In sap menu accounting is missing -other modules like logistics and human resources can
be seen-
till yesterday we are able to post accounting entries through sap menu-accounting-
from today onwards I am not able see

maybe somebody has modified the s000 - menu?
if you have other systems where the sap menu is still ok, you can quickly transport the menu from there (SE43). But maybe only the area menu, where that node is contained has been changed, then you need to transport that area menu only.

you are my last chance!
I'm going to update the SAP GUI in all our PCs (about 1500) from rel 6.20 to 7.10 Patch 4. Our PCs are WinXP SP2. This is a requirement due to a system upgrade from 4.6c to ECC6.
I made some tests and I'm facing this problem:
in some cases, after the update, I run the GUI, log a userID and the SAP menu is disappeared! (as SAP Menu I mean the tree where you can see also your favorites)
All the other bars are OK but the SAP menu is missed...
I tried logging in with many userIDs but the result is the same.
I'll update the GUI using Tivoli Software Distribution but I'm scared about this problem.
Has anyone faced a same issue?

thanks for your information... I checked the file wdttree.ocx and the release is correct (7100.1.4.286). I also checked the file wdtrmenu.ocx and it resulted ok (rel. 7100.1.4.6). I tried to register the files but all was useless...
On the same PC, if I login into Windows with the local admin account (used for the GUI upgrade), I can see the SAP Menu, if I login into Windows with another admin account, the SAP menu disappears.
What do you mean when you talk about opening an "official" ticket? Can I open a ticket directly on the SAP's main web site?

Adding Z-Tran in SAP Menu

How can I add a Z-Transaction in SAP Easy Access, SAP Menu -> Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> General Ledger ->Document Entry. I want to enter my Z-Transaction here. How can I do this? I am trying with se43 (S000 & S000_RW). But I cont can any one explain me clearly.

Use trx SE43N (not SE43):
Insert menu S000 and press button for updating, now the system'll ask you if you want to link your modification to enhancement or not:
it's better to assign an enhancement: create an enhancement, assign it to your modification, go to point where you want to insert your trx and insert it.

I tried making one menu, i don't believe in giving step by step solution, so just have a look ate the following documentation for how to create an Area menu in SE43 and further steps to achieve your goals.

Missing SAP Menu in Crystal Reports

Hi Experts,
I've re-installed Crystal Reports 2008 V1, but I'm now missing the SAP menu which I had before.
I've got the SAP Gui (with BW add-ons) and the integration kit is also installed since my previous installation of CR 2008 had the SAP Menu.
I've got a feeling it's something to do with the integration kit for SAP. I've tried to re-install this too, but as soon as I click setup.exe I get an error message saying "BusinessObjects Integration Kit XI 3.1 for SAP Solution Setup has failed". I also cannot remove the currently installed inetgration kit either.
Please help as I need to report off SAP BW data!

Hello,
If you had both CR and integration kit installed; than proper way would be to remove the kit first; remove CR and reinstall CR and SAP integration kit again. It sounds like now you have a mismatch of files and possible some remnants of previous installs that is messing up any new attempts to install.
If this is simply a client machine; i recommend to manually remove all Business objects folders in windows explorer as well as in the registry. (just be very careful you do ONLY remove the bobj stuff).
Do these manual steps ONLY if regular uninstall of both CR and SAP integration kit do not work.
Note that under normal circumstances to just reinstall the SAP toolbar; you should be able to run a custom install of the SAP integration kit and select only to reinstall the SAP add-on bar.

SAP Menu Travel Management is missing

In our production server, the default sap men "Travel Management" is missing for all the users.
i went to PFCG in Logon Tab, in SAP Menu, i tried to add the Travel management menu but it is not showing there also.
I maintained ssm_users thru sm30, "All SAP User Menu off" is set to No. but nothing works.
I just want the travel management to be under sap menu for all users.
I know that i can set that as a favourite but i dont want that as a favourite.
Please help me resolving this issue..

Is SAP menu visible to all users? if so travel management can be found under below path.
Information systems --> Human resources --> Reports --> Travel management
If the SAP menu option is not visible, please click on the button appearing in the tool bar.

SAP Standard Menu Text missing while Creating Role in PFCG

All:
I am having a weird issue to where the "SAP Standard Menu Text" is missing when creating a role in PFCG and using the "Copy Menu > From SAP Menu" function.
When I click the button I get the following:
1) Popup of the SAP standard menu tree
2) The area for the folders where there should be text is missing
- appears as the " [ ] " symbols
3) "[ ]" symbols appears through entire menu tree for folders and transactions.
Any ideas?

EH&S: EA-PLm activation. EH&S missing under SAP menu

Hi all,
The EA-PLM extension (in a development environment)was activated (not by me) but EH&S folder is missing under logistics in the SAP menu.
I had also made this activation (by me) before in a sandbox environment and I was able to see EH&S in SAP menu without problem.
In Tcode SCPR20PR, I've checked EA-PLM-IMG, EA-PLM-MENU and EA-PLM-AKH and the logs show all green statuts.
So, do you have any idea to explain why I am not able to see EH&S in the SAP menu and to resolve this problem?

SAP Menu Missing

When I login to solman system, I am not able to see the standard SAP Menu structure. It is happening for all the users in solman. In other systems, it is showing the SAP menu correctly. Is there any setting do I need to change and where the SAP Menu structures are saved. Could you please reply.

GL Account missing error

Hi All,
I am having a problem adding Purchase Orders (service). I get an error that says ' No matching records found, G/L Accounts (OACT).'
SBO 2005 A SP01 PL10
There is only one line on the PO and the accounts selected does have previous postings to it and is not confidential. I get this error even when logged in as a superuser.

This error message usually occurs when there is one or more accounts missing in Administration -> Setup -> Financials -> G/L Account Determination
Please make sure that all accounts are specified in the Sales, Purchase Inventory and general tabs
Also, in the Item Master Data->Inventory Data Tab->Set G/L Accounts by:
+ If by Item Group : Check that all the Accounts are defined under
Administration -> Setup -> Inventory -> Item Group -> Accounting tab
+ If by warehouse : Check that all the accounts are defined under
Administration -> Setup -> Inventory -> Warehouses -> Accounting tab
+ If by Item Check under Item Master Data > Inventory Data tab

Error while adding Marketing doc.
While adding a Marketing Documant with an item (purchase item, sales
item and wh item is checked) the following error message occurs:
G/L Account(1) not defined.

Check for a missing account in the item definition, in the supplier
definition or in the GL Account determination.
The issue occurs because there were no accounts defined when trying to
add a marketing document. The document is added as a draft document,
accounts were then set up and then the draft document was finally
attempted to be added but the draft was not connected to the stock
account. It is recommended to first define accounts, to delete the
original draft document and create a new marketing document draft.

I am trying to creat credit memo request with ref to credit contract invoice but receiving a Document Incomplete message(GL account missing). Iu2019ve clicked on the Edit button and gone back and reviewed everything but I still canu2019t complete the process as I still keep getting the Document Incomplete message. Can you please advise me.

Note: In T. Code: VA02, key-in your Sales Doc (in your case, Credit Memo Request) and go in to Sales Doc.
From Menu-bar, Click:
Edit --> Incompletion Log.
This will lead to eror page, listing Error: G/L missing.
Select line and click Tab: Complete Data
This will lead you to another Screen: Analysis Account Determination
Now, at left-side of the screen, you can see Columns: Procedure and Description.
There, you will find
KOFI --> PR00 (open drop-down option for PR00) --> 10 (KOFI) Cust.Grp/Material Grp/Acct.Key
Double Click on it.
IMP1: Instead of KOFI, it could be KOFK also; and instead of "Cust.Grp/Material Grp/Acct.Key", it could be "Cust.Grp/Account Key" or "Material Grp/Acct Key". Just note-down the entries, it will help you to assign G/L in T. Code: VKOA
Now, at right-hand side of the Screen (i.e. Overview), You will find Access details 10 (KOFI)
Now, there are two options:
1. either System will determine the G/L, or
2. still, G/L a/c missing
In second case, down there on the same screen, notice the following:
Field in condition table--Field in document---Value in doc.
IMP2: Note-down the entries, under Column: Value in doc. as this will help you to maintain settings in T. Code: VKOA
Now, go to - T. Code: VKOA
Click on Table: 1 - Cust.Grp/Material Grp/Acct.Key (or as found in step IMP1)
On to next screen, click Tab: New Entries
now, maintain entries in to Fields:
App: V
CndTy.: KOFI (or as found in step IMP2)
ChAc: INT (or as found in step IMP2)
SOrg: 1234 (or as found in step IMP2)
AAG: 01 (or as found in step IMP2)
AAG: 05 (or as found in step IMP2)
ActKy: ERL (or as found in step IMP2)
G/L Account: You will get it from Accounts dept.
Provision acc.: I don't think its reqd. as its being used for, say Rev. recog.
Save the entry. Now, check the Sales Doc. in VA02 (as explained in the statring of Note).
