This is my first post here so pardon me if this is not the right forum for such questions. I have been working on SAP SD as a support analyst for the past one year and wish to appear for SAP SD certification. I have TSCM60 both 1&2 and TSCM62 both 1&2 but for version 4.6. Is it okay to appear for this exam with 4.6 material or there have been many changes in the newer versions. Also is there any other material that I need to refer to for this exam. Please let me know.

How to prepare for SAP FICO Certification Exam.

Dear All,
Can any body would like to tell me on the above cited subject. I have some related querries as below:
1. Does the certification exam question refer the current SAP FICO Version?
2. How to prepare for the exam as I do not want to attend the classes but to appear for exam directly.
3. Is there the model question and answer paper available on sap site or internet.
4. How to get the relevent SAP FICO books. Is the same available on internet?

a. Certifications are usually available for latest versions. contact sap education @sap.com for the same.
b. Am not sure if you could take the exam directly. you need attend academy @ siemens/genovate or work on a sap projects and let your company sponsor you.

HCM Certification version 6.0

Hi SAP Friends,
I am planning to take direct certification in SAP HCM in version 6.0.
I have only the THR12 part I in version 6.0. The remaining 3 books i.e., THR12 part 2, THR10 part 1 and part 2 are in Version 5.0.
Can I go ahead and prepare with the version 5.0 books only or are there any additional concepts added to them in version 6.0? Should I be reading the version 6.0 books only?
Please guide.

Pre-Requisite for SAP BPC certification

Dear Gurus,
Hope you all are good. I am an ABAPER. I want to do SAP BPC certification. Can somebody tell what kind of functional and technical knowledge is required for this certification or to work in BPC. Some told me you need a strong FI/CO knowledge for tis certification some say you need BW technical knowledge for this. I will be highly appreciatibe if someone tells me the pre-requisites or basics in percentage. Can ABAPER moves toward BPC?
My second question is what is the job demand for SAP BPC?

Where did you get the information from that "you have to select in which version you need a certification, there may be 2 seperate test for those two" ???

I am working as SAP SD/CS consultant and planning to take SAP PM certification , I tried searching for the trivial topics to be covered for the certification and kind of questions encountered during the certification but couldn't find any..Requesting all if some one has given already the certification in PM to guide as to how to go about it , do we have to concentrate more on SPRO stuff of PM? Exam will be more theoretical based or will be concentrated more on practical aspect of Plant Maintenance

option 1. Attend certification course and write exam.
option 2. You can write certification test without attending course during SAP TechEd. However, you would need to provide authentication letter from your company to SAP. You would need to qualify for minimum requirements.

We have to upgrde a system from SAP 4.0 version to ERP6.0, is there any difference in EDI and IDOC
tables or their types in ERP6.0 from the 4.0 version, which we have to also consider or not.
but if differences are there but SAP itself is taking care for that, then how the sap is taking care of that ..?

I´m not sure what you mean by "old table to new table".
The general table structure is not changed, VBAK + VBAP are still there. They may have been extended by additional fields, depending on how your system is implemented. It´s also possible, that if you activate any business function after the upgrade, that tables will get appends.
The old IDOC structures working before the upgrade should work after the upgrade the same way since those structures are not touched.

Dynamic internal table in SAP 3.1I version

hi All,
i am new to this form and have the following question.
Currently i am working in SAP 3.1I version and i am required to create a dynamic internal table.
Basically the table name will be entered by the user on the selection screen and the dynamic internal table has to be of this type (entered by user on the selection screen).
Please let me know whether this is possible in 3.1I version and if its possible then how to achieve this.
Note: this requirement has to be done in 3.1I version hence OO concept (ie)
     cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table doesn't work here.

SAP B1 Certification on 8.8

Hi Experts
I wants to do certification on 8.8 in SDK (Technical Consultant). I have provided my S-User id by the company. I wants to ask few question regarding this :
1. How can I do certification through online Portal of SAP or I have to go a authorized SAP Center for Test.
2. Should I apply for test through my company or myself goto center and apply? Someone said that through company fees is less.
3. where I can find the model test paper for certifcation?
4. On the portal of SAP I do't find India's trainging Schedule. Where it is avialable?

With your s-user you have i guess access to the channel partner portal.
Here you can find the relevant information:
1) The certification is not online but in a test center.
You can either contact your local SAP office to find out when the tests are scheduled in your local SAP office.
or
You can book your exam online through PearsonVue at www.pearsonvue.com/sap
To current date we only have the English test published at PearsonVue. Other languages are avaiable at the SAP test centers.
2) The prices were negotiated with PV and are the same to the SAP test centers.

literally saying its a problem with major IT/ Non IT companies that they never consider any freshers in sap , its a scenario in almost technologies, but its a major problem in IT companies. Yes i totally agree with you that, most of the career intitute provide fake matters like having tie up with major companies to take their students through placements.
Listen, whatever your previous experience will be whenever you will move towards sap module , you will be considered as a fresher only, and for a fresher its too tough to get a job in sap world, but its not impossible, if you have determined and you have enthuasism for the same, please don't care for hurdles, as you have industry exposure, you will surely get benifitted through it.
Now according to me, you can take training from where you finds more suitable for you, practice well during training period, and after that you can search job inittially in any non it companies, as they have less criteria requirements, once you will get placed anywhere you will become an experienced proffessional, then you can move easily towards any major IT companies. Initially it will be tough to get a job, but you can take the help from your all contacts in taking a job in sap.
It looks and perhaps its tough in first seen, but i have seen many people who have achieved their goal through consistent efforts.

Services for Object activation required for VA02 in SAP 4.0B version

This is regarding Sales Order Change (VA02) and If I select the MENU navigation : SYSTEM -> Services for Object in ECC 6.0 then it is populating one Pop-up stating that "Sales Order XXXXXXX" Here we have the option for "Create Attachment".
For this we need to do one prerequist in SAP ECC 6.0 Goto Tcode SU01 under the "Parameter" Tab we need to provide the following Parameter ID i.e
SD_SWU_ACTIVE and Parameter value is : "X".
The Same scenario I need in SAP 4.0b version.
It would be grateful if you can helpout in this issue.

Absolutely it is not possible.
The services for object is only visible, once the original object is created.
Even if you check for normal F-02 entry also, it wont be visible during entry, but will be visible after posting if we go thru FB02 or FB03.
Any attachment can be assigned through the services for object, is possible only after creation of the dependent / original data.
So for AS02 and AS03, the dependent data has to be there in the DB, which has been created with AS01.

Web Dynpro Tool is not available in SAP-4.7 version.
u can create web application using BSP(business server pages which is available in 4.7 version.) from SE80
Web Dynpro tool is available in ECC6.0.
To Create a web dynpro application or component Go To SE80,and select Web Dynpro component/interface from the drop down list.
U need to Have SAP Net Weaver Installed in ur version.
