  • Custom report on payroll and time evaluation results

    Hello Experts,
My client would like to have a custom report on payroll and time evaluation results , can you please provide me with 2 options of achieving them.
    Thanks,
    Regi

    Hi,
The time clusters are found using reports RPCLST*(B2, B1, PC etc) via SE38. You can find the time clusters under the time menu in the menu tree.
PCL1 - Database for HR work area
    PCL2 - Accounting Results (time, travel expense and payroll);
The database table PCL2 contains the following data areas:
    B2 time accounting results
CD cluster directory of the CD manager
    PS generated schemas
    PT texts for generated schemas
    RX payroll accounting results/international
    Rn payroll accounting results/country-specific ( n = HR country indicator )
    ZL personal work schedule
Tto retrieve payroll results accesse SAP transaction PC_PAYRESULT for all countries.
Finally u can get the results for time PT_CLSTB2 , for Payroll PC_PAYRESULT. With this t.codes u can get the require results for ur custom report.

    Devi.

Now the company wants is to configure the time realted activites from 26.03.2007  to 26.04.2007.

  • What is SAP-ICM - Incentive and Commission Management ?

Can u explain me about SAP-ICM, its functionality and transaction codes and tables involved in it.
If possible with some sample programs related to it.
    thanks.

    Hi,
Incentive plans are maintained within ICM. You use this process to transfer sales transaction data to the ICM incentive plan for commission calculation.
You use this business scenario to create, manage and report on incentive and commission compensation plans within your organization. It utilizes the Incentive and Commission Management (ICM) engine residing in SAP R/3 Enterprise where plan administrators are able to efficiently craft and administer complex variable compensation plans. CRM ICM includes two standard means of transferring data to ICM for the purpose of driving your incentive processing:
    ·        Transferring CRM documents to ICM through a configured document interface
    ·        Transferring SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) data to ICM through a general BW transfer interface
When using the configured document interface, you use SAP CRM transaction data (including sales order, sales contract or resale order) to drive your direct or indirect variable compensation processes. This allows you the flexibility to trigger commission calculations at nearly any point in the sales cycle from booking of an order to receipt of invoice payment. The calculated compensation results are extracted into both SAP BW and CRM and paired up with their original transaction data. Sales staff can then track their current performance – as well as model their potential compensation based on their sales pipelines – through content accessed via the Sales Manager Portal and the Sales Representative Portal. Based on your implementation, you also have the ability to support partner sales representatives.
When using the general BW interface, you are able to drive your variable compensation processes from BW. This interface enables you to easily leverage all of the analytical capabilities of BW in order to prepare data (for example, activity data) that is to be used in ICM for award calculation.

  • SAP XI : Date and Time Service

    Hi All,
Is there any runtime variable or service  in SAP XI through which I can
map the current DATE and TIME of the system. Currently I am using XSLT mapping and
in that XSL I am calling java code for Date and Time.
So is there any other way through which I can Map the date in the output field
without calling Java code in XSLT.
    Thanks
    Farooq

    hi,
you can do it from java - if you use XSLT on java stack
you can do it from ABAP - if you use XSLT on ABAP stack
there are also java functions for date
    in message mapping
so you can put two mappings (in your <b>interface mapping</b> object):
    one XSLT
and one message mapping which will only fill the date
to see how many mappings work have a look at my weblog:

  • SAP BI Date and Time Difference calculations in DSO Transformation

    Hello Guys,
Could you please tell me how to calculate the date and Time difference between 2 fields.
    I have 2 date fields :
    Arrival Date : 6/16/2007
    Departure date : 6/19/2007
Also i have 2 time fields for the above
    Arrival Time : 13:00:00
    Departure Time : 11:50:00
I want to display all the four fields and 2 fields for the difference in Date and Time.
Is it better to calcuate the differences in DSO Transformation or can you do it in the report itself.Could you please let me know the solution.
    Thanks,
    BI Consultant

    Hello Consulant BI,
Computing the difference of two dates is easy (assuming you really just want the number of days). You can simply subtract the two dates using ABAP:
    data: w_arrival_date type sy-datum,
            w_dep_date type sy-datum,
            w_diff type i.
    w_arrival_date = <your arrival date field here>.
    w_arrival_date = <your departure field here>.
    w_diff  = w_arrival_date - w_dep_date.
Getting the time difference isn't really much logical. I think what you want instead is to compute the totals days (and extra hours) right? If this is the case, then you can convert the date+time for both the arrival and departure  into a timestamp variable first and then t the get difference.
    Hope this helps.

  • Manager's Desktop and Time Manager's Workplace

Hi All, we want to use TMW within MDT. TMW should start with the employees selected by the Manager's Desktop. Is it possible to do this?
    Thanks
    Gerard

Hi, thank you for the answer. I know that I can start TMW from the Manager's Desktop platform but even if I select one employee in MDT and than I start TMW, the TMW comes up with all the employees for who I am the time administrator.
I know I should use (or create) another selection rule but I cant find the right one. Do you have any idee?
    Thanks,
    Gerard

  • Integration payroll and time mgt

    Dear All,
I need to know the integration program which is between time and payroll.
    Regards,
    kumar

    Hello Kumar,
The Payroll driver program RPCALCU0 uses the Standard Schema U000 to process Payroll which takes care of integration between Time and Payroll.
The time wage types determined by time evaluation in tables ZL, ALP, and C1 (Cluster B2) represent the interface between time evaluation and payroll accounting
Function IMPRT B2 imports the time wage types determined by time evaluation from Cluster B2 to payroll accounting, and valuates them
Payroll accounting performs a projection according to schema TC00 or TC04 for the days in the payroll run that have not yet been processed by time evaluation
Hope this gives highlevel idea. Please award points if you feel this is helpful.

  • File naming, archiving and time management

I've posted on this subject before, but I have a new twist that I'd like to get some feedback on.
I usually import my photos, keeping the master (now called original) file name until the end of the calendar year.  At the end of the year, I like to change the original name for classification and archiving purposes.  By then, I've usually made all of the deletions for the year, so I feel comfortable renaming the photos with some sort of counter or index.  My preferred classification system is: "Custom Name"/"Image Date_"/"Counter" (0000).
The problem that I'm experiencing is that it is impossible to rename my originals using this format without some inaccuracies if I try to name them all at once without readjusting the computer's internal time zone settings.  I live on the east coast, so if I have a photo shot at 10:30 pm PDT on 2011-03-14, it gets named with a date of 2011-03-15, which obviously isn't accurate for when that photo was shot.  Well, it is accurate based on East Coast Time, but I want the file to be renamed with the date that it was shot, where it was shot, not where my computer currently resides.  Of course, I could rename the batch of 2011 photos in segments, but that would mean multiple quits/reopens from Aperture in order to change the time zone appropriately.
It seems that my only choices are to either rename my photos at the time of import using the correct time zone settings on my computer, or to not use this renaming format.  Neither of these options are very appealing, since this renaming format is my preferred method.
I guess my question is: does anyone have any insights or advice on either how to better work around this problem, or if not, other renaming methods that they like to use for archival and organizational purposes?  I know there are many to choose from, but I'm looking for something simple, which also provides direct information about the image, should I want to reference my Originals (which I do outside of Aperture from time to time).
Thanks for adding to this discussion...

Personally I create a folder for each Project and copy pix from CF card into those folders. Then I import from the backup hard drive into Aperture using the folder name as the Project name.
Usually each Project includes only one day or less, and I may have YYMMDD_JonesWed_A, YYMMDD_JonesWed_B, etc. for a large or multiday shoot. I do not let any Project contain more than ~400 Nikon D2x RAW+JPEG files.
Projects are just that and never put into folders other than by month and/or year, just a forever chronological list. All organizing is done via Albums and Keywords. JonesWed_2011 is a keyword that can be an Album instantly when needed; bride is a keyword; wed is a keyword; flower is a keyword; etc.
I use wedding just as an example. The process applies to all kinds of shoots.
I use the 1-9999 Nikon auto-numbering of image files, and never rename image files except  sometimes during export. That way original image names can always be found across mass storage devices in the future independent of any application.

Why do you keep the photo count in a project to around 400 files or so?  Is it detrimental to speed, or are there other considerations that have led you to work this way?

So, you are saying that you sometimes put projects into folders by month and/or year?  Or, do you just keep all projects at the top level of the hierarchy?  The only folders I use are at the top of my hierarchy, and they are by year, 2002, 2003, 2004...2012.  I then keep all of my projects in the appropriate year.  I used to keep folders that were named things like, "Travel", "Occasions"..., but this became problematic when I had overlap, and images could fit in more than one designated folder.

It sounds as though you don't actually rename your images at all, but rather just keep the original names.  I don't like to do this because after deletions, it creates gaps in my sequence, and I also end up with multiple images with the same name.  I like for each image to have its own unique identifier by name.
I'm considering importing the images using a version name, where the version is named by the image date.  I'll keep the original file name intact until the end of the year, and then, should I decide to rename my files, I could base my renaming system off of the version name.  This will automatically capture the date of the image without being reliant on my computer's time zone settings.
