SAP ME5.2 SDK deployment issue

Hi,
We installed the SAP ME5.2 SDK, and we also tried to develop our new functionality into the SDK, and build this new functionality with Development tool, and generated the SAPME.sca, then we tried to deploy this SAPME.sca into NetWeaver with JSPM, there is no error displayed during deploying. But after deployed, we opened the SAP ME and it returned the error message, I used the manufacturing-admin tool to generate the defaultTrace, it showed the error message like bellow:
java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name SAPMELicense, locale en_US
I am not whant the issue is and what step I missed, it looks the development tool also involve the SAPMELlicense to generate the new SAPME.sca, can anyone have the experience?
Thanks a lot and best regards,
Leon Lu

Hi Leon,
In the SDK installation guide there is a section 3.2.2 Configure the Java AS Instance that describes how to install SAP ME License on the SDK NW Server. Please follow the steps and the problem should be fixed.
Good luck
Ivan

    Dear David,
this is not SAP support, this is a user forum. If you want to issue a support ticket you should go to the SAP service marketplace and issue an OSS message. This can be done at http://service.sap.com/message .
You need an S-User to access this site.

    Hello Silvia,
the relation to MaxDB would be exaclty what for this issue?
There's not even a database related error message in what you've posted...
Maybe a different forum would be better suited for this question!

SAP Netweaver 04 SP16 deployed with Xalan 2.60 or Xalan 2.70
Have you tried to port and run (Sneak Preview)  SAPNetWeaver java 04 SP16 or 04S SP7 with a later version on Xalan version 2.60 or Xalan version 2.70 along with jdk 1.4.2_(8 or greater)?
What specifically is failing? What patches or work around have you used to overcome compatibility issues with Xalan?
When we run Sneak Preview SAPNetWeaver java 04 SP16 SP7 with a version on Xalan version 2.60 or Xalan version 2.70 along with jdk 1.4.2_11, We get error 503 Service Unavailable, Application cannot be started
Details: com.sap.engine.services.deploy.container.ExceptionInfo: Error while parsing file “data-source-aliases.xml”.

    Hi
SAP does not allow usage of any other XML parsers with SAP web AS.
please have a look at this link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/36/ef353e39011a38e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
"Setting system properties in a system that supports more than one parser is prohibited".
The Error which you are getting is because one of the
    java.system properties for parsing is
getting changed by xalan. These system properties are explictly set by the SAP XML implementation which it does not allow you to change.
Also can you please let me know where are you placing the xalan jar file ? is it deployed as a j2ee library or part of war ?
Hope this helps. please mark points for helpful answers

  • Problem trying to download SAP Mobile Platform SDK - Developer Edition

    Dear All,
when i try to go on:

The system is returning to me:
    Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /sap/cp/ui/resources/store/html/SolutionDetails.html on this server.
    What I have to do?
    Thanks

This download link is related to SAP Store and I guess there is some issue with SAP Store now. (store.sap.com) .
Anyways the link might provide access to only SDK of SMP 3.0 , but to develop mobile applications on SMP both the Runtime and SDK are to be installed and only SDK is available to public.
If you have a valid S-User credentials you can download SMP from SAP Service Marketplace - Home
    Softwares Donloads -->  A-Z Index --> M -->SAP mobile Platform -- ? choose the version you are looking at (2.1 / 2.2 /2.3 )
SMP 3.0 is still in Rampup only available to limited registered partners
Which version of SMP you are looking to download?

    String sqlStatement = "SELECT * FROM " + "BICQPERSON where type='pk'"; ResultSet rs = IBIDataSet dataset = query.execute();
    Thanks SreeKanth

    Hi,
looks like you are on Infomation Builders, correct? If yes through which adapter and to what DB are you connecting?? in an R3/BW system you can do the folowing:
    "(ABAP)
    SELECT DISTINCT FIELDNAME
    FROM DD03L
    WHERE TABNAME = '/BIC/QPERSON'
      AND AS4LOCAL = 'A'
      AND KEYFLAG = 'X'
    ORDER BY 1
Another option is goto directly to the RDBMS; in this case let me which one are you using
    hope this helps...
    Olivier.

Kindly help me in this regard

    Solution:
Workaround the issue immediately by removing the "ns1:" qualification on the operation for the binding.jca entry in the composite.xml and redeploying.
    For example:
    From:
    <binding.jca config="BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL_invoke_3P.jca"
    operation="ns1:BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL"/>
    To:
    <binding.jca config="BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL_invoke_3P.jca"
    operation="BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL"/>

I've found an interesting, Note 956443 - In NW04s deploy of Java WS with security fails, but here they speak about SP6 and we're already at 10, moving to 12... so I'm not sure.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
    Franco.

    Deal all,
    thanks for all the suggestion.
Even though we tried all the advices we received the solution came from Note 941595 - Download J2SE 1.4.2 for the x64 : we switched to JDK version 1.4.2_15 and sap.com/CAF was deployed just smoothly as all the other SPs.
    Again thank you !
    Franco.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro deployment issue

Hello. I am having a deployment issue with Adobe Acrobat 9 using Altiris. I create the rip which is bassically an image of the install. My facility has pruchased 50 seats for this software so I know we are covered for the users that we have to use this software. The issue that I am having after I make the rip, and deploy it to a machine it asks for the CD key again in order to use. Am I having an issue with my installation or is Adobe put some kind of security into their software so that when you try to make a rip of the installation is asks for teh CD Key again after the install? Is this an issue that can be resolved?

    SOLUTION:
The issue was somehow related to DPI (START > Settings > Control Pannel > Display > Settings Tab > Advanced button). Eventhough the DPI was set to normal, I switched it to LARGE, restarted the machine, logged in after the reboot, changed it back to normal size, restarted again, logged in once more, checked the Printer Preferences and PRESTO --- a properly displayed window.

  • Deploy issue from JDeveloper 10.1.3.5 to OAS 10.1.2

I have written an application using ADF on JDeveloper 10.1.3.5 and need to deploy it to our OAS 10.1.2. I have run the adfinstaller on the linux server to upgrade the ADF libraries to the correct versions, updated the web.xml files to have the correct versions, changed to J2SE 1.4.2_19 for the application and have still got deployment issues.
    Error
An error occurred while redeploying application "FormsSiebelIntegration". See base exception for details.
    Resolution:
    See base exception for details.
    Base Exception:
    java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError
    com/sun/faces/application/ApplicationAssociate (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0). com/sun/faces/application/ApplicationAssociate (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)
Removing the jsf-impl.jar file allows the application to deploy, but when running on the app server I get the following errors:
    OracleJSP: oracle.jsp.parse.JspParseException:
    /codename.jspx: Line # 6, <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.0" xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces" xmlns:afh="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/html">
Help! I'm starting to have total mind block as to what to do next.
Error: Unable to load taghandler class: http://java.sun.com/jsf/html

I had already applied all of this before trying to deploy.
The error seems to be a versioning error in the jsf-impl.jar file as the ApplicationAssociate class is found there. I have changed the JDK and J2EE to 1.4.2 and 1.3 respectively, rebuilt everything, updated all the settings to the right versions for 10.1.2 but it still keeps failing on the deploy.

    Hello Amol,
Did you have changed the default password of SDM which you had supplied during installation if yes then reset the password to the original one also check the sap  Note 701654.
This  problem is caused by having different pwds in the active user store "Secure File Store"
    Hope it helps.........

    Jafer
