SAP Bex API documentation

I'm looking for a list of functions exposed through SAP business explorer API along with detail description.
Can any one point me to correct location. I was not able to find any details Bex API documentation.

I am not so sure that VBA is goin gto give you what you need here. This is all I was able to find of rdocumentation of the SAPBEX functions. Its not much, but that is all I could find. I feel like I have seen a more comprehensive document on the functions availble in 7.0, but I cannot find it. I seem to recall reading in that documentation that things were a good bit different between the two versions.

SAP IS-Media SoD Rule Set

I would like to know if anyone have a rule set for the IS-Media SAP solution, specially for the M/SD and M/PS modules

Hi Ricardo,
A few years ago I was looking for IS specific rule sets also, but it seems that there is no SAP standard developed version openly available. I know some GRC implementing specialists (and audit companies) have built up so called "Starter" rule sets for IS solutions, but to get your hands on it, you would have to involve them in your project and allow them to devise a custom governance framework and rule set for your company (i.e. pay for their services and intellectual property).
From personal experience, if you have a confident understanding of the SAP standard rule set, you could relate IS specific t codes to the standard ECC tcodes and make custom functions and risks similar to the ones in the SAP standard rule set.
In addition, I would also get function specialists, Internal and External Audit involved and see if any risks have been reported in regards to your IS-Media transactions/processes and see if you can write your own rules up with the information at hand.
If you feel you have little confidence in trying to device your custom rules and instead need the professional help, it may be worth reaching out to your auditors or the GRC specialists to help you devise the ruleset.

SAP IS-Media: Mass write-off leads to reversal of already paid billing document

Hi All,
We have business issue in IS-Media as below
While doing mass write-off using transaction code FP04M, already existed payment document for that particular cycle is getting reversed.
we can see payment reversal document under liability account - payments tab of the order.
We know this is not specific to particular customer.
We would like to understand why while doing write off, already existed payment document is getting reversed. We request experts to help us on this at the earliest.

Thank you very much for your answer. When we run the monitoring process program RJKREMIND01, the system generates reversal billing documents to reverse billing documents from orders that have not been paid. This happens when the orders are in the closure monitoring level. The reversal document set in customizing isn't suitable in this case due to fiscal reasons, so we need to change the reversal billing document when we run RJKREMIND01.

SAP BPM Job Documentation - Mass Import

Hello,
A few questions regarding the feature of job documentation in Solution Manager Job Management.
When doing a mass import of the jobs by RFC we had the following issues:
1 - The import process takes a lot of time, there are thousands of queries to DMDattribute table. I'm only importing 190 jobs that took around 15-30 minutes. Do you know any note or configuration to fix this?
2 - Because import took a lot of time, the first time we had a timeout of 600s in ICM, and the import process was interrupted. How can we massively delete the jobs documentation? I know that the standard procedure is not to delete, but to change the jobs status to 'DELETED', but still if I could really deleted them and redo the import from scratch would be a lot better. If mass delete is not possible, is there a way of doing a mass update of the job status, from "IN PROCESSING" to "DELETED"?

SAP ME Webservice Documentation?

Is there a document describing the web services of SAP ME?
In some cases the WSDL definition and a little bit try&error is sufficient (e.g. ProductionProcessing.Start/Complete), but in many other cases the meaning of the parameters is unclear (e.g. ProductionProcessing.LogParametricData) and I don't find the correct parameterization.

Anyone have Virsa/SAP Compliance Calibrator documentation?

I'd really like a Virsa "Owners Manual", but for now I'd just settle for an explanation of all the parameters contained in table /VIRSA/ZVRATCNFG. Some are self explanatory, some are not. To maintain this table do the following:
1. tcode /n/virsa/zvrat
2. execute
3. menu: compliance calibrator > configuration option
I'd like to know what each parameter does, the possible entries, and the cause and effect result of each entry. Any help will be appreciated.

It appears to me that the only credentials required to access that site are SAP Service Marketplace logon (the so-called 'S number'). You can obtain these from the person in your company that administers your SAP licence (usually a basis person). Or, you can apply yourself at http://service.sap.com/request-user .
It is forbidden in this forum to send copywrited documents from user to user.

SAP DMS - Document Management System
SAP DMS are for storing documents such as CAD drawings, Materials pictures etc.
With the document management system, users will be able to view the documents with ease within their SAP systems.
Installing the SAP DMS requires a little bit of planning on how you want to do it.
You have to give a little thoughts to stuff such as :-
1. The total numbers of documents that will be store monthly.
2. The average file size of each documents.
3. The capacity of your present R/3 system.
4. Your present network bandwidth.
5.   Document Archiving Strategy.
6.   Backup and Recovery Plan.
Additional purchasing of hardware are required, especially if you have large amount of documents to stored.
With this in mind, you can then decide on how you want to do it.
You can do this in a few ways :-
1. Import the documents into the R/3 system.
2. Use an external document server.
3. Have a dedicated PCs where all the documents are stored.
Most companies that intend to used DMS will opt for Option 2 as they does not want to overstretch the R/3 database.
Options 1 requires you to setup the conversion interface.
The conversion interface allows R/3 to automatically covert your files and import it into the R/3 database.
Here is a simple example of storing documents into your PCs, just to have a feel how the SAP DMS works:-
For those using Citrix, you have to set this at the Citrix Server where the SAPGUI is located.
Configure SM30 - V_TDWE_C1
Put this command in your autoexec.bat
SET HOSTNAME=PC1234
Restart your pc.
You can create/manage your documents in transaction code CV01N / CV02N
Assigning Documents to a Material Master Record
Access a material master record in Create or Change mode, and select Basic Data.
To create links to documents, choose Additional data -> Document data.
The Link to Documents dialog box appears.
Assign one or more documents to the material.
If you do not know what the document number is, you can search for it using the search help or by choosing Find document.
When assigning a document to a material, you have the following options:
1. Viewing the document by choosing it in the Link to Documents dialog box.
2. Viewing any originals of the document by positioning the cursor on the document and
   choosing Display originals in the Link to Documents dialog box.
To return to the Basic Data screen, choose Continue.
Save your data.
Do award points if you found them useful.
