SAP JVM Default Keystore for Active MQ Integration

Hi all,
does the SAP JVM still have a default keystore file?
I'm asking this question because I would like to integrate with Active MQ JMS SSL. The MQ-Libs are refering to the VMs default keystore in order to find the certificate for the SSL handshake.

Same here, with almost the same things (JDK @ 1.5.0_16) but same WLS version, as well as Eclipse & WTP.
Also have the Bea WLS Tools plugin 1.1.1

Default settings for activating warranty subscreen

I have a requirement to activate the warranty subscreen for maintenance equipment. When this subscreen is activated, the "inherit warranty" and "pass on warranty" options are selected by default for equipment that already exists in the system. I want the equipment that already exists to not have those boxes checked.
Is there a way to configure the warranty subscreen or the equipment master record so that pre-existing pieces of equipment do not receive the "inherit warranty" and "pass on warranty" checks by default when the warranty subscreen is activated?

Thanks for your response. I understand what the flags do. My concern is accidentally passing on or inheriting a warranty incorrectly because the flags were set by default for equipment that was already created before the warranty check was activated. I don't expect it to be a big issue, but I wanted to eliminate that possibility from the beginning if possible.
I am leaving the thread unanswered for a bit to see if there are other responses.

Long time for activation of integration models

Hi Experts,
I am getting error that I am unable to trace the actual reason from system log or the QRFC monitor (APO inbound Q)
Refresh, unlock, reset etc does not change the status. Most LUWu2019s are executed but for some LUWu2019s are taking longer time. Once the error comes in EC panel, even if by selecting Ignore panel, the systems slows down to the greater extent or hangs.
Am unable to paste screenshots here. But basically, the error occurs as: Execute LUW again!
If someone has encounter the same problem & knows the solution, will appreciate the feedback on the problem.

Jay, you might also check your qRFC settings in SMQR/SMQS.
Here you can see the number of dialogue processors available for rfc processing. You can change the number of retries in processiing a queue with the pause between them max runtime etc.
Make sure you don't have a daft setting in such as a very long pause.
For comaprison this is what we have in our test system:

Installing SAP netweaver 7.3 -- JDK VS SAP JVM

We are trying to install NW 7.3 on windows .
-->I came to know that NW 7.3 is 64bit only, running on SAP JVM 6 (JAVA) and Unicode version
--> Note 1495160 - SAP JVM as replacement for Partner JDKs 1.4.2
So , Is that mean before installation I don't require JDK 1.4. X . I and no need to use Switch tool to upgrade to SAP JVM 4 etc
then How could SAP JVM 4/6 comes to the picture ?
How to get SAP JVM4/6 . Is it going to be there in the installation suite itself ?
Please update me ASAP.

Active directory Integration with OBIEE

Can any one send me a link for active directory integration with OBIEE.
I have imported the users succesfully and I was able to login to analytics as an AD user.
But SSO is not possible. Kindly help me over this.

Me too followed the same link and successfully imported all the users from AD into OBIEE and login in is also possible.
But my requirement is to have Single Sign On ie.., users may log on to their Windows PCs and access Oracle BI EE via a standard web browser with no further authentication required on their part.

My windows default locale is chinese .I have thought of your opinion. But in
windows nt , if I change the locale , all the environment will be

About license for SAP JVM

My partner in China is look for alternate JVM to replace Oracle JVM in their solution.
They want to know the following thing about SAP JVM.
1.) Can SAP JAVA be opened to the third partner?
2.) Can the third partner can sell their solution ,which embedded with SAP JVM?
3.) Can SAP provide the relevant documents(include performance , interface and license authorized information)?

Error trying to Change the default encoding for JVM

I tried to change the default encoding for my JVM on a SUN but when i use the java -Dfile.encoding = ISO8859_1 command, i obtain the following error:
Error occurred during initialization of VM
java.lang.Error: java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException:
Is there something wrong with my command or something that i have to take into account in order to try to change this property?
I am using the j2sdk1.4.1_02 and now i have ISO646-US an i need to use ISO8859_1 on a Sun Solaris Box

Setting the default resolution for sap logon

Hi, ALL!
I'm terribly tired of SAP interface. It's so uncomfortable for work.
For example maybe you know khow to set the default resolution for sap logon to make it use its widgets of proper size. e.g. when i work with transfer rules, it has only half of screen for useful area (i use 1400x1050), and right part is just empty, but on the left very many small fields and you should constantly use scrollbars (i think you know it well). Maybe there is system customizing for this purpose.

There is no customizing for this - atleast to my knowledge.
However, you should have to redo the settings again and again unless you are continuously re-sizing the main window.

Instructions for Installing SAP JVM

Hello,
I have downloaded the SAP JVM to use it for Java instances 7.3 as recommended by SAP.
Do i have to do more configuration other than Decompressing the SAP_JVM.SAR file .
Is there a specific path where to decompress it? are there some Variable Environments to modify?

Actually i do not want to use at all the IBM JDK (i will install the SAP on Redhat EL5, X86_64)
Before the installation i will not have the path: /usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE><NR>/j2ee/JSPM/go , shiould i have to craetae it and then decompress the SAP JVM inside? or i put it usually where the IBM JDK is usually installed in /opt
And for starting the /sapinst we need to have the JRE which is including in the SAP JVM.
Thats why i need to have it before having the instance installed.
