SAP MM - How to prevent further GR if delivery completed in MIGO
Hi Experts,
Scenario:
1. Partial GR has been made for PO.
2. Delivery Completed is already set/ticked upon the partial GR.
We would like to ask if it is possible to prevent further GR for a PO that has been partially GR'ed already using transaction MIGO? Is there a field in MIGO that we can use to tag PO as closed?
Thank you so much.
Hi,
you can only set the delivery complete indicator during the receipt. This does not stop any further receipts.
The only option is to change the purchase order in me22n. You could set the latest GR date (and change the message to an error in customising) or reduce the order quantity to that which has been delivered and set the tolerances to zero to prevent another delivery.

How to prevent a printing of Delivery Note for Spcecific Material Type
Hi,
I had a requirement wherein it was required to "Prevent Mask Delivery notes from printing to Shipping dept"
addition info: All delivery notes are currently set to print in shipping. We can put in a logic to prevent the printing of
delivery note for a specific material type (like mask)
for this i used copy control routine 'RV61B902' in the include for tcode vl02n or vl01n..
my logic is fine..
include 'RV61B902'.
sy-subrc = 0.
DATA : w_matnr LIKE lips-MATNR.
IF T683S-KSCHL = 'LD00'.
IF sy-tcode = 'VL01N' OR SY-TCODE = 'VL02N'.
select matnr into w_matnr from lips where vbeln eq komkbv2-vbeln.
condense w_matnr.
if W_matnr cs '*MASK'.
SY-SUBRC = 4.
exit.
endif.
ENDSELECT.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
question : My check was overwritten by the subsequent logic
please advise.

Prevent GR with the delivery complete indicator set in the purchase order
Dear friends,
During GR reference to PO, if goods are received partially and the delivery complete indicator is set, the PO line item is deemed to be closed.
However, if reference is made again to the same PO line item, GR can still be done to the item that delivery complete indicator was set.(due to there is still quantity to be received)
Is there anyway, we could prevent reference to be made to a PO line item that has delivery complete indicator set?
Thank you.
Regards.it is by design that you still can receive material.
See SAPs explanation here:
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/a5/63343943a211d189410000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
The delivery complete indicator only reduces the commitment values to zero.
If you want restrict further good receipts, then you have to reduce PO quantity to equal the received quantity and must not allow overdelvivery. Further you can enter a latest GR date, which will not allow receipt beyond this date.
Locking the item will as well prevent further actions, but this should only be a short term solution, because the PO will still be considered in MRP runs and will never treated as beeing closed. And you will not be able to archive such POs -
SAP HR: How to prevent delimiting of records when setting a lock
Hi All,
I am part of a SAP HR implementation. In one of the Infotypes, I am copying a record and setting a lock in the new record by going to the menu Edit-->Lock/Unlock.
This should ideally lock the record without touching the previous record. But in my case, the previous record is being delimited. Can someone tell me what settings need to be done in order to prevent the delimiting of the previous record till the lock is unlocked.
Thanks & Regards,
ShobhitI think it depends on the Time Constraint of the Infotype in question. Do you have a valid record with a BEGDA after the record that you are trying to lock?

How To Prevent The Modification Statistical Delivery Date In PO (Me22n)
Hi,
My Issue is as follows:
While I am creating a PO (Of Type STO ->UB) when I put the Delivery Date for a particular Item in the "ITEM OVERVIEW" Screen and press Enter, the same information is copied into the "ITEM DETAIL" screen under the "DELIVERYSCHEDULE" Tab. Over there I see that the Delivery Date and the Statistical Delivery Date" are same. Now when I save the PO and then go to transaction ME22n for the same PO, if I change the Delivery Date in the "ITEM OVERVIEW" Screen, again the same change is reflected in the "DELIVERYSCHEDULE" Tab, on the hit of ENTER button.
Now what I have to do is to prevent the Statistical Delivery Date from being changed Automatically. That is when I create the PO, the value of "STATISTICAL DATE" then evaluated should remain unchanged throughout (unless changed manually). The reason I need this is because it will help the user to evaluate the performance of the Vendor.
Kindly Advise... as to whether there is a way of doing it through exits or enhancements.
Thanks,
PabloGlad it worked out. As from the statistical date field help:
The system inserts the delivery date into this field in the following
cases:
o You do not enter a statistical delivery date.
o You change the delivery date, have not entered a statistical
delivery date, and the PO or scheduling agreement delivery schedule
has not yet been transmitted to the vendor.
Basically, item delivery date is copied to the statistical date if statistical date is blank (which it is at PO creation).
After creation, the statistical date is changed if the delivery date is changed and the PO has not been printed (outputted).

How can SAP be configured to prevent users from consuming locks?
How can SAP be configured to prevent users from consuming locks?
The issue is that we want to prevent users to use upto maximum locks and so that we will not get lock table overflow issue. I know that we can assign parameter "enque/table_size" a good amount of value. But it is not for any specific user.
Also want to alert in CCMS if any user reaches to its maximum speficified limit of locks.
Thanks
GopeshYou cannot set a limit of locks per user. There are two ways to reduce/control the number of locks:
- change fewer records within one transaction
- cover more records with one lock using wildcards
Basically it is an application / development issue.

How to prevent ipad apps from being stored in the iCloud and how to bring them back to the iPad
I have an iPad Mini Retina with 128GB of storage. I purchased about a dozen apps and it gets stored in the iCloud and I don't know how to access them on the cloud storage. Plus I have many apps from me itouch that I use and they are also stored on the iCloud.
How can I prevent further apps that I buy from gettting transfer to the iCloud?
How can I download my existing apps that I purchase and that are from my itouch that are stored in the iCloud into my iPad?
How do I access my iCloud storage from my iPad?
Thanks. You make it sound like apps are disappearing from your iPad and uploading to iCloud. That's not how it works. Maybe somebody (or you) deleted the apps and you don't realize it.
You cannot prevent apps from being stored in iCloud. That is one of the reasons for using iCloud. It will store all of your purchased apps and you will be able to download them if you delete them, or if you buy another device that you want to use the apps on.
If you have apps that are in iCloud, just go to the Purchased Tab in the app store, tap on the Not on this iPad button at the top. Look for any of the apps that you want to download and then tap the cloud icon in order to download them to the iPad. You access your iCloud storage in the purchased tabs of the different stores or in the apps themselves. Any data that is being backed up in iCloud is on the device in the corresponding apps and you don't need to access that data in iCloud. It's at your fingertips already,
Purchased apps do NOT count against your iCloud storage. If you have 60GB of apps, they do not take up the alloted 5GB of free storage that you get. The app data would count against the storage but not the apps themselves. -
How to Prevent/Control doing MIGO twice for the same material
Dear
The stores clerk by mistake has done MIGO twice for the same material. Is there any way to prevent/check the same in standard SAP? Vendor does not send the invoice/delivery challan to stores directly. Invoice is sent to Finance Department.
RegardsIt is very unlikely that you could spec an ABAP solution to this problem.
You may be able to spec an exit that would prevent GR being carried out for a PO Item twice on the same day. But that is not infallible, as there may be valid circumstances when you would need to carry out two GR's for a PO item on the same day. A fix for a small problem that creates a large one is not a good fix.
You also need to ask how big this problem really is - if a user duplicates a goods receipt every once in a long while then you probably do not have a serious problem.
Rather than look at a system fix for the error, I would suggest that you look at what you can do to improve the physical process. -

How to prevent the transaction code
Hi
I want to remove the common transaction code like /n,/o and /nex for particular user.
Is there any SAP standard role availble or how to prevent the authurization for the above client independed
transaction code.
Regards,
JayakumarHi,
I want to know why you need to restrict these features when there is no harm.
These are not transactions. They are extra features in SAP.
/nT-code --- takes you to the new T-code by ending the previous T-code.
/oT-code -
creates a new session with the given T-code.
/nex -
ends the session.

How to prevent posting to flow F99 in journals
Hello
I want to prevent users from using F99 (closing flow) in journals for BS accounts. How to prevent this?. I was trying to set up a validation through UJ_VALIDATION but it is not working. Any idea?
Regards
SAP BOSSI was also trying to restrict the same way, but it is also not working.
My requirement is as follows:
When a user is entering the journal, they should be allowed to use only certain flows like Increase, Decrease. If they are entering the values at the opening flow or closing flow and other non permitted flows it should prevent the user from processing the Journal. I was trying to restrict the flows like your screen shot but it affects DM also. Any ideas?

How can you prevent that error?
P.S.
Oracle support told me [When you make data of mtl_transaction_interface, give same transaction_header_id to all data. Then, you kick worker with appointed transaction_header_id. Or, you set up being uncompatible with workers].
I cannot allow that making with same transaction_header_id and being uncompatible with worker on my system.Hi santosh,
You can implement badi BBP_DOC_CHECK to check vendor email and issue error message.
