SAP LOGO change in SNC WebUI

Hi Folks,
Can we update SNC Web UI with my Client Logo, what configs/settings needed?

If you are using SNC versions upto 7.0, please follow the below procedure
Transaction SE80 -> Enter package "/SCF/UIBSP"
Expand the package
Expand folder "BSP Library"
Expand folder "BSP Applications"
Expand folder "/scf/uibsp"
Expand folder "MIMEs"
Expand folder "sap-tradeshow"
Expand folder "PRTL"
Expand folder "IMAGES"
Expand folder "HEADER"
Right-click on customer_brand_image.jpg or
Customer_logo.gif and use context menu to
Create backup of original graphic files (optional)
Context menue: "Export/Import" -> "Export as Copy"
Save copy in file system
Delete original graphic files
Context menue: "Delete"
Ignore warning message
Import new graphic files
Right-click on folder where images were located
Choose "Import MIME Objects"
Select new customer_brand_image.jpg or
customer_logo.gif in file system
Save
Remember It is not recommended to use images with larger file size than the original files as this will increase network traffic.
customer_brand_image.jpg 841 x 30 Pixels
customer_logo.gif 59 x 30 Pixels
Since this is custom developement, SAP will not support for any maintenance

Hi,
The URL to set logo should work when you edit it in the correct theme. Usually cache issues prevent us from seeing the desired result. By Clearing cache your issue should get resolved. Otherwise if need be you can edit the com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead par file and define the manner in which you want your logo to be displayed in the masthead. Download the par file and open it in NWDS. Search for "logo" keyword you will find it. Edit the current image and upload the PAR file again.

I need to know, while executing the screen from NWDS we see a SAP standard logo on top left of mobile screen,
Is this possible to replace the logo with custom logo?

Postion change of SAP logo image in masthead

You can follow thease steps too,
To hide personalize link in the masthead you can customize the masthead par file. Steps are below:-
1. Download Masthead.par from Portal under System Admin -> Support (as per above steps)
2. Upload the Par into NWDS and add all required jars in Java Build path and Lib fiolder
3. Navigate to the JSP file and seach for the text personalize and make your logic to show/display links. You can show/hide differebt link for different users based on logged in Uselogiin id. You can use UME API for this.
4. Rebuild and deploy into portal. Its better to copy the standard and modify deploy as a custom one istead of directly modify the standar PAR.

Masthead logo changes thru PAR file(com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par)

Hi all
now i am customizing the Masthead par file by downloading the relevant par file from the server. after i intergrated the code into NWDS then i started to change the code in the headerIview.jsp in masthead.
now i removed the design bar as well as standard SAP logo(right end) sucessfully.
now i want to place our client in the place of design bar in the masthead.if i want to do the same where will i copy our client logo i mean in which folder in the workspace??
and also let me know where can i change the background color of welcome area and functional areas in the masthead into white color.
if u send with sample code then it is useful.
always i will reward max points.
note: i am following the masthead customization thru par file not from theme .
dont answers to change the logo from theme in portal. i want to change thru par file.

Hi Adhi,
You can do it using following steps:
Step 1: Open the BSP application THTMLB_STYLES in the ABAP workbench SE80.
Open the folders MIMES->sap_skins->styling->Ishape in the same order.
Step 2: You will find an image 'logo.png' in the folder Ishape.
Open the context menu (using right-click mouse button) and select 'Update and Replace'. Select your company GIF or JPG image file from your local folder in your PC.

Change 'SAP logo' & 'Welcome Username' position

Hi everyone!
I would like to interchange the position of the 'SAP logo' located at the right of the Masthead iView with the 'Welcome username' text located on the opposite left end of the masthead.
I've done a search and it doesn't seem like there is a setting to interchange both using Theme Editor.
Any ideas on how to get started with this change?

Hi,
You cannot change it using Theme Editor. You have to download the masthead par file(com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par) and make the necessary changes in it.

SAP logo r/3

I want to change to SAP logo ( waterlogo in the right side of the menu ) in SAP r/3.
Ik know you can change this in your company logo or any other logo/picture ( .gif ).
Does anyone know how to do this?

Welcome to SDN.
1) Changing the splash screen on the main menu.
First, in transaction SMW0 (SAP Web Repository), select "Binary data for WebRFC applications. The logo must be in a .gif format. From this transaction, create a new object, then choose to IMPORT. You must then specify the path to the .gif object you have saved, and select the option to TRANSFER.
Then, maintain table SSM_CUST via SM30. Change the field START_IMAGE to the name of the object you created in SMW0.
2) Changing the rippling water on the top right . The file name is 'sapalogo.bmp' and resided in the directory "SAPpcsapguithemesdefault". Looking at this file you can see how it works. Use an editor like Paint and replace each of the SAP ripple images with a morphing image of your own. Make sure the new image is the same size as the original. There are 33 images in the original but you don't need that many. One idea for a morphing image would be to take your company logo and have it build its way across the screen and then off again.
3) Changing the startup movie is even easier. Replace the file 'sapss.avi' with a short avi of your own. This file resides in the same directory as 'sapalogo.bmp'.

Logo change in web UI 2007

Hello All,
I did a logo change to the default skin of WEB UI 2007.
the steps i followed
1. goto se 80 and bsp application --> THTMLB_STYLES --> MIMEs --> sap_skins --> default -->
styling --> lshape --> select logo.png right click and upload/downlaod --> upload and
replace with the company logo.png
above are the steps which i followed to change but still it shows standard SAP logos.
am I missing any config any suggestions?.

Hello All,
I changed the logo.png and mountains.gif for a new skin(which is copied from default skin). the logo change are displayed with half logo only.
another issue is the message broadcast area in down is shown with white colour background and also date is shown in middle.
also the alert information box and communication box are show as one.
do i need to change any other customizing to render them properly.

Logo change in NWBC 4.0

Hi guys
I am running NWBC 4.0 and wish to change the SAP logo to our logo.
I have managed this by making an entry in table NWBC_CFG using BRANDING_IMAGE and entering a url to an image on our intranet.
However we don't want to point at a URL and would like instead to load a GIF image into the SAP system.
When I do this to change the splash screen in the GUI I load the image via SMW0 / Binary data and then create an entry in SSM_CUST.
So I imagine it is similar for the NWBC logo.
I have loaded the image but now am struggling with the path to use in the value field of NWBC_CFG table.
Can anyone help me in this regard ???

OK, so this is the solution...
1. Go to transaction SE80.
2. Select MIME Repository
3. Navigate to SAP>PUBLIC>BC>ICONS
4. Right click on the folder ICONS
5. Choose Import MIME Objects
6. Find your file and give it a description and load it up
7. Now go to transaction SE16 and enter table NWBC_CFG
8. If this is your first entry into this table use Table>Create Entries from the front screen
9. Enter BRANDING_IMAGE in the Name Field
10. Enter /sap/public/bc/icons/yourfilename.jpg (or gif) in the VALUE field
Result is the logo appears instead of the SAP logo

Replace SAP logo in status line in the new Signature Design (SAPgui 7.10)

Hello,
with SAPgui 7.10 there is a new desing available, the Signature Design. Recently a customer asked me, if it is possible to replace the small SAP logo in the middle of the status line (at the bottom of the SAP window) with another image.
I don't know this, has anyone an answer for me?

I doubt so (although I don´t know 100 %).
The bottom SAP image has the same functionality as before in the right upper corner (you can doubleclick it to send support messages to SolMan system). You couldn´t change the right upper corner image.

Hi Pooja,
If you unable to change branding image thro Themes then try in this way..
steps for importing the existing masthead:
1. Administration -> Support -> Support Desk -> Portal Runtime -> Browse deployment
2. navigate to ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/temp
3. download com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par.bak
4. import to developer studio (File -> import -> par)
5. Open the HeaderiView.jsp file from PORTAL-INFjsp there you can find the code, here give the image name what you want to place
<TD nowrap><img src="<%= componentRequest.getWebResourcePath() +"/images/image.gif" %>" border="0"></td>
6. Finally repack as Par and deploy in portal

I have done the same req previously. This form is used to see in portal as payslip. Now just copy this form to Zform. Add a window for logo and select logo of ur choice. Another important step which ur functional consultant need to do is to add ur Zform to country grouping in config. For ex if u r doing it for india. Add the zform name to country grouping 40 in config.

It is not clear what your question is regarding. Are you using the ITS Mobile service or the Webgui? In the Webgui I would suggest that you do not try to remove the SAP logo, though depending on the version the logo should no longer exist. In the ITS Mobile the logo is very small already and the buttons are already in the upper right corner. Please clarify what service you are using or if you are doing a custom development and what you currently see and what you would like to change. Thank you.

You shld be able to copy and paste your logo (after deleting the SAP logo). ..as you would do in regular excel. If sometimes it doesn't work...use the insert picture functionality......regular excel/MS way.
