SAP inbox work item forwarding is not working properly

Hi,
We are having problem in forwarding the work item in ECC Upgraded environment.
If USER1 forward a Work item to USER2, the work item is disappearing from USER1's inbox. also the same the same forwarded copy is available in the USER1 Outbox.
But it is not reaching the USER2's inbox. Not able to trace where it is going. the USER1 has the authorizations to forward the work items.
Is there any settings or changes that needs to be done in ECC6 for forwarding?

SAP Inbox t code sbwp is not working properly

Hi,
In our SAP server the SAP mail box t code SBWP is not working at a particular time between 11 AM to 12 AM. If we send internal mails between SAP users in t code SBWP we are able to receive all the time but at a particular time of 11 AM to 12 AM we are not able to receive any mail.
If we send any mail at that particular time after 11 AM we are receiving it only after 12 AM, but this error we are not facing expect that particular time.
I have checked whether any backgroung work process is Active at that time but all the BG work process are free at that time
please help me how to solve this issue.

Enhanced Notifications(SWNCONFIG) Vs Work-item Forward Program (RSWUWFML2)

Is there an easy way to find out the advantages of using Enhanced Notifications SWNCONFIG configurations over scheduling the work-item forward program RSWUWFML2? We are on Ep 7.0/ECC 6.0 and configuring UWL for work-item execution and receiving notifications. For occasional users, we are planning to send email notifications to the Outlook email addresses using RSWUWFML2 and the the SCOT internet Send programs. Are there any added advatnages of configuring Advanced notifications?
Appreciate any ideas.

Yes, there are several advantages, but you may not need all of them. It takes a little extra effort to set it up, but that's a one-time effort and we are not talking weeks or days.
However, the primary argument is that this is the standard solution for work item notification. So you are recommended to use the enhanced notification solution whether you need the advantages or not.
One advantage is additional flexibility in which work items should be checked. You can choose to send notifications to people who don't have new work items, but have not yet completed the work items they (probably) have been notified about before.
Another advantage is additional flexibility in message contents and the number of messages sent to the user. RSWUWFML2 lets you choose between one message and one message per work item. In the new solution you can also send one message per category, although I am not sure what a category is.
Further advantages:
- Multiple schedules can be set up, so you don't have to use SM37 to get an overview of your notification schedules and you can send notifications every hour from 09 to 15 and every 4 hours the rest of the day if you wish. There is a time zone field in the schedule configuration. Whether it is used just to make sure the job runs at the desired time or is even more amazingly advanced (only notifying users when their own time zone shows the same time) I don't know.
- There's more, but since I have never set it up myself I have not read all of the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/b9/2a651eb04411d2b46f006094b9ea0d/frameset.htm">documentation from SAP</a> which includes typical scenarios to help you with configuration.

Work item forward when dead line reached

Hi Every one,
I got change request to deploy the dead line monitoring for the purchase requisition workflow.
The workflow existing start with the agent determination step which will determines the approver and after that it has a custom user decision step( Dead line monitoring must be implemented for this task ) which will call the ME53N and if we say back it will give a pop-up with 3 options which are 'Approve' ,'Reject','Cancel'.The user will select one of the option and after that there is multiple decision step which have 3 branches will select one of the branch according to the user selected option and the flow continues so on.
Business Requirement:
If level 1 does not release requisition in one day, then it must go to Level 2.If level 2 does not release that requisition within three days then it must go to Level 3, escalation stops at level 3 and the work item must stay until unless level 3 make the action on the work item.
The work item forward must be happen when escalation takes place not the notification.
Please let me know the information aforesaid is not clear at any point.

You can do this in many ways. This is one of them:
- Create a loop that goes around for the number of approval levels (so, 3-level approval means loop 3 times)
- Inside the loop, create a 2-branch fork with only one mandatory branch to complete: one for approval and the other waiting for "expired" event
- Set up modeled deadline monitoring for the approval step. Once the deadline is reached, you need to fire the "expired" event which will process the other fork branch.
- After the expiration branch is executed, you can add any tasks to change the status, etc.

Hi Experts,
I found that Add shopping cart item functionality is not working in Purchase order.
We are raising the Purchase order in SRM and i am trying to use the Add shopping cart item functionality to add the shopping carts line item in to purchase order.
Once I will click on start search, it will give me a list of Approved shopping cat and when I am trying to add any shopping cart in PO line item, nothing is happening and It is not allowing me to add the shopping cart line items in to this PO and also there is no error message.
Please suggest us how i can fix this issue.

If the shopping cart's have same vendor and company code, then only we can club the shopping carts
in to single PO.

SAP BW Bex 7.3 Queries not working with Enterprise Portal (EP) 7.3 ABAP Stack
Dear Portal Gurus,
we want to integrate SAP BW Bex Queries 7.3 into an Enterprise Portal 7.3 EP ABAP Stack only installation.
1) We have Done SSO between EP And BI System
2) System Object is Created
3) When we trying to create Iview of BEX 7.3 report, its executing that report on BI server, we don't have java stack on BI System
4) We have updated the required table in Bi system for executing the report on EP
5) RFC is OK, System Object Test is OK, Report is working independently from Business Explorer, but not working from EP
There no irj services available on BI system, as it is only ABAP stack.
Can anybody help us in achieving our requirement

To integrate portal with BI you need to perform BI Portal integration steps.

Item level security not working when placed in a portlet page

I have three page links linking to separate pages and have two of them with item level security turned on for specific groups with view privilges. I have the access for those groups with view privilges in the page level as well. I have published that as portlet and placed the portlet in another page which has view priviliges for the groups specified in item level as well.
But I notice that when i place the portlet in a page, the item level security is not working.
Item Level Security Not Working for Items Placed on a page and published as portlet and placed in another page. Is there some work around for this.

Would you please clarify for me? Is the problem that unauthorized people can see the portlet, or that unauthorized people can see the links?

Call Forwarding Number Not Working

Hi I have just purchased a skype phone number in Australia for 3 months and have redirected my calls to a number in the Philippines whilst I am on holidays. When I ring this number (Australia Skype number) it isnt being diverted to my Philippine phone number. I have added the number and whenever I return to tab the details for Call Forwarding are being erased. Advice appreciated as I am not receiving calls on mobile.

I am also facing this same problem of Call forwarding no. not working , I am having a Hong Kong Phone skype no. and have diverted to my India no. however when some body calls me on my HK no. the no. is not connected. I am covered with all the subscriptions required for call transfer , Please suggest urgently as i am loosing on reciving calls from all my impotant no.

SAP Inbox messages automatically forwarded to SOST

Hi,
We are in SMR7.0 Sp7.
We have scheduled the deadline monitoring job SWWDHEX and system is generating the message for latest end reached in the useru2019s SAP Inbox as a notification. We understand that the message from SAP Inbox can be forwarded to users email using the automatic forwarding settings through SO12.
However we notice that an email is sent to the user through SOST/SCOT even though we have not maintained the SO12 settings.
Is it standard SAP behavior that a SAP Inbox message is automatically sent to SOST? Or is there any other setting (other than SO12) , that enables the forwarding of SAP Inbox message to SOST? We would like to stop this automatic forwarding of SAP inbox message to SOST.

No. Forwarding is standard behavior. It is general behavior, This, you can see in normal R/3 also..
If your problem is NOT resolved as i said, shout BASIS consultants. They will make it worked.
Alert mechanism is different , in SRM 7.0, alert mechanism is given .
Donot get confusion.

Not necessarily. That only works as stated if you have one of the most recent MBP's that has a built-in HDMI port.
If the MBP only has a Thunderbolt or miniDisplayPort, you need an appropriate adapter cable and even if you use an HDMI adapter or cable to connect to your HDTV there is no guarantee it will carry audio. You have to determine if your specific MBP model supports audio out through its miniDisplayPort or Thunderbolt output, and whether the adapter does likewise.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.

An external hyperlink should handoff to Safari and leave iBooks.
If that's not happening, perhaps there is something misconfigured on your iPad? Have you manually confirmed those links work in Safari on your iPad?

Installed latest Firefox update v25.0.1 on WinXP Pro 2002 SP2 and now it does not work. Reset does not work.

The detailed instructions go into firewall config bs. HOW DO I remove Firefox from my program's list of trusted or recognized programs? What does this have to do with Firewalls? Why is this happening in the first place? Can I revert to an earlier version. My Firewall is OFF. These instructions suck.
