Hai All
How to create site goup,

Hi,
To create Site Group : Logistics --> Retailing -->Site Master --> Grouping --> Promotion --> Create (WB60).
The small window popped up with three option : Customer, Site Grouping, Site Hierarchy. Select Site Grouping option and enter required data as per your requirement.
Assign Sites to Site Group: Logistics --> Retailing > Master Data> Site Data--> Grouping > Promotion> Maintaining Assignment -->Sites in a class (WB66).
Select Site Grouping as option. You will observe screen with button "Only New assignments". When you click on this button, select plant radio button and continue. Now, you can add respective site into site group.

Article Grouping in its broader sense means grouping of Articles for ease of maintenance and business functions, either on the basis of Hierarchy or on the basis of Merchandise Category.Article Grouping is also primarily useful in promotions,wherein you can define a set of articles(which may not necessary fall under the same MC or Hierarchy) and club them together and assign them in a promotion.Txn codes used are : VBG1/2/3 - Create/Change/Display Article Group

Site Grouping is used for ease of maintenance by grouping the sites.It is also used to maintain the characteristics as well.This can also be used in Allocation Tables,promotion and Listing etc

Wb56 - Site Group, Alloc.table,Maintain Sites in Class
WB60 - Site Group,Create Promotions
WB64 - Site Group,Maintain SItes to Class

How to change the vendor code of site in SAP IS retail

Dear All,
In SAP IS Retail, At the time of site creation. we create Site Customer & Site Vendor with site creation. For example If Site code is "1228" then the Customer Code of site will be "C1228" & Vendor Code for site will be "V1228". If by mistake I entered wrong Vendor/customer code then how I can correct it ? "WB02" is not the doing it.
So my questions is How to change the vendor/Customer code of a site in SAP IS retail ? Which T-Code which be required for it ? Please explain me the steps for doing it.

How To create a rebate in SAP relating to a product group (3 digit). ??

Client requiremnt he has sent a mail to me -:
Kim (from Benelux) wants to create a rebate in SAP relating to a product group (3 digit).
We have seen that we can make rebates on product id, product line (2digit) and on material group (4 digit).
Can you please check if this is possible? If not, is a LRFC enough?

Idoc message for distributing site groups/site hierarchy in retail env

I am trying to distribute site group data (hierarchy: brand, territory, region, district, site) using an idoc. Does anyone know what idoc message/type I could use to do this?

Hi Bhoopal,
Go to Tcode WE19 and enter the Failed Idoc number(can be seen in WE02)
Go to Segment E1WPB04 and Double click on it you will see the Tax code and Tax Amount displayed.Change the Tax code as per what you have maintained in your Article master for eg : 0 - No Tax,1-Full Tax,2-Half tax etc.
Then Click on Standard Inbound and that should generate a new idoc and then check the status of the newly created Idoc whether it gets posted succesfully(With status 53)
NOTE : Make sure you used the correct currency since based on the country specific tax classification it might expect different tax rates(in case you maintained different tax rates based on the country)

Hi Sandhya,
The Site Number Ranges are external and no Internal number ranges have been provided.
However the number ranges for the DC and store that are created for a site can be controlled using the number range assigned to the Vendor and the Customer Account groups.
The Vendor and the Customer account groups are assigned to the Site Profile. These Site profile are used when the site is created in WB01. If the number range of the vendor and the customer is made as external it will use the same number range as the site that is being created. Its ideal if the customer and the vendor has the same code as the site itself.

While creating site collection, we have an option to to create site collection in root or under Sites. How can we add custom group"Coll" in that dropdown. so i can create site collection under my custom name "Coll"

Same as instead of sites , how can we create custom name to that dropdown?

- select the web application you want to create new managed path
- click on 'Managed Paths' from the ribben
- Add 'Coll' as a Managed path and Type : 'Wildcard inclusion' and click 'Add Path'
- then when you go and crate a new site collection under that web application you will see 'coll' as a managed path

How to Create Authorization Group for SAP Standard Tables

All,
I have 10 standard tables which are required to maintain by the user in Production environment.
Is there any way to create a custom auth group for the standard table?
Is it possible to assign same table in two different auth groups?

Multiple tables can be linked to an auth group, but one table can be linked to only one auth group.
You cannot link one table to more than one auth group.
It is always advised to try to find an existing auth group having tables of same functinality and criticality, before creating a new auth group.
In case you don't have any such auth group, I feel you can create a Z auth group using se16->tbrg.
You can also create auth group using tcode se54.

Promotions in SAP-IS Retail

Yes, you can do ..
Generally promotion is for Group of stores or Group of Customers. ( Retail & Whole Sale ) . Hence in WAK1 transaction, you can assign only the Groups and not the individual Store or Customer.
You can Create a Group for customers and run a promotion.
1. Create CLASS in CL01 , Select CLASS TYPE .011 ( Customers )
2. Assign the External customers to CLASS in CL24N,
3. Assign the created group in WAK1
but my question why do you need to group customers.?
When you create Whole Sale promotion Site Group is not a mandatory one . Whole sale promotion is applicable for all external customers which fall on that distribution chain and the promotion price will flow automatically when you raise a sales order for that customers.

In this step you create material groups.
You also have the option of using the same transaction to carry out the following activities:
Creating superior hierarchy levels
Assigning the superior hierarchy levels to a material group hierarchy
Assigning the base material group to the material group hierarchy
Assigning characteristics profiles below material group level
Requirements
Your R/3 System is configured as an SAP Retail System.
Activities
1. Create superior hierarchy levels
   You create hierarchy levels using transaction WG01 (creating
   material groups) via menu options MG environment --> Hierarchy
   level --> Create
2. Assign the superior hierarchy levels to a material group hierarchy
   You assign hierarchy levels to a hierarchy using transaction WG01
   (creating material groups) via menu options MG environment -->
   Hierarchy level --> Maint. MG hierarchy
3. Create material groups (base material groups) and then maintain the
   pre-defined materials (reference material/material group material)
4. Assign the base material group to the material group hierarchy
   You assign the material group to the hierarchy using transaction
   WG01 (creating material groups)
5. Assign characteristics profiles below material group level
   You assign characteristics profiles using transaction WG01
   (creating material groups)
Further notes
When creating material groups and then maintaining the pre-defined materials (reference material/material group material) you should be aware of the following.
As these materials can be created automatically using a minimum of data, you should follow this procedure with a check and possibly further maintenance, especially of plant-specific data. The material group reference material should be defined in as much detail as possible so as to keep the workload to a minimum when you have to create more materials for this material group.
All hierarchy allocations involving a material group (base material group) and a higher or lower hierarchy level can be carried out on the initial screen (there is no need to switch to the detail screen). All further hierarchy allocations can be defined top-down when you maintain material group hierarchies.
Only the material groups are transported automatically!

Urgent Deadline to Fix PC Mess Displaying iWeb Created Site -- Please Help!

IWeb 08 and web-design-savvy Mac users, I really need your help... and I'm on a tight deadline.
I've designed the website promoting our group's big event by using iWeb 08; I was very troubled when I discovered tonight that there are major display problems in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 on Windows PCs. This website is essential to promoting the event and I can't afford to lose traffic because of display issues.

Can anyone walk me through the best fixes for the following problems?
On a PC in Internet Explorer:
1) The home page display chokes up during scrolling; there's a sort of "stuttering" effect in rendering of simple images that slows down the PC and gums things up.
2) The layout of the center-justified text is trashed by Explorer's insertion of large blocks of blank spaces and a line return in an area where I change the color of the text for emphasis.
On my web pages that display the iWeb-generated navigation links:
3) The label for the final navigation link drops down to a second row, creating a ragged, poorly formatted look.
4) If you click on the navigation link for the current page, it takes you to the home page instead of keeping you on the current page.
None of these problems happen in Safari for Windows.
In Firefox for Windows, I believe that only problem 3 happens.
Explorer 7 for Windows appears to fix only problem 2.
-Will an "optimizer" program fix any or all of these problems?
-Can I open the iWeb-created html files in Netscape Composer, SeaMonkey, TextEdit, or any other application, change the html code to fix any of this, and save the repaired result?
-Is there any change in the formating within iWeb that I should try that will put things right on a PC?

Thank you. I will definitely build my own navigation menu, as you described to solve problems 3 and 4.
I'm still struggling with the decision of how to deal with issues 1 and 2 On a PC in Internet Explorer. (See below.)
I did already update to iWeb 2.0.3 before I created the site.

Here are options I'm considering.
One is to take screenshots of the site's current iWeb-generated graphics, turn them into jpegs, and reinsert them into the page as jpegs. My thinking is that it would eliminate any Explorer problems with rendering png images and effects.
Another option is to rebuild the entire site in another program, trying to imitate the look of my current iWeb-created site. The problem is, I don't know if I have to skills to properly create my PayPal online registration section, which is essential. If I do try to redo the entire site, I haven't decided to use Netscape Composer (my old method), SeaMonkey (its successor), or some other application with which I have no experience. If I do recreate the entire site, I'm going to have to be careful to exactly duplicate the individual page names, so that I don't break the links for anyone who has linked to the current pages.

Transfer a suitable value.
If the field is the material group or unit of weight, and the field is not ready for input, check whether the material is locked. If it is locked, you cannot extend the Purchasing view or the Sales view. If either of these views needs to be extended, the material must first be unlocked. This can be done only by a user with special authorization. Contact your system administrator.
