SAP_Mailbox_Query

Hi.
Can we send a link to any user in SAP in his mail box.
I know a FM-->SO_OBJECT_SEND to send mails to a mailbox of any SAP-user , but I dont think so that we can use this FM to send a link to any user.
Is there any other FM or BAPI which could solve our purpose.
