SAP NetWeaver 7.02 ABAP Trial Version - Any plan?
As [SAP Enhancement Package 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0|SAP Enhancement Package 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0] is available, I wonder if there will be a 7.02 version of NSP? Is there any plan?

you may already be informed that the version you was looking for is now available at
[http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/nw-downloads|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/nw-downloads]
It's a "NW7.02 SP6" - "XP/Vista 32-bit" version. - no 64bit
(If you're using Win7 the XP-mode probably allows to run the system as well)

Error installing SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version on Windows Vista
This is my second attempt to install. The first time the laptop froze during the MaxDB installation. I was not able to use uninstall.exe (did not exist), so I deleted the entire contents of the sapdb folder and also ran the registry clean tool, RegistryClean.cmd, before the second attempt. Thanks for your response to my question. I have successfully installed VirtualDisk, however I CANCELED the "Create New Virtual Disk" setup at step 8 of your instructions because it states that you must select a size of more than 50GB. After installing VirtualDisk I only have 38GB of free space on my hard drive. System requirements for SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version states 25GB temporary for installation - 12GB permanent. Your instructions specify that an additional 3.5GB are needed for setup files bringing the total space to 28.5GB. Why are more than 50GB required?
If more than 50GB are required, then what are my options? (I have already removed unneeded software, files, etc., so I can't get more space on my existing hard drive.)

SAP Netweaver 7.01 ABAP Trial version
Hi Gurus,
I have installed the SAP Netweaver 7.01 ABAP trial version from SDN. I changed the settings of the Workbench Browser selection in SE80 to had checked the enhancement info system and all other checkbox.
se80 Utilities->Settings
I got a error saying only 8 can be selected. But by mistake i clicked on the enter and now it goes to dump.
now whenever I execute SE 80 i get the following dump

How can I revert back to the original settings for SE80? I cannot change the settings since when i give the SE80 transaction it goes to dump.

SAP Netweaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version not working
Hello,
I am trying to load SAP Netweaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version on VISTA. I am having two problems.
1. When I try to start NSP using SAP Management Console, I am prompted with a pop-up window labeled "WebService Authentication." The first parameter for User is automatically filled with value Home-PC\RESkater. It also asks me to enter Password. I do not know what to enter for password.
2. After I installed the SAP Netweaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version, the download instructions says that I can sign on to system via web gui using http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=000. However, I receive the error message stating "local host is not set up to establish a connection on port 8000 with this computer."
Can anybody give me any helpful tips that might resolve these issues for me?

Regarding issue 1, you to startup NSP, you need to remove the Home-PC\ portion of the username. So your username should only be RESkater. Then the password should be the same as the password that you use to logon onto the operating system for user RESkater.

RegardsHello every body... i´m facing with the same problem and i thinank i´ve just tried everything with no success... 2 days ago i installed ABAP Trial without problems, everything works fine and yesterday i was able to login and practice a little bit. At the end of the day i run the tc SGEN to compile the system and when the jobs ended i shutdown the db and the computer.
This morning i´m not able to stats the db, it´s impossible... i´ve just tried many things that i´ve seen in different post but the error still appears... any idea ? please help me... it´s very important for me to have the ABAP Trial working.
System

HD 100GB.
Here is my dbm file (...the end of the file to see the error).
My user is assigned to SDB Operators.
If i try to start the service manually the system says that service it has been started and stopped because there is nothing to do... any idea ?

here are some points you should keep in mind:
1. Download both parts of the trail version from SAP --> link to it
2. Each of both should have a size of about 1.4GB
3. Save both files in the same directory
4. Extract part1 with a zip-program like WinZip or WinRAR
5. Check that you have about 15 or 20GB of free space
6. Check that your hostname isn't longer than 13 characters
7. Verify that your computer is ping-able by the ip-adress and the hostname
8. Your user account has to be in the administrator-group of the computer
9. Deactivate the installed antivirus- and firewall-program while installing
10. If you had an older trail version already installed please check the steps in the first part of the following site to clean up your computer --> link to it ("Error code = 200...")
11. Stop all running programs, go to the extracted folder, start the start.htm, click on the entry Installation in the right navigation and finally start the Installer
12. Lean back for about an hour and cross the fingers that it will work
Also please don't use Vista - it isn't supported at the moment.

After installing SAP NetWeaver 7.01 - ABAP Trial Version, Enhancement Package 1, I discovered that the Adobe Flex Islands UI element is missing.
- How/when can I play around with it and integrate Flex applications with my WebDynpro 4 ABAP applications?
- Is Adobe Flex Islands for WebDynpro 4 ABAP demonstrated at the teched in Berlin? Which session should I attend?
Any information on the subject would be nice.

That is true. Keep in mind however that the Flash Island isn't meant to take up your entire UI. It is intended to supplement the existing Web Dynpro UI elements. There are things that WD does better than Flex - Value Help, Translation, Personalization, Accessibility. Of course there are advantages to using Flex as well - especially for very visual or highly interactive UI element constructs. Hopefully the combination of Flex and WD gives you the best of both worlds when used in a powerful combination. -
SAP Netweaver 7.01 Abap Trial Version - Flight Model
Hello everyone, Iu2019ve installed SAP Netweaver 7.01 Abap Trial Version for practicing purpose.
Iu2019ve the handbooks of the course version 63 (Year 2008). It uses the structure type BC400_S_FLIGHT and the class CL_BC400_FLIGHTMODEL among others but they arenu2019t included.
How could I get them? And install them.

SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version Issues - cannot start NSP from MMC.
I am trying to install the the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version on Windows XP Professional. The installation ended without errors but now I can not start the NSP instance from MMC. The message server and dispatcher processes both start but message server stop after a few seconds. The dispatcher also stops after sometime. Appreciate any inputs on this. Thanks a lot.................
I was getting similar kind of issue while installing SAP ABAP trail version. After going through documents I found if there will be any SAP installation on that system earlier it will not install SAP ABAP. I format my system, install ABAP server, Install SAP GUI in order. Now it is working fine.
If you do not want to format your system then remove all entry from registry or use virtual PC. I prefer ro use Virtual PC.

SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version - NSP License Key Expired

I successfully installed SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version in July 2009. I kept my 90 day NSP license key up to date until May 2010. I already applied and received a new NSP license key. Unfortunately, I am unable to sign on to SAP using id's SAP*, DDIC, or BCUSER to upload the new license using transaction code SLICENSE. I also can not locate file SAPLICENSE.EXE on my harddrive to update the license using DOS.
Can anybody give me any suggestions on how to update the NSP license key so I can start using the trial version on my computer again?

Thanks for the advice to adjust the system date. I will give you some points.
I just read from another post from Rich Heilman as follows:
"Please try to set your system date back to a date when the previous license had not expired. You may need to reboot here. Start the engine. Try to logon. Install new license. Log off. Change system date back. Restart engine. Please try this, I've heard that it works. If it does, please tell us."
Well when I set my system date back to before license expired, I was able to logon onto NSP and update it with a new license number.

I dont know abt this version of netweaver
But as far as mini sap goes SAP has given the previlages to work in ABAP in Mini Sap .
You can write your code develop the tables but there is no fucntional part attached to it .

New User - SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - ABAP Trial Version
Our company as developed software link from our application to the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module.
To simply the discussion, please assume that the link only creates a PM Notification. Currently this is done via RFC to IQS4_CREATE_NOTIFICATION.
One of our biggest challenges in developing the link for our Oil Refinery customers is the fact that we do not run SAP in our development office. This makes it very difficult to maintain the link because we need to rely on our customers systems to test any changes we make.
In the past, we have made several attempts to purchase a developer license to SAP but could not determine the correct sales avenue. We ended up talking to sales people who told us that we needed to spend $50,000.
Recently, I have installed SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - ABAP Trial Version. I have it running and can log into the SAP GUI and I can make remote function calls to the Airport demo that is installed with it. This environment appears to have everything that I need to develop our link but I can not figure out how to install the PM module. I am not sure if this is even possible.
So here are my questions:
1) Can the PM module be activated/installed in the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - ABAP Trial Version?
2) Would this be included if we purchase the SAP NetWeaver, Development Subscription for $2,300/year.1. No

Download and install ADS on CE1 by SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version
Hi,
I came across many posts but no reply to a simple question: where can we download and how can we install ADS to run on CE1 and be used by SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version?
Then I saw some postings where guys were asking particularities on this issue which means, I guess, that they have downloaded and installed the thing.
Could you, please, provide some directions on this?
Or, if it is not possible, I would like to know that too.
Is there anyone who had success in doing this?

It seems, we have/had? similar problems.
Did you get any infos how to install / run ADS on your CE1 / NW 7.01?
I'm actually trying it with CE 7.2 and NW 7.02 trials.
Until now without any success.
