SAP KE53 transaction to display the last examination period be default

Hi Gurus,
In the transaction code KE53 we need last examination period is default. it means we have create profit center on 01.01.2008 to 31.12.9999 after that we have changed analysis period 01.01.2009 to 31.12.2009. if we go to  tcode KE53 and display the PC it showing analysis period 01.01.2008 to 31.12.9999 .But the requirement is  default values  should be recent changes it means 01.01.2009 to 31.12.9999. How to overcome this issue.
Appreciate your help.
Kind Regards,
Prakash

Hi Prakash,
In KE53, you can achieve both the display period: Analysis Period as well as Validity Period separately.
Please follow this steps:
Click on Period of Examination button on KE53, on the pop-up screen, it shows "Set Analysis Period" with dates. You enter Valid From 01.01.2009 and Valid to 31.12.2009. Then you click "Confirm". This way it will save your analysis period. Next time when you go to KE53 it will by default display this period. Only when you click on Validity Period, it will display you 01.01.2008 to 31.12.9999.

  • List of transactions executed in the last one year along with the count

    Hi all,
    I want to find the list of transactions executed in the last one year in my IDES system. Also, i want to find how many times these transactions got executed in the last one year.
    I already saw, ST03 and ST03N tcodes. But im not able to see the correct result there.
    Could anyone tell me whether SM21 or ST03N tcode will be useful for finding the total number of transactions get executed in the last one year and the number of times these got executed..
    If anyone of this useful for my exact requirement, then what are all the correct inputs need to be passed to these transaction?
    When i see the MONI table, i find that it gets stored with some cluster key. How the data from this table will be usefiul for my requirement?
    Or, is there any standard reports available for finding this count?
    Thanks,
    Shanthi

    Hi Michael,
    Thanks for ur reply.
    I have few more clarifications in this.
    When i click the "Standard" transaction profile, it shows a list of dialog pgms and the number of steps. But this count is different from the count which i get it from "Early Watch".
    For example, the "Standard" didn't display the SE38 transaction code for a specific week which i selected. Whereas, "Early watch" displays the SE38 transaction.
    So, which count is correct actually?. What do "standard" and "Early watch" represent?
    Also, i executed a Z transaction today(13.03.2009). But im not able to select today (No application server is avaliable to select for today's date). So how can i check what are all the transactions executed today and how many times this Z transaction executed today, from this transaction.
    Please help me...
    Thanks,
    Shanthi

  • How to sort (to display the last comment) a comment in a web template

    Hi,
    I need your help regarding how to display the last comment of a report in a web template, comments managed via the content module com.sap.ip.bi.rig.DocumentContent.
    Summary of the customer need :
    the customer wants to manage comments for a report. The customer does not want to comment each line of a report but  comments in a report as a whole, we want to display the last comment (among all comments) in the web template.
    What I have done so far :
    I have implemented the paper "Maintaining and Printing Comment for Each Line in the Report" ( http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/a046a839-f000-2d10-67af-b53d73894a75), and I have adjusted it to my needs : now I can enter several comments for a report, I can display them via the context menu.
    BW displays only one comment within a web template via Document Content moduleu201D (com.sap.ip.bi.rig.DocumentContent).
    The documents are created under KM, and I can saw them (as administrator) in the KM repository, under the folder /bw_document/InfoProviderData ... OK.
    What I can't get through :
    I want the web template to display the last comment (not the first)  but the web template stills display the first comment. We think it's a sorting issue or a display option (The web template always display the first comment created)
    We tried to maintain portal and KM customizing without success (in the portal System Admin -> System Config -> KM -> CM -> UI -> Settings -> Collection Renderer Setting for example). We think we can get through by java script coding in the web template, but we don't know how to do it. Maybe we have not reach the right option in KM customizing ?
    have you ideas to resolve this issue ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Laurent

    We have found a work around solution, by managing IP functions in the web template... to force BW to sort the items as we want.

  • How to display the last value of a field in a group in the group header

    I need to display the last quiz score from a group of quiz scores as part of the header of a group of units (the quiz score values are in the detail record).  I can not use the group footer, which would be the natural place to find the last value.  It must be in the group header because there will be a subsequent group within the unit group.  In other words, the grouping is as follows:
    Unit Group Header (Display last quiz score in unit)
    SubUnit Group Header (Display other detail summaries)
    Detail Record (including quiz score)
    SubUnit Group Footer
    Unit Group Footer
    While there is a minimum/maximum summary function, there is not a first/last function.

    Who is constantly amazed at the ability of users to request report features that are not easily implented through Crystal Reports...

    Hi Fuskie,
    One suggestion to display the last quiz score in the Group Header, other than what had already been suggested, will be to use a linked subreport in the Group Header. It is not an efficient way to display the information, but it could do the trick.
    Another suggestion will be to insert a subreport in the report header, then store the last quiz score in an array for each group, then share it with the main report and display the  values in the appropriate group. In this way it will only connect twice to the data source, one for the main report and once for the subreport, instead of multiple connection for each group.
    Finally, the most efficient way will be to have this value calculated on the database side using a command object or a stored procedure.

  • The calendar sync is recently not working correctly, not display "All events" but it only displays the last six months for my individual entries. My repeating entires do go back further, though. How do I fix?

    I have an iPad 5.1.1. The calendar sync has started to not work correctly. I have it checked "All events," but it only displays the last two months for my individual entries. My repeating entires do go back further, though. How do I fix?

    HI Jason269. Thanks for your reply, however I wrote that I already have "All events" checked. If All Events is checked and it doesn't diaplay all events, how do I fix? It seems this is a common issue, as I have read many others on here state the same problem.
    I believe my problem occurred when I synced my iMac calendar to my iPad calendar using yahoo. Yesterday, I unsynced them on my iMac controls. When I checked my iPad calendar, all of my old entries reappeared - but only for five seconds and disappeared again. So, the data is saved and still there but cannot be displayed, even when I have All events checked. In fact, it only shows my individual entries for the last two months, but does show all my recurring entries. If I switched to last six months, I will see everything for the last six months. If I switch back to all events, it is only for the last two months.
    As I mentioned, others on here have expressed exactly the same issue, including the two month example and having used yahoo.
    For legal purposes, I need to be able to use the information from my indidual calendar entries in an upcoming court case. So I really need to fix this ASAP!

  • Chrome browser always comes up displaying the last web page I looked at.

    Just got a Samsung Galaxy S5. Tried out the Chrome browser, and then when I went back to it later it displayed the last website I was on. How can I make it come up with a blank screen (just an empty search box displaying). Thanks.

    Make sure that you either
    1: back out of chrome (not just hit the home button)
    2: close the chrome app in the task manager.
    That way your "home" page will open every time you open chrome, not just the last page you visited.

  • Display the last item in Content Query web part

    Edited my post
    I was trying to create a CQWP that will display 5 blog posts in the following format:
    Name of the blog                | Previous blog posts:    |
     Post 5                               |  Post 4
    |
     Description                        |  Post 3
    |
                                             |  Post
    2                      |
                                             |  Post
    1                      |
    --------------------------------------------------------- |
    This was my first time using CQWP and XSLT. So the guys in this forum helped me with the code that finds the last item and splits it from the rest of the posts.
    But when I try to create a format like the table above, is not possible, because <xsl:Template keeps repeating the layout. It seems that CQWP is not made for fanncy layouts. I think it functions in a top-to-bottom fashion.
    If anyone knows how to create the format above, I will be very greatful.
    First post in this threat:
    Can anyone tell me how can I display the last item added using CQWP and XSLT?
    The code below displays all titles. I don't know how can I get the last item. The xslt template below works like a repeater control.
    Any help will be very much appreciated.
         <xsl:template name="abc" match="Row[@Style='abc']" mode="itemstyle">
             <xsl:value-of select="@title"/>
         </xsl:template>
    thank you.

    Try this (you'll need to modify the widths according to your requirements, and sort you're list so that most recent items is returned first)
    <xsl:template name="TestCount" match="Row[@Style='TestCount']" mode="itemstyle">
    <xsl:variable name="DisplayTitle">
    <xsl:call-template name="OuterTemplate.GetTitle">
    <xsl:with-param name="Title" select="@Title"/>
    <xsl:with-param name="UrlColumnName" select="'LinkUrl'"/>
    </xsl:call-template>
    </xsl:variable>
    <xsl:variable name="ItemNumber">
    <xsl:number></xsl:number>
    </xsl:variable>
    <xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="$ItemNumber = '1'">
    <div style="float:left;width:100px;margin:5px;display:block;">First Item: <xsl:value-of select="$ItemNumber"/> (<xsl:value-of select="$DisplayTitle"/>)</div>
    </xsl:when>
    <xsl:when test="$ItemNumber = '2'">
    <div style="float:left;width:100px;margin:5px;display:block;">Last Item: <xsl:value-of select="$ItemNumber"/> (<xsl:value-of select="$DisplayTitle"/>)</div>
    </xsl:when>
    <xsl:when test="$ItemNumber = $ItemCount">
    <div style="clear:both;float:left;width:100px;margin:5px;left:105px;display:block;">Last Item: <xsl:value-of select="$ItemNumber"/> (<xsl:value-of select="$DisplayTitle"/>)</div>
    </xsl:when>
    <xsl:otherwise>
    <div style="clear:both;float:left;width:100px;margin:5px;left:105px;display:block;">Item Number: <xsl:value-of select="$ItemNumber"/> (<xsl:value-of select="$DisplayTitle"/>)</div>
    </xsl:otherwise>
    </xsl:choose>
    </xsl:template>

  • How to pay new joinees who were missed out in the last pay period run

    Hi,
    There are cases where a new joinee is missed out in a payroll run and needs to be paid the prorated salary for the joined month along with the net pay in the next month.
    Please advise how such cases can be handled.
    We can check for employees who have not been processed in payroll run and pay them starting the join date. There was a case where an employee was moved to the payroll from another payroll, he was paid starting the date of join, and hence got paid more.
    If we restrict the period for checking the new hires to the date after the last pay periods run date till the end of the month, we still miss out on other employees who were not added in time for the payroll run because of late notification.
    Thanks a lot in advance for your help and guidance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Supriya

    Hi Guys
    I noticed none have you have mentioned aything in relation to the use of quickpays,Payroll runs and extended start dates with Prepayments? This is a common issue, especially within large companies where the turnover of staff is quite high. I have seen this happen a lot on many govenrment projects I have worked with and the solution I reccomend, which is not customised and supported by Oracle is quite straight forward and simple.
    First off when you hire the employee you have obvioulsy missed the boat so to speak in relation to that Payroll Period that they joined, No worries there. Just run a quickpay if you use them as legitamate Payroll runs (Some Organisations do not) or either create an assignment set and run the payroll for that employee only for the period they missed out.
    Next up will be your second pay period payroll run or shall we say the current pay period. As the New Hire employee is now setup on your required Payroll they will obviously be picked up in that run.
    Next all you do is run Pre-payments with an effective Start date of the first day of the previous pay period they missed. Check the SOE attached to the Employee's Pre-payment run for period 2 and hey presto......Your arrears have been calculated.
    Retro will not pick up an late starters thus this solution is the next best thing. Prepayments will pick up any payroll runs which have not already been picked up by a previous Pre-payment run within the date range you specify.
    No More Customisations needed!!

    I need to create a variable on the object 0CALMONTH that needs to display the current Month/Year by default when the query is run.
    Can anyone please help with the ABAP code that is required for the creation of this Customer Exit Variable?
    Thanks

          month = l_s_range.
          concatenate year month INTO date separated BY '/' .
          Append  date to e_t_range .
      ENDCASE.

    And also I need to do the same changes in reporting agent.
    Could you please any one help me.

    Best regards,
    Ajay.

    Hi Ajay,
    Create a customer exit variable.Write the code in the include 'zxrsru01' using system date.
    take the system date from the system date variable and using that you can get the current fiscal year period.use this value and using string commands, you can get period.
    subtract 1 from this value.Using this you can get the previous fiscal period..
    Please let us know, if you need the coding part
    Hope it helps

  • How can I display the last items of a region from other Oracle Portal page?

    I want to display de last five items (f.e.) included in a region (with attributes created) from other page. I've tried using custom search, but it also shows the attribute names, and I want show the attribute values (I don´t know how can I format these attributes).
    Thanks a lot.

    create a stored procedure (f.e. in schema myschema create a stored proc named renderAsHTML)
    code for the procedure :
    PROCEDURE renderAsHTML(p_itemId varchar2,p_pageId varchar2,p_siteId varchar2) IS
        l_displayName  portal.wwsbr_all_items.display_name%type;
        l_name         portal.wwsbr_all_items.name%type;
        l_publishDate  varchar2(10);
        l_url varchar2(250);
    BEGIN
         -- Looking for item datas
         select display_name, name,   to_char(publish_date,'dd/mm/yyyy')
         into l_displayName,l_name, l_publishDate
         from portal.wwsbr_all_items
         where id =p_itemId and language=portal.wwctx_api.get_nls_language;
         -- getting the URL og the item
         l_url := portal.wwpob_page_util.get_page_url(p_pageId, p_siteId);
         -- HTML rendering
    htp.p('<.a href="'||l_url ||'/'|| l_name ||'">' ||  l_displayName ||'</.a><.br/>');
    htp.p('Published on ' || l_publishDate ');
    EXCEPTION
        WHEN others THEN
               htp.p('<.div>Somme error occured , code is ' || SQLCODE || '.</.div>');
    END renderAsHTML;
    please notice that I've added a dot in HTML tags to avoid this forum to interpret them
    note : make sure that you granted "execute" for the public user on teh procedure you've just created.
    go to item properties (navigator>shared objects>item types>modify the one you want
    go to tab3 (procedures)
    set the following options :
    type : PL/SQL
    call proc : myschema.renderAsHTML
    link text : render as HTML
    icon : keep blank
    select the "display proc results with the item" option
    pass the following parameters :
    attribute1 : item ID as p_itemId
    attribute1 : page ID as p_pageId
    attribute1 : pagegroup as p_siteId
    Now, in your custom search portlet, go to results rendering, remove all attributes and add the "associated function" attribute.
    Now, all the HTML generated by the stored proc will be rendered instead of the item.

  • SAP IQ 16 Hang in the last phase of insert from ASE 15.7 using RLV

    Problem description:
    When I try to load 73K rows from ASE 15.7 to IQ 16.0 SP3 the IQ server ‘hang’ at the last phase of the insert (merge RLV store to main IQ dbspace).
    Hang: The server stops responding; stop writing to iqmsg; and, I’m unable to stop the server using stop_iq; the only way to stop the server is to kill the process (on Unix).
    Any suggestion on how to solve this issue will be appreciated.
    My configuration
    Adaptive Server Enterprise/15.7/EBF 21339 SMP SP101 /P/X64/Windows Server/ase157sp101/3439/64-bit/OPT/Thu Jun 06 12:11:05 2013

    How to reproduce the problem:
    In ASE 15.7
    Create and populate the following table:
    CREATE TABLE dbo.MyTable  (
            Program                 varchar(3) NULL,
            EncNum                  varchar(12) NULL,

            DelayReason             int NULL,
            ExcludeFlag             varchar(1) NULL
    LOCK ALLPAGES
    GO
    I’d around 73,000 rows, you can populate the table with random data.
    EndNum are of format ‘999999999999’
    MRN number are of format ‘99999999’
    On SAP IQ 16.0 SP3

    Hi Chris,
    Thanks a lot for your help.
    As per your suggestion, I increased the –iqrlvmem to 4096
    And also,  set option public.RV_Auto_Merge_Eval_Interval = 1
    But, still have the same behavior.
    Here you can see the state of the IQ server just a few seconds before it hang.

  • SCOM2012 Web Transaction Monitor - Displaying the Request Status

    I have successfully created a 'Web Application Transaction Monitor' using the SCOM 2012 R2 Console wizard.  The monitor goes through several listed website URLs and completes.
    What I'm interested in is how to display the 'Request' status objects.  I use the MS-Visio plug-in to display various dashboards within Sharepoint and I would like to display the part of the Web Transaction which is showing an error.
    I can see the individual requests under the Availability of the created 'Web Application Transaction Monitor'.  I just need to capture those objects for displaying within a view or MS-Visio diagrams.
    The email notifications show which of the URLs are having the issue, but I do not seem to find a view or object I can display.
    Any ideas on what could be done would be appreciated.  I was hoping NOT to create individual Web Txn Monitors for each URL, but that maybe the only solution.

    When I create a Dashboard View and add the Alert Widget, I can get the URL from Name Column.

  • Displaying the Last Query Refresh date/time

    Hello,
    on a Webi report, is there a way to display the date/time that the underlying info provider was refreshed?
    Thanks,
    Nikhi

    1.- Create Formula in Query (columns - Create Formula)
    2.- Create Formula Variable for this Formula (Type Customer EXIT) as individual and optional.
    3.- Define the code for customer exits for variables.
