SAP Netweaver 2004s Sneak Preview - Partner not reached

Hi all,
I've tried to search the forum for similar message but couln't find it so I post a new one, hopefully someone able to give some help.
I've installed the SAPNW sneak preview ABAP on XP, right after installation I'm able to logon to NSP system. But once I shutdown the computer and turn it on again, I won't be able to access the NSP.
The error message:
"partner not reached (host 127.0.0.1, service sapdp00)
WSAECONNREFUSED: connection refused
I'm not sure what happened, btw:
1. I have installed the MS loopback adapter
2. I've check the C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts & services file. Looks ok, I put them below for your reference
3. I've check the services,SAPNSP_00 & SAPDB: NSP are running
Is there anything need to be setup? Thanks a lot

If the computer name is ABC but a reverse lookup returned localhost. This will lead to problem later on when starting the web application server.You can correct this problem by inserting a line 127.0.0.1 ABC into the host file.

SAP Netweaver 7.0 - J2EE Server Stopped exitcode -2

Hi All,
I am trying to Install SAP Netweaver 7.0 Preview software on to my system I have successfully done that . But when i am trying to start J2E ( i.e J2EE Server Name ) - the J2ee Server present is getting stopped saying Java VM has crashed .
Can you please suggest what needs to be done . My system confguration is 2GB Ram , 120 GB hard drive .

Anytime the j2ee engine dies unexpectedly you must check the following log files in the work directory, std_server0.out and dev_server0. The dev_server0 will usually provide the exit code with a small description and the std_server0.out will provide the runtime details. In the std_server0.out search for "OutOfMemory" as this is one of the most common issues. Try to find the section of the std_server0.out that appears just before you see the restart occurring (before managers are restarting). Please provide any exception information you find there and the details just before the exception such as garbage collection data

Error while installing Netweaver 04s sneak preview trial version for java

I am trying to install SAP netweaver 04s sneak preview trial version for Java in my own desktop. While installing, it is showing the following error

I have installed SAP NetWeaver 04 Sneak Preview from Marketplace.
1) While installing I was getting error: (jload.txt)

After getting this error I removed the following entries from the IMPORT.XML file under C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\NW04SR1\WEBAS_COPY\ONE_HOST

Hi,
I've stored the folders and files into root drive and installed jdk 1.4.2.08 - still the same error messages.
What strikes me:
'command : "C:\Programme\Java\jdk1.5.0_02...'
Why 'jdk1.5.0_02'? My installes version is 1.4.2_08!
I don't know if my environment variables are right. I'm quite a JAVA dummy: I suppose these variables are to be set within the SDK? Which variables should I check (and how)?

Error installing SAP Netweaver Sneak Preview ABAP

I'm getting the following error when I try to install SAP Netweaver Sneak Preview ABAP.

This is something related to your anti virus software like norton.Please trun off Norton while Installing SAP and also make sure that the Id which you use to install SAP has administrator rights.

JDI on Technology Preview SAP NetWeaver 04 on Linux - how to get?

I have sucessfully installed the server (SP7). However, I am missing the java development infrastructure (JDI). It does not seem to be part of the Technical Preview SAP NetWeaver 04 - SAP Web Application Server on Linux.
From the book >Java-Programming with the SAP Web Application Server< I know, that one has to deploy the three software component archives
(1) SAPDEVINFF.SCA
(2) SAPDEVINF.SCA
(3) SAPBUILDT.SCA
I even have these archives from the DVD accompanying the book (SP9). I could deploy the archives (1) and (3). During deployment of the second archive I got the error message:

I tried the same with SP7 of those three archives (obtained from the service market place), with the same result.
What am I missing here? Do I need a different version of the archive? If so, where do I get it?
Or do I need to do some configuration, before I can deploy this archive successfully? If so, what do I have to do?

thanks for the tip, Daniel. What do you mean by "the server is up"? I started sap with startsap nw4host, then opened the SDM tool RemoteGui.sh to deploy the archive.
I investigated the problem a litte more. In order to start with a clean environment, I reinstalled the whole Technology Preview on Linux, as it is.
Then I deployed the two archives
SAPDEVINFF07_0-20000267.SCA
SAPDEVINFF07P_1-20000267.SCA
Then I shut down the server, rebooted the whole system, started the server (startsap nw4host). The software components are now

1.Have you taken the appropriate JCEPolicy file?On which OS are you doing the installations?
2.Check whether the user with which you are doing the installations have all administrator rights.Is it avaialble in the list of administrator user and administrator group?
3.Are environment variables JAVA_HOME nad path set?
try all these things.It will work.

when I am trying to install SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Java sneak preview on windows xp sp2 I am getting the following problem 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Automatic LiveUpdate scheduler does not exist' after giving the jce file path and i can find the registry entry for the automatic live update scheduler .then what is wrong

Do you have Norton AntiVirus installed? If so then you may need to uninstall it and then proceed with installation. Simple stopping it will not work.

I am new to SAP Netweaver Enterprise portal (java)
I donloaded SAP Full Java Edition-Trial -SAP NetWeaver 04 SP16. which is with out visula composer support.
There is another SAP NetWeaver Sneak Preview and Trial.
Which with visual composer support.
That is Full Java Edition2004s-Trial - SAP NetWeaver 04s SP7.
so let me know which Service pack is first.
Weather SP16 is first or SP7 is First.

you have to understand that there a two seperate NetWeaver releases (NetWeaver 2004 and NetWeaver 2004s) with their own support packages.
