SAP Netweaver Trial Version under Win 7

Dear Support - Team,
I have a new laptop installed with Win 7 Home Premium 32bit version.
Now i wanted install the trial version from DVD (it was an additional to the book " ABAP Objects in SAP Netweaver).
At first the installer tried to start and needed an addon from MicroSoft and wanted a Reboot of my system,
and then I had to start the setup.exe again.
This was 3 times again.
Now when i try again to install the version 7.0 from dvd, i get the error message:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:run
Exception in the read:"main"
Now i have tried it again and i get the error:
the installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the console or silent flag.
The graphical mode is 1366 to 768.
What i do wrong?
Do i need the version 7.01 or something else?
Or doesn't run the system under win 7?
I would be very pleased to you, when i get some answers or tipps to solve this problem and i can start my education in programming sap!!

Additional to the apply before:
Now i have installed the Java SE Development Kit 1.4.2_19.
But the error exist again.
A friend said, it could be a error in my graphical installation: i have to choice the agp slot for my graphic card.
but this seems to difficult.
In the system requirements doesn't stand something to this point.
At the moment i'm downloading the version 7.01 but it is a long way because i don't have a great bit rate in my dsl.
When you have another idea i would be very pleased.
I am waiting for a fast answer

SAP NetWeaver trial version 4.0 extending trial period error

Hello.
I have installed successfully SAP NetWeaver trial version 4.0 After 30 days of trial, it stopped working because of period licensing. I have tried to extend this period installing a NSP.txt file from SAP. A successfull message apears after installing it, but nothing change, the licensing period does not change. And, to do it easier, the user SAP* has not privilegies to liberating my transport order, so I cannot download my work. A nasty experience, doesn't it?.

Yes, I have done it already. There's one tmp license that I cannot delete, and a row with my new license that I have delete, install new one, success message but does not work.
I have tried to install a new period license before ending the previous one... I guess it could have influenced. Nevertheless I will try it again.

Installing Sap Netweaver Trial Version

Hi guys!
I have installed in my notebook a sap netweaver trial version, but I have another PC with less resources than my computer. I would like to know if there is a posibility to have the sap gui in the second PC and use some like a Sap Route in order to get connected this second notebook to sap database of my PC.
I will appreciate any help on this topic.

MaxDB instance error sap netweaver trial version 7.0

I installed sap netweaver trial version 7.0 in e drive which has got 60 GB.netweaver and sap logon front end installed and max db also installed suscessfully
when configuring maxdb database i.e adding new instance the following error appears.

SAP Netweaver Trial version error at stage 4

I tried to install the SAP Netweaver trail version on my system, all the steps I followed are as per instructions. BUt I am getting into this error message, please let me know if someone can help me.

SAP Netweaver trial version - ABAP version

Hi Everyone,
In August I had downloaded SAP Netweaver 2004s ABAP edition. It was a 90 day triay version. Due to lot work could not work on it much. Now if I want to work it, its not connecting, because the 90 day trial version has expired.
I wanted to extend the trial version license but while requesting for it, its asking for the hardware key. Can anyone please help me in getting this trial version work somehow.

SAP Netweaver trial version from internet

Gurus -
I have finally managed to install the trail version of SAP 7.0 in my home PC running on XP Home
I am only able to access the system from my home network. When I am outside of the network am not able to access it. I think I have to configure some port forwarding stuff in my home wireless router.
Any pointers?

I have installed SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.02 64-bit Trial system inside a virtual machine on VirtualBox (Microsoft Server 2008 R2 Enterprise). The host machine is in the office and I have access only from office network. When I am outside of the network am not able to access it.
Can I access the system from outside (i.e from home, any other network) the office via Internet?
I attach screenshots - "ipconfig" from host and guest machine.

I should mention that, address 192.168.1.101 I have added in file "hosts" located in Windows\System32\drivers\etc on virtual machine.

Sap netweaver trial version - ITS \ ICM - website

Hi,
Have a test enviroment running the NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial version.
Is there a way to host an additional website on this server without installing another webserver. For instance could I use ICM, ITS integrated webserver?
This new site has nothing to do with sap, I was just wondering if this could be done, and if so, how. Or can it not be done unless something like IIS or Apache installed for the virtual directories.

SAP Netweaver trial version installation problem

Dear friends
I tried to install SAP netwaever tial version on my labtop. I followed the instruction excatly as shown in the website www.sdn.sap.com. the first confusing thing I faced that during installation of MS loopback adapter I found that the network adapter I cfreated dose not contain (internet protocol TCP/IP instead I had internet protocol version 4 TCP/IPv4. however I used it and do IP address as specified. then I continue installation and when I finished I didnt find the following in my start up menu Programs u2013> SAP NW 7.01 ABAP Trial Version u2013> NSP. only a SAP Management Console was installed. Now I tried to uninstall SAP netweaver from my system in order to reinstall again, but I couldn't uninstall completely and each time I tried to reinstall the system keep give me waring massage that SAP already installed. even I used the registery clean tool but still facing the problem.
Please help me to completely uninstall all the SAP component from my system in order to installed it again.

Thanks for your reply I will use the links yo sent to me in yor reply bt first of all I should uninstall all SAP component from my system. each time I run setup from image folder I always get the following massage " the Wizard has detected an already SAP system NSP on this host. Uninstall first." I need a way to remove the remaining SAP . I uninstall every folder I saw in my harddrive related to SAP and also I used registry clean tool bt still I face the problem

Getting error while installing sap netweaver trial version 7.2

while installing netweaver, i m getting an error Last error reported by the step :The database installer reported an error. DIAGNOSIS: Some database applications might still be running. SOLUTION: Check the log file sdbinst.log and C:\sapdb\data\wrk\MaxDBRuntimeForSAPAS_install_<date>_<time>.log.
when i checked sapinst_dev.log it contains an entry stating "The subkey 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAP DBTech' does not exist on the 'localhost' host"
Please help me in resolving this issue.

SAP DBTech' does not exist on the 'localhost' host.
'sapinst' is checking the
registry to find whether db is installed or not and it cannot
find the registry branch.
Start/Run... Type regedit and delete the followings
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAP DBTech

Install. SAP NW 7.01 ABAP Trial Version on Win 7.0 Professional 64 bit OS

Dear Experts,
I was trying to install SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version(SAP Management console -sapmmcX86u.msi from <extract_folder>\sapmmc) on Window 7.0 professional 64 bit machine,but getting the following error message.
'This installation does not support 64 bit windows operating systems. Please use the corresponding 64 bit installation package.'
Can you please share procedure how to install 7.01 ABAP Trial Version on Win 7 Prof.64 bit operating system.

Hi Anil,
Hope you have managed to install the trial edition in win 7, However if not then you can use virtualization to solve your problem, you can download windows virtual PC which has a XP mode so this XP mode runs XP inside your Win7 OS (just like a application) and then you can install the trial edition inside virtual XP(never tried it myself though).

I have an issue with SAP NW 7.0 Trial Version. I have installed this Trial Version earlier on my system. But due to some circumstances, I had uninstall it and try to install once again. But while copying from "sdn" it shows, page cannot display error and I'm unable to install the same 2 zip files on my system.
Kindly let me know that how can I install the same version again on my system.

There was an issue with the download some time back as even I was not able to download the Trial Version but it has now been resolved.

HCM in NetWeaver Trial Version

We are trying out with the Netweaver Trial version in our Team. ABAP and EP are working fine. As per the manual it is mentioned that HCM is also included. But as such I see no signs of HCM in it and the T-codes does nt seem to exist. Is there any integration to be done for the same???

i need some help concerning the usage of Adobe Interactive Forms in SAP (ABAP) Trial Version.
I installed SAP Netweaver 7.01 (ABAP Trial Version) and i would like to use the Adobe Interactive Form editor (transaction SFP). Is this trial version prepared for this? Is it possible to edit and test Interactive Forms in the ABAP Trial Version too?
Somebody told me that he installed Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1 but the layout manager part of the editor shortdumped when he wanted to go back to other parts of the editor or he wanted to save what he did...
Is it enough to install Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1? Is there something else to install or configure?

Yes, you need the lifecycle designer installed. That should be enough to work with the SFP transaction. But to actually use the form, I think you do need the ADS(Adobe Document Services) which runs on the java stack.

"Only assign one SAP NetWeaver product version to product system"

Somehow, after upgrading my PI system from NW 7.11 to NW 7.4, the SAP-XICONS component was left at the lower version. Everything else was upgraded and SUM didn't complain about this component. The component was present in the stack.xml file and the SCA was available. Yet somehow it was missed.
Now I am unable to use SUM to update the component. There seems to be no way to get the LMDB to reflect the actual versions of this system and have Maintenance Optimizer function.
After I assigned everything in the LMDB, the Verification Check says "Only assign one SAP NetWeaver product version to product system". And then MOPZ gives errors such as: "Wrong Netweaver product version found SAP NETWEAVER 7.4" and "Multiple Netweaver Product Version were found".
However, if I remove the assignment of 7.11, MOPZ is still unable to calculate the queue. It even gives the same errors.
How can I fix this? Is there some other way to generate the stack or get SUM to upgrade the component?

The root cause was MOPZ marking the component incorrectly in the stack XML.
The resolution was to use telnet to 5xx08 to manually deploy the SAP-XICONS archive.
