With a typical installation of SSM, you won't find an advanced scheduling administrator. The SSM installation guide refers to an optional installation of SAP Scheduler on Netweaver, though doesn't specify how you do that.
The SAP CPS SchedulerAdministrator software for Netweaver is what you are looking for.

Does Sap automatically updates customer credit limit from Financial Doc?

Hi Everyone
Does the Sap automatically updates the customer credit limit from the Financial document(Letter of credit) assigned to particular sales order.
I actually want to know that how can i configure the control at delivery order if i assigned the financial document at sales order.Does the system automatically creates or updates the credit limit of that customer to control over delivery order.
If yes then how and i only want to handle credit management in the case financial document(letter of credit).

yes it does.
Note some important points
Inautomatic credit control field "No Check field", you can enter the number of a requirement with which you can control when credit checks are not carried out. You can deactivate some or all checks. This allows fine tuning on an individual basis for defining credit-relevant transactions and when credit checks do not need to be carried out.
A check should be made to see whether the payment guarantee form has changed (letter of credit, payment card). If the payment guarantee form has not changed and if the old net value does not exceed the new net value, then no credit check is carried out.

Model update validation in between wizard-style pages before commit

Dear All,
We have a number of wizard-style pages (generated by JHeadstart). We navigate between pages using a <af:singlestepbuttonbar> control. We'd like to be able to validate model updates when navigating (next) from one
page to the next, rather than having to wait till the Commit action on the last page.
The model validations should only be performed for model updates that are relevant for the current page being navigated from.
Any suggestions on how we can achieve this would highly be appreciated.

SAP database updations

Hi all
I just want to know whether we can do the SAP database updations through a JAVA program.If we can do this then please explain to me how we can do this.I just want to access the data in the database(SAP) and do the updations whenever we need it through the JAVA program.

Ya...Java APP sents data to XI and XI needs to insert the data into the database.
Before the next round of data is sent by the Application, Xi should sent back info on the status of the records.
Is this what you want?
This will be like I have pointed earlier possible without a BPM. But, make the call from the sending application Synchronous. And then map the JDBC response to the calling aplication.
But this updation is only possible through XI.
If i got the requirement wrong can you let me know in more detail, what is it that you are trying?

SAP EHP Update for Large Database

Dear Experts,
We are planning for the SAP EHP7 update for our system. Please find the system details below
Source system: SAP ERP6.0
OS: AIX
DB: Oracle 11.2.0.3
Target System: SAP ERP6.0 EHP7
OS: AIX
DB: 11.2.0.3
RAM: 32 GB
The main concern over here is the DB size. It is approximately 3TB. I have already gone through forums and notes it is mentioned the DB size is not having any impact on the SAP EHP update using SUM. However am stil thinking it will have the impact in the downtime phase.
Please advise on this.

Although 3TB DB size may not have direct impact on the upgrade process, downtime of the system may vary with larger database size.
Points to consider
1) DB backup before entering into downtime phase
2) Number of Programs & Tables stored in the database. ICNV Table conversions and XPRA execution will be dependent on these parameters.

ESR - How do you import standard SAP Models

We've recently upgraded to PI 7.1 and I'm looking to model some integration scenarios.
I have been reading the following help

Under the section - Modeling Guide for model types in the ES Repository - there is the following note
Finally, the different models are a good way of documenting the whole process of an application and make it easier to enhance software later.
Note
SAP already works internally with the modeling environment, including a unification and standardization process (Governance Process), to increase the level of reusability. SAP delivers the models that were produced by this process as ESR content to aid the understanding of the SAP application.

I'm wondering if there is a way to import these models so I can view them.

Hi John,
After the upgrade, if you drill down the SAP Standard Software Component Versions in the ESR you'll notice some of the models that SAP shipped with the upgrade. You can start looking at those to get a good idea of how SAP has used them.
The other alternative is that if you import XI Content from Service Marketplace that you migh require for building Enterprise Services for a specific scenario you may have, SAP Models used to produce that Enterprise Service/s are shipped with the XI content. You can browse through those as well.

Service doesn't update after data model updating

Hello, dear experts!
I have a question.
I created OData Service and all is OK.
After that I have updated data model. MPC methods have been changed with my new updates. But I can't see new service metadata document, browser displays old version of it. And service works in the way like old version of data model is actual.
I don’t understand this behavior.
In the book “OData and SAP NetWeaver Gateway” I have read that it is not “waterfall” approach in Gateway, which means that we can make changes in all 3 service creation phases (data model definition, service implementation and service maintenance) in the order we want.
I tried regenerate runtime objects and reactivate service, clear browser cache, but it didn’t help.
I put external breakpoint into DEFINE method of the MPC class and send some requests to server, but debugger doesn’t open. It looks like some kind of server cache.
I think it is incorrect behavior. What would you recommend?

SAP JVM update to latest version in NW 7.31 Java only stack

Hi ALL,
Can I know what is the procedure involved updating JVM? As there is no JSPM in 7.31 what are the options to update?
I tried by extracting SAR file and changing version in parameter file but it wasn't successful. After changing to latest version Java stack has not started.
Are there any dependencies in updating JVM?
We have a portal system with different version of JVM, Does this has anything to do?
I would like to update from SAP JVM 6.1_35 to JVM 6.1_63.

SAP Kernel update in HP-UX

Dear Friends,
I have upgraded Kernel patch 236 on HP-UX 11iv2 and oracle 10g.

Is there a SAP (audit) report that will list customer developments that update SAP tables directly? (a listing of Z* programs that INSERT, DELETE, MODIFY, UPDATE SAP tables). Thank you, Adrian

the 50 object restriction should not apply if you define an object set and do not use the on the fly search but save a pattern. I have run the code inspector for 1000 and more objects w/o problems.

Could any body give solution to this query?
To get update the table : /sapapo/model which remote function module we can use?
Actually I have created one model using Function module RSDMESC_DB_MODEL_CREATE.
this model is getting updated in table : RSDMA_DBT_MODELT.
But I need this newly created model available in to the table :   /sapapo/model
How can I do this.Please update me.

using   the function module which you have given, it is just checking the model and given the status whether it is available or not.

Disaster Recovery, How to keep SAP software updated in DR

We're planning to setup a Dr site with a SAP server that has the same software as in the production site. Question is how do we keep the SAP software to be the same as in production ? As sometime we may apply updates.
Will 'rsync' works in this case ?

Error SAP auto-update to windows 7 64bits

I am using SAp 7.30 patch 11 with instalation server 9.0.59.0
When I tried install this release in windows 7 32bits / windows 8 32bits it is working well.
BUT when i tried install in windows 7 64bits and windows 8 64bits the insttalation screen disappear.
I build a new single file without Automatic workstation update and it is working well for 64bits. I think that the problem is AWUS to 64bits windows.
I need install it in 64bits environments. please, can help me?
