SAP ITS URL not throwing correct HTML code
Gurus,
I am working on publishing warehouse management transaction LM05 on web browser using ITS. On our ECC6.0 system, I created required HTML templates, ITS service and published them. They are working fine and the browser is throwing up HTML pages and code as expected.
Now, on our other system which has Enhancement pack 2, I followed the same procedure, but getting different results. The initial page though is being displayed, is throwing up HTML code which is very different from what is expected. If I navigate to second screen, it is throwing up expected HTML code. Is this is a Enhancement pack issue? If not, what might be the problem and how do I get around this?
Will greatly appreciate help in this issue and points will be awarded too.
Thanks,
Surya.
HI Surya,
Is the issue regarding the look and feel of your custom service?
If you review the view source of each page - what are the differences.
Check the parameters used for both service in SICF and compare.
Regards,
Oisin

Does Expression Web produce correct html code?
I have been using Expression Web since version 1 and never has a problem with any server. On the present server by HostGator that upload to since years, suddenly all non-standard characters turned into squares. This is across the whole website since 2000.
The tech support tells me it is because Expression Web does not convert to html standards. The problem occurred while their tech support work on an upload problem.Yes. Expression Web produces correct code. Expression Web is just a fancy text editor, like Dreamweaver.
What nonstandard characters do you mean--specifically? Are they different fonts? Different languages? Math symbols? You need to be much more specific. And we really need to see that problem to try to help.
Post a link to the page and tell us what exactly is showing up wrong.

I am hoping someone more intelligent than me, can help me out here, as I've got a really infuriating problem.
I tend to visit a lot of online forums, especially in recent days those at Sky (http://helpforum.sky.com/) and Vodafone (http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/)
Whenever I log in, and try and post a message, I keep getting a very annoying error message that says:
"Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied."
The problem is, I never use ANY HTML code, as I don't know what it is. I do use spaces, capital letters, standard punctuation marks, and carriage returns/paragraph breaks. This problem doesn't manifest itself on Internet Explorer, nor Opera, nor Chrome.
So what's going on please?!Please try the steps at [[Websites say that Firefox is outdated or incompatible even though it's the latest version]] before trying anything else, then update Firefox [[Update Firefox to the latest version]]

Start site is not uploaded correctly. html is missing. What can I do?
Hallo,
I am searching for a new web host and created my site with Iweb.
Unfortunately I cannot upload it correctly to the testing site. Pictures and the blog are all right. But the start site with its links is missing.
Apparently it is an Iweb fault. What can I do?
thanks for your help. My testing site is running out tomorrow:The method for uploading files using the iWeb FTP is shown here...
http://www.iwebformusicians.com/iWeb/Publish-Website.html
This uploads the external index.html and a folder containing the rest of the website files which has the same name as the site name in iWeb (the one at the top of the left column in the iWeb window). The URL to any page of your site is...
http://www.domain-name/website-name/page-name.html
Entering domain-name.com into the browser should take you to the Home page.
Uploading files using this method, its not possible for files to be mislaid or corrupted so the problem would appear to be on the server.
The other method of publishing requires that you publish to a local folder and upload the files inside the main folder and this is shown here...
http://www.iwebformusicians.com/iWeb/URLs-Favicons.html
Using this method its possible to miss out some files which would cause the site to not load properly.
Uploading via Ftp is discussed here...

AP Approval Notification - URL not displayed correctly
Hi,
we are working in R12 on the AP Invoice Notification for approval. We are displaying all invoice details and the customer had an URL displayed correctly in the notification in R11. The URL is pointing to an Scan of the actual Invoice.
In R12 we are not able to te get the URL correctly displayed on the notification. Since the URL is pointing to an picture (in TIF format), the notification tries to embed the picture. We would like to display the URL.
Any suggestions how to get this done?
Thx Roel.We found the solution.
We added the string 'LNK:' right before the URL and this worked. -
I'm using a Mac Mini box as a server -- not really OS X Server, but I hope someone on this board can answer my question, so sorry if OT. My university has nicely set up the domain for me, but my sub-directories refuse to work correctly. When going to:
http://royzemi.rikkyo.ac.jp/magazine (no final back-slash)
the server redirects to my sharing set up: http://www.fangorn.local/magazine/
With a backslash, it works ok: http://royzemi.rikkyo.ac.jp/magazine/
A lot of times, webapps such as Wordpress delete the final backslash by default and so many things don't work. Can anyone tell me how I've got my settings wrong on this OR how I can fix it? If it's a DNS problem then I need to get our IT people to look at it, but a simple explanation would allow me to tell them what's needed.
ThanksHi Joe, The Link you are using is incorrect "http://mydomain/sites/mysite/searchcenter/Pages/peopleresults.aspx?k=retail" If your Search Center is in the root please try "http://mydomain/searchcenter/Pages/peopleresults.aspx?k=retail" I hope all of your

LrTasks.execute not getting correct return code
Hi all,
I'm writing an Export Filter Provider that, in the postProcessRenderedPhotos function, calls an external Python script like this:
exitStatus = LrTasks.execute(command)
log:debug("Task returned, exit status is " .. exitStatus)
if exitStatus ~= 0 then
At the end of my Python script, I use
sys.exit(0)
and have verified that running of the script indeed returns 0 by running it in the shell and then checking the return code
echo $?
returns 0
Whenever I run this script from my Export Plugin, I always get an exitStatus of 256. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!I would first assure that in the Lightroom case as well, the script is executing up to the sys.exit statement as well - I suspect it is not (but don't really know...).
I have called python scripts from plugins both successfully and unsuccessfully, although I can't be certain I've checked the actual return code from the sys.exit command.
Consider trying an ultra-short script which writes to a file and exists with a code - make sure you can read the file in your plugin before assessing the return code.
If still a problem, report as bug on Adobe feedback site of course:

Tests the connection to an SAP ITS server
Hi friends,
When iam trying to test the connections in portal the following errors are seen. Please help me to solve the problem if it is in the abap stack or java stack
SAP Web AS Connection
Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Checks the validity of system ID in the system object.
2. Checks if the system can be retrieved from the PCD.
3. Check whether a SAP system is defined in the system object
4. Validate the following parameters: WAS protocol; WAS host name
5. Checks if the host name of the server can be resolved.
6. Pings the server to see if it is alive.
7. Pings the WAS ping service; works only if the service is activated on the ABAP WAS.
8. Checks HTTP/S connectivity to the defined back-end application
Results
1. The system ID is valid
2. The system was retrieved.
3. The system object represents an SAP system
4. The following parameters are valid: Web AS Protocol (http) Web AS Host Name (evoxssqab.comm.nonprod.evo.internal.vodafone.in:8000)
5. The host name evoxssqab.comm.nonprod.evo.internal.vodafone.in was resolved successfully.
6. The server evoxssqab.comm.nonprod.evo.internal.vodafone.in was pinged successfully.
7. The Web AS ping service http://evoxssqab.comm.nonprod.evo.internal.vodafone.in:8000/sap/bc/ping was not pinged successfully. If the ping service is not activated on the Web AS, you can try to call the ping service manually.
8. An HTTP/S connection to http://evoxssqab.comm.nonprod.evo.internal.vodafone.in:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap was not obtained successfully; this might be due to a closed port on the Firewall.

thanksHi Murthy,
From the Result message which you gave, it seems that you are using the incorrect Hostname/Host path.
Try giving portal server name, generally the system name would be the portal server name.
The port which you are using is 8000, try 80 instead.
Please find the below URL for more details about these parameters.

It is possible to insert a html code in iWeb?? help please!!
Hi there, and thanks for helping me!
I have a question. I am new to iWeb, and I am making my first website with Adobe Dreamweaver CS5. I have the HTML, CSS code ready to be uploaded to the web. So I wonder if it is possible to insert my HTML and CSS code in iWeb so I can publish it? I mean, my code in Dreamweaver is ready to be publish, so I want to put the code in iWeb and then publish it with all HTML, CSS and Javascript code. Thanks! You might be able to reuse some of your html in iWeb with the HTML-snippet:
Whenever I need to do something tricky in iWeb I insert a HTML-snippet from the drop down insert menu -> widgets (or the Media Browser Widgets palette), adjust its size and paste the HTML code into the snippet.
You will not be able to recreate a complete page this way, but you might be able to save some preformatted parts of your page, like elaborate tables and groups of pictures. -
How to see html code in a php file using CS5.5 without using testing server?
In CS5.5 when I open a page with php extention, DW does not show any html code in design view without me having to set up a testing server. In DW 8 it would open the same files and show me the html in design view. I have no need to test php code, I just need to alter the html. Is there a setting I can change to enable this in CS5.5? Thanks.
Below is the code. I discovered that if I create a new php document not from
a template, then I can see the html elements in design view. If I create a
new page from a template and save it as html, design view still works, but
if I save a new page from template and save it as php, I only see symbols
for php and nothing else in design view.
Thanks for your help on this.

/* ~~ These are the columns for the layout. ~~
1) Padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the divs. The elements
within these divs have padding on their sides. This saves you from any "box
model math". Keep in mind, if you add any side padding or border to the div
itself, it will be added to the width you define to create the *total*
width. You may also choose to remove the padding on the element in the div
and place a second div within it with no width and the padding necessary for
your design.
2) No margin has been given to the columns since they are all floated. If
you must add margin, avoid placing it on the side you're floating toward
(for example: a right margin on a div set to float right). Many times,
padding can be used instead. For divs where this rule must be broken, you
should add a "display:inline" declaration to the div's rule to tame a bug
where some versions of Internet Explorer double the margin.
3) Since classes can be used multiple times in a document (and an element
can also have multiple classes applied), the columns have been assigned
class names instead of IDs. For example, two sidebar divs could be stacked
if necessary. These can very easily be changed to IDs if that's your
preference, as long as you'll only be using them once per document.
4) If you prefer your nav on the right instead of the left, simply float
these columns the opposite direction (all right instead of all left) and
they'll render in reverse order. There's no need to move the divs around in
the HTML source.

In CS6 I create a simple rectangle and increase the roundness of the rectangle. I then select the shape and choose edit > copy HTML code and I open Dreamweaver CS6 and paste the code into the code window. I thought it was supposed to write code to replicate the shape I created in FW, though instead it is just referencing a graphic of the shape I made in FW that was exported. What did I do wrong?
Thanks.Use the CSS Properties panel, not Edit > Copy HTML Code.
Create the rectangle
Make sure it's selected
Open the CSS propreties panel
Click the Copy All button
Go to Dreamweaver
Create a Div and apply a class to the div
Create a CSS class and within the rule, press Ctrl or Command + V to paste the CSS properties from Fireworks.
Refresh the page (and switch to Live View) and you should see the rectangle, with all the supported visual properties, displayed using CSS.

P.SBonjour
You inserted an image inside the ShopTable_Lampsfiles folder but it's is deleted every time you publish your page
1) Create an new folder named Paypal in your root folder:
FTP: With a FTP software (like Cyberduck) create a new folder in your server root folder
MobileMe: just make an new folder inside the Folder Sites (iDisk > Web > Sites)
Name this Folder "paypal"
2) insert your image "addtocartbutton.png" inside this paypal folder
Get the new URL of your image , something like
http://www.alisonbrent.com/paypal/addtocartbutton.png
3) Paste this URL in your codes, replace
src="http://www.alisonbrent.com/ShopTable_Lampsfiles/addtocartbutton.png"
by
src="http://the/new/URL/of/addtocartbutton.png"
