When you run time evaluation through PT60 schema TM00 you will get the following:
1. Clock in and Clock out entry
All recorded time data documenting the actual attendance times or the actual absence times of employees.
Actual time has the opposite meaning of planned working time.
Example:
According to the work schedule, an employee is supposed to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on December 3, 1999 (planned working time). The actual time data (actual times) from this day is shown below:
8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Attendance
2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Absence - doctor's appointment
2. SKELETON TIME
skeleton time is a time account in which payment-related times of an employee are managed.
Skeleton time is determined in time evaluation.
Example:
Skeleton time in the standard SAP System consists of:
u2022 Attendance, absence, and off-site work within a contractual period (start and end of working time)
u2022 Overtime hours that exceed approved overtime
u2022 Paid break times
3. FLEXTIME
Working time pattern in which employees can individually determine their own start and end times, as long as a certain number of hours is worked within a defined period of time each day.
*4. FILL TIME
A specific period of working time described in time evaluation that lies within the contractual start and end of working time (excluding breaks).
If an employee works a flextime schedule and is also expected to be at work at certain times (core times), then fill time indicates the difference between the start and end of working time (without breaks) and the core times
5. PRODUCTIVE TIME
The usable working time for a resource. The system determines the productive time using the working time data and utilization rate for the resource as follows:
Productive time = (End of working time - start of working time - break
duration) x Rate of utilization / 100%.
You estimate the downtime at the resource using the utilization rate.
And the results of the following will depend on your settings...
Time evaluation will update the quotas and it will form time balances

Oracle +ve time management vs SAP -ve time management
Hello Experts,
Currently our client is using oracle where if any employee works more than his planned time and any extra hours, it automatically shows the OT hours and upon his manager approval this will be included in payroll.
As ESS in scope with negative time management, what would be the best way to do this.

No exactly like this. No need to enter any data manually. System can generate it.
In fact IT2007 has OT allowance role in this scenario and the whole data will be in IT2011(clock-as in/out), IT2002 (as an attendance) or IT2001 (as an Absence).
Based on manager approval system will break record of IT2007 into two separate record. One as approved overtime and second as unapproved overtime(or extra work).

Payroll using time evaluation with clock times
Dear all,
I have configured an employee to have time management status 1, and my company would like to use attendance for time recording instead of time event since our clocking interface cannot provide exact clock times. I have also configured HRSIF to return 1 for all conditions.
I found every thing run correctly after creating the attendance records for all days of a payroll period while all attendance hours are equal to the planned work time. However, I have modified some of the days to attendance hours less than planned working hours (with no exact time inputted), I've noticed that the time evaluation can be processed successfully, but the attendance hours are not being calculated in the payroll result.
Does SAP actually support payroll for attendance with no exact clock time? If yes, what may I miss in my configurations?

Thanks for the advice.
For suggestion 1, yes, it can do I want if the attendance hours is actuall equal to the planned working hours. However, say I have a case that the planned working hours is 8, and a workman shows up for 6 hours and take 2 hours leave, the system still require me to enter the clock time in order to get the attendance and absence be calculated.
For suggestion 2, I understand that there's always be way if I do programming, however, my company decided not to do any customization, so I should first find if there's a default solution in SAP.

Positive time or Negative Time. with or without time evaluation. How many PSA whether all have same type of work schedules, quotas and time management aspects.
Holiday Calendar: Query on Holiday characteristics like, floating holiday, distance to Easter, Movable holiday, Etc.
Holiday class:
Day type: whether particular holiday is paid, unpaid.
Breaks: Variable breaks, fixed breaks, dynamic breaks or overtime breaks.
Daily work schedule: start and end time, core timing.
Period work schedule: rotating shift - how many weeks, daily work schedule for 2nd week. , normal shift
Quota: How many Quotas, Base entitlements, how it has to get deducted?
when it has to get accrued. is there any condition for getting accrued.
How they want to generate the Quota manually or through report.
Please let us know incase you require any further clarification.

Hi friends,
I am working on overtime. Pcru2019s TO01 & TO02.
When I am running the RPTIME00 program, the time type of overtime i.e. 0040 are not seen in the ZES or SALDO tables. I had booked more than planned working time for over time.
As for the overtime hrs booked the ZL table is populated.
Why the time type 0040 is not storing the Overtime values in ZES & SALDO Tables?

In the PCR processing of the log it is sending the values to the 0040 TT. But the values are not displayed in TES<, ZES, SALDO.
Why it is not picking or checking the time type is avalible in the table V_T555A & Not storing the values any of the above tables? -
Optional Holidays In SAP HR Time management issue
Hi,
I have a usual request from a client. However for SAP it is unusual. As I understand there is no standard configuration for an optional holiday. I am posting this question here.
There are 5 PSA on client system, and each of them have different holiday calendar. It is achieved in a straight forward way.
Now an additional requirement is that client wants to introduce a list of 10 holidays as common optional holidays across company. Out of these 10 holidays, an employee should be able to choose only one. All the threads speak of use of IT2006. however we do not use IT2006 in our system.
Is there anyway we can configure this without IT2006?That is a good solution. I too thought of it as a good way. But when i started to checkout on that in system, like i have mentioned the client is not using Absence quotas 2006. they are using IT0005, leave entitlements. and i have never worked on this before. they have an idea of migrating to IT2006 soon but for now they need this to be fixed. can this be achieved using IT0005 also in a similar way? also will be great if anyone can share configuration key for IT0005.

SAP HR Time Management (Sick leave Cycle)

I trust this finds you in good order.
I have a request from the business to stop the current sick leave cycle and create a new one. Sick leave cycle run on the 3 year cycle based on employee engagement date, previously they were employees whose sick leave cycle was uploaded based on the new company policy and as a result their sick leave cycle did not use the employee engagement date into consideration, hence this need to be corrected.
I've attached IT0000, IT0041 and IT2006.

If you want to create one There should be a period from 2012 till 2014
This is how it should be
01.04.2012 till 31.03.2013 Current Sick Leave
When you delimit and give the period 01.01.2014 It will end the period till 31.12.2013.
So The second period will be
01.04.2013 till 31.12.2013
To create a new one
You just need to create a record 01.04.2013 till 31.12.2016.
But you created a record till 2015 You have to delete old record with correct date in order to create a new one
Suggest you do the same in quality server before you do in production server. -

You cant show the employee as absent and working both. If you want the system to consider him absent itself then you dont need to do anything as he already has the leave record for the week. But if you want to show him working then you will have to remove absence and maintain attendance for that day.
