCR for this....
Still you can try this using constants dependent on wage types path is IMG ->Payroll->Time Wage Type Valuation->Valuation Bases->Constant Valuation Bases->Constants Dependent on wage types.
I have a question here, if you are paying the employee for the half month of absence before he took the leave, how will the system know when you run the regular payroll for him at the end of the month that employee already got paid for the half month absence?
You should make sure that system doesnt pay him twice......

Golive from Jan 2015, Enrollment starts during Mid Jan thru Portal, Deduction should happen thru next payroll run, We are closing the enrollment during Mid March 2015.
Payroll runs in ADP, What settings to be done in SAP for deductions and postings, advise to ADP while sending PY data.
Sequential integration check points and respective configuration steps will be helpful

Time Management without Payroll?

Has anyone implemented Time Management without Payroll? I am in the process of coming up with a design on retrieving payable hours from the B2 cluster and send them to an external payroll system. The problem I am running into is knowing what has changed (if hours were added or deleted in the past) without having to keep my own version of the cluster the last time Time Eval was run and comparing to this time.
Any help is appreciated...

You have to use the Report RPTEZL00 to made the wagetypes for the other payroll - the problem was the table T599Z - that is used to translate the SAP LGA into the other LGA - the check ends in both times in T512W

HCM Master Data Loan repayments date change after payroll run

I am facing a challenge in a case in which the car loan has been posted in the month of Dec’13 and payroll have been executed till Feb’14.
Now, the employee has taken relevant approvals for getting the car loan moved from Dec’13 to Nov’13 loan payment and this will also result in change in the end date of the loan.
Is there any option/possibility in SAP that we can change the start and end date of an employee who has taken Loan keeping in mind that the payrolls have been executed.
Hope it clarifies my problem if this still need to be explain further, please let me know.

The Query is not very clear to me.
I think u want to change the date of joining after the payroll run along with position. If that is the case then u can do it.
Please followw the given steps :-
1) Go to PU03 for Payroll Status and delete all the dates, before doing it take a snapshot of the PU03. So that after changing it u can revert back to what it was.
2) Go to PA41, move to HIRING action and u'll get BEGDA in modifiable mode, then change it. Save it. But the noticeable thing is that ur present Position shud have a creation date well before ur new HIRING date otherwise u won't be allowed to change.
3) Thinking u have changed the date in Step #2, then go to SE16 and select PA0001, go to debugger mode and change the POSITION id. save it and come out and refresh it. Changes will be updated.
Hope this solves the purpose.

I am new to Solaris. I have installed Solaris 10 and compiled packages without any error.
I have tried to compile Wireshark 1.7.1 and it was exist indicating '/usr/include/sys/feature_tests.h no such file or directory'.
So I have download feature_tests.h file and uploaded it to the relevant location and run ./configure again.
Now I am not able to compile any package and it indicate error

CRT results are not appearing after successful payroll run

CRT results are not appearing after successful run of US payroll, however, RT results are appearing.
Please suggest ideas to find the results of CRT.

Here are the answers to your questions . . . .
QUESTION: Did you run a Payroll Simulation or a live Payroll Calculation ?
ANSWER: We did a LIVE payroll run for a period of 3 months.
QUESTION: Did you use t-code pc_payresults ?
ANSWER: Yes, we used the t-code pc_payresults but still it doesn't show the CRT results.
QUESTION: Did you check Processing Class 30 and 70 for your WTs ?
ANSWER: As per the process, we copied the SAP standard (model) Wage Type M010 to
our customized Wage Type, hence, hope that it wouldn't disturb any of the standard SAP settings.
However, we did check the Processing Class 30, but did not check the processing class 70.
Shall update you once PC 70 is also checked.
Please educate, if there are any particular specifications that need to be entered while checking
for our WTs in PC 30 & PC 70.

Error: No SAP Business one application is running

Hi
I got error "No SAP Business one application is running" when try to start our Add-on from SBO Client using remote desktop.
Problem Description: Add-on has been installed on server successfully. I want to access remote desktop of the client machine, and when login remotly to the client machine and open SBO client and start our addon from addon manager then it gives the above error.
If we dont access the client machine remotely and login to the client machine directly then addon connected well.
suggest me what to do to resolve this error.

I was just approached by someone else with such an issue...
We use Windows Terminal Services Client to access training systems - without issues.
Do you use sth like Citrix with load balancing?
There such issues might happen, but I don't have a real good idea what the issue might be in your case.
Maybe someone else has experienced the same problem - and resolved it?
