SAP Netweaver CE 7.1 EHP1 for Windows 32bit

Hello,
anybody knows where I can download a SAP Netweaver CE 7.1 EHP1 for Windows 32bit?
At the SAP Software Distribution Center I have found only 64bit version.
Günter

Hello John,
thank's for your answer which helps me much! In the meantime SAP told us also that it is included in the developer studio.
I don't have DVDs. I can only download from the SAP Software Distribution Center and there I can find 51036014 NW CE 7.11 Appl., Dev.WP 32bit, Doc. 1 of 6.
In the Requirements for the training SAP wrote we have to install SAP EHP1 for NetWeaver CE 7.1 SP4 and Oracle 10.2 or SQL-Server 2005.
If I look to the downloaded 51036014 kit I find the following directories:
CE711_01_DOCU
CE711_01_IM_WIN_I386_ADA
CE711_01_IM_WIN_I386_MSS
CE711_01_JAVA_EXPORT
CE711_01_JAVA_IDE
CE711_01_JAVA_J2EE_INST
CE711_01_JAVA_J2EE_OSINDEP
CE711_01_JAVA_J2EE_OSINDEP_UT
CE711_01_JAVA_JDMP
CE711_01_JAVA_JDMP_COMP
ESE_NET_11
FWK_CE711_01_TOOLS_WIN_I386
K_CE711_UI_WINDOWS_I386
MAXDB_UPDATE
MAXDB_WINDOWS_I386
There is no directory for Oracle. Do you know which directory I have do use for installation?
Sorry I am a beginner  in SAP

Günter

  • Download SAP NetWeaver 2004 Java Trial Version for Windows

    Hi there,
I'm currently working on a project where I need to develop with EP 6.0. For testing my development I wanted to download the SAP NetWeaver 2004 Java Trial Version from
    [https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d058ab2c-e206-2a10-47b7-c05df8a3ae76]
But the files doesn't seem to exist on the server anymore. Has anyone an idea where to find these download files?
    Thanks,
    David.

    Hi Parsman,
You only need SAPGui to logon to ABAP instance...
If you installed a Java Instance.. you need to logon using your browser... URL is in the manual.
    For the J2EE engine page,
    http://<hostname_with_fqdn>:500<instance_number>
    If there a portal installed,
    http://<hostname_with_fqdn>:500<instance_number>/irj/portal
All this info is contained in the installation guide.
    Regards
    Juan

    Hi Gurunadh Kumar
It is not easy to read your question, anyway I made it and let me try to summarize it before providing your the solution:
Reproducing steps when configuring the webservices(SAP ME) in CE 7.1 EHP1.
    1. Log on to SAP NetWeaver Administrator Console by launching the following URL: http://:/nwa.
    2. Choose SOA Management Application and Scenario Communication Single Service Administration .
    3. Search for the Web service: Eg. BOMProcessingIn
    4. Select port type
    5. In the bottom window, select associated ServicePort
    6. Choose the Security tab.
    7. Choose Edit.
    8. Select the Transport protocol.
    9. Check the UserID/Password under HTTP Authentication.
    10. Save while saving I am getting an error :
A problem in the backend. Please refresh the UI. Log Message:  Message:
    [EXCEPTION] com.sap.esi.esp.admin.ui.helper.exceptions.TechnicalException:
Problem occured at the backend. Please refresh the UI.
I have checked through the exception stack traces, this should be caused by the patch level inconsistency between the following
    components on your CE7.11 system:
       - ESP_FRAMEWORK
       - ENGINEAPI
       - J2EE-FRMW
To resolve this problem, please download the lastest patch for all the above software components as per the current SP level,
and deploy them to your system, then try the same steps again.
    Best Regards,
    Thunder

  • SAP NetWeaver 2004s Java Trial Version on Windows Vista

    Hello everyone,
I have been trying to install SAP NetWeaver 2004s Java Trial Version for three days now on Windows Vista Ultimate. Since Microsoft has a new security infrastructure implemented in Windows Vista, it is not that easy to install SAP NetWeaver 2004s Java Trial Version. Windows Vista has some sort of User-account security. In summary, in Windows Vista, you are logged in as an administrator, but when it comes to change system files or do registry entries, you or respectivly third party programs (e.g. SAP NetWeaver 2004s Java Trial Version installer) has no rights to do things like registry entries. There is a possibility to rightclick on the setup.bat file and start it in administrative mode, but that doesn't change a thing.
I hope you guys get my problem.
    This is the error log:

Windows Vista isn't on the support matrix of SAP Netweaver 2004s!
you may play arround with regedit and chaning the security settings of SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DPS key. SAPinst is doing a KEY_ALL_ACCESS when enumerating the services registry.
Starting with Vista some registry values have special protection which do not allow administrators to open them with KEY_ALL_ACCESS.

  • SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 EHP1 does not support version 1.5 JCA?

    Hi,
I've been following the documentation of SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 EHP1 regarding creation of a version 1.5 resource adapter. When I finally got to "Add/Remove projects" in the server view to test my adapter, I get this error:
The server does not support version 1.5 of the J2EE Connector module specification
Is this true? Then why does the documentation explain how to do it?

    Hi Johan,
I agree with you that this does not seem clear enough throughout the Resource Adapters documentation.
Generally speaking about the Developer Studio, there are two equivalent options to add your project (be it JCA, EJB, Web, JPA, etc.) to an EAR project:
While creating your project, you can specify that you want it to be added to an EAR project - either a new one or an existing one (you can create the new EAR project also in the meantime, while creating your JCA project). This is done using the "Add your project to an EAR" checkbox and the relevant dropdown list and button...
Create your project. Then create a new EAR project and specify which projects you want to be included in the EAR.
As I promised, we will improve that part of the documentation for the next release.
    Thanks again, and best regards,
    Yordan

Having a look at the FTP site, it would seem that the file is available on:

Obviously this bypasses the licence agreement page that you may wish to read seperately.

  • SAP NetWeaver BW Connection not working for SBOP4.0

    Hello Experts,
Following are the steps & current patches:
    SBOP 4.0
    Dashboard Design , version: 6.0.0.0
    SAP Logon
    Release : 720
    Patch: 5
    1. SAP BW  & NetWeaver Portal are not SSO(Single Sign-on)
    2. I open the Dashboard Designer
    3. Click on "Manage Connection"
    4. Select 'SAP NetWeaver BW Connection'
    5. It pops-up the Log-on screen
    6. Pass on the required information
    7. Use the  query browser & selected the query
    8. it takes the query with no error message
    Issue:
    1. It is not showing the Input values & Output values
Not able to display the BW Bex Query element using Dashboard Designer - SAP NetWeaver BW Connection.
Please let me know if we are missing any config. or step.
    Thanks
    Mahendra

Thanks Amit for your suggestions. I tried the below steps & still it is not working:
    1. re-installed Adobe version 10.1
    2. Tried to connect the BW Bex query using SAP NetWeaver BW connection.
    3. I am getting no error but Dashboard designer is not able to display the Input values & Output values of the BW BEx query
As I had mentioned you earlier that when I open the Bex report using the designer using the IE, it calls the portal window & I have to enter the LDAP password then the report opens in the portal.
So I think as our BW & portal are not configured as SSO so when the Dashboard designer tried to load the query from the xml file it fails. It may be because it required my LDAP login credentials.
Please let me know your suggestions.
    Thanks
    Mahendra

Without such installation, applications you have developed with the Trial Version will only be able to run standalone on NW Mobile Client, but without data synchronization.
Does the CE version contain AS ABAP 7.1? Link to the specific download pl.

    Hi,
There's no SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.1 trial version available on SDN. The CE trial version only contains the Java AS.

  • Current Patches for Windows (32bit) 9.2.0.8

We have recently upgraded to Windows 32-bit Oracle 9.2.0.8.  Note 539921  lists the patchset for Windows 32-bit as follows:
    NT_I386 32-bit
    /Oracle/Oracle 32-Bit/Oracle 9.2.0. 32-Bit/Oracle 9.2.0.8. 32-bit/
    NT_I386/Patchset_9208_WINNT.zip
The patch set is installed with the runInstaller - see README.html
For more information about installing patch sets, see Note 578683.
*In addition, use opatch to install patch 12 for 9.2.0.8.
    /Oracle/Oracle 32-Bit/Oracle 9.2.0. 32-Bit/Oracle 9.2.0.8. 32-bit/
    NT_I386/9208_Patch12_WINNT.zip*
So, after an upgrade to Windows 32-bit 9.2.0.8 you should then immediately apply patch 12?  The problem is reading note 1107601 - CPU Patches October 2007 (Oracle Critical Update Program)
    states the following:
*The CPU patches are not a patch set, but rather a collection of patches. If
there is a critical problem, you may have to install a separate fix, which
conflicts with the CPU patch. In this case, you must uninstall the CPU
    patch.*
But there is nothing specific for 9.2.0.8 (it implies there are no conflicts for 9.2.0.8):
For Oracle 9.2.0.7, note the following:
Unfortunately, the CPU patches for Oracle 9.2.0.7 conflict with patches
that have already been installed and that are important for an SAP system.
Therefore, there will be no further release of the patches for Oracle
9.2.0.7. *We therefore recommend that you upgrade the database to Oracle
9.2.0.8 and use the CPU patches for Oracle 9.2.0.8 instead.*
So I'm assuming that after installing patchset 9.2.0.8 for Windows 32-bit I should apply patch 12 (which is CPU October 2007).  There are some patches listed under "Oracle Other" that seem to be generic patches listed under the download section for oracle 9.2.0.8.  Do these patches cause a conflict with patch 12?  I haven't seen a note that says to install them.
I haven't found a note that says to install anything other than patchset 9.2.0.8 and then patch 12.  Is this right?  I need to find out pretty quick so any help  is appreciated!

    Hi,
do following as of note 539921
    first apply patch set 9.2.0.8
    /Oracle/Oracle 32-Bit/Oracle 9.2.0. 32-Bit/Oracle 9.2.0.8. 32-bit/
                                            NT_I386/Patchset_9208_WINNT.zip
than apply cpupatch CPUOct2007 patch 12 for  9.2.0.8  if you found critical problem with CPU it's optional
use opatch to install patch 12 for 9.2.0.8.
         /Oracle/Oracle 32-Bit/Oracle 9.2.0. 32-Bit/Oracle 9.2.0.8. 32-bit/
                                              NT_I386/9208_Patch12_WINNT.zip

  • A bug of Streams in Oracle 9.2.0.1 for windows-32bit platform ?

I made a stream on Oracle 9.2.0.1 .As you know, two SCN ,Applied_SCN and Captured_SCN ,can told some information about capture process. If you use stream ,you have to run database under archivelog mode.
Some days later, about 2G redo logfiles produced. If you do not delete them ,one day they can filled in your store space ,which make the stream not work .
But before you delete these redo log files, you must make sure the SCN of range of redo log files you want to delete. If delete without check, capture process relys on these files and will be aborted. Before I had this experience . But if you do not made operations to database tables, and no changes need to transmit.Beacause applied_SCN only increase after receiving messages from remote database. So when I let alone my source database,I find applied_SCN keeping the same and redo log file almost be full of restore space.Others told that Oracle 9.2.0.1 has some bugs .But I can not get Oralce 9.2.0.x for win-32 for testing.
What advices can you give? Thank you.

Well, heres my test (10g, for I dont have a 9.2.0.1.0, but I think it´d show the same result):
